2142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth moving 1/2 a Bitcoin for the hard-fork? on: October 20, 2017, 03:35:44 AM
Hi all, confused about the hard fork.

Using Exodus wallet, and supposedly they do not support the Bitcoin Gold fork tokens...

The fees on moving a half a bitcoin with Exodus would be a few dollars I think.

Would having 1/2 a coin be worth moving my funds to a supporting wallet?

Thanks!

Depending on the case  opinions are subject to change.Maybe there will be new opportunities but dont forget that there are  counter arguments against current fork.Do your own homework and accept decision by yourself.
2143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who do you think will compete with Bitcoin? on: October 20, 2017, 03:33:57 AM
IMO there are new coins with their own blockchain can copmete with bitcoin. I expect mass adoption in blockchain tecnology in 2018. If everything goes well things will change drastically and banks will try to take advantage of blockchain.

2146  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin be worth in 5 years? on: September 23, 2017, 04:27:16 PM
This would be interesting, my simple bet would be hundreds of dollars if not more.

In 10 years population will shift payments to cryptocurrencies. In this case your prediction can be true..
2147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: September 23, 2017, 04:24:28 PM

Great looking site! Looks like a project to definitely keep an eye on. I wish I had an analytics platform to see if this is a good investment Tongue just kidding, but I do look forward to seeing the platform. Good luck!
I cant understand the main reason on this project.. There are other alternative services as well.

The rapid recuperation after each real retracement since the start of 2017 is a wonder that has presented some uniqueness in the trend pattern of the Bitcoin showcase.

According to me Bitcoin will hit $10000 mark in few months for sure.So watch out for it guys.  Smiley

Really optimistic and unreal forecast Smiley It looks like you saw latest uptrend wave on bitcoin price chart and start to imagine continious trend. But that is not how things turn on crypto world.

and as for your altcoin list, each of those altcoins have already a website or an announcement topic on bitcointalk which people must visit instead.
I wish I could have a stickied topic like this one the first time I visited the forums.
Fair enough.  A lot of the time phishing sites rank even higher on Google than the real ones - many people have been scammed by phishing sites of the Bitcoin mixer Bitblender, because a phishing site used to rank higher than the real site.  A lot of phishing sites also use Google's ads to trick people into thinking it's a higher result.

For wallets though, there is one in the Beginners and Help section, which ideally should be the first section you go to.  However I understand that a lot of newbies wouldn't do that as soon as they see the forum.
(Edit) or way better : put the links in code tags, then they could not be clicked. Like I did in my previous post.
Yeah, that's way better.  What you should be doing though is talking to a trusted member about this, perhaps to direct newbies' attention towards the Beginners and Help section better.

You nailed it Wink  That's why scammer use google ads to attract more people for gaining traffic on site. Also  there are so many phishing attempts on social networks.I already uninstalled slack app from my android phone because hackers use bots to send fake myetherwallet site link almost every week.
2153  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for additional investor on: August 11, 2017, 09:54:06 PM
Hello,

I have a bitcoin related startup I am working on.

I have invested my own funds to it but need additional.

We speaking about 7,000-10,000$.

The profit forecast ±30,000 $/mo.

Only serious people.

Thanks.

Why do you feel you need additional funds? Maybe you can explain project a bit more to clarify things. Are you only looking for big guy or group of investors? What about providing some proofs before we start to discuss investing options?
2154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price correction, When? on: August 11, 2017, 09:47:38 PM
When do you think the correction will happen?

It's weekend and usually people tend to take their profits at the weekends.

Not yet. We are stilll riding the post split wave of enthusiasm. most people werent aware of what the split really meant; there was a lot of fud and greed that jacked the price around. now that we are past that, folks have gone full retard. like Tropic Thunder taught us, you can never go full retard. This is a bubble, pure and simple. it pains me to say that, because I heart bitcoin, but I would ask anyone that reads this to explain to me why bitcoin is 3x the price of gold. and if you have an explanation, then come trade me my bitcoin for your gold. because if the electricity goes off, i will still have that gold. and you will have regret.

crypto aint everythang.

I'll probably buy a good amount of gold when I'm older, but not yet.

You can invest to "next gold" of future now: Buy bitcoins like there is no tomorrow Wink
When btc price hit 10000$ panic sell will start as we know from history:Emotional levels on chart. Logic cant control market because emotions already have full control Wink
2155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My experience with bitcoin ATM. Had to wait as was in use. on: August 11, 2017, 09:40:07 PM
Last week I went to the only bitcoin ATM that was nearby that both bought and sold coin.  Had to travel 8 miles, was in use when i got there, so had to wait a few minutes. Then had to wait for one confirmation to cash out(around 1/2 hour) The map showed a few others bitcoin atm's nearby that only sold.  It paid at a rate of $3000 per coin, about a 10% discount at the time.

What about fees when you withdraw cash from btc ATM? Unfortunatetly there isnt even single btc atm near my city. That's why i ordered numerous debit cards from btc debit card services which i will use  them to handle big amounts.

All assets are only depend on two factors under real market conditions: Supply and Demand  That's why traders always check big guys'orders before entering positions Wink
