I will be repeating this post into A LOT of bfl threads now...If you are MAD at BFL, then "wreak havok on the lives of the persons mentioned"

I don't stand for nor support for "wreaking hovok on the lives of the persons mentioned".

A mod should probably look over the above post and delete it at their discretion.
2142  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 30, 2013, 11:19:40 AM
Only 1 person was sufficiently "moved" or "motivated" enough to leave a review for BFL today:

https://plus.google.com/108957607274308601800/about?gl=us&hl=en&review=1

If this shows little motivation behind BFL's customers, then they (BFL) should probably not have much fear of any repercussions.

I encourage people to leave feedback so that BFL takes notice of what they are doing that is upsetting or pleasing their customer base.

You are surprisingly easy to please.

Your order number is only 3,xxx.

The range of orders goes up to 72,xxx, notice the difference in how many digits there are?

So basically, you are happy because your early pre-order has shipped. But you don't seem to care anymore that about 70,000+ orders are still waiting in line for their units?

Well, in either case, are you now ready to sing praises and support BFL now that "you got yours"?
2145  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 29, 2013, 03:59:41 PM
Nah, I am just fooking with you both. (Though I am a known BFL Shill at times)

I understand your plight. But seriously, the forum venting is fine and all, but if you aren't doing something extra then it really is like sitting on your hands and waiting for your Jally (or Single) to arrive when they finally get to it.

You should be proactive and challenging of their complacent attitude towards events and standing issues:

The rage has made them almost nonsensical. I think there are grounds for emotional and mental stress...LOL.
STFU you bitch!!! I wish all BFL people will go in JAIL !
Then put your case together and start prosecuting them.

You should also write a review of your experience at Butterfly labs. Positive and Negative feedback is always welcomed at BFL.

BFL don't give a shit about customer satisfaction or feedback. They laugh at their customer, especially those who supported them at the beginning when they needed money. Now they succeed they shit on us.
See, your not serious about this. This is why you won't even take the time to send them feedback about your experience.

There are Mini Rig owners with more money invested in this than you, do you see them complaining about losing a few ten's of a grand?

2150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL announces 28nm 600GH/S blade for $4680 on: August 28, 2013, 10:16:30 PM
There's a lot to consider.  Pre-orders are open now (Yes, I know BFL's history, no need to discuss further) and early adopters of new ASIC technology have often been greatly rewarded for taking some extra risk.  I'm taking that little extra risk and have converted an April pre-order for a Monarch.  And now I want to read what other people think, specifically about the Monarch and not about BFL's well-documented history.

Let's assume that BFL does everything perfectly and ships the Monarch in Feb. It's overpriced. KnCMiner, HashFast, CoinTerra, and BitFury will have better products long before then.

I know it's wishful thinking but I have a very early pre-order.  And if indeed there is a "bullet run", I may be in it.  And that changes the ROI on the Monarch by a healthy margin.

Btw, I have orders with KnC and Bitfury too.  I'm still on the fence with CoinTerra and HashFast.
They (BFL) had a bullet run in November-December of 2012.

That didn't do them any good. (Assuming that wasn't a lie of course.)

Potential heat and power concerns as well given BFL has failed each time they have come to market... another big what if they mess it up again?

And why is it so ridiculous to think they may have learned from past mistakes?

Btw, I know I'm being contrary to popular opinion here and I would like to thank you guys for not calling me a sock puppet or a shill... yet.  Wink
You aren't much welcome on BFL forums either.

You don't qualify as a shill. I disown you.

@ BTC-Engineer/Nasser

I don't think you are talking to who you think you are.
Who are we talking to then?

Those who can read have a clear advantage.
BTW: Are you not the one who first corrected me, as a non English native speaker, after my first posting in this thread, by not only just telling me what I've done wrong. You quoted a multi-page posting, just to point out one wrong spelled word. This really helped a lot!

To answer your question, just to avoid that anyone thinks I like this confusion.
I guess you mean BFL-Engineer, also known as Mr. Nasser from BFL.
I'm BTC-engineer. And just for the case - I was first here.

You would do me, and I guess most others also a big favor by avoiding this topic or even better, reducing your 'activity' on a Kindergarten section in this forum, for users without a real life.
I understand, making a fan grill is a challenge.

...and in all honesty, it is an improvement. (who designs these original pieces?)

I will eliminate any topics misdirected at BTC-Engineer.

@ BTC-Engineer

I'll leave some posts so that continuity across the thread makes sense. I offer my apologies on mis-identifying you.

2157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Old BFL buyers vs new asicminer prices on: August 28, 2013, 08:32:38 PM

I suppose it needs it's own thread as I suggested since it is quite valuable information about the current market vs. the past market purchases. That should play into your decision when making any NEW PURCHASES like the BFL Monarch... ergo this is maybe a good place to point out the failures of BFL delivery. Would it not? To protect people possibly making the wrong choice when purchasing? Or should we all ignore this analysis?

Haven't we analyzed this to death?  There are dozens of threads about this very topic.  Is it really necessary to ruin another thread with the same stuff we've been reading for months?  I personally want to hear what others have to say about the Monarch.  Nothing else.
Such as...?

Make an example
2158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 28, 2013, 08:25:32 PM
http://courts.jocogov.org/dc_smallclaims.aspx

I will start researching on some of these topics. I believe if you receive a positive judgement (which is as someone said, super easy) there are ways to put a lien on the property owned by BFL.

Though I do not know how many people can place a lien on the property belonging to BFL. I am not a lawyer nor a professional but I know placing liens is incredibly easy if they don't pay up.

Quote
1) Plaintiff pays at the time of filing; $xx.00 (xx.00 filing fee, xx.00 to serve one person in xxxxxx County) and completes a Statement of Claim Form.  The Court prepares a citation addressed to the defendant.

2) The Constable personally serves the Defendant with a citation and a copy of the Statement of Claim.  The citation notifies the Defendant to appear for Monday at 10:00 a.m. following the expiration of (10) days from the date he/she was served.

3) On the court date, the Judge conducts a trial of the case and decides who won and for what amount.  The court then prepares a judgment for the Judge to sign.  (Note: prepaid filing fees (court costs) and all future court costs are usually automatically awarded into the court's standard judgment).

4) If the Defendant does NOT appear on the court date, the Judge may enter a Default Judgment against him/her.

5) Either party may appeal the judgment by filing a Notice of Appeal, Appeal Surety Bond with the court, and pay the required appeal filing cost of $xx.00, within (10) ten days from the date of judgment.  If no appeal is filed within (10) ten days, the judgment becomes final.

6) After (30) thirty full days, judgment is final, the party who won (the party who was awarded the judgment) can request a WRIT OF EXECUTION, for an additional cost of $xxx.00 to enforce the judgment.  The Constable serves the Writ on the party who lost and makes oral demand for payment.  If the constable receives no payment, and there is no non-exempt property to levy on, the Writ is returned to the court.  THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT JUDGMENT WILL BE COLLECTED BY A WRIT OF EXECUTION.  Call the Constable's Office at (210) 335-2806, for further details about a Writ of Execution.

7) Another alternative to try to collect on a judgment is an ABSTRACT OF JUDGMENT, at an additional cost of $x.00. The court prepares the Abstract which the winning party must file with the County Clerk Records Department at the Courthouse. When properly filed, an Abstract places a lien against any non-exempt, real property of the losing party for a period of (10) ten years and is renewable. ABSTRACT OF JUDGMENT CAN BE REQUESTED AFTER (10) TEN DAYS AFTER JUDGMENT IS FINAL.  When requesting an Abstract of Judgment, you should, whenever possible, provide the court with the losing party's current address and amount, if any, that had already been collected on the Judgment.

Cool FAILURE TO APPEAR: If a defendant who has been served with citation fails to appear at the time and place specified in the citation, the Judge shall enter a default judgment for the plaintiff in the amount proved to be due. The Judge may set aside the default judgment if, not later then the 10th day after the default judgment is signed, the defendant files with the Court a written motion showing good cause for setting aside the judgment.

If the plaintiff does not appear, the Judge may enter an order dismissing the action without prejudice. The Judge may set the case for trial if, not later then the 10th day after the Judge dismisses the action, the plaintiff files with the court a written motion showing good cause to set aside the dismissal.

NOTICE:  YOU MUST SIGN AND FILE A "RELEASE OF JUDGMENT" FORM if and/or whenever the Defendant pays off the full judgment owed to you.  A release form can be obtained at this office.

Quote
LIMITED JURISDICTION:
Small Claims Jurisdiction is $10,000.00 or less.  Small Claims court can only award judgment for money and cannot order a person to do some act or try to refrain from doing some act.  Small claims are courts in which our citizens can settle small money disputes in a speedy, informal setting.

Quote
VENUE: (SMALL CLAIMS FORM)
SMALL CLAIMS NORMALLY MUST BE FILED IN THE COURT OF THE PRECINCT WHERE THE DEFENDANT LIVES: Under some circumstances you may have a choice of courts in which to bring a claim.  For example, if the Defendant lives in one precinct but contracted to perform services in another precinct, either the precinct where the defendant lives or the precinct where the work was performed can be selected as the place to bring suit.

Quote
BE CAREFUL WHO YOU SUE:  First determine who you are suing;
1) An Individual Person; or
2) An Individual Owner Doing Business (d.b.a.) As a Company; or
3) A Corporation (Incorporated Business)

1) If you are suing an individual be sure you spell the name fully and correctly and have the exact address.  If you know of more than one good address where the defendant can be located (i.e.:  home address, work address, etc.), be sure and list ALL KNOWN ADDRESSES ON THE FORM.

2) If you are suing a sole proprietorship (for example, John Doe owns ABC Auto Parts and does business under the assumed name of ABC Auto Parts) sue: John Doe individually and doing business as (d.b.a.) ABC Auto Parts.  If you do not happen to know the owner of the sole proprietorship, you may contact the Assumed Names Dept.  located at the courthouse for more information.

3) If you are suing a Corporation: You must sue the Corporation and serve its registered agent.  The Secretary of the State can provide this information of the name & address of the registered agent.  It is YOUR responsibility to find out if the business is incorporated or who the true owner is when filing.
2159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon chip order unboxing photos on: August 28, 2013, 08:22:56 PM
Wow so I order one day later and my order is 2 weeks later delivered...

As far as "customs problems" go, they are definitely doing something shady with customs in that the invoice for the order claimed the value as $0.04 per chip, 10k chips $440 invoice.  It also prominently stated "sample chips only - no commercial value".  So those are misrepresentations right on the official invoice that the customs agents read.  It suits me well enough because that lowers the tax burden for all parties.

I'm having them assembled into clones by Bitmine.

Sorry for the bluntness, I feel it's all too necessary: it never fails to amaze my how people are all to willing to write nothing less than a signed confession statement to tax crimes that form a part of a business venture that isn't even complete yet. Am I the only one thinking FFS STFU?
I realize this as well, people really don't think half a second about what they post.
