1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 09, 2019, 07:36:50 PM
I agreed with what you said about gambling been the most risky one of all investment but we must not ignore the fact that every great investment opportunity comes with great risk and no business or investment setting will ever produce profit simultaneously without the inclusion of lost.

Risk is unavoidable part of gambling, so no risk no reward. In business there are cycles, trends, management  and more. ROI is man concept  in investing that cash flow gives expected return usually.
God hears us and listens to prayers so ask something else except gambling. Begging for positive result doesn't change the outcome but it helps your mind to accept fact in different level. Wink
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: You were warned on: January 09, 2019, 07:19:26 PM
Remember 2008?

People lost their homes, cars, savings, some lost everything. Lots committed suicide, others got in to drugs or heavy drinking.

The 2008 banker heist destroyed thousands of lives and totally slowed down millions of others.

The corrupt system went and made YOU pay for their theft. The People paid the bill against their will, because no one chooses to pay tax.

Get ready for the new cycle

A lot of people have been trying to warn about what's going on now right under our noses.

The FED has printed over U$ 22 trillion since 2008. The only reason the markets went up is because the FED printed all this money to pump it up.

There is no economic recovery, there is no real growth. There is no demand for oil or gasoline which are the main fuel for the economy. Nobody's buying gas, it's building up in repositories. If nobody's buying gas, nobody's driving, products aren't moving, the economy is NOT growing. The only reason oil goes up is when OPEC agree to use their monopoly powers to cut production. There is no demand.

Same thing with the FED, there is no real valuation in the markets, the FED is simply helping their banking buddies pump the markets.

When the FED says "we'll stop printing money for just a bit" the markets crash 5% in one session. There is no real value.

Everyone's in denial right now

People are in denial. There is U$ 250+ trillion in debt floating around. Nobody's going to pay this debt.

The crash is imminent.

When it crashes there won't be time to get out.

What should I do then?

Pay up your credit card debt and any other debt immediately. You will be crushed if you're caught in debt when this new crisis arrives.

If you were planning on spending big on something new, reconsider.

Buy Bitcoin or gold or something that should survive the coming crash.

The banking system is one big ponzi scheme and if the economy slows down the crash is inevitable. The whole system is based on the premise of exponential growth. Growth upon growth, year upon year, quarter upon quarter of composite growth.

There is no way this can work. It's been pushed forward for 10 years now since the 2008 banking heist and now the signs are everywhere. The new crash is imminent. May happen now or in a year, you never know, but it's upon us.

When it happens, do not go to Wall Street with a camping tent and your hippie beard and pretend you weren't warned. "We are the 99%". No shit sherlock, the system is a ponzi meant to enrich the 1% not for you. You were warned.

Traditional banking system is rigged and mechanism was configured for benefits of real owners who has ability to control with financial tools. Sometimes i read about tax system and “fractional-reserve banking” which don't apply same rules stated by financial institutions. Institutionalized crime found the working way to grab people's money with legalized rules. Taxation is legal way for  taking of the property of community.
Central banks will use all possible solutions for protecting current cheated system and this is one of reasons why they don't like Bitcoin.
Unfortunately cryptocurrencies are not feasible solution without mass adoption...
1283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your experiences with Cryptopia (exchange)? on: January 09, 2019, 07:05:12 PM
Hey!

So, here is the deal:
Some of my friends tell me Cryptopia is a solid exchange to trade on. Especially for the smaller coins (not in the top 300),
But, some other friends absolutely hate Cryptopia, they say the UI sucks and it even has scam coins on them.
Both of them have a point, I know the UI isn't the best, but i also know it's good to trade smaller coins on.

I'm wondering, have you ever used this exchange and if yes, would you recommend it?
Looking forward to see some of your replies!

> Netcre

There is no deep liquidity in Cryptopia compared to competitors (Binance,Poloniex).  I still use their exchange starting from last year but withdrawal is  totally headache. Last withdrawal was continued more than 2 day and this was enough to stop trading there. If you know better alternative go for it,for other cases Cryptopia can be useful for small turnover.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: January 09, 2019, 06:54:19 PM
Some of us spend more than 1 hours, but the other people can play in less than 1 hours because they don't think they can easily to win money. And for me, I don't spend much time on online gambling because I only want to relax and enjoy the games although sometimes I feel I have luck in that game. But I never try my luck because I am too afraid and worry if I get a loss, so I decide to play in less than 1 hours, and I think it's enough for me.
Even though it can cost lot of money for you, just need to remember that people lost millions in few minutes so if you really don't want to lose much money then you should have limits on betting.

Mmm yes, I know, but I can try to use small money and so far, it works. I am sure nobody wants to lose Cheesy I am still trying to make a limit as you said because I know that is only my chance to reduce the money I've used. Besides that, I am learning from the other that in gambling, we must control the emotion.
Don't control your emotions, just enjoy what you are feeling from gambling and get used to stay away from the losses if you not enough rich for that.
Small bets also will do work but having selfcontrol about chasing back the losses also important.
It is not about the money and emotional decisions often leads to lose bankroll. Decisions based on logic are smart way to manage risks and finding your edge in gambling requires to stick the plan with fresh mind. For example: You found a bias in roulette table after losing half of your bankroll. Third column has more winning streak randomly more than combination of  first and second columns. Under this conditions dividing your bankroll for betting with this "trick" is smartest decision than putting all money to third column. In this case spreading chips around on different bets can give better returns than any decision based on emotion.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: January 09, 2019, 06:39:39 PM
They can accuse for having multiple accounts and can freeze your account with funds in it,this is one of the recent way of scamming from gambling sites but not all the sites were doing are cheating actually some sites identifies the users abusing their terms and conditions that is why there were freezing their account.
If you check "scam accusation"  board of forum you will get the point about scam gambling sites. Countless scam issues are almost unpreventable if owner doesn't like winners. I mainly don't check  the T&C line by line in order to save my valuable time which can be used for analysis. Account farming is unacceptable because limits are there for a reason. I saw a lot of offers for buying fixed matches with discount but of course they refuse to pay back the lost amount in case of it loss.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: January 09, 2019, 06:30:40 PM
If you have lost over 10 BTC, then what have you won?

You have a problem. You know that 10 BTC is a lot and to think that you gambled it all. I hope you find a way to recover, not the BTC but your emotions. Greediness shouldn't be a factor, especially if you are considering the risk that you are taking. Do not think that you can gamble to recover losses, and it would lead to more losses.
IMO we should not stick to main line of discussion about amount of loss. Maybe op is crypto whale who has more than 100 BTC?
Emotions are big factor in both trading&gambling but mastering yourself can be a exit for next possible loss. I cant see any feasible solution for those who has emotional bias in gambling. Even capacity of managing risk is limited when gambler faced with losing streak.
1287  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin Trading Platform ? on: January 08, 2019, 09:57:02 AM
All this trading platforms serve for single purpose, so goal of a platform is to match buyers with sellers. My proven strategy gives best results in  Binance and Poloniex. Sometimes finding "holy grail" strategy is not enough for success because outcomes aren't same in different platforms. Poloniex lost his reputation after known issues about frozen deposit/withdrawals. My choice is Binance.
1288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders, what are your views in 2019. on: January 08, 2019, 09:49:21 AM
Let's see what new year will bring us. I personally don't expect so much from the change of calendar year but anyway this psychological approach has it's own pros and cons. There are still alive pump&dump gorups, low cap altcoin shillers on social media and top 10% of this hierarchy will continue to grab money from other's pocket. There are more opportunities than we can imagine for possible bull trend that can start during this year.
1289  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coins do you like to trade the most? on: January 08, 2019, 09:09:17 AM
Are you into trading? What coins do you like to trade the most and what's your trading startegy?

I have decent experience in trading but day trading is stressful and less profitable compared to swing trading. Liquidity is main issue for small swaps between altcoins and finding good exchange requires testing bots in different exchanges. Also arbitrage works well in flat charts during red days so no need to look for best strategy if you know what you are looking for.
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Listing Prices on: January 07, 2019, 09:26:04 PM
Hi. I was wondering if you have some ideas on where it would be possible to do a paid coin listing? Maybe someone has a list of exchange listing prices or something like that? I'm looking for some exchange that could generate at least 5K volume per day for a new coin. So far I know CryptoBridge is charging 3 BTC.

I know the following:

CryptoBridge: 3 BTC.
BITIBU: 0.5 BTC.
You can apply for LATOKEN as they have a good volume and I'm not sure for the listing price and i think it's not that expensive. And also you can try to get listed on Bitmart as they have a good volume per day. And also you can achieve more than 5k per day volume if the tokens have demand and real world use case.
New projects don't want to pay for listing in big exchanges. It is not secret information that gigant exchanges charge fees for reserving place for token listing even before ICO. In gold times of cryptocurrency all this steps are understandable but same amounts are not actual anymore under current market conditions. Sometimes i cant understand bounty hunter who cries with fool questions like "when binance" Smiley
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: January 07, 2019, 09:19:31 PM
At first, inexperienced traders shouldn't think about profits, they should spend their time to gain as much knowledge and information about trading. After spending a month or two, they should start trading with a small amount, as they gain more experience they should increase their investment.
For this purpose there are demo accounts or cent accounts which don't push your limits in case of stop-out. 10000 hours of screen time is required in professional trading(big hedge funds). Trading is  considered as business but successful traders are looking for opportunities that hidden in price action.
1292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 errors when buying crypto currency on: January 07, 2019, 09:13:15 PM
Here are the Top 7 mistakes that I have seen people make over the last years. If you don’t make these mistakes you are already better than 99% of all crypto traders
Being emotional.
Not buying low and selling high.
Making all or nothing buys.
Putting all of their eggs in 1 basket.
Invest more that they can afford to lose.
I am sure after reading this article you will start to try to avoid such mistakes.
Experience is sum of all mistakes.Well explained but...
1) Emotions are necessary no matter how it affects to trading decisions.
2) Who defines low and high? What if price come back to test "low" after 5 fake breakout?
3) I want whatever i can get like putting all to red in casino
4) Same rule applies to here but putting money that feeds family is not ok.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some of the best movies based on gambling? on: January 07, 2019, 09:05:11 PM
Boiler Room is perfect example for combination of psychology and odds even though movie is about challenge of traders. I remember well one part from movie that guys talk about how to beat system with logical steps. Long story short, greed is definition about  psychological cause of addiction which drains our pockets. Exclusions happen, but i doubt it in online games. In my opinion there is somehow correlation between skills and zero risk events that happens rarely in gambling.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 07, 2019, 08:54:12 PM
I know people who are greedy but never gamble, they are greedy but at the same time reasonable.
Greedy people will go for gambling more frequently and due to the reason of sticking with gambling they may get addicted not just due to the reason of being greedy. But, being greedy is the core reason why they are gambling and finally getting addiction.

Something very few people say is that many addicts have a big ego, their addiction come from this, their ego cannot handle the fact that they lost money, so they always end up chasing their losses. You can easily spot them in casinos.
When greedy people are challenging houses for making more profit, those aggressive people are challenging gambling houses for recovering their losses. At the bottom line, if you have emotion failure while gambling and you cannot control yourself then addiction is the result. No one could escape from this. Being ego is also kind of emotion failure. But, it is a new thing being discussed in gambling board hence need more information regarding this before for sharing what exactly it should be.

the danger thing always there for us to solve we need to solve them with our mind and control if we were not ready for that we cannot definitely get into gambling field because it will always be like that if you had the ability to overcome you can definitely do it.
Greed is dangerous in gambling for those who want to control limits of his/her luck. At the end all this emotions are connected to theory of  gambler's fallacy. Minds are limited to experience, imagination, logic. Logic doesn't let gamblers to lose control when things turn against your plan that contains both money management and possibilty of outcome.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: January 06, 2019, 07:26:36 PM
Addiction is bad for those who wanna to win back lost amount. The mechanism works flawless in gambling industry which customers come to beat it Smiley The sum of win/lose will be zero, that is the main reason we call it zero-sum game. Your loss amount is someone's winning. I advice to think twice before entering to casino if someone wanna to risk the hard earned money which he saved during months.
1296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is not your fault that you are loosing in trading! on: January 06, 2019, 07:05:50 PM
that's a good thought. Because most traders lose money because they are not careful in financial management. that's true, most of them invest with emotion and don't know how to cut losses.
This is also a great lesson for traders who failed in 2018.
Financial management is part of whole story, real image is bigger than what we thought. It isn't about "cutting losses" so traders are depend on volatility which happens via unknown factors.

Imo, every lose on trading is trader fault. Yeah i lose a lot too in trading, i already do analyze and etc but still lose. I can't blame market or other thing such as something 'unexpected', its just me not doing more deep analyze and too greedy with profit. With this, i can easily learn from my mistakes and thats how trader should do in my opinion.

We can't blame anyone but ourselves if we either lose or win. Those unexpected events is beyond our control so obviously, we can't do anything about it.

And as how much or how deep our analysis of the market, it might do on other directions because this market is based on speculation plus there's the factor of manipulation as well. In addition if we did mistakes in the past so let that be a lesson and hope that we learn something out of it so that we won't repeat. So best of luck to all traders this 2019.
Cryptocurrency trading is different level than other financial markets. Spot markets(forex) are considered as controllable by banking institutions compared to cryptocurrency which volatility is higher than sum of whole movements of  stock market. Financial institutions hire best economists for keeping under control economical events because system is created by them.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Nobody wins in gambling anyway on: January 06, 2019, 06:50:19 PM
for some gamblers they  need to make profit and have set their goals over the casino.
The problem is that those gamblers could be counted using one hand in this community. Barely everyone win something try to win the double, and everyone losing try to win in the next game which end up by huge losses for all of them.
Knowing when to stop is important but few people listen to their minds not their emotion!
I am agree with your opinion: Mindset matters! Emotions will not let gamblers to apply rules stated in "gambling ideas". If odds are not in your favor it isn't good idea to continue with illusions appeared  by environmental conditions.  Risk management is key, this is especially true in roulette, blackjack. House always wins no matter how good gambler is.That is the main reason why gambling industry is known like one of few business types that grows with minimal risks.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 06, 2019, 06:40:03 PM
It is obviously known fact that ethereum is best tool in order to get idea about altcoins and new projects(ICO). Almost  altcoin prices are depend on one factor which stabilize this change. In my opinion this year a lot of altcoins will disappear due to low marketcap and decreasing interest but ethereum will keep it's role in this industry till get replaced with better alternative.
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ETH REWARD BASED BOUNTY] 🚀 IOVO ⚡ ❗ 350 ETH + 5M $ worth of IOVO Tokens❗ on: January 03, 2019, 09:00:07 PM
In telegram group @iammart said this
"Look at the current market situation, people are afraid to invest because everything is unstable. If IOVO would have the ICO now it would not reach the softcap, not many projects would. If it doesn’t reach the softcap it cannot operate. Tokens do not even exist yet, they get made during ICO. So would you rather have IOVO held a poor ICO now and have a worthless token because it was rushed?"
You can see here the message

He said "It got extended." for the ico and bounty..

So? Will the team make ico according to whether the market is good or bad? A confident team shouldn't do that. They must progress independently of the market.  No team in the ICO collects USD. They are raising funds as eth or Btc. Which means they have to be independent from the market ...
