Why just to newbies? You talk like its easy to know when the price is low and high, well its not. I bought many times and expected price to go up, price went down, many times I sold on some price but I could wait more and make better profit, doing a right trade in a right time is for many of us mission impossible. Its not about control of emotions I have a cool head just my predictions are not so accurate even thou I study market every day, I read a lot about everything. I wonder about what kind of guidance you mean here, its always good when there is someone to tell you what to do, and to give special information's about what will happen next in altcoin world.

It will be accepted by many governments, but not from all that is what I think, some countries will always try to separate from others. Bitcoin is really accepted now more then ever before, but due high price people are getting interested in other altcoins. I follow altcoin section a lot, and I noticed that some coins have very devoted community behind them, cause of all this I think that some alts also have nice future behind bitcoin, as bitcoin grow some alts will grow as well.

Maybe yesterday price was stable, today high 2,640.84$ and low 2,556.82 $, almost a hundred dollars difference, I don`t think that something like that can be called stable. I agree with some members above, day or two without some big changes doesn`t mean a thing, I`m also sure that bitcoin will surprise us very soon again, good or bad is yet to be seen, I know that bitcoin is capable for both.
My prediction is that we will have quiet summer, for 1 August everyone knows already, and like someone said, when everyone knows about it when its priced already, cause of all that I don`t expect some big changes before October.

I can say for my self that with bitcoins I discovered gambling more then ever before. I was weekend player and I never had wish to try something more then betting on sports or some poker with friends with small buy-in tournaments. We need to define what the strongest currency means, is it how many people are using it, or how much 1 bitcoin worth to people around the world. Bitcoin can be the strongest currency in the world one day, but for now bitcoin is growing and for me confirmations should be much faster, and fees to return where they were and only like that bitcoin can prosper. If we don't see this changes then bitcoin will be a rich people currency, and yes bitcoin will be the strongest currency but it will not be available for all the people.

I usually bet once per day, if there is Champions League then couple times per week, but never more then once in one day. And I bet on single matches mostly, or two max per bet slip, I don`t like to complicate my bets. I don`t chase for profit so much in sports betting, I prefer small and safe odds, then high and almost impossible odds. Pretty much I think the same, when I can use bitcoins to pay for different things, to gamble with it, to exchange it for another currencies on many places, then bitcoin looks more like digital currency then digital gold. Can we expect lower fees after activation of segwit or that is just my wish? Price like a price will go up, with every new update we see that price is going up, as I understand with segwit we will have faster confirmations, better network, but at the moment I care about fees, and I try to find something over the net but I just encountered on more same questions how long before these fees come down? and similar.

Its not meaningless if its have effects on many people. You didn't read my post good enough, understanding life and living a life are two different things, in life you build yourself and your characteristics, your skills, your attitudes and that can have positive influence on your gambling, and I already explained that. This young guy, yes he is very young for me even with his 18, at the moment had opportunity and he grabbed it, what he done later is his business, if he is a millionaire he done a great job, we need to give him credit for that. I'm optimistic about bitcoin future, price is something else, predicting when will price go up or down is hard with bitcoin, not that I'm always wrong, I'm always late, I know we will see rise but that rise come late, I know about drop but it happen weeks after I thought it will. Panic is never good for nothing, so that is not recommended, cool head always make better decisions.

This question made me to think for a moment about it, I`m sure that for gambling you need to have some life experience, it`s not good to build your life on gambling experience, do you understand? I sold my litecoins on 19 mbtc, I made a nice profit with litecoins and for me this rise was expected, we talk about it here for months that price will go up. My first litecoins were bought for 3 mbtc, and I`m not greedy with trading, better something then nothing. I`m more concentrated now on some other much cheaper coins for now I can say just thank you to litecoin for nice profit, and if price drop I will buy litecoins again.


Holding for long term looks like a good thing to do with most altcoins, no matter what some people say prices shows much more. Maybe litecoin price can touch 250$ one day, but I needed money now. Like I`m always saying some people can wait, some can`t.

What a parallel you made between Yahoo and bitcoin is unbelievable, and I need to agree with many others that it's possible for bitcoin to end up like yahoo, that is a fact, with bitcoin anything is possible.
Internet search and possible currency are two different things, and even if its possible I don't think we will see this scenario, in our case bitcoin is the coin that needs to be easier to use, with more options then any other coin. I never used yahoo, I starter to use internet and google right away in my time, google was much better and easier to use.

Why it's not profitable? People mine different alts and prices went very high, plus when you sell this coins for bitcoin that worth a lot I can't see why wouldn't you have profit with mining.
This news about Russia is the sane I heard for my country recently, shortage of good graphic cards is happening in many towns in my country. Even when they say how new one are coming they are sold in first hour.
It's becoming very profitable to mine some alt, especially if that alt have a future and if price can skyrocket then some guys will become millionaires very soon. Even I'm thinking about mining some coin, but I'm not sure in my self.
