1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BMW announcement on: February 05, 2018, 08:15:46 PM
First time I hear for Dovu and I must admit that headline attracted me, of course BMW attracts all mens why would this forum be different. I'm searching about this DOVU token, a token that you earn and spend by sharing the way you travel. I like to travel, I drive a car and this looks so interesting to me.
20 cent's at the moment and just 12 million dollars market cap, volume almost nothing 28k and you can buy it on just two sites HitBTC and EtherDelta.
I have one question for people who knows more about it, why circulating supply is 63 millions and total supply is 963 millions, where are the tokens? Price is cheap so I will think about buying some cause of the great idea, but I will search more for some answers and maybe some of you can help me, thanks in advance.
1602  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 05, 2018, 05:16:35 PM
In my country corruption has become an inevitable social phenomenon, and very difficult to overcome.
The presence of bitcoin in my opinion brings hope that has a definite purpose, with a blockhain system that is believed to automatically execute, confirm and store transactions in the public database.
With a system blockhain every transaction will be a public directory and the supervisor will easily record the money that has been out.
I am sure if in all governments use a system like blockhain, it will at least reduce corruption.
Its jot just your county, mine too, and many others. Look around what ever you wish to do you need money to pay, and with more money you can pay everyone and only like that things can run smoothly. In this case I don't know about about bitcoin, its decentralized but how much? We need open and decentralized network, we need transparency, we need combination of this two but to be safe from this parties interfering. Can bitcoin do this for us? Most of us saw that 'bitcoin be your own bank with cheap transactions' but what happened last year shakes my believes. Blockchain is good, but will bitcoin be the one that can save people from corruption or some other altcoin or nsome new coin we will see, its too early to give any prognosis.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you trust the newspapers again ? on: February 05, 2018, 03:00:45 PM
You wrote his name wrong in the thread. Anyway, the newspaper probably got some leaked info from a source they thought to be reliable and wrote about it to be the first. When you don't spend enough time to confirm the news you usually end up like they did.
I've read that he's not going to be transferred. If the club is officially denying it then it just has to be true. I've read that according to rumors they don't have enough money this year to be able to afford him.

This is the problem with some news writers.  They always jump with exaggeration before confirming the validity of the news of their informant.  The same thing happen to our national television, a news station telling news about some event which eventually proven to be wrong.  Aside from that, News at the internet often times used as click bait for a blogers article.   Anyway, I wonder what would be the penalty of someone giving wrong news.
Gone are the days when the truth really matter when it comes to journalism but nowadays these journalist are just throwing stories out there without any credibility whatsoever, that is why their reputations are all going down the drain nowadays. They have no respect whatsoever.
Personally I don't believe in that says when everything was truthful. I agree with Pixie here, this is what usually happens when journalist don't verify his source and he just publish something stupid. Either that or they are just pumping the price, like this player is very interesting to big clubs, he is receiving many offer's and stuff like that.
I stopped believing in news long time ago, usually I don't believe until I see with my own eyes or hear from someone I trust, and there is less and less trusted people. In sports this things happens more and more often, so I'm not surprised with this. Let's see what will happen I'm next few days, it will be interesting to see.
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: February 05, 2018, 01:07:27 PM
In particular, forms that ask for the same information as your wallet address and private key on your google form are strictly fraudulent.
When ever someone ask you for more info than usual, that should sound an alarm in your head.  New icos that ask for more then your address are trying to take info about you that they can use for robbing you later, or making some purchase in your name.
I use this forum to check is some ico is a scam or not, other than that I use my common sense when I read their white paper and road map, if they promise too much I am running out, if not I think its OK. There is no other way to check new ico , maybe if you know development personally that changes everything.
1605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: king of all coins on: February 04, 2018, 06:23:33 PM
I earned good from ripple, I sold on top, that doesn't happens all the time but with ripple I had good luck and very good profit, I sold at +3$. I doubt that some altcoin like ripple can replace bitcoins, some people say its bank altcoin, I don't know how much truth there is in that rumor. Anyway there are to many ripple coins in circulation, to many to even think that they can replace bitcoins. You should try with some other coin's. For now I don't think that some altcoin can replace bitcoin, I'm not sure is that coin created or needs to be created in future.
1606  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there interest for bitcoin gift cards? on: February 04, 2018, 05:31:28 PM
If you wish to do a good job then you need to offer bitcoin and other altcoins gift cards. I would be interested in buying such cards like presents for some close people I know, in that case I would like more expensive gift cards, and some cheap ones for people I know and I wish to give them a ticket for this crypto world.
Idea is great and I think there was similar ideas in the past. Every start is hard but if you are dedicated maybe you can do something more and start some good business. I will follow this topic and if you start with crypto gift cards I will be one of your first customers. Good luck my friend, if I don't see your start feel free to PM me.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: February 04, 2018, 04:15:29 PM
You don`t have many gamblers on this forum, you have more people that like to talk about it and get paid for that talk rather then gamble. I have fun while I gamble cause I like to gamble, with money its fun without money it is just a games for kids, with other words without money involved you just don`t have that feeling, that thrill, that is the best explanation you can get. You have many `gambling games` that you can play for free, but that is just not that feeling for me, its like I`m  wasting my time and energy for nothing.
People who are not gambling like to talk about gambling and they are gambling for fun even thought they are not gambling? Now that is very interesting. Also this topic was specifically made to ask players who are gambling only for fun something, in case you missed last line in topic, so  as far as I am concerned whoever is posting here is gambling. So what's your point anyway? You are not gambling, you only like to talk how you are gambling for fun because you will get paid for post? Is that it?  Roll Eyes
Do what you like to do, and let others do what they like to do. What you have against gambling?
Calm down, I don't have anything against gambling(I actually like gambling and chance to win big money and be in that rare circle of luckiest people), I am just trying to figure out something. Roll Eyes

People who are not gambling like to talk about gambling and they are gambling for fun even thought they are not gambling?
In first line you made a mistake, even if my comment is directly above you. READ ONCE AGAIN WHAT I WROTE. Why are you obsessed with others people lives? You don't have yours so you like to talk what others like to do? Your examples doesn't worth nothing to me, cause you don't know what you are talking about, its like you wish to talk about sex but you never had it, or you just saw it on TV and now you think you are sex master after watching few porn movies haha. You are funny malboroza, you really are, now I will go to play a bit slots maybe I will lose maybe I will win something big, you never know, but its what I like to do, is it so hard to understand that?
What ever you wish to find out ask directly, its much easier. I'm calm, don't worry about me.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5k to invest in crypto . on: February 04, 2018, 12:11:45 PM
hey guys , i have 5k to invest , i dont know which coins or token should i invest in , i think i missed the party , because most of the coins price is too high right now , what do you guys think , iam planing to hold untill mid 2019 , i want to get profit like 500k , i know its big number , but i heard alotta ppl did that b4 , thank you .

Buy 5000 stellar and 5000 cardano, that is around 5.000$ approximately, wait couple years and you will be close to million. This is not just some empty story, I'm investing in both of this coins and I think they will have a ncmice future. Problem with this coins in my opinion is that there are too many coins in circulation, but with big demand this coins can rise to some point, that's why it's better to buy them now when they are half a dollar, just half a dollar.
1609  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 03, 2018, 07:09:20 PM
THe more risk you take, the more money you will have. Just try to invest your money in something like bitcoin and real estate and I can say that you will double your capital in less than 3 years. Saving money is good, but the value of your balance will decrease very year due to the inflation
More risk always generate more profit, people on this forum knows that better then other people, I am sure in that. Cause that sentence is repeated here more then any other sentence. We should find some way to check that out, if there is any.
I'm always for investing, when market is going down pull your money out and wait, now when its rising put the money back in, you will have a lot of profit just from that, and to not mention to pick right coins your profit can be measured with hundreds. I'm not against savings, that is alright, but that should come after setting up some profit makers, I see that clear now. It's not matter how or with what it's important that money is coming and only then you can put something on a side and invest more.
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What stage of adoption is Crypto currently at? on: February 03, 2018, 02:02:15 PM
Just wanted to know where you guys think we are. Are we still in the early adoption stage?

At what stage of the dot com era would you put us at? Dial up lol?

Definitely not. Most people already know what cryptocurrency is. Even my friends at uni are already talking about and have a chat group for it LOL. This is unheard of in 2013. Take a look at this picture

I think we're already at stage 4 — maturity. People who joined recently are considered late majority. One thing, I really hope we don't have to see the decline of cryptocurrency in our lifetime. There are still a lot of things to be developed in crypto, a lot of innovation could be made, so that cycle of adoption could always be renewed/revised.
This infographic is worth little next to zero without at least one real scale reference.
Let's take time factor and add current 10 years as a scale of reference.
We quickly realise that its pointless, this would mean that cryptos are already over, we know this is not true.
Besides two years per stage seem like to small sample ergo bad science.
This is very advanced tech we are talking about here, we have to treat it, just like the computer industry.
Look how many years where needed to achieve 1computer per household (we are not there yet - but close) and correlate this to blockchain in fintech...Now, lets use 100 years scale, this would lead us to 10-20years per phase and now, now its starts look more real, more connected with our reality. We are still in the phase1. or at least that's my opinion.

Between stage 1 and stage 2, early developing, researching and introduction. We are not far from that, bitcoin is maybe one stage faster then the others but they are all still here, do you see how bitcoin is dropping and others are following.
With 100 years scale we are at the beginning, and all people here are early adopters, its how I see this situation and global adoption. Maybe many people heard about it, but many more will have to join. And look at the bitcoin, last year after so many people joined we had network breakdown, transaction fees to the moon, networks couldn't handle all this new people, there is so much work to be done more, we are at the start of it.

1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you play for fun using real money? on: January 31, 2018, 11:15:42 AM
I always wonder why do people say "I am gambling for fun and not for the money".

Why do you use money at all to gamble? There are plenty gambling sites in which you can easily play with fun money, play money or "whatever it is called" money.

Why do you use money to gamble for fun?

Whoever is gambling for fun using real money please reply and be honest.
You don`t have many gamblers on this forum, you have more people that like to talk about it and get paid for that talk rather then gamble. Ok guys, almost all of you said that you are gambling only for fun.
Let me ask you this:
If gambling is entertainment industry as you claim it is, why is it banned in some countries?
Countries don't like to people have fun, is that it?
They don't like when people are happy?
Strange.
Why bitcoin is banned in some countries? And in some its not? Why marijuana is banned in some countries? And in some its not? Why gay marriage is banned in some countries? And some its not? Do you think governments think about people happiness? Do you think that all the laws and regulations are fair?
Do what you like to do, and let others do what they like to do. What you have against gambling?
1613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wiil bitcoin price raise up again? on: January 30, 2018, 11:22:52 PM
try to stay calm and do not panic, because the panic will make you regret. You should try to see the current market price movement, the price is still on the rise and seems to be going back to before the panic that happened a few days ago.

Definitely! And try to be open in many other opportunities that involves or related with coins. We all know that bitcoin is valuable coins and it is incredible. I may go through ups and downs but it will continue to exists by moving its value up. Just learn to be patient and see how bitcoin will rise up again.
Bitcoin will rise again, I am waiting for that high price too. Its not a question will it rise, in that most of us are sure, question is when, and how long it will take for price to recover firstly and to rise more then ever before, after recovering. I think that january is always slow month, its normal for everything to slow down, but we will see market rising soon after winter ends. Many of us expending hot summer with many prices going up, not just bitcoin I see many other prices going up together with bitcoins.
1614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: January 30, 2018, 07:58:44 PM
If you are holding for long time you'll not look at the price now. Just be patient and the price will rise again.
Not looking for the price are may help you to be more relax and what may your mind will always take for is to have a lot of patience and staying calm for even that there is a lot of movement that may cause in panic .
We all need to relax, not just newbies. I see many higher ranked people speaking about panic selling cause the end is near. I wouldn`t like to use some hard words against them, but that is really silly to think about bitcoin
after all this time. Bitcoin is now widely accepted, and in many countries bitcoin is regulated with some kind of laws, that got to mean something, right? With that many companies are accepting bitcoins or they thinking about spreading that to more crypto currencies, what ever is happening its going good for bitcoin and we need to relax and wait everything to come in the right time.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it easy to predict the price of Bitcoin in a near future? on: January 28, 2018, 09:43:20 AM
No one can predict and know what may happen next. It is a little bit miracle if you notice or knew what can happen next especially on the price of bitcoin. Just be patient by yourself and wait for the perfect timing.
Except the ones who manipulate with markets all over the world, they know what will happen next cause they are organizers of  the future events. Patience and waiting are great for holders, but if you are not a holder then what you need patience for? For predicting the price movement you need informations from almost everywhere, every big change that comes has to start somewhere. Its not easy to find clues in all this mess, too many people work on deceiving you, so read everything and learn to trust your instincts, it`s not easy to read the market but with a lot of practice you will be better and better in that.
1616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have you learned in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 27, 2018, 07:12:54 AM
Due to the fact that the crypto markets are not as liquid as other traditional financial markets, there is a bigger element of manipulation going on by the whales and other big fish trading cryptos. I often times see one coin being controlled in price by just one or two big whales and they do as they like to make the price benefit them and take many smaller fish down by their tactics. I have also seen more FUD AND FOMO buys and sells arriving in the crypto trading space, even worse and bigger than in traditional markets.
Even after so much time spent I can't say that I learned to trade. Its not something that you can learn just like that, to many unknowns in trading, we deal with many informations and analyzing them in seconds and making decision is not exact since. Sounds like I learned that with trading anything can happen.
Crypto is crypto, there are many people here without any knowledge and ota easy to manipulate with them, that is why markets are so vulnerable to manipulations of any kind. Be ready for impossible is my advice for people who enter in crypto trading.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie to Altcoins on: January 27, 2018, 12:17:28 AM
Thanks guys for your advice on Altcoins.
Maybe my question didnt cover enough or wasnt specific enough but i can work with almost all the advice you gave me. My main goal is investing/trading.Correct me if im wrong.. but it seems like impossible to predict this market Shocked
If your goal is engage in trading/investing, I think you have to research first on how trading works because you cannot just invest and trade your capital if you do not know how this thing works. To become a profitable trader you have to know your market first, whether it is bitcoin, alts, stocks you have to gather information before you start a transaction. If it's really your passion to become a trader then make it your way to learn and be a professional trader. If you want to invest, just invest what you can afford to lose.
Truth is that he needs to work a lot with all this. We are all newbies here, some of us have more experience, but truth is that everything is new for us, new icos, new coins, new markets, new possibilities, everything is new
and there is a world that waits to be explored. More you explore more things you will learn, more you can earn, everything seems impossible until you get there and with work and lot of time invested you can get almost
everywhere. In this process you need to be ready for downfalls, its natural things and that happens, be strong get up learn more, earn more and like that in circles until you earn enough for pension.
1618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best exchange site for Altcoins? on: January 26, 2018, 08:29:30 AM
I'm on poloniex for a year already, maybe a bit less and I'm more then satisfied with them, I never had a single problem with them. Maybe I'm a small wish and I don't have bags of money so I always do things smoothly no matter do I deposit or withdraw.
Good choice of coins at poloniex, there are good pairs with btc and ETH who likes to trade like that. I use that option sending btc is expensive so ETH jump in very good when I need to deposit or withdraw, I started to use eth more often.
1619  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Headed to $40,000? on: January 25, 2018, 11:32:07 AM
No one can guess and predict what will happen next. But im hoping that it will be risen up to $100,000.
We can't predict future, but we can hope for much higher price then 40.000$ and most od us hope for that. I think even 100.000$ sounds reasonable, bitcoin didn't see touch top there are so many things that can happen in future that can push price up to some new ath-s. I think that the most important thing is that bitcoin is going up all this years, and I think of will continue to go up, some tomes slowly sometimes fast, but it is a good way to top.
1620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: January 25, 2018, 01:32:33 AM
You really trust cryptos that much that you decided to focus on working on it rather than having it as a sort of sideline only...I think this is quite good if you were able to master the trading market and has large amount of capital otherwise I don't think you will succeed. Crypto currency are really unpredictable and risky to be focus for regular income generations and I'm not confident enough to do the same stuff
Good thing about exchange sites and trading on their platforms is that they work all the time, so we can trade in anytime. There is always couple free hours that can be spend on trading, cause of that its great to combine any work with trading. I'm doing that, I'm not a day trader, but I have many coins that I hold and sell when I think that I make enough profit, I try to sell on tops and buy again in dips, I combine that perfectly with my current job and I will continue to do that, it works fine for me.
