1941  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your favorite trading exchange ? on: September 05, 2017, 06:53:39 AM
Hi all,

What is your favorite trading exchange ?
Why do you prefer this exchange ?
Do you trade only with your PC or do you use your smartphone also ?

Thanks  Wink

My favorite is poloniex, cause I use that one. Why do I prefer it, well after yobit I was looking for trusted exchanger, with high trading volume and with many altcoins. I trade just on laptop, when I check prices I like to check important news and other things, its never just price watching.
But now I have dilemma about new exchanger, I plan to buy IOTA or Waves coins. One is on bittrex other bitfinex, I will need to open account and buy coin I wish, but which exchanger and which coin?! I'm thinking and thinking and I feel I'm not sure yet what to do.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Waves vs IOTA on: September 04, 2017, 07:13:00 PM
I didn`t invest in this two coins yet, I would like to buy one of this coins, or maybe both I`m not sure yet. I have around 70 mBTC which is close to 350$ at the moment.
Waves is currently traded for $4.43 (-13.74%)
IOTA                                    $0.618832 (-15.67%)
Bot are going down at the moment, and I like to buy in dips. But which of this two coins is best investment for the long term holding, lets say year or more. Recently I watched few videos on you tube, some guys are predicting crypto market and they are like very experienced in trading most of them have good words about IOTA and theymos here in his thread about alt-coins mentioned IOTA- as one coin that have some technical innovations.
What is the best thing to do, I would like to hear your opinion about this two coins and their future. I will make my decision in next couple days, I don`t plan to wait too much. Thanks for all suggestions.
1943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin top 5000$ on: September 04, 2017, 10:36:59 AM

I was thinking that regardless of the prediction, maybe the 5000$ will work as a hardcore mental barrier... And pop the bubble.

Same barrier we had on 1000$, you are newbie and maybe you wasn`t here to feel it, but you can find threads and comments from that time and you will see what I`m talking about. Bitcoin market fall down for couple billions and now price is going down. But the same way the money is going out we come to a point when it goes back in, billions of dollars move the price of bitcoin.

...aaaaand Goldman Sachs was right Sad
Looks like we are heading towards a 20% correction or so.

Who didn`t expect this to happen? But price will go up again and before new year many things can happen, I`m optimist when it comes to price of bitcoin. Price already went up a lot in past few months, little break couple more good news after will push price higher then ever before. Goldman was right now, short term prediction nothing more, after every peak there comes a dip most people here knows that, but predicting price in long term is much more harder.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] BitDice ICO - ICO Of The Biggest Crowdfunded Casino With 2300Ƀ Profit on: September 04, 2017, 08:18:10 AM
Bounty portal to check twitter stakes coming?

Stakes will be calculated by the team and updated on the sheet. At this time no portal is on the way I think. Participants just need to make sure I get their ETH addresses.

On the bounty thread didn't you said to give ETH address after the ICO ?

Yeah and it proves difficult, I added an extra spot on the spreadsheets. Those who haven't given their ETH address yet should do so ASAP.

I understand that you are very busy this days BoXXoB, just to say I wrote couple time in this thread with questions about where to give you our ETH addresses, and in one moment I did it here with info about my username in your spreadsheat:

Now I filled application again, all informations are the same except number of followers. Here is my address again:

-This is my ETH address :  0xCf9B2Fe3C1DCcc0386F43923b1987C80A70Ac04E

1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On Which device do you Gamble? on: September 03, 2017, 08:22:06 PM
I use lap-top, tablet and mobile. Here I need to admit that lately when I play poker on mobile or tablet I play on 888 for dollars, their android application is one of the best. I use puffin browser sometimes to play poker on betcoin.ag but its not so simple, everything is so little and puffin is not so easy to use on mobile, its a bit easier on tablet, but I don`t have tablet with me all the time.
The best gambling is from lap-top, when I gamble I connect it with tv and I have really big picture and I can sit in my chair and play from there, that is most comfortable, but I have nothing against playing few fast hands when I`m on some break, or I need to sit in some cafe and wait something, I use their wi-fi and play, that is more interesting for me then to do something else.
1946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: September 03, 2017, 02:40:27 PM
For me as long as I get a 40%- 50% profit, that is the time I sell my coin. Still small though because I'm still practicing with a 150k sats.

This is good advice, with higher amounts you can be satisfied even with 20-30% profit. I like to make higher profit and I pick coins that can make big rise in long term. Decision when to sell depends from many factors, but most important one is how much profit you to make with specific coin. Have in mind when you pick a coin for trading how much that coin can rise and in what time frame, for some investment you need to wait.
Practicing is the best way to learn something, start with small amounts and trade until you become better and better, only then invest more and start to trade with more serious amounts.
1947  Economy / Gambling / Re: Experiment: 1% profit daily gambling over 90 days (91 days exactly) on: September 03, 2017, 12:06:10 PM
I don't see how this is even an experiment, gambling is not just one game, and trading can be done on many ways. You wish to show something before you even start your experiment, you need to be objective and expect different result, what if you make more on gambling? When you do experiment you do it with intention to prove something, you need to try many variables, you need to try to test your theory under different circumstances.. experiments need to be far more serious then your start.
Bitsler is good site, but which games you plan to play? Also how do you plan to trade? Dices are not good game for your test, and if you just hold your 3 mbtc you will make profit in 3 months when price of bitcoin rises. This, lets call it `experiment`, will prove nothing. I wish you good luck and I would like you to make profit with trading and gambling, that would be the best result of this show.
1948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin Portfolio for 3-5 Years - You're Welcome. on: September 03, 2017, 12:58:51 AM
Great picks! I like how you arrange it, I like waves, ripple, lisk and litecoin, iota is something I wish to buy cause its very mentioned in past few months. Its good to have a bit from everything and in long run your list will definitely bring you a good profit.
I also plan to hold some altcoins, and I have some from this list and would like to expand my list with some new coins and to buy more of some that I already have. Slowly I'm building my portfolio, that started to be very popular here.
1949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 02, 2017, 04:17:49 PM
I said it more then once here, I tried day trading and I wasn`t good at it. Now I buy and hold some alt-coins, if I see that I`m in good profit I sell if not I hold for longer. If alt-coin is going down I buy more, I did that with ripple twoo weeks ago, when ripple touched 3k satoshis I bought more on that amount.
Some coins will worth much more next year then now, so some coins are for holding and buying more when ever I can. If coin have some peak I sell and buy again when price falls. That is mistake I made with litecoin, I sold on 0.019 btc and I should enter again when price touched 0.011 btc but I thought it will fall a bit more before it went up. I was late for that train, that is good example how you can trade and make profit, it requires risking.
1950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is BTC going on bearish trend now? on: September 02, 2017, 02:38:19 PM
For now it is a minor correction, but I would keep an eye on things over the next few days. The market is due for a major correction sooner or later. Personally, I am pretty shocked it has risen so much in so little time. I expected a major correction to happen sooner.
It's minor correction no doubt and it is bound to happen every time an asset makes a new ATH, especially around a psychological level as people can't help not taking profit. For now, the only thing standing in the way of Bitcoin is the proposed hard fork billed for November and about that time is when the major correction should be expected, until then the ride is still on!

I think many of us are surprised with this year price increase. Who thought that we will be close to 5.000$ this year? I didn't, after 1.000$ I thought we will climb to 2.000$ until the end of this year, but we passed 2 and 3 thousand dollars very fast, holding 4k for wekks and now rise close to 5k. There 4 months before end of this year, and little drops bitcoin price will increase more. I started to believe in predictions 10k before new year, now that's seems very possible.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Posting/Sharing gambling related topics & news in facebook on: September 01, 2017, 01:54:38 PM
I share all that on my twitter account, I'm not hiding my gambling activities from anyone, I usually brag around when I win, when I lose I complaint so people close to me knows what I do, and how lucky I was or not in gambling.
Don't hide what you are doing, if parents can forbid you to gamble then you are not old enough to gamble in first place so stop it. If you are gambling too much, and that is making problem's to your social life take a break. If friends don't support you then stop sharing that on your accounts, some people like to hear and read about gambling and others hate that, make new profile and find friends that like to gamble like you.
1952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fee can be resolved? on: September 01, 2017, 11:58:44 AM
The higher the coin value, the higher the commission. I think this is right, because bitcoin brings very good profits in contrast to other currencies and this justifies a high commission.

Its not right! Do you earn so much in bitcoins that you can pay 10$ transaction fee? About whom you are talking? And what is with people who decide to join here and buy some bitcoins? Do you see that picture? A person buy 50$ worth of bitcoins and decide to gamble with it, or trade, and what's happen? He send amount to casino/exchange site and his amount there is 37$?Huh What?! Why would he use bitcoins? He didn't start yet but he is in 13$ minus.
High fees are not good for mass adoption, if we wish to see that transaction fees need to be normal and like in beginning cheaper then banks. But with current fees just very rich people and criminal's cab pay this high fees. Nothing justify a high commission.
1953  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500,000 per Bitcoin, baby. The math behind it. on: September 01, 2017, 05:34:12 AM
Looking at the current events I am beginning to believe in your prediction, hope this continues Grin

This will continue, don't worry about that. After bitcoin price rise, and I mean this year rise from 500 to 4700 dollars many people saw how much bitcoin can cost in the future. Before there was talking about how bitcoin price is suppressed and that someone is holding price to not go up to early, it was question can bitcoin hold high price at all. For years bitcoin is growing, gathering power and now we saw a demonstration of it, and its not over, that's why we believe that bitcoin can cost a lot one day. We are just little part of world population and yet bitcoin is already so strong, what will happen when half of the world enter in crypto? We can just imagine.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: August 31, 2017, 09:37:41 PM
I gamble cause it brings me excitement, and I like it. I like almost all gambling games, with more money I would gamble more then I gamble now, but I know my limits, or better to say my financial situation. There is always a chance for earning nice money on gambling, that is also one of the things why I like gambling, spent time on gambling can be fun, interesting and in end if its profitable I can say I had great night.
Gambling should be fun in the end, and I try to look at gambling like that. I lost money many times, but that is money that I would spend in any case, so I don`t worry, but many times I won a lot in gambling and I gamble cause i wish to feel the same again, and more trying and playing means more chances.
1955  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Pumping 5000$ ? on: August 31, 2017, 08:13:27 AM
ya it's will go to up 5000$ but if u want small profit then u can buy. or u can look to some other coin

5000$ is around the corner, profit is small if you buy now and sell soon, holding for longer time can bring more profit. I'm looking at another coins, many of us here do, some of them will have success. Even Tymos created thread where he mentioned couple altcoins that have good technical specifications.
I don't agree with headline, this current bitcoin price is not a pump and dump. Price is rising cause of many things, demand is going up with legalization in some countries. Many things happened this year, we saw segwit activation, and that is not even completed yet.
People here should look for everything, onlyblike that you can catch right moment for buying bitcoin or other altcoins.
1956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which strategy is the safest investment? lending or holding btc. on: August 31, 2017, 05:20:40 AM
I think the Safest one is holding it, since the momentum is high as of now, you should hold and wait for it until you meet the desired amount of bitcoin you wanted, Lending seems very unsafe for me.

Holding will make him more rich in dollars, with lending he can earn more with bitcoins and have even more in dollars. Its safer to hold what you have, but with risk you have possibility to earn. Poloniex have lending platform, there isn`t much complaining about their service, personally I didn`t try it yet, I like to trade/hold with altcoin and gamble more, which is riskier then holding and lending.
1957  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: August 30, 2017, 06:40:07 PM
Bitcoin price has outperformed every reserve and fiat currency across the world year to date, yet again. By outperforming the US dollar by over 30 percent, Bitcoin surpassed the growth of the Mexican Peso, Silver, Gold and Russian Ruble to become the best performing currency so far in 2017.

Thus far, 2017 has been a successful year for both Bitcoin investors and alternative cryptocurrency (altcoin) traders, with leading altcoins or crypto assets such as Ethereum achieving a $5 bln market cap in early April. The Bitcoin market, however, experienced some major changes in its ecosystem earlier this year. The major driving force of Bitcoin price in 2017 is suspected to be the resolution of the Bitcoin network’s current scalability problems.

The Bitcoin network’s one MB cap on block size is causing Blockchain congestion, a drastic increase in fees at times and long confirmation times. If Bitcoin scalability issues are addressed within this year, with innovative solutions such as Bitcoin Core’s Segregated Witness (SegWit), Andrew Lee’s Extension Blocks or other potential emerging solutions, Bitcoin price will most likely demonstrate an exponential mid and long-term increase.

Would you invest in BTC this year?

I think it's too late to invest in bitcoin. Since the price of one coin is too high and no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

I heavily disagree with your statement. It is never too late to invest into bitcoin since due to its volatility in the price, the price of it tomorrow might be higher compared today and by just checking on the price history, there has been a steady increase on its price these past few months especially August. This month, bitcoin prices skyrocketed up to 60% of its price compared last July 2017 where its lowest price reached to around $1900. We may never know that the price today (which is $4587) might increase on the next month and that is why it is never too late to invest into bitcoins.

Its never too late and I always support people who wish to invest in bitcoin. Price of bitcoin fluctuate since ever, that is nothing new, but bitcoin is rising due all market speculations. Price will go up as demand in world is going up, bitcoin is the best invest for years and will stay like that I think.. Its not that I trust in all optimistic predictions, but bitcoin will make progress no matter how much people spread fud across the forum and on the internet. Just invest in bitcoin and don't worry.
1958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker v Other casino games online on: August 30, 2017, 10:47:11 AM
Poker requires a lot of skills and strategies before a player wins. Dice is easy to understand and you can just rely on luck and a little strategy (like the martingale).
a losing strategy if you ask me, but to each their own I guess.

It depends on the reason your playing the game, if your looking for a strategy based game, you'll hate dice and love poker, but if you just want to play for fun, easy and enjoy the ups and downs than, you will like dice. If choose one, I will choose dice because it's easy.

Ever dice would not be in my option because we may see the lose more than winnings in dice gambling. I would like to do betting or poker room games to use the strategy and gathered information to use and win continuously but we cannot do that in dice game. If you avoid dice even you will also consider gambling is one type profitable earning method in btc.
it's possible to lose out on any game in gambling, don't know why you would say otherwise. it's also not entirely likely you'll get strings of wins I poker either; it still boils down to being a game of chance, no amount of skill can change the cards you're dealt. conversely, it's also possible to get strings of wins in dice, it's just that you have very little control over that besides your odds / multiplier.

Martingale again, he will need to play and lose more of his money before he figure it out. After so many threads about it, and so many stories about lost money with martingale strategy some people still think that they can make money using it.
Winning and losing are part of the any game, you need to count your loses and expect good wining hand after. I like to play poker more then other games, in poker you play against other people and its more interesting then other games. You need to follow other players and their cards, your cards, you can win with bluff, or you can be strong and others to fold, you need to know how to take more money with luring other players to pay, books are written about poker and how to play it.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can any cryptocurrency overhaul Bitcoin's value in future? on: August 30, 2017, 05:00:35 AM
Its not impossible, many things can happen in future. I can't even guess which coin that can be, ETH like first behind bitcoin in price and popularity, or some new altcoin? There is many other altcoins, can any of this altcoins overhaul bitcoin value is really hard to guess. Who knows answer on this question have a chance to buy now and become very rich later. It will not be easy task for that altcoin, btc already cost a lot and predictions are more then optimistic, altcoin that can overcome bitcoin will need to have better code and very active devs and community. Is there altcoin that have forum like this one where we can earn with commenting, and then spent that altcoin on many other things?
1960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $4000 the perfect time to buy on: August 29, 2017, 07:53:13 PM
I bought a little bit more, waiting for the $8к per bitcoin in 2018

I always support the idea about buying more bitcoins, that is the best possible investment at the moment. Your prediction is very reasonable in my opinion, price rise in last couple month's made many of us optimistic about increase, double price on 8.000$ for next year is similar with my prediction. When I consider all factors, experts that predict 15.000$ next year, adoption, bitcoin price can double from now in next 18 months easily, maybe faster, to be honest I didn't expect price to be so close to 5.000$ so fast this year. We started slowly this year and bitcoin price jumped from 1.000 to 3.000$ in few weeks, that is just a proof that with bitcoin price anything is possible, who didn't believe in that before should believe in that now.
