1581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble closer than you think? on: February 09, 2018, 09:34:48 AM
Everything that suddenly pumped significantly in a short time is a bubble, including bitcoin when it reached $20,000 and then pops up to $11,000. Look at the current price at $10K, barely can't pass the $12K wall. Hence, it's better if bitcoin price increases slowly but steady.

lol no, thats not the real definition of a bubble because what i heard is that a bubble is something that pops out and dissapear in thin air without a trace. pumping of a coin is pretty normal and that is due to the more demand that it gets from the public as well as market manipulation by whales. dumping of the price is also normal as it always happen in the case of crypro curency and that is also due to the lesser demand as well as manipulation. overall i do agree that we are now closer to the bubble because bitcoin is still continue to decrease from hero going to zero.
If we compare this year's current price with the price when we still on the early of 2017, we still above, I only consider bubble when an assets increasing so significantly and when it pops, it's gone, or at least, have lower value than or back to the beginning price. as you said, price dumping is really normal and this cycle always happening in the early months of every year. It's been proven and someone even have written an article regarding the pump and dump cycle. What makes this year looks different is because the mass adoption has increased significantly and there's so many newcomers who always scream even when bitcoin just drops about $1.

Who said that bitcoin is a bubble first time? Who said that and why people repeat that bubble, bubble like you know what bubble really is. Who is blind can open any chart and see how much crypto currencies worth now, how many altcoins there is, how many markets there is. Price raised due very high demand last year, and why price dropped well some whale dumped couple thousands bitcoins all of a sudden and panic started. Bitcoin marketcap is still over 100 billions, other coins increased significantly, this is not a bubble that is a proof that people are more and more interested in crypto assets. To many newbies scream when ever price is rising or dropping, look at this speculation sector, some people post really stupid topics with very stupid questions. I don't doubt that many of them bought on top and sold in dip, this kind of people will blame bitcoin for their own stupidity.
1582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: February 09, 2018, 05:44:38 AM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed
We all seen a lots of personal opinions about your issue and personal advise since a lots of us also suffer from this mistake, I guess if you already tried to stop and it isn't successful better to find a medical specialist to check you out and give you some medications to free up bad effect of gambling activities from you, too much addiction can be cured by medications together with self will.
I'm sorry but I strongly disagree with using and medications, his username lordshiva sounds like he is from India. Very big county with old culture, he can go from one temple to another couple months. He will learn about self control, he will learn about his culture and tradition, in all that time he will be far away from internet and casinos. That is much better to do in my opinion then to spend his money on some drugs, and later to become drug addiction too. From one problem he will make two problems. I think nature can cure everything, his problem is weak character and in nature he can build that ans become stronger personality, that is all that he needs. Good luck my friends, what ever you want to do, try to do it in a good way.
1583  Economy / Speculation / Re: I bought at 19k, now what? on: February 08, 2018, 10:28:07 AM
Hold. You don’t really have a choice.
Harsh reality, he doesn't have any other choice. Selling at any point under 19.000 will be a big loss and once when we see price recovered and over that point he will regret big time.
Don't buy at top, he is just a newbie but he should come here and read before investing money, big money 19k x 3 is 57.000$. He should be more smarter with that amount of money.
People who bought at 1.200$ first time when bitcoin dropped to 200$ waited 2 years, more or less he will need to wait that much.
1584  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I only have 200$ per month ! on: February 08, 2018, 08:56:51 AM
Jump in 1 ICO each month and do your research. Maybe it is also wise to buy some shares, maybe not right now because I think their currently overpriced.
Gold or silver is something to look at. It's ok if you diversify your portfolio, 100% Crypto can be risky, wouldn't you agree?
Well not much expensive the gold and silvers are because now most expensive thing is the bitcoin and not currency can beat our bitcoin at all. I think it is good to hold your 200$ every month with you so in future you will have more than this collect money and invest in bitcoin for your income to grow. Not all the currency are like bitcoin so go for bitcoin only and even 200$ are better than having nothing in this era.
Holding 200$ with him is the worst thing that he can do, cause of the inflation his money will lose value over time. I think its better to invest in bitcoins each month then to keep dollars. Investing in icos is good too, its risky but he doesn't need to invest all the money there, little in every ico he find interesting.
Something, even 200$, is always better then nothing, but here we have a chance to make some good investments that can bring a lot of profit and maybe financial security one day, if we play our cards good 200$ can become a lot more. Sometimes its good to take some risks for greater good.
1585  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2018, 07:03:16 AM
Never i think. They will makes another coin for them, ex: FTC  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Facebook has recently banned the advertisement of the all types of the crypto currencies which shows that facebook has two things in the mind, either it is totally going against all the types of crypto or it has already made some deal with any of the crypto currency and soon it will be disclosed for everyone. Just wait and watch because the way facebook has highlighted crypto issue, there is going to be some news at the back end.
They banned it yes but then again they don't ban cryptocurrencies. Those ads were all paid if you saw there are promoted ico until now. Furthermore, that banned is more specific for the ico or promotions that is only intended to scam Mark Zuckerberg did it to avoid those scams. As i read some information on it i forget where so i can't give the link.
Who are they to ban anything? They can try to stop people from using it there, but that is all they can do. I understand shy they banned advertising of icos and bitcoin doubler's, then online mining, and million other thngs, some people created so much spam, my page there is filled with so many stupid posts, long posts that promise a big profit just if you go there. They should do that long time ago, and clean their yard a bit. Twitter will do something similar, over there situation is not better.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: February 07, 2018, 04:12:40 PM
As with bitcoin you can bet without getting verified or without sending any of your information or documents so therotically nobody gonna know that you are the one who is gambling including your government. So even though if gambling/betting is illegal in your country, you can gamble with bitcoin and you might not be entitled for any crime or legal offenses.
That is the beauty of bitcoin gambling, you can deposit money and later withdraw without any hustle. You don't need ID documents, you don't need bill's, and I don't know what kind of verifications. That is the beauty of bitcoin gambling, and that is what I always try to point out when I speak about gambling generally.
I gamble on 888 site, I play poker there and other games but all that is real hustle comparing with bitcoin gambling.
In the end bitcoin gambling or just gambling is illegal in many countries, but for now in my country Serbia you can gamble with any currency including bitcoin freely.
1587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Etherium? on: February 07, 2018, 02:17:52 PM
I think for now Litecoin is very difficult to beat ethereum, because I see for now Ethereum is stronger than Litecoin, hence from that for now I prefer ethereum than Litecoin.
Litecoin is so much different from ethereum, you can't compare actual crypto currency with platform. If you are reading news then you know that some major payment processors planning to adopt litecoins, and I heard about opening of LitePay, something like BitPay. Now its great time for investing in both of them, I think both will have a good place in future and both are undervalued at the moment. Ethereum will cost a lot more then now, predictions say at least 3.000$ by the end of this year. For litecoins you don't need any predictions, just take a look what Charlie Lee is doing and if you don't believe in litecoins then you are crazy. I already earned a lot from litecoins, I was idiot when I sold on 50$, but I'm getting back in and I already have couple litecoins for now.
1588  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit not for sale! on: February 07, 2018, 01:33:52 PM
Can someone explain me how this topic is constructive? Can someone explain me quality of this topic? How OP got so many merits just from this one thread?
How time is passing I doubt that this merit's will improve anything, it can stop people from getting to higher ranks but this can't be a good thing generally.
I would like to hear some explanations, but I doubt that I will get some 'quality answers' cause it's impossible. Merits will be the tool for manipulation on this forum, just chosen ones will advance and who will be this chosen ones depends from who is better friend with admins or who ever have sMerits.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 07, 2018, 12:38:42 PM
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

There are a lot of coins out there that can be an easy replacement for bitcoins. Alt coins are so rampant today with their awesome features as compared to bitcoins' decentralization. The cryptomarket will always survive even without our top contender.
First time I saw about the end of bitcoin was 2 years ago, they said 2016 will be the end of cryptosystem, we are in 2018 if you don't know that and still every year there are rumor's that this year will be the end, for how long you plan to believe in this kind of rumor's?
In case that is true, I agree that cryptomarkets will survive without bitcoin, but that is not the point I think, bitcoin is here to stay, I hate that I need to repeat the same thing that is written and said so many times, but lets do it again, bitcoin is here to stay. If you can't see what is happening then you are probably blind.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: February 07, 2018, 11:16:53 AM
I gamble everyday, play poker or slots, or some other casino game. I know how much I can spend on gambling and I gamble according to that, if I have more I will play slots or poker cash games with higher blind's, if I don't have much I will be satisfied with small stakes table. Until now I didn't have big reasons to stop gambling, couple days now and then when I can't find free time. I hope that I will not have to think about completely stopping with my gambling activities.
I hope if you continue you wouldn't get that addicted because it would be really hard to control yourself especially when you are already in the casino. For everything and games you have in front of you it would be harder because you can get them to do with it and in the long run you could lose a lot of money.
In real casino maybe, but I gamble online and just like that. I deposit some amount and of I lose it I turn it of and I start to do something else, like come here and read comments, or I open Twitter and look for airdrops or some other promotions, and my favorite I turn on counter strike or league of legends and I lose couple hours there and I forget about everything and everyone for that time. That is how I run away from losing to big amounts in any online casino. That is not the end, i will return to that casino with higher deposit some other day and usually I win in the and everything I lose and I make some profit.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BIG move UP in altcoins today! on: February 07, 2018, 09:39:58 AM
Some are up for more then 70-80%., and many of altxoins are up for more then 50%. If you guys remember from week ago same thing happened after black Tuesday, after that black day all prices started to go up, but look what happened. Can we hold this rise is the question, not just hold it needs to stay like this all week and more if we want to see bitcoin on its previous ath.
And let's not play dumb here, on this forum we all know when it's the best time for buying, in dips, who bought yesterday have a good profit today, and that is the beauty of this forum, we know much more then people outside.
1592  Economy / Speculation / Re: $6200 I'm buying on: February 07, 2018, 08:30:18 AM
Ok, so this has gone on long enough, I've been short most of the time, but I'm buying all I can here ! Let's go! At least back up to $7200
As at today bitcoin has make some positive and significant price progress and it is currently heading towards  $8,000 and bitcoin is good now to buy.
We are close to 8.000$ mark. Opportunity for buying under 10k is always good, I didn't think that we will see bitcoin price so low again, but when its here people should use this situation as advantage. If op bought yesterday at 6.200$ he is in nice profit already. I'm reading that all February will be like bumpy road for bitcoin, nobody can't say will we see price going down more, now everything is possible. I'm saying that we need to survive this February and thing's will start to go straight up, just a little more, February is the shortest month.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💪 💪very useful bot with fees💪 💪 on: February 06, 2018, 06:26:44 PM
Thank you for making this telegram bot. There are so many useful telegram bots, some of this bots are more then needful for people who wish to be here and do things in easy way. For now two languages English and Russian.
I'm in, I don't have to say more about this. I don't know what kind of improvements you have in mind, but every new tool can be useful for us here. Thanks again my friends.
1594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: February 06, 2018, 05:24:12 PM
After the past few days of BTC dumping fest and the storming news about whatever institutions's crack down plans against Bitcoin, I'd be tempted to say that in fact Bitcoin is too big to NOT fail - since big powers are currently busy trying to destroy it. Let's watch the show and hope for the best...
There isn't such thing as too big to fail, when something big collapse dust cloud is bigger and there aren't many survivors. Its what we can do, hope for the best and like until now to spread knowledge about bitcoins ans crypto community. I agree with you that some bjh forces wish to destroy bitcoin or take its place, what ever it is its affecting us all.
I'm here everyday watching what people have to say, checking prices, and what news wrote about this currentl drop. I think this is not game over, this is not the first time that bitcoin is going down, it sounds a lot in dollars, but in percents nothing new is happening.
1595  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC reach? on: February 06, 2018, 04:07:07 PM
Just one day passed and I change my answer from 6K USD to 3K USD.  Wow...  This sell down is just too much for the market to handle.  It's like 2013 all over again and the two or so years of nothing after that.  My fear is it could take a while for BTC to get back and beyond ATH.  I don't think most of you will be able to wait for 5 to 7 years if it comes to that.
Here we change our minds very quickly, not just when price is going down, same is when price is going up. Guessing when will price reach its peak, and after that bottom is what many traders doing everyday. That is gambling in my opinion, closer you are to your guess means more profit if you know how to play your cards.
If we need to wait couple years its nothing believe me, as long as we know what we are waiting. Who knew back in 2013 that price will reach 19.000$ would sell everything for bitcoins, and addition to that every monthly salary would go into bitcoins. Learn from that, if you expect price to be 20.000$ again in few year that is plenty of time for acquiring more bitcoin.

1597  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Stable exchange? on: February 06, 2018, 09:33:13 AM
I have +500$ on poloniex in several altcoins. I'm there for more then a year now and for me poloniex is very stable exchange site. You are right when you say that in this times when prices are going deep down some exchanges can declare bankruptcy or hack, we never know. I'm lazy to make some wallets for coins I have so I trust poloniex, and I will continue to trust. Selling now is not an option for me, only converting coins I have in bitcoins, eth and ltc and then sending that to wallet. But 500$ isn't so big amount, so I will risk probably.
1598  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Merit "trading" - buying and selling Bitcointalk merit on: February 06, 2018, 07:52:11 AM
Merit was made to determine one's post quality.
If someone buys and sells merit it means that he abuses the system.
I can guess that Merit trading is forbidden and those who try to trade Merit will probably get their thread to be deleted.

Merit also very helpful as it gives users the option to thank other users for their posts.
An ability that wasn't available before.
Like with many other things invented with good reasons this one will be a subject of many speculations and manipulations. In my opinion many of us are giving the best we can, who is that judge to say that we have enough quality to get merit? Until now I didn't give and I didn't get any merits, I don't have enough merits to reward many great comments, and in same time I think many of my comments pass unnoticed here, who will reward me? My English is far from perfect, I'm trying to elaborate my thoughts in the best possible way, but does that means anything to anyone?
People will trade with merits, here or somewhere else, doesn't matter. When everyone is allowed to be a judge of comment quality I doubt in fair system.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 600$ - Invest in altcoin on: February 05, 2018, 10:25:40 PM
In this moment now many altcoins, including bitcoin, are down for more then 50%. You ask for coins that can go x5 or x10, in my opinion open a market cap and most of the coins in top 100 are the coins that you are looking for. Which one will get there first is tough question and I can't answer you, I can just guess that stellar, cardano, litecoin, neo, ethereum, bitcoin, this are the coins from top 10. In my post you can see that I catch ripple, iota and some other trains that made more then x10, but that was waiting my friend, months of waiting and buying. Invest a little in everything and wait, and I think 600$ is almost nothing, good for start and that is it, try to put more money when ever you can, and wait and wait.
1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: February 05, 2018, 09:28:58 PM
Nope that will never happen.
Bitcoin will not go down lower than 10.000$

It seems you were wrong, but in the facts, your point was great, Bitcoin can not go to 1800$ for the simple reason that there is not enough bitcoins in circulation to break all the support levels.
He is not the only one that has been wrong about this drop. I didn't see this coming too, I thought we will never see bitcoin under 10.000$ again, and judging by the people on this forum and their comments many of us felt the same, but bitcoin surprised us again. I think this is not the first or the last time, bitcoin will surprise us many more times. After bas surprise good surprise is coming, same as last year price went to 19.000$ this year or next one bitcoin can do much more, now we know that bitcoin can do that. I'm patient and I will wait for that rise, and in meanwhile I will do what I so all this years, earn, gamble, trade and have fun with crypto.
