Bitcoin will stay bitcoin. Forks may say that splitting of bitcoin to form another altcoins but it will never affect its popularity. Cryptocoins are racing for the highest place in cryptoworld. But I think there is no need to worry, another coin will eventually test another's trust to new coins. If bitcoin gold will not gain enough investors then it will be probably dead too like the first one bitcoin cash.
I'm for original bitcoin, I don't have anything against bitcoin gold, cash, black and white bitcoin, for me this are new altcoins that offer something like many other altcoins, what is better and more useful is individual. After november we will see the same as we saw after august, bitcoin will stay first and strongest, and with bitcoin gold people will earn some money dump their bitcoin gold tokens and that is it. The safest way to make profit is to buy bitcoin and hold it, trading and gambling are both risky and which is safest from this two is impossible to say, cause behind trading and gambling there are many different ways, strategies, games and by choosing what will you do or play and setting up your odd you risk more or less, and profit is higher or lower.
I don't think that trading is safer from gambling, I quit daily trading few months ago cause I had just losses from that. In gambling I have positive score, and for example its easier to make some profit on sports betting then with daily trading.
In the end that is my experience, people should try everything and find what is best for them. What is good for some people doesn't necessary means that its good for others.

I will not say unstoppable. But Bitcoin is really performing well now stable in it's high price that was reached for the past 5 years. But someday, if some negative big factor will come, it will really bring down the price.

It seems like people buying up BTC to get as much Bitcoin Gold from the upcoming fork is playing a huge part in the price increase. However it will reduce slightly and then back to strong growth. $7000 at the end of the year is feasible Upcoming fork can't hurt bitcoin, last time people were afraid and in panic they were dumping bitcoins, now situation is different people are buying more and more bitcoins to have more bitcoin gold coins after hard fork. After hard fork people will dump gold tokens but bitcoin will continue to rise. Bitcoin now is much more stronger then before, we can say its unstoppable but bitcoin is still young and needs to grow more and be more stronger as it grows. |

That low price that you are mentioning is higher every day. Price is expensive when you compare bitcoin price today and in same time last year, but bitcoin is also cheap now if you compare today`s price with possible price in 5 years for example. Prices of coins are fluctuating, some more some less, and you need to buy according to your goals. It`s good to wait dips and drops, but its hard to predict price movement, if you are buying to make quick profit you need to be ready for short time mistakes, when price is not moving in desired direction and you will be forced to wait longer to get some profit. Honestly 5000$ price is not a big surprise. I agree to those who estimate end point of bitcoin at 10k ..For now
For me, it was a surprise really. I was expecting bitcoin to be $4500 at maximum and then that Chinese drama had made the believed for me when prices again went down for $2900. But this $5600 is really mind-blowing. And for now, I am really waiting for bitcoin to just jump to $10k within next two or three months. I hope this may happen. Now price is over 5.600$ and I expected some new price records, just not so fast. On 10.000$ before new year was hard to believe couple months ago, now that is becoming very possible. I think after this year rise from 1.000$ to 3.000$ in just couple weeks I think bitcoin price will never surprise me like that again. Now I'm more prepared for sudden changes, and in price rise I don't doubt like before, I think I'm more optimistic then before. 10.000$ for now sounds good, and it would be great for that to happen this year, for next year we will have bigger plans. |

With the others gaining traction from the faction of the community that supports those changes. And why people are making different paths? One path isn't good enough for all? People can't agree what is good and what is bad, and more important people wish to earn money. Cash rules everything today, and I think we have new chains cause some people notice easy chance for making money on someone elses creation. I don't use bitcoin cash, I do not plan to use bitcoin gold, this new chains are good for bitcoin holders who have a lot of bitcoins and they are making highest profit on each hard fork. As long as they are paid very high they will support creating new coins. |

Nothing! So far there is still incentives for people to make money, even if regulations come in and ICO etc are ban in certain jurisdiction, people would move to another jurisdiction to continue their business of ICO as usual!
Even with regulations new icos will be created all the time, they will just need to follow certain rules and have some more obligations. But until that global regulations about icos come, nothing can stop this rush, not China, Russia, Canada, developers will always search for country where laws are different and they will continue to do what they do from there. |

For now I have iota, doge, ripple, dgb, and I have couple others but some little amounts. I hold this coins for now, in past months this altcoin prices are steady, they have little fluctuations but nothing big is happening for now. I think this coins are good cause of active communities, people talk a lot about them, they have big market caps, and many people agree that this coins will have future. I plan to buy more of this altcoins, and some new one, and I will hold them couple years before selling that is sure. For good things we need to have patience and wait them to come.

Yes it will be higher, people are getting into bitcoin more and more. Now when price is very high they are starting to be more interested, that is not the only reason of course. Some countries legalized bitcoin, soon other countries will fallow and that is obvious. Bitcoin is now more present in news and on tv, people hear for bitcoin from different sides and they wish to be more involved, at least the ones who recognize potential of bitcoin and wish to be part of the future. I learn from my mistakes, and sometimes I need to make several same mistakes before I learn something. Its hard to keep control in gambling all the time, last night I deposited 0.031 btc in betcoin.ag I wanted to try new slots, and I had good start after 30 minutes I got some nice win and 1500 credits, in bitcoins that was 0.095 btc. I really thought that night is mine and I continued to gamble.I should stop and withdraw, I had same feeling on 0.06 btc and until the end I had feeling that I will something. This happened many times and again I made a rookie mistake. Instead to be in nice profit I lost some bitcoins what a bad luck and again wrong decision.

if you bought bitcoin just to make a quick profit then sure, sell and get out now. you have already gotten the "quick" profit anyways.
but if you are not just looking for that quick small profit then obviously you should hold for long term. these short term rises and drops are not for those who are not traders. and I don't think you are a trader or plan on starting to trade so selling now is not really a good option if you ask me.

Price of bitcoins is making new records and in next few days that will not stop, until this new hard fork price will go up a little bit more. This is airdrop, and more bitcoins someone have in wallet means more bitcoin gold coins will get. Bitcoin cash imhave a nice price, I think that bitcoin gold will not cost so much, and I hear that bitcoin gold will be possible to mine with GPUs, I still don't know is it true.
