2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: March 29, 2020, 08:55:57 PM
Question:

I was curious if given the opition would you or would you not get all pay in 100% bitcoin.

Sure. If bitcoin is already accepted in any store in my place, from the department stores to grocery supermarket and other restaurants, then why not? I'd rather scan a QR code to pay with my phone with BTC other than withdrawing first to convert to cash which is you need to got some atm machine first which I'm usually doing.
2162  Other / Meta / Re: Posts that are outdated / Needs to be locked up on: March 29, 2020, 08:03:07 PM
The BitcoinTalk forum as it grows; seems to have more and more newbie's / bumpers around it. This is causing oldest posts to get an attention for no reason. Since, it is out of our control where one can post; we can at least look for the locking of such posts immediately which are getting commented even when they are from few years ago and are useless in the current situation.
Just report those posts whenever you see some bump posts on very old thread(s). I'm sure mods will eventually take an action for that.
2163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who Are Financing Bitcoin Dev? on: March 29, 2020, 07:58:53 PM

There is no financing for Bitcoin DEV. The only way of financing their works is mining. It is valid for everyone not just them.
But Bitcoin and Lightning is different. So there is a misunderstanding between here topic and the link you've shared.
The article didn't mentioned any mining/miners topics. You might be the one who is misunderstanding the whole point of the thread/topic. Bitcoin devs develop the software, not necessary that they will go to mining. Open source developers doesn't have to get financed, they do it for contribution but there are some company/organizations/individual love their works and start to make a donation or even finance the whole project with problems they're trying to solve.

2165  Economy / Services / Re: ✨BITCOIN GENERATOR✨ | MAKE MORE THAN 5000$/MONTH | SEMI-AUTOPILOT on: March 29, 2020, 05:48:34 PM
It doesn't make sense to spread if you are not scammer. Just enlighten me if you have constructive arguments.
Unfortunately, he is. All existing bitcoin generator are all scam, whether a website or an executable software, worst if there's a malware behind it which is most probably it has.
2166  Other / Meta / Re: for fix it on: March 29, 2020, 05:21:48 PM
The most frighful thing for people in the world is death.
If Corona spread all over the world without a single death, then Corona was nothing to disscuss. But a lot of people are dying everyday by this deadly virus. Peoples are lock down in there house. I never saw this in my life. So peoples are frighten and disscuss about this deadly Corona Virus frequently.
There is facebook, reddit, twitter to discuss it if you only want a thorough discussion of how's the deaths, lockdowns and etc. of this virus not in here.

Source:captured from Facebook

Stay safe people, stay at home.

2168  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [Off-Topics] Pilipinas on: March 29, 2020, 04:06:35 PM
Then contiune pa rin sya dito sa forum journey nya upang mabayaran yung inutang nya kahit paunti-unti. Para hindi lang mabahiran ng red paint ang account nya.
I didn't see him na may suot na paid signature eversince naging active siya dito, that's why I don't know din if bakit na aprobahan siya for loan with that amount. If kasali siya sa high paid signature mas considerable pa.
So to start with reputation lang ang puhunan nang nakapagloan siya, regarding sa mga trading ang business niya which is daw yung source para makapag bayad.

Siya siguro ang sumunod kay Master-P, from a highly reputed user (dt1) to a scammer. Sayang talaga tsk.

2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 29, 2020, 03:40:38 PM
Heard you man, just stay safe.

While I see some people who want to be safe and be prepared, I saw some who doesn't mind the situation they are in
https://twitter.com/keeltyc/status/1243650632692662272

If you don't want to get infected, stay at home.

Are you sure that situation is so terrible that you need cash? Maybe crypto card will be better solutions?
Crypto debit cards might be good, but afaik, every atm withdrawal is charged, so it will be an issue here.
2170  Economy / Services / Re: EV-SSL Green Bar Cheap, Fast, 30 Countries, Payment Verifications, Phone Verify on: March 29, 2020, 01:42:24 PM
Okay, no big deal 🙌🏻, if your/the site accept bitcoin, then go ahead. I just thought that the site doesn't do anything to bitcoin since you never mentioned BTC
2171  Economy / Services / Re: EV-SSL Green Bar Cheap, Fast, 30 Countries, Payment Verifications, Phone Verify on: March 29, 2020, 12:52:54 PM
If your service offered doesn't do anything related to bitcoin, then this is not the place for your service.
2172  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk blocked from Russia on: March 28, 2020, 08:26:43 PM
Can someone in the Russian board confirm if Bitcointalk is now part of Russia's Federal List of Extremist Material?
I don't really know but it doesn't show when using google, not so sure if there's a new list though .

what I'm worried about is if this restriction is something even bigger to what we are seeing now, like have they changed their views towards Bitcoin that is why they have blocked the forum to begin with?
I just saw this Blow To Bitcoin As Russia Moves To Effectively Ban Crypto, but it will not happen so soon.
2173  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: fake Microsoft channel on YouTube (with 568k subscribers) on: March 28, 2020, 08:00:00 PM
Upon typing it has 18K watching on the live video, just report the video (spam/misleading > scam/fraud) and even the channel (about > report user > spam and scam).
2174  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 28, 2020, 07:27:51 PM
If this virus is literally made by them then,if proven then China might be in large facing every nation's rage because of this.
That's too early to say so, and that's not so easy to get those proofs since china is too centralized. You will be stopped and silent before you can speak.

Anyway, let's just hope that this virus will not do more damage than what it should, people should listen to their government when the place/country is considered as a lockdown.
2175  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 28, 2020, 02:51:49 PM
I'm sure we read the same content on facebook about this conspiracy which is there are some valid reasons right now. If the virus is really by means made on purpose then they are already winning this, consider the confirmed cases on US and italy than china.
2176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why there are very few porn bitcoin sites? on: March 28, 2020, 02:34:47 PM
I wonder why there are only a very few porn bitcoin sites? The adult industry is huge and only a few of them take the BTC and most of them are cams.
Where you even get this information? Even just searching "porn bitcoin sites" (used words on your title) on google will give you lots of list of those adult websites accepting crypto and bitcoin. Nothing to add up, lists are linked above by other users.
2177  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best debit cards to spend BTC on: March 28, 2020, 02:27:40 PM
Binance just introduced their own crypto debit card, the OP might want to take a look at it.

This is only available on malaysia, then vietnam and sure it will be available next on those countries that are much nearer like singapore, macau and even hongkong but too far for EU.
2178  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [MEGATHREAD] Pilipinas Coronavirus/COVID-19 Thread on: March 28, 2020, 06:42:43 AM

https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10216341970763352&type=3

If ever na may makita kayong posts na obvious fake, plesse pa report nalang sa platform socmed, forum ot any social media websites.
2179  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges need mobile apps? on: March 27, 2020, 09:27:52 PM
Since script kiddies are become more resourceful making phishing websites, a mobile app is way too convenient and secure to its users when accessing the platdorm though there are some limitations in smaller device than using a desktop especially when viewing trading charts, but it's still way more helpful especially you can access the platform anytime you want
2180  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can't Contact Coinbase outside of Android App on: March 27, 2020, 09:00:40 PM
Why would I be the only one not able to contact them?
I can access their contact page without any issues.

Maybe you could try to contact them through their subreddit r/coinbase, I see their support is active there which answers some questions per day.
