1201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: December 16, 2020, 11:29:26 PM

This might be the new ath for bitcoin but I guess we will see more, its been stable at 19k and 21k is just a step away or maybe more soon.
Well, that guess hits right a way that fast. Now, just bare yourself the impact it will cause if the price decline after or if it will continue surging.
1202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: blockchain.com 502 Error? on: December 16, 2020, 11:19:58 PM
500** code error for exchanges can be a system automated change of plan of every exchange to avoid getting lost while their user keep selling bitcoin due to ath. Or might be a legitimate down of server due to heavy loaded traffic.
1203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: December 16, 2020, 02:28:43 PM
Bump!

$2,250 @ bitstamp right now.

Note for moderators: I think it is pretty clear that I'm not breaking unofficial rule nš 21. This thread was created precisely to be bumped in a day like today.

$20,350 right now
and $20,440 the new ath based on Bitstamp
Quite amazing how the resistance level collapse at once after bitcoin succeed to break $19,8k today, it may keep going to reach $21k soon.
Meanwhile, we can rejoice for the new all-time high and hopefully it will sustain above $20k.
Binance reaches $20,799 and the site crashed for a moment lol.

This might be the new ath for bitcoin but I guess we will see more, its been stable at 19k and 21k is just a step away or maybe more soon.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin startup advertising on London Bus - still exciting to see on: December 16, 2020, 01:51:29 PM
Yep, Luno is the exchange - seems like they are doing a rather large marketing campaign

Some cool pics in this link  Smiley
Cool pics indeed. Such companies will never run out of cool ideas when it comes to marketing.

I just don't know how their services work since some of their users reported lots of issues : ))
1205  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Impossible to withdraw from Binance on: December 16, 2020, 01:23:26 PM
Though this is not related to their withdrawal email request but I can receive their deposit email notification earlier this day.

I checked they used the same automated email (do-no-reply@post.binance.com). I wonder if it's just this time but it's okay earlier.
1206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Add Scam Websites - Contribute on: December 15, 2020, 01:01:36 PM
What's the use of ranking on the scam sites if all of them are scam, and maybe you can allow the submission of scam websites without account registrations.

And how does the voting works actually? Just this

"Are you sure that you want to vote for "Hashrange"?" and a Yes or No option. How it affects the listed scam websites if t lots of users vote 'No'?
1207  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of authentication bug? on: December 14, 2020, 11:57:47 AM
Does it work for you?!
I tried and yes it brings me to the wrong page. I tried to click some recent posts on that thread and it works. Just the posts on that page with the post of op have something wrong. I guess there's something to fix there or just cache error just what mentioned above.

The fault is not from the user but most probably a cache error. When posts are deleted the forum system needs to recount and correct reply arrangements on the thread, this may take a while especially in mega threads but would eventually be fixed and during this period replies would likely be misplaced.
1208  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of authentication bug? on: December 14, 2020, 11:42:13 AM
It's not a bug, so there's nothing to solve there.

It's normal that a post before yours can be deleted and your post will be moved from page 9 to 8 or so. And a post with msgID didn't change even the posts before yours got deleted.

So chances are you just copied the wrong link with msgID (msg55797508#msg55797508) if that's your main issue.

[Edit] Okay, seems clicking the post with msgID won't bring you to the exact page.
1209  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Fake Trust Wallet Facebook Group and App on: December 13, 2020, 07:33:38 PM
There is a fake app uploaded on the Google Play store that tries to get users' information.
The link to the fake app is:
Code:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appen.basedrivbers
Good thing google removed the said app already.

Also, there is a Facebook group that impersonates Trust Wallet.

The link is:
Code:
https://www.facebook.com/Trust-Crypto-Wallet-104747664839194
Not new, there are lots of impersonators of famous wallets and exchange on facebook, all you just need to do is report it and stay away from it. Those who support the pages and groups are probably bots used for likes, follow-for-follow accounts, or the people behind the scheme.

1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 13, 2020, 07:24:39 PM
Well, that's actually a very small amount to exchange, exchange fees will eat up your funds.
You can make an offer for p2p trade here to someone who has eth and willing to deal with your bch. Even it's a small amount scammer still have an interest to that so avoid dealing with a brand new account and those who have negative feedback on their trust page if ever use an escrow.
1211  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confession, it's me @webtricks on: December 13, 2020, 06:31:40 PM
Someone needs attention.

You can wait until blackjackfun post his "deeper investigation" regarding chrome(alt) users on its platform.
1212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 13, 2020, 05:17:54 PM
Why would I stop if I keep gaining profits from it? If this price reached, surely I would sell but I won't stop stacking, the price might dump after that year's ATH but it will pump again for sure for the next few years and that's the most awaiting and interesting part of hodling bitcoin.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China will bring up the Blockchain Engineering Bachelor. on: December 13, 2020, 05:04:03 PM
But there are rumors before that China is against the use of Bitcoin and they want to create their own, and right now I'm not updated about it if it is true.

Their government is against it and they want to make one where people will invest to it and it will grow their economy which is a good move if many people invest on it. A country who engaged in Blockchain Technology will really achieve faster and immediate development in their economy and businesses that will help them to grow more as nation.
They only against bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that they don't control, as we all knew that their government wants to control everything on their country. And their behaviour towards blockchain tech is different from the former, they even built some projects related to blockchain and advancing building blockchain related projects. And making its own cryptocurrency is likely to happen in the future

1216  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ✅ Need a community advice. What is your opinion? on: December 12, 2020, 10:10:00 PM
While I agree that sub-domains/url don't matter even its rates.coinplatform.com or coinplatform.com/rates or coinplatform.com/exchange-rates but having keywords on the url makes it more visible on search and it can also acts as a ranking factor on search engines.

What you should focus is the content of the page, how reliable or accurate your info and prices are.
1217  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Tanong: Anong MSME Friendly App ang magandang gamitin para sa mga negosyo on: December 12, 2020, 04:09:21 PM
Saan mo ba gusto mag'accept ng payment, through website ba? or offline lang? If offline/physical lang I guess, coins.ph account with QR code is okay na.

If gamit mo naman is website at automated ang processing, well, depende sa anung platform gamit mo either Shopify, WordPress or ibang kilalang CMS na may plugins is madali lang. Need mo lang din ng API keys from payment gateways like dragonpay, you can apply lite version nila which is no need ng one-time setup fee na PHP 36,000, meron silang coins.ph so okay mag accept ng bitcoin payments need mo lang din mag bayad ng fix payment per transaction 10-20 ata.

Or direct ka mag apply for business account sa coins.ph lesser fees, though need mo din ng developer para mag setup sa website mo.

If ayaw mo naman sa mga ganyang payment gateway, I suggest blockonomics, no need ng kyc, 1% fee per transaction, dretso na sa wallet mo yung payment, di tulad sa bitpay or coinspayment, at easy setup lang pero need mo mag hire ng developer for that to work.

1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Wallet Regulations: A damn good time to be paranoid on: December 12, 2020, 03:37:07 PM
I don't understand why people are still putting Bitcoins into their exchange wallets. Custodial wallets are not safer than those which gives you complete control of the private keys and is definitely not the main point of Bitcoin; giving control of your funds to someone else.
They'll defend for easy access when bitcoin crash or pumps so that they will not bother sending/transfer their bitcoin to some exchange. Or as someone said on some thread here that exchanges are secured and their funds are insured even there's a hack like what binance do (well, not to cryptopia and quadrigaCX users).

They don't usually care about the point of having bitcoin, they just want profit, gains and whatsoever.

No its not. Report the user and he will be banned. Its against forum rules #24
