Sevilla were never going to stay in bottom for too long, it would have been the collapse of the decade, especially with such an immense keeper at the back who also had a good WC.

Not that we will start betting on them again lol.

Real Madrid, may they continue to slump like this for a bit more at least until we have a very healthy 15 point cushion!!
2162  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: January 30, 2023, 08:49:13 AM
Indeed, well done to Southampton, in the draw for the next round. They’re doing really well in the cups, I hope they’re able to transfer that form into the Premier League soon.
I can't believe they are still in last place in Premier League, but competition for relegation is better than ever with Everton, West Ham, Leeds, Leicester, etc.
They need to start winning matches and points, and I am expecting to see very interesting rest of the season.
Winning one cup would be great, but staying in Premier League is very important task ahead.

The season keeps looking better for me (not betting just tables) as Real somehow did not score in the last game while my team is finding a way to get in one-nil wins a lot. Next up for us in Manchester United though in 2 weeks in Europa, but they seem really strong these days hehe.

Anyway, Southampton being in last place must be just something like bad luck, and of course it's easy to say that, same could be said for every team near the bottom, but the thing about luck is it can also turn around the other way. 3 wins in a row, imagine, and it's middle table.
2163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Month January 23 - the best month since bitcoin? on: January 30, 2023, 07:38:59 AM
The context of being the best month in terms of improvement is that we also went through a period of the worst time in recent months for Bitcoin. You know, like being last in class all the time, and suddenly getting 10th position and being the most improved student in the entire school history Smiley

But anyway, I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I think it could be a great thing too actually. Optimism!!

1 million dollars to win 8000 dollars? Either the guy has a lot of money to throw around, or he just wanted to earn fee money (something stupid I would do sometimes, bet 1 million satoshi to win 8000 satoshi on dice to pay for a withdrawal fee.

Totally naive, and inexperienced, but I've also done the same at Bitvest to my loss Sad
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: January 29, 2023, 12:42:17 PM
Ya thanks! So I finally made some profit from Barca, I shared earlier it Sportsbet ANN thread, and it does look nice to see the cushion growing. This was an important game because we actually didn't have our normal fire up front but so good to see our forwards got to rest a game and cleared their suspensions. But Dembele injury we all hope has no longterm impact.

Elche its going straight forward to the LaLiga2 its incredible how they are going deeper and deeper.

Only 6 points in 19 games what a disaster, and when i see them playing they dont play that bad, they are similar to another teams in the relegation zone, but seems like luck its not in his side.

Then they should be fine because luck runs only last a number of games. It's when you play badly that you should be worried about. Elche, the conquerors of big teams, can't get points on lower teams, seems like how things go!!
2166  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: January 29, 2023, 11:29:56 AM
Southampton doing well in cups, and still have a chance to make it into the final if they can beat Newcastle in the 2nd leg too (1 goal is enough to try go to penalties I guess!).

Anyway, after many times trying I finally turned one of my freebets into something useful. So many tight games but eventually it works out with Barcelona Smiley

2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will BTC do in event of US default on its debt? on: January 29, 2023, 09:21:15 AM
My limited knowledge leads me to believe that BTC is truly independent of the U.S. dollar, and of all the U.S. markets.  However, watching the value of BTC, and indeed pretty much all of the crypto currencies, it appears they are very strongly influenced by markets.

Indeed, I often think that cryptos should move in opposition to U.S. markets and fiat currencies.  If something makes the market weak, resulting in a drop in values, the cryptos should hold their own and even go up.  Obviously my thoughts don’t reflect the real world.

So,…, what do you think BTC, and cryptos in general, will do in the event of a U.S. government default?

In  a way, I think it's good that BTC is not as independent of other economic factors like stocks (as I talked about yesterday also) or US dollar performance. So if US govt defaults (trust me it won't), BTC will crash badly like everything else.

That means to me that BTC is important to the same investors and same users of stocks and dollars and everything else. Unlike before when only nerds were using BTC Wink

Doesn't that prove mainstream adoption?

So wait, Haunebu has no more Bitcoin left? I guess it's great to sell and make profit but it feels like jumping too early before the real rally begins? Or are you waiting for price to go down again? Just be careful not to miss the train. I'm a DCA person so I don't have any real desires except maybe I don't mind waiting until 2025 for a new ATH Wink
Yup. Used to HODL for way longer periods before, but am sticking to shorter periods these days thanks to global economic uncertainties which decreased my patience levels drastically.

Am HODLING some altcoins like Doge, Shiba etc though since they could explode at any time for various reasons.

I would think it's when the economy's really bad and uncertain that we hodl, at least that's how I see it. I'm more likely to sell in a rally but then again, I have not really done anything else but hodl. It's my savings in fiat that I use when necessary and then only into my crypto.

Good luck with doge, shiba, etc. Doge I know, Shiba well, to each his own Smiley

Ah, so it must definitely just be me then. I'll send support a query later in the week, I guess this is like my Sportsbet account also frequently needs adjustment but I don't mind, still get the privilege to play makes me happy.

Good luck everyone, enjoy the tournament while I'm "inactive" lol

Girona are having a lot of fun as I can see on social media. We visit them today and they are all sold out on tickets from long time ago but the club did a contest of Golden Tickets hidden around the city and some videos are pretty cool.

Anyway, it's the only important game for me today, because I have one last freebet multi that hit everything else except Barca. I said I wouldn't do this again but my last 4 big tickets are all similar. One last leg didn't hit and it wasn't even La Liga!!
2171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 28, 2023, 08:08:29 AM
City are the favorites in this match due to their nine-game winning streak in FA Cup home games and 13 wins in 16 head-to-heads against Arsenal under Guardiola, but Arsenal's current 6-game unbeaten run and Arteta's passion for the team make them a formidable opponent. The key players to watch will be Mahrez and Saka, with Saka looking to end his personal losing streak against City. Expect a high-scoring game, as ten of Arsenal's last 11 FA Cup fourth-round matches have resulted in more than 2.5 total goals.the odds of scoring both teams are 1.70 which I think is a good bet so I wouldn't miss the opportunity.
 Wink

Seems like actually City also broke a 100+ year record last night as they had not won against Arsenal in FA Cup since before first World War. So I remember hearing on the radio on the way to work today anyway, seems like such a strange statistic, either City never really cared about FA Cup or they didn't meet too many times!

A huge round of games today and many Premier League teams!

As far as I know, there is still this Crypto Crunch Tournament and the Midweek Special - Baccarat Battle active, while Bombay Weekend Tournament is coming soon.

This is a regular tournament that is always active, are you waiting for the multiplier race tournament?

I'm mainly talking about Crypto Crunch since all the games played contribute to that score and that's the one I try to rank every time. On my screen, Crypto Crunch Tourament already finished and usually, I am able to Opt in on the new one (which I even do before it starts lol) but this time my screen shows all greyed out windows as I show below.

This is since many days already.

Whoever from here wins Sweden trip, don't forget to share pictures. Never seen snow except from a fridge, looks amazing!

I sold my remaining stash recently when BTC reached $22.5K which felt great. Chinese New Year could have helped it surge suddenly along with several other reasons like inflation dropping, recession chances dropping etc.
It's good if you are satisfied with your profits as someone selling at $50k can also be at loss while some selling at lower rates can gain more profits but in the end it all depends on how much satisfied you are with your gains.See the main point for me is pumps if it comes from any point as I am long term holder with my coins.

Madrid derby went as expected and I am happy Modrić recovered from WC and put a very good performance over whole 120 minutes.

Yeah, I thought Atletico would have trouble scoring but they actually put it in early. And as expected Modric well rested and was one of the highest rated players on the field.

Rodrygo's goal was amazing... but I think more amazing is Atletico allowing him to jink through the defense like that.

And btw Suarez scored quite a beautiful goal to win the game for Gremio in final minute. 2 games, 2 goals, both to win the game. I miss him Smiley

Diaz isn't back until March, right? Still over a month away until we get him back. Obviously, the break helps. I don't tend to watch the FA cup unless some of the underdogs or Liverpool are playing. I can't say it means all that much, even when you do win it, but it's a nice feeling to actually perform well. I'll take the break though, this year has been pretty miserable due to our performances.

Hopefully, Arsenal can beat City. That'd be nice. I wouldn't bet on it mind you, think the game could be rather cagey due to what's up for grabs. 1-1 draw anyone?

Yep, both Diaz and Jota should be back in training early in March - meaning that they will probably be ready to play a week or 2 after that.
VVD's return date is still unknown, it was a hamstring injury and initially it was said that it will take more than a month. He could be in full training in 2-3 weeks.

Other than that we have no other injuries - but these are in 2 critical positions and Diaz has been our best player this season. I hope he gets straight back to form, although that is not realistic to expect.

As a neutral, I've always found Liverpool to play the most entertaining football in English league, consistently anyway, and always grooming players. I mean, turning Salah into a star, Mane into a most wanted, remember these guys were either from average teams or average leagues. They did the same with Jota, who was very average with Wolves, and Diaz, wow.

So I hope you guys do well.

Arsenal impressed me this season too, and for almost the same reasons they don't really have superstars, just a great team with hunger. I think the game also ends 1-1, but it would be nice to see Arsenal get the cup they seem to love so much Smiley
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today my client became the largest Bitcoin ATM company in the world! on: January 26, 2023, 01:36:57 PM
Yay your super rich client just bought over a lot of Bitcoin ATMs, does that mean you can finally give up posting on this forum? And maybe stop using news like that and just give us an exclusive interview with your client? Wink

So anyway other than this white lie from OP my wish is for Bitcoin ATMs to make it back into places it has disappeared from. Seems like many did in Covid especially?

Shoot, I wish man! As far as an interview with my client, that's a great idea! Would be a very unique way for cold outreach to garner interest & generate new business. I don't know exactly what I'd have to gain from lying about this, but I can assure you that I do business with them enough to call them my client. Unfortunately they pretty much sold off the physical part of the ATM business and now their business is truly the software. They find investors to front the cash on the hardware or franchise partners if you will, and so now instead of just working with Drew directly for all the connections in their machines now I have to reach out to many separate owners that all take different approaches to the connectivity in their machines. Most of them try to write the use of the on site connection into their location contract. So the existing internet circuit that is already in the gas station, vape shop, or wherever the machine is located and just plug and ethernet chord into it, which makes my solution second best. So it has been a little tricky when I come across operators that use that approach because I really can't help them, unfortunately.

I remember reading many times that Bitcoin ATM growth is just going up every year, but to my observation this has actually gone down. Maybe that's just because of where I am where many years ago you might see one machine or two, but those either broke down or disappeared and now it's been years since I saw one, in Singapore anyway where I noticed it.

Even in Indonesia I remember seeing one many years ago but it's gone now apparently.

I find it pretty amazing that even with much cheaper/faster/private options to buy crypto ATMs are still rising in popularity!
2179  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens next if Bitcoin drops to zero? on: January 26, 2023, 10:59:50 AM
It would be a total chaos because for sure it is because of no internet connection, chaos in our world, war anything that is bad that we can think is happening. That is likely will happen if bitcoin if drops to 0 as it is tied to our economy. Though it would be impossible to make it drop to 0 or die but those will happen if ever. Not sure why anyone thinking of this as it has a low possibility. Lets think on positive side.

That will be true, but that will have very little to do with Bitcoin and everything to do with the fabric of society being torn apart and destroying all the structures that our people are built on. Don't get me wrong I think Bitcoin is very important to the world right now but it is still way too young to have catastrophic impact on the world's economy, the crashes we've seen is proof right?

@ lionheart78 and Coin_trader

Yeah! As I mentioned, I got extremely lucky in my first two freespin rounds on Wanted Dead or a Wild. And in both those times, like yesterday, it was the Great Train Robbery bonus rounds where I got the majority of winnings. I can't remember what the other 2 bonus rounds are called but they give almost nothing, again I guess it's just variance and how the numbers line up.

Not complaining and I know it's always huge RTP difference if you only do 125 spins at a time Smiley

Did anyone else notice no new tournaments are up?
