2181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: August 22, 2016, 01:05:31 PM
People are greedy and wish to become a millionaire overnight like in fairy-tales. If that was really the case then so many people would not study and work hard in order to earn money to live - everyone would flock at casinos and become millionaires one by one. The casinos are not giving away money for free. They are running a business and they are the real profit makers.
Apparently a lot of people have ditched the idea of working hard/grinding until they reach their goals. That's why you can see a lot of people lurking around gambling sites even when they have no more money to bet. I think one of the reasons why this type of people keep on doing what they're doing is because every day (or maybe every week), there's actually someone in the gambling site that hits the jackpot. They think or they wish to become one of those lucky people one day. Unfortunate for them, until now they haven't hit the jackpot, that's why they are still lurking on gambling sites.
2182  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: August 22, 2016, 12:58:11 PM
If you try to explain bitcoin to your friends of contemporary or similar age range than you, it is already a problem to make those people understand what bitcoin is about. Now, imagine trying to explain this to your parents, and imagine trying to explain this to your grandparents. Mission impossible. Sorry but this is too advanced for people to grasp, most people aren't wired to think outside the box. This is why we will all be rich here, we are ahead of the pack.

If your parents or grandparents have an idea about computer and they are also inclined to what's happening this days, it won't be that hard... There are   old pals that still could use computer... There are also some of those old people who have been in training's and seminars about computer and sometimes even programming sponsored by their company and some teachers sponsored by their school..So most probably they could, but only few and not all..
To be honest, there aren't that much people out there that aren't computer oriented. Most old people know that you can do incredible stuffs on your computer that would be quite hard to get done in other ways. Old people are more mature than us and I think that they can easily understand stuffs unless they've decided to not embrace new things in life.

You can explain how to earn bitcoins to them like how you've explained it to people in your age. But most of the time, old people aren't interested in earning bitcoins (or money in general) anymore because they've done all sorts of stuffs to earn money back in the day already. Why would they need to go online and earn bitcoins if they have money on them or if their children are giving them money anyway?
2183  Economy / Lending / Re: urgently in need of 0.03btc loan on: August 22, 2016, 12:48:43 PM
Name:btcdevil
Loan:0.03btc
repay:0.033btc

Collateral: Signed message from bitcointalk account wallet address.

Dude, that's not collateral at all. Signed message is simply a message that you can use to verify your ownership of that account. You can't sell a signed message in the market. Grin
2184  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SIGNS OF SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: August 22, 2016, 12:43:18 PM
@ fatanut your signature reminded of a campaign about cryptocoin mixer that came out the same day, promising huge pay out structure but everything turns out to be a scam including its website but one cannot be too careful due to the nature of human.
Can there be any concrete sign to watch for in order to know real from scam signature campaign?
This is my previous post over and over again.
1. Bitsler has been there for a while now.
2. We have an escrow. Actually there's no escrow only a campaign manager, they pay on the website.
3. The owner isn't some Jr. Member or a Newbie account.
4. The website has a lot of players (sign that they can actually pay)
5. The website looks professional.

IMO, if you can't trust the person you're working with or you don't trust the company you want to apply on, then it's not on the company. It's not their fault. It's yours.
2185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: August 22, 2016, 12:25:11 PM
The real way to turn gambling into profit is to stop it and start doing something else like sports and concentrating on your studies or job.
+1. Don't know why people didn't even quote this comment. There's no way that you can turn gambling into a profitable activity unless you're both skilled and lucky. Some people think that you can think of a solid strategy that can make you earn money in the long run. In actuality, there isn't any. You would always come to a point that the losing streak is so long that you'll lost all your money together with the profit that you already have. Stop gambling and use your money somewhere else.
2186  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Gambling Discrimination on: August 22, 2016, 12:09:25 PM
Have you ever experienced discrimination as a gambler like people are saying a bunch of hurtful stuffs about your gambling hobby.

AND WHAT DO YOU DO IN THESE KIND OF SITUATION?
Hurtful stuffs? Well,

People will laugh at you, discriminate you, no matter what. They have the rights to do so anyway, they have the rights to say their opinions over things. The only problem that I can see in here is that you're getting hurt with what they are saying. You know why? It's because you're telling yourself that it's true when most of the time, it isn't.

You should know that there are tons of trolls out there. If your gambling hobby is different from them but it's working for you, then be it. Stick to it, just don't chat on the chatbox already. The reason why they recognized you and your gambling hobby is because you've talked to them before. Move on and ignore them all from now on.
2187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: SIGNS OF SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: August 22, 2016, 12:01:50 PM
but the participants does not have any rule in order to join any signature programme making us to be a prey to some scam stars.
Agreed, but, you can just be cautious in joining a signature campaign instead of just jumping into joining them once you see their thread.

What are the things to watch for in a campaign before we can certify it legit or not?
If you take a look at the signature campaign table, a lot of campaigns has been using an escrow now. Usually, the escrow is also the campaign manager. This does not only prove that they will and they are able to pay you, but it proves that their company is well-funded too. On the other hand, absence of escrow doesn't necessarily mean that the website will not pay you.

I personally just look at the website of the signature campaign and if it looks legit, or if it has been there for a while already (trusted website) then I'm fine with it. But if the website is new, not professional looking (optional), has no escrow and the owner is just a low ranked member, then I'm not joining it. I'm not going to advertise a company like that.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: August 21, 2016, 09:34:36 AM
Gambling means to put something at risk in hopes of having profit back, investing on the other hand is using your money as a capital at something. Which one do you think is safer? Even though those two things might look the same, they aren't. Investing will always be preferable over gambling.

Investing doesn't always mean putting your money on investment sites. You can always invest on yourself, you are your own asset anyway. I personally would use my money to educate myself. Luckily enough, I have other people to support me on my education. Education can never be stolen, it's one of the things that you can treasure for a lifetime.

2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need bustabit advice on: August 21, 2016, 09:13:22 AM
Do you guys really think that bustabit is provable fair?
Yes. Even though I doubt that Ryan would actually care about this, go and PM RHavar if you want to know more.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin worst decision you will ever make? on: August 21, 2016, 09:09:24 AM
To gamble it.
I agree. To feel as if you're some kind of hustler and you can take down the gambling site is just one of the worst ideas that would ever pop up on your mind. Majority of people that are gambling are doomed to lose their money after a while. They are also doomed to become addicted to it if they continue having the same mindset that they will one day beat the house.
2192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2016, 09:04:18 AM
You don't have to worry on that one because i heard a rumor that in the next updates it would now be possible to battle with other players. As of now we just have to keep on hunting pokemons.
Do you mind giving us a link or is it just another news from a fan? A lot of people were disappointed in the launch when they find out that you can't battle other players.

Yep, the only difference of Pokemon Go and its major downside over the real Pokemon experience is that you cannot battle other people. You can only go outside and spend hours walking/running to catch Pokemon with no other reason but to battle the gym leader. You can't compete with your friend unless your friend is a gym leader.

Despite of all the bugs and glitches of Pokemon Go, earning some real money out of it would be really good and would be a way to introduce Bitcoin to PokemonGo users and vice versa.
Many people right now are making money in this game there is people that autopilot for there account to catch all pokemon go after that they will give back it to owner and receive a payment.. almost $20 usd to $100 usd for this service online.. but its still good that if there is someone can contact the devs of pokemon go try to offer bitcoin as payment and add their payment processor i think it can help for bitcoin to know by other people..
Adding bitcoin to Pokemon Go would also mean putting a trading feature. Putting a trading feature would even be better but it would make the Pokemons less valuable since you'd be able to buy/sell from other people and most people that has rare pokemons are just using bots to get them. And since a lot of people are doing this method, the supply in the market would be a lot = Pokemons even less valuable.

The PokemonGo services right now is overpriced to be honest considering the efforts that's needed. Anyone that has a computer can download a PokemonGo bot software. But just like in other games, that service will later on become cheaper and cheaper.
2193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2016, 08:40:39 AM
It would be great, if implemented would certainly help to promote the currency.
Our currency doesn't need any promotion at all. The bitcoin community is good as it is. Although some extra amount of people and some new whales would be good but you don't wanna fill this community with people that has an IQ that only do nothing but play Pokemon Go all day.

buy and selling pokemons are really a good business since there are 100m users of pokemon go right now. I will probably be buying pokemon with a cheaper price using bitcoin then sell them in fiat. In anyways i can also hunt it for my self then sell it in fiat or bitcoin

Playing pokemon go is really fun being able to fulfill a childhood dream of catching pokemons. When I am watching cartoons, I would imagine myself being part of it and doing it in real life is a dream come true. If I am earning bitcoin also, that would be a plus because I am enjoying even though I am not earning from it how much more if I earn from it.

2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need bustabit advice on: August 20, 2016, 09:04:22 AM
Thanks I'll read their method. I've read somewhare that high rollers always wins is that true?
Mind giving a link to that "somewhere"? There might be some theories out there about this and that but most of them aren't true at all if you ask Ryan (the admin of BustaBit) and the other staffs. Their script is fully random, they can give you a link to the codes if you ask them in the chatbox. The chances of you winning when you bet 1,000,000 bits and the chances of you winning when you bet 100 bits are the same.

Everything depends on luck. The use of script and autobetting is just for people who either have no time or have no skills or too lazy to bet.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: August 20, 2016, 08:58:19 AM
Working is always the way to make money. And the people who know saves money is the key to have big money.
Not at all. The majority of people thinks that if you work harder and harder and harder, you'll eventually get rich. In the outside world, this is a misconception. Rich people doesn't have to go outside and work as hard as they could just to become rich. They worked "smarter" instead of doing harder the exact same thing that they do before.

There's this saying that goes like this: "An average worker works harder to become successful. But an exceptional worker sharpens his saw most of the time." The latter basically is the one who actually reaches better success with lesser effort.
2196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need bustabit advice on: August 20, 2016, 08:45:14 AM
Is there any script that works?
Any script that has no invalid syntax and has no logical error works on BustaBit. If you mean that gets you money after a long run, then I doubt there's any. I've been playing BustaBit before and a lot of people have been there for a year or two already. I'm pretty sure some of them have been trying new scripts every now and then, do they have a money making script as of today? No. Most of the scripts lose in the long run.

or it is just a game of luck?
If you've been around for a longer time, then you might have stumbled upon Purities and kapiwro18 (I guess, go search them). They don't use scripts, they do manual betting. They change their bet amount and target multiplier depending on how many times they have lost already. Go and try to read kapiwro18 moves.
2197  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: August 20, 2016, 07:30:26 AM
Of course they can earn bitcoin
they can claim faucet which no need any skills and much effort
or enroll any easy giveaways
We all know that they can do that but i think we do not need to push the kids to do that because that is not line of business for their age, they need to focus on study and playing and not to earn at early age.
Yes, I think so too, it’s quite easy for everyone to earn bitcoin by claiming faucets especially for children because it doesn’t need any specific skills or knowledge, just need them to click and wait but the thing is that kids don’t need to earn money at an early age.

This is the time for them to study and play with their friends and do outdoors activities not to stick their eyes on the computer all day and earn bitcoin, which will create bad habit for them.

Adults have been whining about doing the same thing over and over everyday at work. Imagine your kid doing faucets at home. All he'll do is solve captcha just to earn some dollars which in the first place, the parents should have given him. Also, if the kid starts working at an early age, he will not stop working anymore. Doing faucets might become a habit of a child and he will miss a lot of things in this world. His childhood will basically be ruined if earning bitcoins becomes his habit.
2198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 20, 2016, 06:15:50 AM
~Snip~
i means we already know the Flappy Bird and the Flappy Coin application before
so why not if Pokemon Go have a similar one maybe called Pokemon Coin Grin
Even if you acquire God skillz in Flappy coin, you're just going to earn dust. Also, flappy coin is so boring, the gameplay and the graphics is the worst, the game of flappy coin isn't even the dev/owner's idea. The only advantage of flappy coin over your "pokemon coin" idea is that you can't cheat in flappy coin.

Pokemon Coin might be a "good" idea but there are tons of people out there that are using bots and Fake GPS, if they really do implement this idea, then they are just giving away money to buggers.
2199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [A Likely SCAM] HybridMixer.com on: August 19, 2016, 01:47:07 PM
Their ANN thread is now closed after uncaer9's posted this. They have closed their signature campaign thread as well. Oh well, everything was too-good-to-be-true anyway. While their closing of threads doesn't directly prove that they are scamming people, I have removed them from the signature campaign table.
2200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if POKEMON GO let people earn Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2016, 01:34:32 PM
If people are going to buy/sell Pokemons, then the application should have a trading feature for this to happen which the app obviously don't have. I think if this idea gets implemented, it will only make the bot-users and GPS fakers push harder and get the rare pokemons. As of now, there are not much interactions that you can do with PokemonGo, all you can do is catch pokemon and battle the gym leader (AKA guy who's obviously using bot and/or fake GPS) so buying/selling pokemons would be for the sole purpose of collecting them.
