221  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 26, 2016, 10:31:27 PM
invest it always but learn how to so you dont get burned or invest in the wrong things
yeah I think you have to be careful with such an investment Ponzi and hyip. because it is likely you are to make a profit would be less than the risk that you will encounter. so I think it's better seek investments that have a low risk. although earnings will also be lower

most people are aware of those things - and being red flags.

what most people should be looking into is certain alt coins that are being promoted - and getting suckered to their pump and dumps.
222  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: July 26, 2016, 10:29:47 PM
Okay this saved me some time and headache.

Since I was debating on shift since I`m in the US, but I`m actually just turned off by coinbase in general on how they handle customers situations so I think I`ll choose either the xapo option or 1st option mentioned.
223  Economy / Speculation / Re: 350 USD in August on: July 26, 2016, 10:25:44 PM
The question then becomes is op, how do you expect this would be a bubble?

Do you feel like something is against bitcoin to make things go down? cause you failed to mention why? then giving just saying its a bubble.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 26, 2016, 10:22:15 PM
The way I see it, its already being done.

You notice how coinbase is more of a overseerer for the feds or just towards against darknet stuff as well keeping a clean house even with gambling stuff.

Anyone won at a casino and used a coinbase address will find a unresponsive account later down the road.

If it ever comes down to it, coinbase would be the government partnered bitcoin hub..
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: July 26, 2016, 10:17:42 PM
For me the halving seems to be a moment in time where the price needs to go up else miners will face financial problems.
The usual spirit is that the price and adoption depends on news.

Its more of market reactions then news.. since some news dont have effect on what people think but it does give it a chance to promote for price flux.

I mean you got different type of traders / investors so all the price flux though is usually caused by daytraders.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: July 26, 2016, 10:13:59 PM
Whats consider a average holding by now?

I cash out my bitcoin so often I wonder how much i would really have - if I wasnt so based off saving price points incase bad movements come.

I only have like 0.3 btc at the moment sadly.
227  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: July 26, 2016, 10:05:12 PM
I dont see why anyone would sell when theres worlds crisis on-going will happen.

Esp things that have not have happened yet with the russia/nato situation and other crazy global stuff.
228  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: July 26, 2016, 09:55:03 PM
I will prefer to hold it till the end of the year as price will be on top in future so I will not take any risk with my coins as saving is the safest way to grow coins.

Never know what can happen during the year cycle though lol.

But based on your response I`m assuming you`d have some sort of contingency plan for it.
229  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 26, 2016, 09:46:10 PM
Loans are too risky if you ask for huge amount which you can't affors to repay back, or if you give loan without getting a valid collateral. Otherwise i don't think it's risky way
I think if we are a borrower and lender will extend a loan to us without any collateral then that would be in our advantage. As much as possible we should pay the amount due to have our reputation maintain in this forum, it is not easy to build such reputation and we are just going to risk for a small loan.
You are in part right. Deposit may be. But it should not be too large. Otherwise, the credit does not make sense. It is possible and without any collateral at all. It was the same time when it was valued word of an honest man. Why now, we have ceased to trust people? Of course, it all depends on the amount. Not everyone decide without insurance, or give someone money. But why not start small?

nobody in his right mind will give you a loan without collateral maybe you can borrow a small amount of money from a relative and give it back later but that is not called a loan.
all banks will take some kind of collateral or some kind of assurance that if you didn't pay they can act on it to get their money+profit back.
What a country ?! Personally, I currently available credit up to $ 50,000. The amount is not big. But it is issued without collateral and unnecessary problems. All the above requires a guarantee. And only a certain amount require collateral. But usually it is enough to provide the documents on ownership of movable or not movable property.

If youre lending that sum for no collateral I have no words.

Anyone in the right mind getting that loan has to have something equal to the value to represent something near that value they want to lend - if they want a lower rate. Also a lender takes all the risks since they hoping their job will last them long enough for finish the payment cycle for their loan.

Before having to use someone collect it for then.
230  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Someone scammed me $9000 (13.4BTC) through Skype. on: July 26, 2016, 09:28:33 PM
cant really feel sorry for you since you scammed others based on your reputation.

as for the comment of knowing what to do - should be the money transmitters customer support / and taking it to them then here.

present your case - even if its denied let them know and move onto your legal conditions of your best move. When you moved $9k this had to be some sort of trust thing based off a previous business relationship I`m assuming and got screwed over?
231  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.tm not cashing out my winnings (over $20,000) 2 days now still no answer on: July 26, 2016, 09:18:31 PM
I wouldnt touch a new unknown gambling site - and this is my 1st time hearing about them..

So my level of touching a casino needs to be in business for minmum of 2 years if they want my money lol. But even then you`ll never really know if a operator goes rogue one day on you.. so its your level of risk what you can lose at the end of the day.
232  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DHL shipping issues, who is at fault? need advice (squall1066 vs BITMAIN) on: July 26, 2016, 09:15:29 PM
Damn man, I`m glad your hosting facility pulled through at some levels to mine your gear and the situation.  Smiley

Not much we can do if their main carrier is DHL - just hope they adopt a new carrier and let everyone this can be them for their next possible order.

Its really shitty how they handled everything.. if I`m that big - I should be aware already that DHL does have problems so I fork down the cost to save a horrible incident from happening to make more money..

Everyone reading this - BOOKMARK THIS.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 26, 2016, 09:08:45 PM
Saving money is not a hard job at all but it still is true that some people have trouble with it, I think that these people spend to much money when they have received money.
You always need to set a max of how much money you can spend per week.
nope I think the store is a difficult thing if the store is a simple matter of course everyone will not have problems in managing their finances and may be able to overcome the problem of waste and spending too much. but you see a lot of people extravagant and buy what they want you to know they are difficult to save money

It all depends on individuals lifestyle. If earnings are less and, expenses are more then surely savings will be hard. But if one start keeping out a little bit of money every month and try to manage their costs from the left over money then they can save some money over the time. But these days all prices are going up without any limit, and it makes very hard for average people to save money.
Yeah,  I agree with what you said. In these days,  all the prices of our everyday necessities are going up  without any limit. Ad it is really hard to save especially for those below people (like).
And the worst thing is we invest our money with banks the interest are not adjusted that is why inflation happens. That is really the problem if you are just savings money for the future without considering to invest as you money's worth is decreasing in value.
You can find better than investing in bank with just small interest bitcoin is good way to earn more in investing , if you pick a right choice investment you will get profit more than the bank giving to you an small amount interest.

Save it in fixed deposits to earn more interests annually as saving money in the banks is the safest way and even if something goes wrong with your money then bank will help you in recovering it.

To those who are reading this - do your own homework lol.

Because obviously this view is flawed to a certain extent - yes they will protect your money if something goes wrong - but up to how much? lol. anything over $250k is un-recoverable.
234  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag: Unresolved Issues on: July 26, 2016, 09:02:19 PM
Got another one to add to the list:

Betcoin player hits progressive Jackpot worth over BTC500, Betsoft won't pay and Betcoin attempts to cover it up with lies

Pretty serious accusation against Betcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.0

Cliffs:

JasonOrt bets max with .5 denom on Glam-Life and triggers 4 extra spins.

On 4th spin he gets 5 yacht symbols and wins 1000 credits, not jackpot.

Pay table says:

(No other rules found anywhere about Jackpot)

A) Betcoin tells him he was not eligible because it was a free spin and attempt to shame him by telling him most players know what he does not:
Quote
most players understand that it is a bonus or free round and there are different outcomes because of that.
Then lock his thread: https://www.betcoin.ag/should-pay-line-have-won-jackpot-glam-life, and delete most of the comments.

Jasons Defense:
GreedyGoblins is another slot with a progressive Jackpot offered by the same service provider.
Here you can see they clarify that even though the freespin round offers multipliers, the jackpot can not be multiplied.  This implies that the jackpot is not excluded during free spins.

B) Betsoft Gaming tells him he was not eligible because he did not bet max with the highest denomination.

Quote
Thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that your win was correct in this situation. A maximum bet for this game is the highest denomination which is 1.00, whereas in this particular round, you bet 0.50, even though you chose 'Max Bet', the jackpot is only won when it is the maximum bet (1.00).

Jasons Defense:

Every denomination clearly has an independant jackpot.  When you switch denominations, the jackpot changes.

On casinolistings.com they track bovadas Glam Life Jackpot.  It's clear they are independant and all denominations are eligible:

The owner of casinolistings.com also chimed in: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1517648.msg15313569#msg15313569

Finally we have the comments of plo8monster, Betcoins lone site "pro" and the father half of the father/son chat mods.

While being discussed in chat he sided with Betcoin immediately:
Quote
plo8monster: thats totally not true lol ungod ... the bonus max out at 1000chips, and the vendor has that rule .. betcoin dont pay it the vendor does ... you guys all jump on bandwagon ... but these are vendors that do sports and casino games ..... I dont have time to get into this tonight ...but the vendor limits bonus wins @ 1000 chips .... if he were spending his money and made that spin he would be Phat with coin

After the story was clear, 2 days later, he made these statements:
Quote
plo8monster: i told you im not gonna to join that conversation ..im a poker pro smart enuf not to play slots ...i played maybe 10 times in my life
plo8monster: i am not knowledgable about slots
plo8monster: slots is not something i can help with i know zero about them
plo8monster: I had a roomate at that time playing my slots and showing me how with my bonuses ... but i am not a slots player
plo8monster: why ya gotta be such a biiiish twitchy
plo8monster: this issue with Jason is NOT MY BUSINESS ... how many times must i tell you same thing it is waste of time

Hopefully Betcoin will have time to respond to this sometime between thanking users for kind words and going home for the weekend.

Oh almost forgot, the jackpot was 1,007,249.91 credits at .5mbtc denomination.  (503.6249 BTC current value of ~$383,000)

The thread for that I remember reading just turned me off so yeah wont be even bothering with playing over there.

How they honor the situation - despite every casino being a greyish area for everyone / but every casino operator handles things differently.. so who am I to say.

But if I was the person who won hitting that and not getting what was promised - i would be so jaded.

I mean if you dont have the money to pay someone out like those progressive jackpots- then atleast make an attempt on a payment system in the customers eyes.
235  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Caution : Possible scam attemp!!!! on: July 26, 2016, 08:43:38 PM
I mean unless they provide actual staked address they been using only for that account the longer the better.

To actually sign a message for it - then that basically avoids the hassle to see what you saw.

And if the message can be verified by you checking it..
236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can the internet reboot Africa? on: July 26, 2016, 08:32:09 PM
Its not just africa - its poor countries in general that dont have the resources to know whats going on...

Think about it - if you grew up in a poverish country and expect to know what an iphone 7 youd be way ahead then most in that country since you know the internet.

Its about the resources that is available to them.
237  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: July 26, 2016, 08:28:25 PM
This is a on-going debate on religion so no comment on that.

And for non-blievers of that religion is frowned upon because we dont believe in your religion? that in itself is pretty digusting concept - over the years theres people who also make the religion into a business as well.

Lets not get started with scientology, etc. This is why I just stay away, higher power then me then yes.
238  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Save the planet or not on: July 26, 2016, 08:24:46 PM
Knowing man kind we have a gentle kind side - but overall we have a parasitic mind based on our history destroying everything lol.

So basically if I had to bet on the global warming and everything else - yeah it`ll be a bad turn out how its now but way worse.
239  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World war 3 will start in 2016-2020 or not? on: July 26, 2016, 08:16:09 PM
Its not a rumor when you already see us troops tranining around with the polish people and the surrounding countries of russia for a response action.

So the question is - the 2 parties need to meet before the coldwar actually stats something off esp with the nato/russia situation.

You already seen it with the russian ruble being way down.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: July 26, 2016, 05:43:56 AM
I am earning money with faucets and signature campaings, but i think that better earn some money with cloud mining or just mining and trading.

It is really a good thing to earn with bitcoin by means of faucets and signature campaign. But in faucet, it is very a tiring way because even you are going to work for it everyday for 24 hours you are just going to earn a small amount. But you can try to allot your income in faucets in trading so that you can grow it. Haven't you guys learned a lesson about cloud mining?

It shouldnt be relied on too heavily..

Eventually you have to grow out of that stage and start providing a need in the market to gain profit in bitcoin or make it in your fiat form to trade back in bitcoin.

It shouldnt be any different from wanting to make money traditionally.
