1181  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if my account has positive trust is it value pushed up? on: August 20, 2015, 03:59:18 AM
If the account has lots of trusted sources, it be used to launch their own website or future btc ventures.

Then theres the other evil route where someone would just buy it for scam purposes for a 1 time big hit. You`ll be suprised though that most people arent selling their accounts to reduce the scamming here on the forum.
1182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: XT, hard fork, ... for beginner ! on: August 20, 2015, 03:55:20 AM
The crash was more of a insider thing at bitfnex im pretty sure...

If you see the time frams that sell off happened very short, then with a speedy recovery to go back up. As for the hard fork, just wait it out on how people react.

I`m sure theres going to be reddit threads before or on the day of..
1183  Economy / Speculation / Re: You all know it's going to crash? on: August 20, 2015, 03:49:45 AM
What now, fart?

now wait the bottom and buy for a huge profit

the question then becomes is when is the bottom? lol.

I never really question that there is a real bottom, unless it did hit $2 range for a horrific reason. But its based on the persons choice of really what they feel is cheap then hoping and waiting for it.
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much money do i need to start becoming a whale on: August 20, 2015, 03:47:51 AM
how much you say?

google the top richest addresses, and the lowest #`s will be around 2,000 btc.

Everyone else has way more then 2,000, but the 2,000 mark is a whale entry.

current rates, that translates to 560,000 esti.

Half a milli aint a whale.

Half a mill is the lowest whale. You can brush up on the richest address to the lowest, and the ones that still reach being a whale.

They have 2,000 btc. Type in the richest btc address and then see the lowest you`ll see the range.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this price scaring anyone ? on: August 20, 2015, 03:45:49 AM
I feel the real scare will come once we actually get to the bitcoin split.

Or the transfer times of people knowings whats going on with the btc xt process. traditional wallet owners not online ones will see a difference in speed but not sure how much it`ll weigh in to effect price.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who here has bought sub 225 in the past couple days? on: August 20, 2015, 03:40:59 AM
Saying that we are too poor to go buy btc is a bit naive lol.

But I guess it falls upon the age bracket on this forum.. and the average btc holder in general.  I personally lost a ton of btc back in 2012, but left with a few coins.

I plan on buying in once the btc xt horror panic moment happens.
1187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Its time for the campaign runners to raise your pathetic rates on: August 20, 2015, 03:36:41 AM
Just know its not too much of a work when you make constructive posts, and half the people dont even do this and get away with getting paid.

So instead of complaining, and they just close their campaign you should just pick up another way to earn btc.

If the rates are absurdly that low, most will just leave or just post whenever they do instead of the pay.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: I need bitcoin to be $690 to break even.....will I make it? on: August 18, 2015, 11:13:44 PM
I think bitcoin will have similar effects like how we wanted to pass the marajuana law for the state level and for federal.

Its going through it now, while it takes so many years for acceptance that eventually a couple states consider it legal. I think bitcoin will be the same for a similar or faster process depending on the public.
1189  Economy / Economics / Re: Biggest personal bitcoin loss on: August 18, 2015, 11:11:39 PM
invested in cloudminr.io 0.18BTC
cloudminr.io is now closed Smiley

sorry to hear that..it has a 10% trust rating in scamadviser

yeah that cloudmining site did more harm then good, but it should of been a red flag from the start.

most people ignored the pbmining incident and still invested with cloudminr.io.

Greek Crisis - Breakdown Of Situation With Mike Maloney
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QowxTnF02DU

Its great that this guy explains what most of us know.

But, that guy also a gold selling person on his websites, and other book selling on gold. So the video is more of a indirect pitch to buy your trust as a "come buy my gold by me" since I showed you a educational video and now you trust me thing.

I think it's fine if he really believes in gold. No shame in profiting from something if you think that's what the world needs.

I think his point is overlooked. That hes mentionign its another sales person to increase gold sales.

But yeah, if the world needs gold why not invest in it. Just depends on the sizable risk.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: August 18, 2015, 11:07:42 PM
I think despite on peoples doubt with the value.

If most of our transactions for bitcoin is towards gambling I think the gambling industry itself can explode our value if they use it just for gambling purposes.

I only see then to retire, but eventually if I saw a growing # onling gambling sites to adopt it.
1192  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Gift Cards on: August 18, 2015, 11:04:36 PM
fyi, I would look at other gift card threads that have more traction and see what they are doing right.

for one I can see that you have little to no rep, which then boils down to using a form of escrow.

Theres much more, but you also need to reassure some type of warranty as well.
1193  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Brand new and sealed iPhone 6. on: August 18, 2015, 11:02:12 PM

1194  Economy / Economics / Re: How much do you think silver will go to? on: August 18, 2015, 10:59:31 PM
I think silver is highly undervalued and should be at least on par with gold, maybe its boom is just a little bit behind gold?

It depends on who the distribution of silver will be in the future. China controls most of the silver supply and manipulates the prices. But as the demand rises the price will change accordingly.

Despite who holds how much silver like china or other valuable metals. They only move holding it cause they eventually want to be a world reserve currency like u.s.

The value will high if the actual commodity is in a high demand for it based on manufacturing alone. But just keep in mind that if there is replacements to create something like that  missile that was used for, there can be cheaper elements to assemble something people will move towards it.
1195  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: August 18, 2015, 10:51:36 PM
This is all to say that you cannot cancel out a debt with another debt; you cannot make payment on a debt with a promise to pay (bank note); that is not a payment and discharge of the debt.
Demand lawful money and full discharge, and start utilizing the alternative currency that is in place. See my earlier posts here.

Quote from: Peaceful Revolution Network link=http://www.xat.org/xat/moneyhistory.html
There is no way this debt can ever be paid, it has and will continue to increase.

If the government did find a way to pay off the debt, the result would be that there would be no bonds to back the currency, so to pay the debt would be to kill the currency.
(Red colorization mine.)

“Tax revenue” is a form of collateral for the loans provided to governments by central banks.
(Blue colorization added.)

In the US, the people are the gold that backs the currency, and the currency is the signature.
By using an endorsement before the signature and on the face of the bill, you can qualify the instrument being negotiated.
For example, discharging bills (which are really credit vouchers in disguise) and receiving your pay in tax-free notes.
In the US, it is only a presumption that the people are debtors; they are really the creditors but too few are asserting their rights!

Just remember the central bank aka federal reserve is a private bank.

Its a bank that has share holders for only with banks, and that itself is crazy. So when we pay our taxes we are only paying back the banks in a different form which then goes to the actual private banks.
1196  Economy / Economics / Re: This is how 0.037 Bitcoins looks like in Venezuela on: August 18, 2015, 10:45:09 PM
If the conditions persists to be stagnant , i will move to Venezuela or Zimbabwe or Argentina.
I had embraced BTC over 2 years back and i have some sufficient amount.
Please keep updating this thread as it invokes light in me.

Um, you sure? I think it would be a better idea to calculate pros and cons on a macro level and identify what could go wrong and if it is really sensible. Investing in real estate is smart, only if you are fully satisfied with all aspects which makes it affordable.

I say its only worth your time if you feel like their economy can fight the uphill battle.

I dont read the future, but theres no need to rush into real estate if I get the sense people are fighting someone over a can of sardines. Although maybe improved situations and knowing certain information would be a plus.
1197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: August 18, 2015, 10:40:32 PM
1 btc a year is very do-able.

The person doesnt have to do much to get it, and post the regular amount to get their earnings, and not be tempted towards anything with using the bitcoin..esp for gambling purposes.

1198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 18, 2015, 10:38:40 PM
I wouldnt recommend online wallets, unless youre using it to gamble or make a temp purchase.

Most of the known online wallets like blockchain had way too many incidents that are overlooked. I suggest to stick with desktop wallets and only migrate some portions of bitcoin if you feel like need to use it.

Its just really how its being used.
1199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: laundering bitcoins? on: August 18, 2015, 10:25:58 PM
Having bitcoins is laundering itself, since you can use services to add on hiding to trace the locations.

But in itself though its a money transmitter so, laundering money is not that hard as long the value stays the same for a period. The only people using it for laundering is the volatility which they dislike.
1200  Economy / Speculation / Re: will those that intervened at $177 do so again. on: August 18, 2015, 10:24:14 PM
I don't think there is a need for any group to intervene and manipulate the price. Bitcoin does have support, and even tho i doubt price will fall under
$200, even if it does, there's no chance it will stay there. The only think that i am certain off is this; The more we come closer to block halving, the more
debates, news, and FUD will be thrown in people's faces.

I say it would stay at a price point temporarily, but most will take it as a serious sign which they should depending on the latest news of bitcoin.

Despite being a great money transmitter, its only if technical situations arise like how we are about to split the bitcoin w. the whole block debate. And after they do it based on how transaction times respond.
