1101  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: September 08, 2015, 11:37:12 PM
The more people use bitcoin, the more it becomes stronger.Prices may go down but it value would always be higher compared to fiat money of many countries

The prices go the other way around, if its in demand.

Yeah, in services that maybe true. But, you gotta consider bitcoin being not just a service tool, esp being a money trasnmiter.
1102  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: September 08, 2015, 11:29:25 PM
If the world reserve currency which is the dollar dies, another fiat form would take its place.

Meaning another country took the initiative which all points to china. Thats if we really did see the dollar collapse, but when we do see this it`ll be in stages im sure.
1103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [CATALOG] Good websites to Invest My Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2015, 11:19:53 PM
I suggest to avoid btcjam out of those list.

If I find the thread again ill link it here, but about their loan services, on the investors side it sucks. I mean most of the stories I heard was some guy was never paid back etc, etc.

But the person showed a screen capture on the spread btc amounts to see, and overall maybe like a few at most recouped and the rest scammed and ran away w. the btc.

1104  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: September 08, 2015, 10:42:56 PM
holding it is the best way but slowest way i know and if u want faster, do investing or gamble it

I think the slow way is better than faster way because gambling so risky
you can earn much money faster but you can loose it imidiately
maybe invest your money on reputable site, looks good

Right, investing in a site and be the house is a good option, i just see a list with trusted sites to invest, i will share it with you:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1136572.0

Keep in mind, if you are considering this you gotta have a bankroll.

Just assume if a whale gets a massive win, those are the times when the bankroll will be needed the most. Its still a sizable risk. But, its a better option then most things to return for your btc and outside from loaning..

Dont be naive and assume a whale wont hit it big.
1105  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 08, 2015, 10:31:29 PM
Bitcoin must be sold in one way or another.

Or how exactly you want a liquid economy in bitcoin?

Imagine if all the miners who mined bitcoin would have never sold them, then bitcoin would never exist, as the trading volume also determines the value of the coin.

And for each buy you need a sell, so sorry but your logic is flawed OP!

You are the one who is flawed. Bitcoin miners would pay their electricity with the Bitcoin they mined.
You are basically saying that if an economy were based on gold, then miners would never sell the gold and thus gold would never exists. Really ?

That said, there is a price were I would get rid of my Bitcoin, not necessary against fiat, but this depends on many factors.
The better question is : At which point do you feel sufficiently wealthy so you stop producing but start consuming your capital ?

On my part, I would say between 1 and 2 Million worth of USD. The problem is that I like programming on bitcoin so much, that after 1 month I doubt my life would be different from today. Smiley

Its ideal, but not realistic.

The reason is because the rate needs to be at a minimum high, and cant fall any lower then that # or else the bitcoin miner itself will eventually be in the red if the rates were to drop.

Rates that make a $100 difference will hurt you faster and you`ll have to figure out how to recover that for each time the rate goes down. Remind you still have to pay the exact amount each month for your electricity cost.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 08, 2015, 10:22:31 PM
Because maybe sometime, the Bitcoin price will gone high to $100000 and then i will buy for much money Smiley

Your valuation is just nothing but hopes and dreams friend lol.

You gotta come back down on the ground with a sense of reality that this coin needs foundation of an event that leads to that point.

Hopes and dreams dont pay lol.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: September 08, 2015, 10:16:52 PM
The thing with most of these ponzi schemes is that it is the late investors who end up losing all their money. If you are an early investor, who is intelligent enough to decide what is the best time to pull the plug, then these ponzis and HYIPs can turn out to be a boon for you. Off course, the risks are there, so be cautious.

Unfortunately, most people consider themselves to be of "above average" intelligence.
I have seen a lot of people knowingly investing in ponzis and then whining when it goes bust.

Well if you an intelligence person, you will not investing in ponzi, HYIP or MLM Grin

People too greedy and they only want to earn profit with easy way, without research first.

Yeah greed usually screws you over lol.

It pretty much makes you blind, I mean its common sense to observe, but theres people who know that and still put a huge sum into those things.

Hence the cycle continues...
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin investing on: September 08, 2015, 09:53:29 PM
sometimes its risky to invest bitcoins because of like ponzi schemes
i've seen talking ppl around here Smiley

Holding the bitcoin itself is a risk, only if the value drops to zero. But what are the odds of that.

As for your comment on ponzis, its been a common one and they come in different forms.

Esp in the investor rounds section thread where you see people hoping to put 0.01 in and get like some .1 btc back is a bit dumb lol.
1109  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: September 08, 2015, 09:24:34 PM
i can see bitcoin 5 years from now being shown in our local telivision as an advertisement, topic on a talk show, news and etc.
i can't wait for it happen especially local bitcoin related services being aired and advertised on local tv

It was on the news for the chinese at one point, when they were heavily promoting it but this was back 2 years agoish.

I dont know about now. But, yeah its possible.

I dont know if its anytime soon even within the 5 year reach to be honest. Since bitcoin has a uphill battle with perception - people hear it and they naturally assume its a scam.
1110  Economy / Economics / Re: Google Ad Revenue on: September 08, 2015, 08:59:50 PM
well everyday a new code is made to work against those companies,of online ads ,for sure some people keep earning well  even without the fakes views we like to watch almost everything soo the same way we click on ads banners we will watch,we wanna see.

Personally i use an extension to hide most of the ads (Adblock)
If the ads are good are normal then i would let running, but there are many "erotic" ads
Like the "Whatsapp girls number" and many other which take to much ram and freeze my browser.
The forum uses html/css ads which are clear and give a good looking to the forum.

Ever since ad block I think most of us are seeing no commercials at all.

Unless its a site that wont lets you see the video or something if its enabled cause some sites do this now.

Its hard to imagine though, that theres people out there without ad block though.
1111  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people are using Bitcoin debit card? on: September 08, 2015, 08:57:18 PM
Bitcoin debit card was kinda interesting for me. I'm really planning to use it but had some difficulties choosing one. Do you guys have any recommendations?
I'm buying one from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=917350.0 you could check it out, or maybe stick with bit-x but I heard they had huge fees.

I checked this thread and also check in their website.
The rates it's a bit different from the real price of bitcoin (coindesk price vs e-coin.io rate)
Could you make a review and post here, i can't see any fee there just $17 for the card to be shipped.

Just like anything, I`m pretty sure you`ll see the fee after you get the card.

I know marketing does enough to think its only $17 but in reality they need to make a profit, which it`ll show after you use their card if you cant find it.
1112  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Bitcoin Ruin Your Life, Or Help Your Life? on: September 08, 2015, 08:08:31 PM
Bitcoin helped my life. Just like it is a source of my income also, and through this i also enjoyed some interesting things about bitcoin news, marketing etc. That's all bitcoin is helpful anyway Smiley

Awesome you managed bitcoin as source of your income? How you do that? You are only Junior Member here in this forum and doesn't wearing any signature so I will assume your method is really rocking.

He probably is selling something most likely, theres very little options outside from the signature aspect.

Either that or he has made several good trades to consider a partial source of income.
1113  Economy / Economics / Re: Did Bitcoin Ruin Your Life, Or Help Your Life? on: September 08, 2015, 07:42:08 PM
It helped my life to a certain extent lol.

Now I just need 5,000 more coins hahha. No, but really it actually did more good cause now theres a possibility to protect my money if bitcoin was ever to be constantly stable.
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: September 08, 2015, 07:39:35 PM
Think about it, if your Income Tax (cumulatively whatever % gets deducted from your income) is 50%

Then if you live 70 years (the average in europe) , then 35 years of your precious life, creativity, energy, and wealth gets wasted on some bureocrats, welfare junkies and politician corruption.

How else do you expect to pay for the welfare state you live in (and have profited from so far by now)?

How old are you now?

Have you gone to college or university? Ever been to a doctor or hospital? Got any kids? Ever driven a car on a public road? Ever eaten food that was regulated and controlled by a food inspector?

Ah c`mon dont gimme that bullshit. I`m 29 only paid for the welfare never received any.
  • I did go to college, and I paid for it, not much use for my diploma, it was a scam.
  • I`ve been to doctor, it's called health insurance, I pay that separately.
  • I`ve drove on public road, thats what property taxes are for.
  • I`ve eated food poisoned with all kinds of GMO, preservants and additives, no thanks fucking food inspectors.
I buy my vegetables directly from farmers usually and they are not inspected, I havent been poisoned yet by them. Yet the inspected foods in the stores are full with poison. Looks like another useless bureocrat job eh food inspectors?

But income tax? Fuck no, I only paid that, but never received any fucking benefit from it.

And it only grows like a cancer, because you have no fucking clue how the economy works. The income tax is a collateral for the debt of the country, so if the bureocrats overspend on shitty projects & corruption, guess how they will pay the interest on it. (kicking the can down the road for several generations until a global financial meltdown happens, the one that's just around the corner)

The income tax is the interest on the national debt, which was likely accumulated by people who lived before I was even born (so please think before you talk)

You sound like me, are you my long lost twin who juices coldpress juice  Smiley

Everything you just mentioned is on point, its the harsh reality lol. Income tax just blows, unless youre a big coropration like those big guys who do it really well and pay the pros to make it like 14%.

Making that off-shore tatic called the double irish sandwich, where their outer offices move their money into multiple placements lol.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4o13isDdfY

I`m just curious if they will ever use bitcoin at a huge level to cut those expenses.

1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's about to drop on: September 08, 2015, 06:42:16 PM
i also think it won't rise further, for now. $250 looks like an easy target but i don't think we'll see the price go over that level.

Doesn't matter. Even if it drops it won't go deeper than 220 or so. We're seeing a bottom here. Everytime the price went under 200 it bounced back immediately. So if you're not trading but be in for the long haul there is no reason to worry now.

Yeah, seen it way too many times lol. Goes down, then recovers 2 week periods or a bit more.

People jump ship then ended up going back in, cause it wouldnt fall any lower. The price wont go any lower, unless its a technical issue with bitcoin or something making people to drop the coin, and thats when I assume it`ll ever fall below.
1116  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 08, 2015, 06:38:54 PM
Pay off every single credit card debt, and have everything paid off.

Then the remainder money would be in 1% interest rates to pay partial on ones rent every month so its less stressful.
1117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 08, 2015, 06:37:24 PM
My friend Quit from his real Job
and noe he focus at internet earning, he trade altcoin at bittrex,
and he can pay school fees at private universities

i will Quit from my realjob Smiley
and im sure it
He should have a good volume of btc to get a good profit to pay the school fees. Currently i trade but not enough for tuition fee.

Esp the school cost these days, i think no one can.. if its possible its super hard.

$20k alone per year depending on how many years you still have left, which means that person has to clear profit like that each time. And thats outside from normal living expense from the college.

Anyone going full bitcoin is because they ended up like a success that has large volumes of profit like primedice, etc.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: How to measure it? on: September 08, 2015, 06:29:28 PM
Even if you feel the dollar is dying, and it looks fine for now, that's the most commonly used measure of value worldwide. And PM values are hopelessly manipulated and warped.

There are billions of ounces of gold and only 21 million possible coins. If it really did reach parity the price would be in the hundreds of thousands per coin.

This is one of many peopls delusion, but its the reason why people hope to hit it big just holding some coins.

Although, despite that route of hoping to get that value, we can assume it`ll be high if its used as a settlement coin within banks.

1119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Goxing?! Amagi Metals? on: September 08, 2015, 06:02:02 PM
If they owe you money, sue them. They're a Colorado corporation. Do it now. Don't wait.

I made the same comment about Mt. Gox months before the bankruptcy. Once they stop paying, sue IMMEDIATELY. You may be able to get your money back before they collapse.

Or depending on the amount do it indivually if its $1,000 or less with small claims.
1120  Economy / Speculation / Re: quiet before the storm. $18000 coming! on: September 08, 2015, 05:58:53 PM
Actually the value can happen, depending on a few rumors to be true.

And if its successful for ubs using this as a settlement coin within their other partner banks. If its good for one bank, then its most likely to be used for others.
