721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: April 19, 2016, 03:27:43 PM
how about investing in forexparadise.biz

there are many good reviews about this site

Op doesnt need to check out new websites like these...

They can just easily purchase 20k worth of bitcoins and just hold and thats a investment alone then taking risks on something new..

Esp on this forum, new websites, exchanges, and everything else that hasnt proven to stick around for more then 2 years should be avoided.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: April 19, 2016, 03:24:40 PM
I think it's better for a full-time trader to buy and sell on a weekly basis. Holding bitcoins for a month is just going to tie down your capital.

This should be avoided.

There should be a huge big disclaimer on what you mention - is based a 50/50 gamble if your trade is successful. Similar to day trading traditionally is the same odds as bitcoin.
723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am confused with trading.Help me out on: April 19, 2016, 03:17:01 PM
Thank you so much to everyone who posted here and shared their knowledge. It has helped me a lot and I hope will help others also.Trading is lucrative but it involves risk too and thanks for reminding me this and teaching basic of trading
This is the real function of forum to spread and share knowledge / experience.

Glad to hear it was helpful for you, just additional comment from me , if you are talking about trade bitcoin-fiat then I think it is needed large capital to start. Try trade on altcoin, you might can start trading with 1 btc capital only and you can earn more than 50% of your capital a day.

i don't agree with this, it doesn't matter how much you start with for trading no matter what you trade (bitcoin or altcoin) in both cases you can start with a small same size investment and make profit or lose money.
but altcoin have more profit but also more loss while bitcoin trading has less change.

This is why people should use the alt coin as a educational and stick with that route to earn back more in bitcoin.

As long you dont pay for the alt coins and trade and earn the alt coins through other ways should be fine.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want to buy bitcoin in just for 1second with debit/credit card. on: April 19, 2016, 03:14:55 PM
It really depends where youre from op, but most of these places are where you are from.

If you are in the states, theres is only coinbases debit card that will be shipped to you. Which is there swift card program.. and thats something you can consider transferring balances when you buy bitcoin from them.
725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: want to start mining on: April 19, 2016, 03:10:52 PM
My suggestion is you just look for a signature campaign you will not earn btc in mining right now because of the high class computers

I think the proper term here would be due to "ASIC" chips not high class computers which allow faster pace mining..

As for the signature comment, and its a yes and no.

Most of these signature providers also have a limit how many members are allowed in their campaign so if theres no room, youre kinda out of luck.
726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: April 19, 2016, 03:07:39 PM
Mine, Trade, Gamble, lend it to someone but all this involves great level of risk if you wanna play safe then try to go for signature campaign, as I feel that is best for me at a moment.

Mining i've heard is not profitable anymore because of electricity costs.
Trading can be the best among them, if you have some experience and a good capital then you can start trading altcoins and earn profit in no time, just do some research and ask some advises from experts and start trading with care.
Gambling is not a suggestion for collecting bitcoins i guess, if someone wants to spend their money then gambling can be considered though.
And lending is not something for someone not too old in this industry as it involves different type of risk, only senior users should be in that field, that's what i think.

earn free bitcoin by completing tasks is good for newbies and for who have time to do tasks, these types of sites require signing up, watching videos, viewing ads etc.

I haven't went through those websites paying for watching videos which increases the websites organic traffic. There are sites paying per click in terms of dollars but I expect those sites to pay in terms of bitcoin in future.

Usually those sites that provide those services, have a daily limit.

So you can only watch so many videos, cause I tried before a long time ago. But to add on what you said, if the person is doing these things.

They should just look into cashcrate since they offer more stuff.
727  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 19, 2016, 03:03:27 PM
I would only quit my day job if I would make millions with Bicoin. This will never happen I think so I will keep my day job and use Bitcoin just to make some extra money on the side.

Who says you cant? lol.

Its just a matter of finding you can offer this community like launching something that allows  this event to happen for you.

Just know though a job will never make you rich, which what you want "millions".
728  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: April 19, 2016, 03:00:18 PM
For now Bitcoin can't replace fiat i agree with this idea, but in the future everything is possible, if bitcoin conquer the world as expected, may be in 20 or even 50 years, it could be used worldwide and replacing fiat

Without fiat, there is no real form of metric for bitcoin.

Its just that simple, unless you can actually get the physical gold value to be traded back instead which I think most people would probably find more of a hassle.
729  Economy / Speculation / Re: +$20 in the last 24hrs... on: April 19, 2016, 02:58:10 PM
20 dollars up and 20 dollars down is absolutely nothing for anyone that has been around in the Bitcoin game for long enough. Once you experience what it means to grow at 100+ dollars per day, then you will understand the real power of Bitcoin to trigger people's FOMO (fear of missing out). This summer points like it will be a new demonstration of this.

the whole 20 dollars does make some impression, but this could be just triggering based on people now reacting on the halving more seriously now.

Since its 2 months away and no longer like 4 months away when everyones was talking about.
730  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: April 19, 2016, 02:51:58 PM
I'm not judging anyone's opinion here I'm simply impressed by the fact so many of you would buy a house with BTC. I would prefer to rent it if that makes sense. I would buy some land for sure not a house.

Well, buying a land also good. So you don't need to worry about a house like earthquake or something. And land is no need to worry about land.

It kind of depends of where you buy it because, for instance, if you buy it where there are floods or other things like that then you need to worry a bit about it. Don't you think?
It is nice to buy a house with some Bitcoins, a house is the best investment that you can ever make because the value will not reduce later in the future and that is nice for you.
So you can sell it with some nice profit also and that is the advantage if you are buy a house.

Go tell your friends in Michigan that a house is always the best investment!!! When the financial crisis hit the Michigan district most of the houses values went to zero.
Do some research

It goes both ways, depending on the price you get it for.

But intially its a overall decent investment, since you can use the house itself to avoid rent and becomes more of a sweat equity situation, if youre done paying for the house. Most people arent aware they can pull money from the house - to buy bitcoins to hedge too lol.
731  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Socialism is the key on: April 19, 2016, 02:49:23 PM
There is a lot of good in socialism, it brings people equal opportunities in the future, and provides them with safety and security. Those opposed to the idea highlight the higher taxation often associated with socialism, but it really just depends how you view it.

If anything it burdens the state with that load of taxation..

Something which I dont think most people are willing to see a increase over.. vs capitalism you pay based on the bracket earned based on certain category youre suited.
732  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: April 19, 2016, 02:46:46 PM
Online lending is more risky than real life lending services where all required documents are on-hand with the lender.

Also in real life lending, collateral really a must. But other institutions offers a lightweight loans like the one I used here in our country.

well if you apply to real collateral then its the same I feel.

Its just most people arent willing to fork over the same type or go about collecting this thats why. Also there is no back fire like a collection agency to get your money back or some type of services on the back end since the loan shop is really more like a personal loan shark type.

if you setup similar to like lendingclub or any other services similar it would be different.
733  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: April 19, 2016, 02:41:12 PM
To grow the adoption of bitcoin we need people spending it as a daily currency.
In my country there is not much I cant buy with bitcoins.
Granted not a lot of retailers accept BTC yet but with all the services available now they dont need to.
A bitcoin debit card can be very handy.

Nowadays if I need to pay a bill then I can pay any bill via a site called livingroomofsatoshi

Please list any reasons why you could not use bitcoin for day to day expenses and maybe we can find a way.

Guess we got a very different country. Spending it here through bitcoin in a retail shop in a mall or some stores is really hard. But I got the same story regarding paying bills online and it is really handy you wont need to fall in line paying it.

Its different only if your country isnt provided but most of these exchanges do provide to ship almost everywhere besides the US.

So I`m assuming youre from the states. The only few options for people in united states is going with coinbases swift card which their debit card.
734  Economy / Goods / Re: Question: Selling cars on: April 18, 2016, 07:01:43 PM
Whatever you choose op, since the tranaction of the value of the car assuming its over several grand.

You should go with meeting at a bank and confirm the paper and everything after you confirm your coins.

You have other options as well, there is a start up out there offer selling process easier for you?

https://shift.com/cars/los-angeles

And then you just go buy bitcoin instead after they take out of your cut.
735  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: April 18, 2016, 06:55:53 PM
I do not think so. because I do not believe bitcoin prices in 2030 will be very high. although the price touched $1000 least. Yeah 10BTC remain eligible said millionaires in 2030.

A millionaire with only 10 btc by 2030 is also a dream for me as well, It doesn't seem likely right now, but one never knows with bitcoin. I would say maybe more likely somewhere on the other side of 2030 with just 10 btc with mass adoption and if Bitcoin becomes bigger than what the internet became in that time...

Pretty much at whatever price, anything is a dream lol.

The only way people actually understand is to actually acquire in how many coins to make up for the lack of price it holds then the value alone.
736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving and its effects on: April 18, 2016, 06:53:25 PM
Compared to the time 2 years ago, the price is less then 1/2 and it hasn't risen over 500$ in a long time. So I m not convinced in anything anymore.

2 years ago was right after the gox price manipulation. You can not see this artificial created run as real growth.
It was obvious that after that a very long correction would happen. And it took us around 22 months to rehabilitate.
During that time the fundamentals have become better and better.
And this year we will see even more growth and improvements regarding the network and value.

He is right. That manipulation hurt bitcoin a lot. Without the trust of this community, bitcoin could have died that day. But this halving can bring some good effects to bitcoin hopefully. We might not reach a new ATH right away but the price will definitely go up. And hopefully steady increase in few years to come.

Well manipulation is always occuring everyday like it or not or planned out.

Whales or other people with large holdings.. but in general as long bitcoin has a price people will be here regardless of trust or not since there profit to be made.
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to sell? on: April 18, 2016, 06:46:38 PM
No! this is not the RIGHT time to sell... obviously if some one want a 5 10% ROI in a quick term this is one of the perfect time to get it...

Yes this is really not the right time to sell if you are only selling a small amount of coins but if you sell in bulks then you will gain more profit.

Can anyone tell what is the right time to sell ?

There is no right time to sell lol.

The charts are just a guide of what people might be or you can just wait for the actual halving that everyones talking about and be safe.
738  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: April 18, 2016, 06:40:15 PM
Well, boring is not the same as quiet. You can have "fun" trading it for other altcoins, in which there is always some movement, or use the bitcoin to buy games and fight boredom too.

It will be boring for those who sold their bitcoin and got left behind as they watch the price go higher and higher in 2016.

They wont be exactly left behind lol.

But they will be left out on certain price points that could of been a bigger margin of sale. And used to be bought back in as some form of leverage as well.
739  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: April 18, 2016, 06:29:24 PM
I would go for the bitcoin because I think the gold is not as good as people say, the gold also has been go down in its worth.
Plus the bitcoin has a very good future so you could or do both or only pick the bitcoin in my opinion.

Bitcoin is better than gold. Gold is already scam-medium. The daily traded-gold volume is  not available for trade. Its all fraud. They sell and buy more gold than available on world-markets... Same like the fiat...

Isnt that all the more reason to buy some of the physical metal.

When the paper games collapse, which they will in time the actual value of the metal will go parabolic.

Dont forget the China starts their own gold fix tomorrow on the 19th April which will favor physical metals over paper prices.

https://www.superstation95.com/index.php/world/1152

I actually considered this, only cause the stupid deficit is only growing..

So even if I dont see the paper pop out my life time, I`m sure I`ll see another financial crisis at least so I can hedge some way to profit.
740  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm All In - Sold My House! on: April 18, 2016, 06:24:56 PM
Is this true? When did you sell your house/bought btc? in april 2014? than you didnt win anything..... Yet..... But you will...... Soon.

If he's still holding he could make a shitload in the coming months...then again the bitcoin price could go back to double digits USD. I wouldn't have the balls to go all in, even if I could afford to lose it.

And if he"s not holding that he made a terrible mistake because price in those two years was never higher than when he bought in

Doesnt mean he made a mistake.

In your eyes yes, cause you know more then he probably does. The only reason why anyone would leave is the lack of uncertainty of something which is only a natural move.
