781  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: April 05, 2016, 04:17:04 PM
If ever I have lots of earnings for bitcoin I would definitely spend my bitcoins but this is for basic needs that I am actually looking forward to it. I am having some difficulties at home for food supply so I would definitely use them for basic needs..

That would be the best to use it for basic needs, but looking at present scenario I think it will take a very long time that we can use it for buying day to day stuffs.
Yes that's why most of the time nag iipon lang ako and keep posting para naman mas malaki ang maipon ako. Kasi this is the only that I can help more para sa parents ko. As usual this is only for the basic needs of the family..

Please stick to your native language elsewhere like in the subsections of this forum please. Unless they wrote it in your language I understand, but this is english prefer.

Or edit your thread in all english so it doesnt confuses future readers.
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: April 05, 2016, 04:09:02 PM
Yes.. I agree with you...
#Bitcoin is the future of currency...

use bitcoin as found for retirement is good idea, but we can predict in future bitcoin can survive, i think at this time the perfect invest fo retirement is buying vacant land near from city so in future the price can rise 1000%

Or just buy a stock that supports gold..

So that way its hedge already with the dollar and you also have another double form that acts like it which would be bitcoin too.

it would suck if you need to sell the land quick if the plan didnt fall through or waiting around for some buyer to show up.
783  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: April 05, 2016, 04:03:30 PM
If you are living in a third world country and there you want to buy a house in the village then definitely you can buy a house with only one bitcoin but if you want to buy in city or in a first world country then you will need some high amount of bitcoin to buy that house.

Countries like india, or someplace similar I see this possible.

But anywhere in america you need a ton, and convert that to cash consider doing a cash offer.

And haggle at the difference in the midwest or somewhere cheaper if you really want to do it.

I know it wouldnt be california or newyork though.
784  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: April 05, 2016, 03:58:38 PM
I'm new about mining coins, but i just start mining alt coins. And i think better you save it and wait, because it's have a change that coin's price can increase.

Its good to get your feet wet.

Know the "estimated" coin able to mine and the actual #`s, since usually the miners "promote" how much "hashes".

But usually underperform but a certain # so take the real #`s or ask this before you purchase. So you actually get the exact #`s.

Just know those alt coins you mine, is a either a hit or miss that it will go up or not.
785  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: April 05, 2016, 03:53:52 PM
Several reasons that I need to buy bitcoin.

The obvious signs for a need for it, so its also a investment alone. And also when im in needed to buy cheap giftcards to feel like I get more of my moneys worth if its a store I purchase regularly.

Other then that, I dont buy much of it.
786  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: April 05, 2016, 03:48:29 PM
I do not sell bitcoin. I just use the bitcoin to buy things online. But the retailers might sell it immediately.

The retailers are always in the position to hold then sell then you mention.

Also, if they do sell, it would be most likely with a bigger entity that would do behind doors like coinbase directly that no normal person would have or something similar.
787  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we break the 400$ ? on: April 05, 2016, 03:44:06 PM
Anyone whos still questioning this, its been over 1 week or close to two weeks now.

And the prices been solid for close mid range for $420, so seeing that alone should be enough that it`ll easily got to $480.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold my alts, all in BTC on: April 05, 2016, 03:40:58 PM
Keeping track of all different alt coin wallets was annoying Angry And I don't trust exchanges.

I'm ready for liftoff.

Are you?

(of course I had never more than ~5% in alts)
good decisions because using exchange aren't secure any longer because most of them are very vulnerable to be hacked and possibility for lose your altcoins is very big

Its a huge lesson one to take, esp even if it doesnt effect you am I right.

Esp when a major alt exchange goes down, everything is questionable. This similar how when mt.gox just blew up everyones face with bitcoin being the only solid exchange.
789  Economy / Speculation / Re: To those saying Ethereum will soon pass BTC in terms of market cap on: April 05, 2016, 01:31:20 AM
Eth is deflating

Yep! It slowly going down and I'm expecting some correction after such a big rise in price.
ETH price is slowly going down, Big investor slowly exiting ETH and the pitty is all that ride the hype.

Signs of people getting out.

If you hold any, you should get out before it tanks harder then it is now.

Always be in the position of having others to take the fall, which is the only way with these pump and dump alt coins.
790  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: April 05, 2016, 01:28:57 AM
The halving hype alone will push it pretty far 500 should be no problem.

I was thinking of the same.

And by the time it comes around it should be almost middle of the year or a lil before it.

I`m more looking towards the possible high 700 zone if we can get that far this year.
791  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Openbazaar question on: April 05, 2016, 01:26:31 AM
So how are they moderating the payments?
Are they using some form of escrow? Otherwise it would be a scamming fest?
But in a decentralized market escrow is pretty inpossibru?

its still possible in some sense for escrow to be involved.

As long as the source of the third party holder stays legit.. thats why we have a reputation on this forum. So as long it has something similar with a feedback system it should be the same?

But trusting 100% is a foolish dream, since we do see rare horror stories.
792  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [FS] - Hyatt E-Gift cards for sale at 40% on: April 05, 2016, 01:23:38 AM

793  Economy / Economics / Re: People not buying 3XX like crazy will hate themselves in 6 months on: April 05, 2016, 01:14:22 AM
I missed my chances back in 2012 at $180 per coin.

So most definetely learn a hard lesson there, I been pretty much buying in small increments at a time though, incase of a premium comes quick.

Anyone whos still waiting, theres no more waiting its only going to go up.
794  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: April 05, 2016, 12:21:49 AM
By investing, make money and make mobey then invest on some legit site ,like trading that can make your money grow or join on a mlm companies.

Trading is risky though as it requires good knowledge and skills to make money from it but I think you need to take those risks if you want to get rich.

Of course you have to take risk. No guts, no glory. But you can minimize the risk by having enough knowledge and experience. It is not easy to master trading but if you do, you have a very powerf tool in your hands that can make you rich.

Well said, high risk is to be taken when it comes to high earning which is required to be a rich. My opinion is to have a day job. Do trading as a additional task to earn more, only then you'll be rich in a short term.

You cannot afford to depend only on single earning, if you want to get rich then you should work on multiple thing to multiply your monthly income.

Its way harder then anyone thinks lol.

If you think just starting a business will multiply your income then youre about get hurt really hard. The best advice is still earning the sing earning, while learning that off-sets the profit monthly wage or pay add up.

Which can be like daytrading - obviously risky, but youll have a different mental approach since you dont plan to soley live off the trades.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market rigged on: April 05, 2016, 12:17:09 AM
If you havent done the homework, its rigged based on certain factors how they play it by.

Since most of the stuff is based on their own terms, like insider info, or something else thats off the books.

A normal trader going into the market using a thinkorswim account will get killed, not having a edge.
796  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the number of available bitcoins decreasing? on: April 05, 2016, 12:15:44 AM
The lost coin will reduce the current supply. The idle coin will be counted towards to the total available coins.

Thats pretty given.

But what will be intresting is despite the lost coins with the 21 mill hard code, will the remaining coins available give off a higher value regardless.
797  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: April 04, 2016, 11:48:12 PM
Maybe they have a low price on electricity and it's a good for mining also they trying to find a money for living cause a lot unempoyment people there.

Its only logical if the costs are cheap.

And it just means they just need the hardware to do it pretty much, which they can do collectively if they all invested together.

And have a similar setup like in china.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: Huge Financial Scandal: Secret Offshore Money, Tax Evasion: The Panama Papers on: April 04, 2016, 11:27:53 PM
Knowing the lawfirms that sell these shell type business for shady business to continue.

Do you think they will shift towards value for bitcoin will increase due more money laundering alone?

Not that they need bitcoin apparently.. but it probably be more less paper work on a lawfirms side.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: April 04, 2016, 11:25:22 PM
Its difficult to digest the reality, and reality is fiat will always exist, looking at the poor countries and illiterate people who don't have any idea that what the hell bitcoin is.

Its not just poor countries lol.

Most people arent aware bitcoin is available to them because I feel like how its been marketed so far in the media.

When I mentioned bitcoin to my friend, he just thought of the "scam" reference with mt.gox.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: April 04, 2016, 11:22:25 PM
How to earn money with bitcoin ?
You can invest your real money into Bitcoin. You can buy Bitcoins, I suggest you buy them at a low price. When the price goes up you can sell them for a profit.
I saw in this thread a lot of suggested to doing trading I also agree with it. if you buy at a low price then bitcoin bitcoin rose. then you will get more money when selling
but the problem is Sometimes we can not wait when prices experienced a lower side that happened a long time. so we sell it. so the key is to be patient

Yes, you need patient on trading. If you easily panic, you should don't do trading. Because trading also need mentality and experienced. And i think patient is the key for trading.

You can only be patient for so long though.

If you dont see any movement most trades just see other ways to make up for that day. This is similar how my day trader friend does, when he doesnt see any movement he wants to see.
