1022  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: February 03, 2016, 11:41:48 PM
http://www.foreclosurelistings.com/foreclosures-under-10000/

i have no idea if the above things are real, but i tihnk it is possible to buy a real house in a crappy location under 15k for sure

Usually any home that has a lien with the creditor aka bank, there is more under the cover.

Just because a listing price maybe at like $5,000. The bank would want the difference before they submit the new ownership over. And that can be past unpaid balance that needs to be paid eg: $90k before the new ownership begin, which most will discover or do their homework on.

If the home is free in and clear- and you have done your homework then more power to you.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: February 03, 2016, 10:44:37 PM
I think 1000 BTC will be enough for someone to retire after 20 years particularly if btc price moves up significantly.

Its no problem to guess a significant #.

But its a matter of obtaining those 1,000 btc in the 1st place to even consider retirement. lol. The way I see it, the person needs a on-going rate or producing a siginicant of amount if the value drops not in their favor or the other way around.
1024  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: February 03, 2016, 06:30:43 PM
To be wise you must be rich. You need a clear work very hard and are lucky that you have won a lottery.
But often it is very hard working and saving good.
Not too much to spend.

That makes no sense. There are a lot of billionaires that have started from nothing. Hard work, smart work is what makes money. Not luck or anything else like that. It's proves by history.

I think what doesnt make sense is what he wrote "Not too much to spend".

Like if your cash flow is breaking the millions, I think its okay to splurge to treat yourself. Other then the obvious would be managing their own finance which I`m sure someone else does by then when they built an empire.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: February 03, 2016, 05:21:12 AM
The way I buy into bitcoin is several different ways, to hedge my outcome.

But my go-to way since I cant predict the future of price, is breaking down my risk in increments that I can manage.

So if the price drops or up, and usually sell it back when I can. I do in .1 btc amounts.
1026  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice's Scammers on: February 03, 2016, 05:18:19 AM
I REPAID DRFAMOUS ALMOST INSTANTLY AND YET STUNNA HASN'T UNMUTED ME. HE IS A RACIST DICTATOR WHOM NO TRUST SHALL BE GIVEN TO.
I never got my 0.4 BTC back!
Proof:

I sent Spongeboob 0.036BTC and EarthBound 0.1BTC :

LOOK AT YOUR OWN PROOF

I SENT YOU DOUBLE BACK

LMAOOO
Okay, what about my 0.1 BTC?

Op, it sucks but just make it back another way. Youre not going to get any btc back from those guys.

Its a tough pill to swallow, but dont trust anyone let alone when a friend is asking money at a casino live or online. Youre at a website that has a bunch of addictive personalities in a global screw over fest to get more btc.

My advice at this point is just flip something for profit on this forum to regain whats lost.
1027  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: February 03, 2016, 05:01:53 AM
Yes.
I spending them because of my needs.

Even I was spending bitcoins lot before in buying gadgets through online, and make ticket in cheapair by using bitcoins.
But nowadays I am not using bitcoin at all in any purchase. Because I know after halving bitcoin to reach a big value. But fiat will not reach like that better we use fiat itself according to my knowledge.

I`d still consider using those bitcoins for daily use.

We all have different views on if it`ll hit a major big value of the halving, but the debate of on-going struggle. I cant read the future nor the other person, so just see the data as its presented. Big values need from bunch of buy orders, which is what youre expecting to see. Which I do too, but I dont think it`ll be anytime soon if youre expecting huge jumps.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: February 03, 2016, 04:51:34 AM
Not yet I guess, maybe when it reached $350 I'll start my buying spree then sell after 2 weeks, I have a strong feeling rate will bounce back to $400 after a week or two.

In my eyes hope is not a strategy.

If the data shows within $30-35 price drops withing 2-3 days or within 1 week. It just is what it is, and says the buyers arent ready bounce back to buy to raise to those ideal rates.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: February 03, 2016, 04:44:18 AM
Maybe we can trade bitcoin - gold , Bitcoin -silver?
If we just leve dollar behind.

I prefer cash. Because Bitcoin can get lost as fact. There are chances of Bitcoin that I can be hacked and I do not want.
Cash can I keep myself and I'm sure it is safe.

Indeed cash is real and you can do everything with it.
With bitcoins you can not buy anything.
And its true it can be hacked that should be very bad.

Even though you cant buy everything with bitcoin there are services that do.

So as for the hack comment, the odds of that are very low. Unless you got some serious malware problems.

Services like snapcard, gyft - allow for everyday use.
1030  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: February 03, 2016, 04:23:43 AM
Just like investing in a hyip I will tell you to only invest what you can afford to loose. Who knows what will happen with the btc price. Maybe everything will be good and earn you tons of profit but on the other hand, there is also the risk of the btc price to crash so yea. Be prepared if ever.

Not entirely a hyip.

But I get your point, theres a bunch of risk buying into bitcoin being unaware where it`ll stand. But theres proven ground already that its price being stable for awhile now.

Which is why there is a discussion about holding it in the 1st place lol. I always treat the present situations as the future being a now thing, so it depends on how you look at it.
1031  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I looking for buy $20 Starbucks Gift Card! on: February 03, 2016, 04:20:45 AM
Op, if you are looking to buy giftcards using paypal.

Why dont you just go through gyft, which offers paypal options when purchasing the gift card. It may not be a discounted rate.. but it avoids the hassle waiting around.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: What moves bitcoin price? on: February 03, 2016, 03:54:45 AM
Unlike any other commodity, bitcoin has most influential factor for deciding it's price levels, it is network's difficulty levels. When more bitcoin miners enters into mining bitcoin then we can expect the price raise of bitcoins. The vice versa also true.

It also has something to do with demand and supply
Less supply and more demand means that bitcoin will rise in value.

Some of what moves the bitcoin price also has to do with stock markets.

Its a marketplace just like stocks, like how people buy and sell stuff on ebay.

But the difference between stock market it has multiple products, and bitcoin exchange only has one which is the coin itself. You can say if it were on the stock market it would be under the category of commodities.
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoinocracy: If non-Core hard fork wins, major holders will sell BTC on: February 03, 2016, 03:46:22 AM
The only time I`d sell is if its rising.

If its going down, if anything because people are reacting to the forks will lead to a huge sell off - I`ll take the chance of buying a bunch while its going down.

Its very simple to understand for seeing it in my own eyes for the last 5years.

Youre also stating the VC`s who funding a bunch to support a community is asking to just bail out on their own millions of funding..
1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: February 03, 2016, 03:07:09 AM
Nope, didn't happen, I don't think this will happen until we're closer to halving. All bitcoin has done has gone down.
It's nice to stay positive but I don't think bitcoin will even reach 1k this month.

It might happen in June or July. We should have 2MB block size by then and the halving soon at that time.

I think after solving the block size issue, we could see a little movement  in price, but not that big, and a little more boost after the halving..  Smiley but $2k is still far, very far..

I still dont think that would resolve to the price to go up.

I mainly can see it in a obvious point of you. Which is what most people dont see is the more buy orders coming from somewhere else, which can be more people being involved with buying and selling bitcoin.
1035  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: February 03, 2016, 03:03:46 AM
Hell no. I don't want bitcoin to replace money.

You are just amazed on how bitcoin works today. If it will replaced our current money system expect those benefits you are getting in bitcoin transactions will be loss too.

Central banks won't allow anonymous transactions as it will just make more money fraud activities. And welcome bitcoin tax if it will replaced our current money system.

Its a hard reality to swallow for most, since we want it to esp for bitcoin. Youre probably right on all levels.

The truth like you say is the real power behind banks be able to do what they do for years. So seeing that power go away with the current monetary system is just a bitcoin dream.
1036  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Whole Foods Egift Cards %50 For BTC Only! - $100 on: February 03, 2016, 02:59:59 AM

1037  Economy / Digital goods / Re: suspension PayPal account, 300$ on: February 01, 2016, 11:15:19 PM
How is $300 worth anything if he/she the account holder cant get it out.

Yes, lets off load the risk to someone else to be the sucker here.  Roll Eyes And then once the btc has been sent, even using escrow in this case if it were ever to be released after several days. The odds of "my account" got hacked tell to paypal just double dips in the op`s favor.
1038  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $10,000 GAP GIFT CARD and more - Instant Email Delivery - ESCROW on: February 01, 2016, 12:59:34 AM
Please, be realistic here.

No one in the right mind on this forum will purchase $10,000 worth on someone whos a unknown supplier.

Get real, do some homework, build a reputation at least if you are going to sell something like this..  Cheesy
1039  Economy / Goods / Re: Sell Gift Cards & Coupons on: January 29, 2016, 11:22:34 PM
Yeah, not accepting escrow is a huge no-go. If you want to accept escrow I will buy some Amazon gift cards from ya.

There is no such thing regardless, if they used a escrow.

Think about it, if they sell at dirt cheap prices - youre ignoring the obvious on how it was obtained and knowing the card will go bad within 24hrs.
1040  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Panera Bread Gift Cards $100.00 for $15.00 - Instant Delivery - 90 Day Warranty! on: January 29, 2016, 11:02:33 PM
Bought a card a few days ago worth $100. Today it shows it was used by somebody thousands of miles away. Sent message to seller. awaiting reply.

That is exactly what happens due to the way to are obtained.  If you can buy them cheap enough you should do alright (some guy in here already selling for $11 for $200).  My last $100 card was down to $87 yesterday used in Syracuse NY and today down to $49 used in Charlotte NC.   Now that the "secret" (Google Panera+) is out it's going to happen a lot more and a lot faster.  Most of the responses will be in foreign language). Just use 'em up as fast as you can. You can "race" the other people sharing your number.  Buy lots of bagels & soup and freeze it!

LOL, everyone selling them is just regenerating the same card numbers. Duhhhh!

It should be obvious by now, most of the cards sold on this forum is shared by more then 1 buyer.

You`ll be lucky if the seller even bothers to do a warranty, but even then it`ll still be shared by someone else. Using it up like you mentioned is the only way to use it. I`m not a huge panera fan lol.
