Perfect, thanks for the clarity. I think it could benefit new staker's to have a FAQ on the first page or website filled with the beneficial questions and answers from this thread. But then again I'm sure you all have plenty on your plate at the moment!
One final question, if time held in wallet equates to hashing power, where does quantity held fit into the equation? I'm curious to know how the two relate
it's combined age and size that equate to hashing power. size x age the older and/or larger they are, the greater their probability to successfully stake. . when the wallet stakes, there are coded settings to split or combine inputs depending on time and size. if an input is less than 10 days old it will split in half - this will make it take longer to stake next time. if an input is older than 10 days old it will combine with other inputs to a maximum of 250 coins - if there are available inputs in the same address. this means that staking by the official code will even out input sizes across wallets.

i'm having trouble with building a coin using secp256k1 libsecp256k1_la-secp256k1.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
generally it seems like i have success with secp256k1 but it is not recognized on qt build. i've tried a variety of things including ./autogen.sh ./configure --host=i686-w64-mingw32.static make fails on qt build and ./configure --host=i686-w64-mingw32.static --prefix=/home/mxe/mxe/usr/i686-w64-mingw32.static --enable-static --disable-shared gives error during configure ./configure: line 12234: SECP_64BIT_ASM_CHECK: command not found ./configure: line 12263: SECP_INT128_CHECK: command not found ./configure: line 12291: SECP_INT128_CHECK: command not found ./configure: line 12316: SECP_GMP_CHECK: command not found ./configure: line 12422: SECP_OPENSSL_CHECK: command not found also fails on qt build any assistance would be welcomed i'm trying a different source, and using latest version of secp256k1 but still getting libsecp256k1_la-secp256k1.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
could it be to do with version of ubuntu or mxe i'm using ? not sure about mxe (will need to check later) but am on ubuntu 14. or is there something else i could try ?

I have the ExclusiveCoin wallet for PC, 32 bit and 64 bit ,and they load and show the coins I sent to the wallet address.
I cannot find how to send coins...I enter the destination, the label and the amount and click send, but the wallet gets frozen for a second or two and then does nothing.
It has been 3 days but the wallet still says the coins are immature. Status is disabled, completion is 19% (same for the last 48 hours), darksend balance is 0.00 EXCL and amount and rounds shows the coins I have.
Any ideas how to send coins or get ExclusiveWallet to respond and send coins?
Qt is 5.3.2 Wallet is v1.2.0.0-61404
sounds like you might be accidentally using Darksend, you can cancel it by pressing the appropriate button on the dashboard, underneath where it says 19% completion then make sure, in the Send tab/window, the darksend and instantx boxes are unticked. and try again. if you have no success, please feel free to send me a screen shot of your dashboard so i can understand better whats happening.

It is very important that the Value Out limit be corrected. If a simple withdrawal surpasses the 1999.999.999 the trasanccion will be invalid and it breaks ...
you'll see the version forked by me does make it impossible to break it. Someone has completed POS mining? After 30 days they credit 100% of the coins on the wallet?
there are two things to consider, minimum stake age is 30 days, so the first 30 days of your stake will be 0% then the return will be 100% per year, so if your stake is 60 days old, 30 days at 0%, then 30days / 365days * 100% = 8.21%

Advertiser77, Bumba, and the rest of you should join us on he telegram page. Also, I suggest Bumbag creates a new ANN thread for SHND
i'm sorry i'm not interested in creating a thread or even joining telegram :p i have mentioned in the slack that i am willing to help a little, but not to get very involved. i have enough going on at the moment that even using Telegram is an unwelcome addition to my life i dont know if these slack invites are still useful, but anyone interested in making a new ANN and would like to talk to me please join

I've been trying to sync the wallet on my macbook, but it's at a standstill the entire time, only about 5% in.. I read about adding peers through the configuration, but my macbook seems to be unable to find ~/library/Application Support/ExclusiveCoin , so I'm not able to add other nodes for faster syncing.. Somebody who can help me out?
sorted in slack ?

I am running Masternode at Windows 8 on my own PC. It has full internet access also disabled energy saving on machine and network card. Still having internet disconnect after 1 hour running. If anyone faced similar problem please answer here . Thanks pls join the slack for assistance https://excl-invite.herokuapp.com/What is the total amount of the coins?? on website 4 mil. and explorer 417731. ? at the present time. Thanks which explorer ? this one shows 4.17 million, which is current supply https://cryptobe.com/chain/ExclusiveCoin

at this point it seems more useful to stop mining and let it cruise on PoS until we sort the mining/code out.

a lot of forks going on, to sync, try deleteing your blockchain and start again, i used these addnodes in my KangaBits.conf delete all other addnodes addnode=192.169.7.11 addnode=82.223.11.131 addnode=83.43.173.214 addnode=220.244.244.164 i cant see 115.70.250.114 so cant tell what height it's on explorer is down atm, currently at height 22296 -- edit there is some terrible annoyance going on with miners reward still. i've messaged the dev so stay tuned for further updates

From what I understand in your commentary, does this project seem to be kind of obscure or suspicious? Well the staking has been active from launch with 0 - 0.00010001 coins per PoS block so far & Block 200,000 is when the conventional 10% yearly rewards of staked balances will kick in. This is just one big mess with superblocks that don't work properly either there's something weird with the source indeed, it'll generally reject stake blocks (becuase zero reward) unless there's a fee involved, but some are coming out with the extra 0.00000001 amount when you sync from zero those teeny .00000001 will be rejected. i've suggested a few changes which may help, if they don't help then worst case might be a hard fork to totally disable future staking or a new reward setup.

I compiled your source from github on a fresh Linux Mint install and the compiler complains that splash3.png is missing from /src/qt/res/images. For the time being, I just made a file called splash3.png to get the source to compile. Also the current source doesn't look the same (as good ) as the downloaded binary. Could you give your source on github some love? Thanks. rename src/qt/res/images/splash2.png to splash3.png

I'm using the qt windows 64 wallet. It's taking a while to sync. How long does it normally take to sync?
there's a bootstrap available from http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881One Question.... Has the excl wallet to be running all the time? so do i need a vps server for it?
to run a masternode yes, to stake no, although optimally you'd run it whenever you have coins that are ready to stake, you can run it occasionally if you want to set up vps there's plenty of expertise available in the slack channel to help out https://excl-invite.herokuapp.com/

OSX Wallet appears to be getting no connections to the cream network.
Are Windows and Linux ones working, I was just about to start mining, but reluctant without a wallet!
Cheers.
if you're still having problems then you want to add more nodes to your cream.conf for OSX there is a copy of the cream.conf packaged with the qt available in the OP download link open a finder window, select the Go menu > Go to folder ... paste ~/Library/Application Support/ find your cream coin folder, this is where the cream.conf file should live you'll need to open it with text edit and add all the nodes in prior posts.

Thank you for the answer. What is staking reward? I can see "from block 1 to 32000 = 20" Is this per day, month, annually ?
when you staking coins, once they are mature they have a probability based on age and size as to when they will stake, the bigger and older they are the greater the probability
this means that they might stake in a day or in a week depending mainly on the size and network difficulty
when they do stake the reward will be a fixed 20 coins for this period.edit modified in response to some good points below masternodes will take 4 of the 20 coin PoS reward, so staking will net you 16 coins until block 32000 also cream uses later version of PoS which does not utilise coin weight (blackcoin first modified this as it is a possible attack vector for double spends). you still have a set probability of staking which is based on your input in relation to all other staking inputs.
