Are you on Lithium?

My current best-effort mix:  Curcumin, allicin, MCTs, cocoa flavinoids, ECGC, lithium orotate, D-3, C, B-complex, omega-3 complex, phosphatidyl-choline, bacopa, ashwaghanda, piracetam, calcium, magnesium, amphetamine, soluble and insoluble fiber.

Quality of life is enhanced by a stable regime of supplementation - stability and adequate coverage being essentially impossible by means of mere dietary selection.  Anyone who does not work outdoors with exposed skin surface on a daily basis is well advised to supplement D-3, and the value of trace lithium in the diet is much neglected.

Filtering the bad information is a painful task.  Food & nutrition is comparable to crypto in its scaminess, and the area is ridden with ideologically/commercially driven "science".

How much lithium orotate do you take per day? I take 5mg once per week but I'd rather get 1mg once per day. Piracetam, D3, and amphetamine doses? I titrate D3 based on 25(OH)D test results to account for climate changes... just back from 6 months in Asia and it has snowed in NJ today. Sad Amphetamine could be replaced with amineptine but it is less readily available. Wink

Just so everyone knows, lithium is neuroprotective in small doses. It has a bad rap for kidney toxicity and a number of other things but doses in the 500-1000 microgram range are likely beneficial in a number of ways.

What is the best market to sell anoncoin? CEX.IO seems has no demand. I am selling 400.
223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something big for Bitcoin coming April 15th on: April 15, 2015, 07:30:26 AM
The sun has risen over Belgium... by this afternoon I will be back in the US and I expect some good news from our old friend Elwar! Wink
224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something big for Bitcoin coming April 15th on: April 12, 2015, 04:59:18 PM
Elwar has been silent since this post. Only 3 days away... It will be my first day back to the US since August so hopefully the event is not too big as I will be severely jet lagged. Wink
225  Economy / Speculation / Re: They say it can't be the miners on: April 11, 2015, 08:00:42 PM
I think miners selling might have something to do with it. I don't know for sure though. I guess we will have to see what happens after the block halving.
This will tell us everything...
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 06, 2015, 01:49:18 PM
if downtrend is still in force, we are going sub-90

90 isn't even possible for more than a few hours, unless btc goes up a lot.  I simply have too much fiat exposure for that to happen.

The aminorex put.

- Secret warrants where individuals/corporations are not even allowed to say they've received a warrant or what actions were taken. It's gotten so bad we now have warrant canary sites. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2014/04/warrant-canary-faq
- Government restrictions on information the defense can bring (i.e. in the above). In a truly free republic an individual can decide for themselves what information to present and let a jury decide what is valid/relevant. In today's trials people are restricted.
- etc. etc. etc.
And Australia has just made warrant canaries illegal : https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2015/03/australia_outla.html

228  Economy / Speculation / Block 350,000 due in the next few hours on: March 30, 2015, 06:55:35 PM
14 million coins here we come. Nobody notices in the media because people don't really know about the block reward schedule. It's too technical for most people, despite the fact that the having is such a major economic event. Their loss. Wild parties are brewing on the streets... the countdown has begun... 17 blocks remaining.

Remember the bitcoin reaches $1000 party in Germany? Maybe we should have a halving party instead. It can be more or less extravagant depending on the price of the coin at the time. Wink
229  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Block halving on: March 28, 2015, 03:16:21 PM
Just pulled up a day to the 28th of July with the recent difficulty increase. If we do get more efficient ASICs on the net it could even move to early July by then.
230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current market conditions are scary on: March 26, 2015, 10:12:15 AM
Patience my fellow bitcoiners. Even I don't like this but we still have a yearly inflation rate of 9.4% once we hit 14m coins next week. Only the mid-2016 halving will bring this downward pressure to an end. The inflation schedule is under appreciated by the public but the distribution mechanism is in full effect as volatility disperses coins. Even the protocol is in a fight at the moment as we have yet to remove the 1MB cap. The fight continues in bitcoin land.
231  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 22, 2015, 09:56:46 AM
I remember a time when people were afraid of ASICMINER possibly 51% attacking the network. How times change!
232  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 21, 2015, 07:47:41 PM
jimmothy will never admit he was wrong about HashFast being a scam and also wrong about AM not being a scam.  His ego and pride won't allow it.  The shame would destroy his fragile self-image.

He's rather keep moving the goalposts, second-guessing the 12+ bankruptcy lawyers and Court involved with HF's 'not-a-scam' judgment while demanding metaphysical certainty that AM is-a-scam.

Even if FC signed a confession and held it up with the requisite banana and shoe, jimmothy would claim it was shopped, or not the real FC, or that FC was being blackmailed by Mongolian pirates.

And if you pointed out Mongolia is landlocked and thus pirate-free, he'd sputter something about how HF was still a scam even though they were granted Chapter 11 (a status that is denied to scams and even mismanaged companies) *TWICE*.

Because failing due to unfavorable business conditions makes you a scam if you are HF, but taking the BTC and running doesn't make you a scam if you are AM.   Cheesy

This is the last time I'm wasting my time replying to you before putting you back on ignore because you've made it clear your not here for a discussion, but rather to spew the verbal diarrhea you are known for.

One last time, I AM NOT DENYING THE POSSIBILITY THAT FC TURNED INTO A SCAMMER.

I just find it unlikely given AM's solid track record/reputation of fighting to make things right. And I refuse to conclude it a scam based on the single fact that the CEO is missing (who conveniently is the only one with the private keys).

Here's my guesses as to what happen in order of plausibility:

1. Their story is legit and the hardware was stolen by some shady datacenter operator and FC was kidnapped or something.

2. FC was stealing electricity and he along with the hardware was taken by the police.

3. FC decided to pull an exit scam after Prisma 2.0's and BE300 turned out to be failures.

In no case do I think the scam was premeditated or that anyone other than FC was involved.

I agree with this. It is absurd to say AM was a scam to start with. It could be a scam now but there are other explanations which make sense. Everyone in bitcoin land wants to call everything a scam but unless we have proof one way or another then making an assumption could lead down the wrong path.
233  Other / Meta / Re: Spam/spearphishing message on: March 21, 2015, 04:13:00 PM
Just got a message from a new user (patrick2902) with the link : http://steamcommunity.com/          profiles/            76561198034912521
I inadvertently clicked it, not something I normally do.

Page seems clean to me but anyone want to check it? This probably went to other users as well - how to report this account to admins?

Thanks

Just general advice in terms of steam links. Take the long number at the end (steam id 64), use your favorite search engine to search for steam community and add the rest of the URL by hand. Alternativly search for steam rep and enter the ID directly. Steamrep will provide a correct link and plenty of information about the account.

You should not get bothered by random people sending you links, but its not a phishing site.

Thanks! I knew it was not a phishing site but I feared they could have put some malicious code on the page, e.g. JS which could then exploit my browser.

I'm currently in Cambodia but will be in Thailand on the first of April. Should I start a search and rescue operation? If anyone has any leads I am happy to follow up (seriously).
235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 20, 2015, 05:44:32 PM
Monkey thinks price will be downish until Monday-Wednesday turn starts a steady upward move, but 250 will hold the bottom.

I ask again, has your monkey got this bitcoin thing down yet?  I know he/she was a bit weak several months ago.

Definitely improving.  This year he wanted me to buy at 200 on 1/20, and at 215 on 2/10, then wanted me to sell at 292 on 3/11.
I wasn't paying attention at the time, though.  Right now, intraday, he thinks it goes up for an hour or two, then pulls back.  He
sees near-term resistance at 272 and support in the 242-253 range, pegs daily support at 236-245, and says it will turn up by
Tuesday.  (He's constantly adjusting, until he makes a buy or sell signal, then he stands pat and lets price decide if he was
right or wrong.)

On a weekly basis he says the buy point was 2/1, expects a few more weeks of up-trend, and again sees resistance at 378-380,
but allows that it may not turn, but only take a correction, to end the contiguous trend.

Long term projection?
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: If btc -> moon and you no longer need to work, what will you do with your time? on: March 17, 2015, 06:46:28 PM
Hello from Siem Reap in northwestern Cambodia. Wink
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: The "Vladimir Club" on: March 17, 2015, 08:40:31 AM
How many do you think are eligible for the club today? I would think it is far less than 5000 individuals, maybe closer to 500.. Undecided
Let's revisit this during times of despair in the markets. Smiley

So... more or less than 500 now? I would guess less. The distribution function continues as volatility rolls on.
238  Economy / Speculation / Two weeks until the 14 millionth coin is mined on: March 17, 2015, 08:32:39 AM
How will the price be affected?

On one hand the inflation rate will not substantially change until next July, 500 days from now. On the other hand it is a psychological reminder that this is coming, many people seem to be unaware of it.
239  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 15, 2015, 11:18:18 AM
At 0.013 its half tempting to pick up 5k chares through Havelock just to be able to demand direct info from the board and Dave.

It would still be fairly expensive even at 0.013 5000 shares is 65 BTC
@ 300 USD = $19,500

At 0.013 its half tempting to pick up 5k chares through Havelock just to be able to demand direct info from the board and Dave.

It was a nice dream while it lasted, with a honeymoon period and then a slow then steady decline

Obligatory depression post:

5000 shares at the peak of AM = 30,000 BTC+ @ that times BTC price = $150 BTC) = 4.5 million
Today: $18k and change.

Keep in mind the market would not have absorbed 5000 shares at the peak price. Anyone know the liquidity/slippage back when it was 5BTC or so a share?

5 BTC was not the peak, over 10k shares traded hands between 5-7 BTC (I believe right around 7 was the peak) and that was only on BTCT not including private deals.
Ok, thanks for the info!
240  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a world with BTC as reserve currency look like? on: March 14, 2015, 08:52:34 PM
Old money won't let this happen, since this will necessarily bring forth redistribution of real wealth, and the wealthy elites won't be happy up to the point of physically eradicating the new competition. So, for this to happen (that is for a world with BTC as a reserve currency to come about), you first need to strip the global elite of their power. In the past this happened through natural disasters (like epidemics, famine,  catastrophes, etc) or warfare...

No, why can't they just invest in bitcoin too? They are capitalists aren't they, they should adjust themselves to the market situations.

Sure now they have total control over the monetary system, but if they buy enough bitcoins they can control the bitcoin network too. They own the capital, they can control, simple as that.

They won't lose their power only if they are utterly stupid to wait until it completely takes over. If they are smart they invest in it now, which they probably do, hidden of course.

If they already have total control over the monetary system, why would they need anything else? Until they see a threat to their position, they won't do anything. The question is why you think bitcoin somehow threatens them. The bitcoin market is minuscule at best and it doesn't grow, so why should they care?

They don't need it, but we do. And eventually bitcoin will take over, so they will have no choice but to adapt or perish. So if they are smart, and they are, they will just probably invest in it, and then take over bitcoin by owning a big market share.

This is called wishful thinking. You say that eventually bitcoin will take over, but how come that it had fallen from over 1,100$ per coin to around $250 (and sits there for now)? This is surely not what you would expect from a deflationary coin that is going to take over the world... Was it a false start?

It's currently in an inflationary era of around 10% this year. Let's revisit the price around the time of the next halving. But yes, we are all guilty of wishful thinking (I know I am).
