Yes You will be fined for each coin you own, filthy Bitcoiner... ...and sent to the gulags for rehabilitation. First they have to find us all. I'll be sending the Bitcoin One out to securely evacuate all permabulls to the secret base.

415,000 coins left until 14,000,000 16,600 blocks left 115 days

People love these psychological points. We should get some press that 2/3 of coins are mined then. The rush for the last 1/3 will be on.
3/4 of coins will be mined at the next halving. So the next small whole fraction is 2/3.
Nice time for a rally I think.

I've been traveling a lot thanks to the coin and I have experiences like this surprisingly often. I was stuck in Stockholm on a flight from Latvia to the USA (jumped a train to Copenhagen rather than wait for the five day flight day courtesy of Norwegian but that's another story), and while we were waiting in a huge line trying to get into our free hotel for the evening I was talking about bitcoin to a young finance guy living in NYC. A guy in front of me on the line heard us and turned around saying either he lost money in gox due to the collapse or had traded poorly and lost that way. A few days ago in Mumbai at a Bollywood movie premiere I was talking to one of the directors and he said bitcoin had been very useful for him... Let us just say that lots of people around the world loved Silk Road. These are random interactions and of course do not include the many meetings with the true bitcoin faithful. Gotta say, I love it. Makes me happy when I see the cryptoanarchist dreams of the 90s coming true. This sort of stuff can be surreal, as all of you know we started so small with dreams. Reminds me of some quote saying the great events of life are not accompanied by a fanfare of trumpets like in the movies. But I find such simple coincidences amazing. We are part of something big.

Companies are being invested into so they can spit out US Dollars! Nobody cares about bitcoin!!!They're trying to extract money out of anything so if they can literally print money with bitcoin why the fuck wouldn't they? They're investing... Not investing in bitcoin. Get over it Nobody cares about you, yet still here you are kicking and screaming like a toddler. Therefore bitcoin will be a huge success. Get over it I have been on this forum for almost 4 years and have finally used the ignore button. Congratulations are in order for fewcoins!

Can you do a long term wave view like on the monthly chart? I would love to see that for some long term understanding of what this market is going to do. (I am a permabull of course...)

Loaded permabull here.
Same. Sorry trolls but you won't be invited to the parties on the private island. Fellow permabulls of course have permanent invitations.

Funny, I am as interested as ever. And sorry trolls, some of us did sell a bit at $1,000 (or even $1,092.77 and $1,123.00), but please do not be too jealous of the money which you missed out on. There is still time for you if you get in now while prices are low.

How is development going? On target for a release in January? IIRC the team is switching to twice yearly releases, is this correct? Looking forward to the changelog.

Stop trying to destroy this currency even more with retarded faster miners... shame on you guys! "Faster" miners doesn't affect the emission schedule They do. Otherwise Jan 2017 would be the halving but it's July 2016. Six month difference.

I think the halving will show the world that the coin is not something which is here for only a few short nights. It is a carefully designed economic mechanism designed to show its power to the world at key inflection points. The initial seeds were planted in the zeroth era. We are now in the first era and the sapling is taking root. It gains nourishment while remaining relatively unnoticed. Before long all will turn around and notice that its roots have grown into the bedrock of the electronic world. The halvings will play a role in this volatility as major economic events, scheduled like clockwork unlike the capricious order of old.
Then we party on the roofs of what once were banks.
