221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the 1st Gen NFTs have to be so damn Ugly? on: April 28, 2024, 09:53:15 PM
To be honest, there are many things i will probably never understand about NFTs cos I couldnt understand the inspiration behind its ugliness. I think it was odd how the first generation NFTs, especially this ape club, were ugly as hell. Sure, the whole nft idea was bewildering really, but why was it all so ugly as well?

is there a hidden utility in ugliness or am i missing something?
It is the community that drives the value of it but AFAIK, there's now 80% cost less from what it is used to be. Just like the meme coins, they're driven by the community that builds hype on it and that's why many of the influencers that have bought at the peak are now in total loss. There are some utility on it depending on the NFT that you're going to buy, I've seen some in the sol network that they're giving some dividends and for the BAYC, it's most likely the exclusiveness of its club to the owners of it when they've got events and passes for yacht parties.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of Predict to Earn Model? on: April 28, 2024, 08:55:53 PM
IMO, these models have their seasons that you're not going to see most often. There could be issues when the bull run is done and the majority of these models that have been built aren't going to last long. That's why I have stopped with looking into these "-to-earn" models because they're not going to be as good as the typical and established cryptocurrencies.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Please HELP: Sent ETH through Arbitrum instead of ERC20 network - Anything I can on: April 28, 2024, 01:26:20 PM
Dear forum members, I need your help. Not sure this is the right place to ask. If it is not, I'd appreciate if you could point me to another forum for this question.

Anyway, here's my question:
I made a very stupid mistake: I wanted to send ETH from Kraken to Deribit. On Deribit I created an ERC20 deposit address. When withdrawing (in Kraken) I made the mistake to select the Arbitrum Nova network instead of Ethereum. Very stupid, I know...Is there anything I can do at this point to recover my ETHs?
Only deribit can help you with this. No one has a clear answer here on what you should do, so contacting them is your best option. They can give you some option and you have to pay for their recovery of your fund or, you can't expect anything from them if they say that there's no way to recover that fund you've mistakenly sent to another chain.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable Games on: April 28, 2024, 11:14:08 AM
Can someone please tell me , right now which all games are worth investing time and money? And which games will give you ROI fast? Anyone here still playing axie infinitty and stepn? I was away from the crypto space after covid, so I dont have much information . Can somebody can suggest profitable games which can make a good pocket money monthly?
I think if you have been stuck with axie, they are giving weekly 10,000 axs pool for all of the playerd that will complete their daily bounties. I do not know for how long they are going distribute that but if you have existing axie it is good but if you plan to buy, I do not recommend.
225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there strategy to make profit daily future trade on: April 28, 2024, 10:11:46 AM
I have good knowledge with crypto future
I get signals from groups on telegram

But i got idea to make profit daily

I choose some coins potential raise and open long  positions on them and hold

For day until i get profit.. Is this good idea or let me know if there better idea
You decide your own trades, as long you are able to make profits and you are not endorsing this kind of service and you are not asking people to join groups that you have  in those signals because many here are aware of scam signals.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull rush Memories from the last pump on: April 28, 2024, 08:42:21 AM
Whenever I encounter an event with the potential to enhance my liquidity, it triggers memories of the previous bull run. During that time, my friends and I eagerly participated in such events to boost our trading resources.

We succeeded to accumulate a significant amount of USDT from the incentives offered. In search of more platforms/avenues to earn..Thats why I'm here.. This is a space to learn and share ideas. So I'm open to your notable experiences and suggestions

The common now is with the airdrops but they are different nowadays because they are requiring investments if you want to have bigger amounts of tokens as rewards. There are still some free but they are not a lot compared to those that invests.
But many of them are not guaranteed to succeed and that is why you need to be picky and DYOR.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Practical Coins on: April 28, 2024, 07:32:07 AM
Privacy coins are actually good if we are for centralization but anymore today. If you are aware of the news, you will see that the FED is chasing the privacy services like mixers and therefore, dash which is  concerned crypto for them together with monero is going to be scrutinized by them and will also be hot into their eyes. So for me, before it was practical to own dash because it was a profitable masternode before but I have no idea today.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post halving, why are altcoins the most affected on: April 27, 2024, 10:48:26 PM
Many of the altcoins are going to pump when we come into the phenomenon of "altcoin season". That's where a lot of altcoins are going to come into its pump but it's not limited to ETH and Doge. However, the two that you've mentioned are likely to have their own soaring moments but I don't know when it's going to start and for how long it's going to be like that. Just ready for whatever the market will show when we're already in the altcoin season but I have no idea when.
Because altcoins often attract the interest of investors who seem to have potential after the Bitcoin halving, recently the crypto market has experienced a lot of turmoil, especially after the halving, several altcoins experienced significant increases. This is because if we refer to history, the rise in altcoins tends to start immediately after Bitcoin halves. This has historically been a catalyst for changing market dynamics, affecting not only Bitcoin, but altcoins as well.
We just did with the halving a week ago and there's no significant ASAP push for the altcoins. Just like BTC, the alts have moved a lot before the halving.

Typically an altcoin rally is characterized by a rapid and substantial increase in the altcoin's market capitalization compared to Bitcoin. This phenomenon often occurs every halving and is usually short-lived and often does not last more than a few months. because at the same time the capital will return to Bitcoin.
Yeah, thanks for the description because that's actually an altcoin season or rally is. We've seen it weeks before the halving but it's not going to end it here. We'll see more of them soon.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 27, 2024, 09:53:25 PM
We're even getting paid in Bitcoin and getting paid in USDT isn't a problem. Just don't pay in random altcoins that have no liquidity at all.
This is the reality that most of us wanted to get paid in Bitcoin, ETH or any other top altcoins so receiving USDT as a payment is totally fine and not a problem at all.
Maybe what OP meant was related to your real-world job, not your signature. where the use of USDT is still limited and not all goods and services businesses accept USDT.
for those of us who use crypto every day in trading or store it in a wallet. USDT payments for our work will not be a problem. we can still send it to an exchange to convert it into fiat and then use it for our needs.
It's the same as getting paid in real world job, you get some ATM card and the company will pay you through that and you have to withdraw it wherever you can withdraw it. It's just the same as getting paid with USDT and that's why for me, it's not going to be a problem if that's the crypto that will used for paying my salary. It's not about that you're going to spend it directly on businesses because it's the same as Bitcoin that not all businesses do accept it and we have the process of converting it.

the instant someone receive their BTC if paid at current rate, they can easily convert it crypto is as liquid as ever, there's definitely no implication.
its just that maybe some people that aren't really well versed with cryptocurrency investment might fear losing their money even though its gonna be fine mostly if its temporary the volatility won't affect that much in my opinion.
It's a stable coin so there's no problem with USDT but you're right that some probably are only into Bitcoin and ethereum but they don't know a lot about stable coins and other cryptocurrencies. But once they started to understand and realize that there's so much with the crypto market and if they finds out that it's liquid, they're going to be happy to accept it as there's not that much difference aside from being liquid but it's just the same as the treatment we give to other known crypto as money.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Post halving, why are altcoins the most affected on: April 27, 2024, 07:32:12 AM
Bitcoin halving might have come and gone, but we won't forget the immediate impact it had on the crypto market especially altcoins, The immediate impact of the halving this year is not like business as usual when we always have a bull run after the halving event, we are experiencing a decline in price in Bitcoin and the crypto market in general with altcoins the most affected, some altcoins witnessed a 50% decline in price, while most experienced a slight decline in price,  Analytically some investors have predicted a bull run by next year which will also in turn affect the rise in price of some altcoins too, so putting this into consideration there are few altcoins to put our eyes on so we can Hodl which is the ETH and DOGE as they might experience a significant bull run in less than no time,

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MemeCoins Fuel the Next Crypto Craze? on: April 26, 2024, 11:57:47 PM
The rising meme coin mania shows the power of community narratives and viral cultural trends in this space.
Mate, you've mentioned the term. And with every mania, there's always an ending to it and you probably haven't seen it yet, that this craze has already started and will indefinitely stop soon. The narratives in the crypto market has been changing constantly and if so, you're going to enter on it be prepared for the changes that you're going to experience.

If cultivated right, the next memecoin could very well capture the spotlight in 2024's bull cycle.
While this is possible but when it happens, make sure that you have already taken your profits because these pumps that usually happen in the meme coins are gone quickly.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: World price tag on every product. on: April 26, 2024, 11:22:34 PM
A product that is been sold for $5 in USA should also be sold for $5 in Canada and China
Not gonna happen, what mostly happens is that products that's likely $5 in US and Canada are like $0.5 from China and they import it there.

this way it will help the world leaders to remove hunger in the world
Not that way of solving world hunger. What leaders need to do is to promote planting, starting from own backyards, to fields and even in the building apartments if they have small space.
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin’s bull run coming to an end? on: April 26, 2024, 10:57:14 PM
Quitting your job before having another stable source of income is foolish.  Roll Eyes

Many people make the mistake of quitting their jobs when they are starting a business or making an investment because they anticipate they aren't going to need the job anymore, but who knows?  Huh You might not get the success that you desire from your business or the investment you are going to make, so it's not wise to leave your only source of income for something that isn't yet a reality.

Make such decisions only when you see that your business has started taking off or your investment has started yielding profits, and, the profits from the investment or the revenue earned by the business should be equal to or greater than what you are earning from your job, that is when you can decide on quitting your job and focusing full-time on the other venture.
Many have done that when the NFT games have been on hype. I've seen people leaving their jobs because they think that they're already stable but no, they're not. The outcome is they're able to get some good times temporarily but then when the market went down, they have to go back to their former jobs or tries to find another one. The bull run will sure end but we don't know when but when it ends, make sure that you're able to partake and take that advantage of making some profits.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the Dubmest Thing Ever Invented on: April 26, 2024, 10:25:53 PM
Given that units in the Bitcoin system are not created as debt, nobody needs them, and thus, they contain no value. They are empty. They are indeed like envelopes and packages in our hypothetical crypto-post. Spending energy on maintaining the system where people transfer empty units, envelopes or packages is dumb. Spending money just to hold those empty units, envelopes or packages is dumb.
I have bolded the part for you where the value starts from it. The miners of gold can also be said that gold has no value because it just represents some shiny metal that has been dug from many ruins and mountains.

In short, Bitcoin is the dumbest thing ever invented.
Okay, you can say freely anything you want to say and trolling on a Bitcoin forum but can't change the fact that it's now $63k.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How it is possible to get MC in millions ? on: April 26, 2024, 09:56:31 PM
That's the meaning of hype. There's no actual basis on how a meme coins gets millions in market cap with just a few span period of time. I have been seeing no marketing involved but with just pure push through whales buying and contributing to those meme coins makes the other spotter of meme coins buy them. And that's why the domino impact is there and those developers really knows what they do but they don't stick to those memes forever because they're all ready to take cash.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Help you make money faster on: April 26, 2024, 09:25:02 PM
@OP, please don't create a lot of threads that you're asking almost the same thing that they've been all the same. And don't guarantee people that we can make money faster from that project you are endorsing because it sounds like a scam or it actually is.

That's why, in my opinion, people should stay away from this project
That's what mostly are trying to do when it seems that he can't reply to the people that have replied to this thread and the other threads he's made.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Harmful effect of robot to the world. on: April 26, 2024, 08:51:24 PM
The use of robot in the world is really affecting the economy and also causing unemployment.
If you build a company and you are making 1 million dollars as profit every month and then spends 6000 thousand dollars to pay your works and then you are given the opportunity to buy robots for 1 million dollars that will do the jobs your works are doing without it having faults for 10 years won't you go for it there by sacking your workers.
In the next 10 years there will be high rate of unemployment in the world because job's that should be done by humans are now given to robots and by so doing it will also affect the economy of the world.
It's the same as AI, this is where the world is going and if you are the type of employee that scares this. There is only one solution and that is to upskill.
While machines have operators then for sure that these robots and AIs will need someone for their maintenance and other stuff to keep them good.
With that, you need to upgrade your skills close to that or into other industries that you like. Investing and owning a business is also good even you're just a small entrepreneur.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto rewards that make you rethink spending on: April 26, 2024, 08:17:57 PM
Many projects are like that already, if you think that you don't want to spend that crypto reward from that project if they ever have a native token, that's all on you. Because most of these card providers, they're wanting their user to retain their token to maximize the benefits that they have and to have something for their own economy. This gives them the full idea that they're going to have users that will their token and the value of that token will be retained as well but, this isn't only exclusive to that project you've mentioned.
