801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are memecoins really important for the crypto market? on: January 29, 2024, 08:53:48 PM
Do you support the existence of memecoin in the crypto market?
Yes, it all started from Doge but it's better if it's the only one meme coin in the market.

Have you ever invested in memecoin? Which memecoin is that?
Dogecoin but I've missed the peak of it and sold too early.

Has your investment in memecoin brought you joy, profit or loss?
I am happy with that because despite the small profit that I've made. It's the feeling of being invested on it at a point of your life and seen it soaring although I was not part of it.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: January 29, 2024, 08:25:01 PM
It is okay to give up trading when you can't learn the charts and analysis. What you can do is to go the traditional way of being a holder. You're still a trader in papers but you're only going to do it when you're about to sell. That is okay when you understand that trading isn't for you and many are actually not making a lot of money there but instead, losing more money. And if you're one of those people, you're just trying to do something which is right and that's to revert that decision coming from a trader to being an investor.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BRC20 NARRATIVE IS SLOWLY TAKING OVER AS WE BUILD UP TO HALVING on: January 29, 2024, 07:56:41 PM
They're not taking over, in fact, the hype is becoming gone and the sign is through the fees. As it goes down, that means that the demand from them are also decreasing. Most of them are just like bunch of meme coins and that's why many are into it.
But eventually, you'll see most of these brc20 tokens to get the hype down and they're going to be just like normal altcoins that probably become pump and dump tokens soon or they'll become no longer relevant.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: seeking good projects on: January 29, 2024, 06:58:39 PM
Hey everyone,

Just joined Bitcointalk and super excited to be part of the crypto community!
Hey, welcome.

what will happen to the alt coin market coming months?
thanks
No one knows but take the example of the past bull runs whenever we are on it, many altcoins are also doing the same thing as Bitcoin. They go up but not all of them in the market are following. So, there goes usually the top altcoins that are also soaring high and those that don't usually have their own timelines or else, they're likely dead and won't be followed anymore by any pump.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: January 29, 2024, 06:05:20 PM
2 years passed, after the bear market and we're now going with the halving and bull run. And we're seeing signs it that we're getting closer to the bull run every time we see some increase for many altcoins. If you're a fan of it, you'll get to see that we're actually at the right time to keep on accumulating before it's too late.

Unless they are buying Bitcoin then that is another case to believe mate and indeed that we should understand the market first before giving a serious dicision that we will never regret.
There is no problem when someone is going to buy Bitcoin. Understanding the market is important when you have no idea on how it goes and you're choosing various altcoins.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH vs BTC future growth potential on: January 28, 2024, 11:34:34 PM
People might just go back on this thread and say that OP has probably earned more with the x100000 meme/shit coins or any altcoin.
But you don't have the same risk appetite as OP guys. Choosing 1 BTC and 1 ETH is one of the best decisions that he can make or even 0.5 for each of them is already a genius move. What matters is that, with these choices, someone can sleep at night without even monitoring the prices whether it is on dawn, day or night.
This is actually a nice investment choice and it's never too late to make such decision now, comparing the past market cap to the present and if op hold btc and ETH till this time then he's very lucky.
Making a wise investment choice is just the best and it safe investors from stress and thinking. Just imagine op mentioned some random new tokens or coins, op would have regretted why making such decision, always hold btc to avoid stress and it's the best investment for long term
Yeah, that's the key. If you want to avoid any stress and that's what you need to do. For you to avoid any problems in the long run with your investments. All you have to do buy is Bitcoin and if you want some altcoins then ETH is the best choice for them. But if you want to explore with other altcoins, then that's how it is going to be with most of your money.

so I believe no one will hold btc for short term and expect profit, that's impossible.
Not impossible, there are those that they can.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto arbitrage trading 6-8% profit in one round! on: January 28, 2024, 07:37:45 PM
Cryptocurrency arbitrage is the most effective way to make money on the Internet in 2024.
It's holding.  Grin

I been successfully finding current working trades for more than 3 years and carrying out profitable transactions with a difference in price.
I work in the field of crypto arbitrage if you are interested in crypto arbitrage, I am ready to share working schemes. My telegram for communication @pasha90x
There is no need for you to share that scheme with anyone else. If you have said that it is technically successful then why share it with anybody where in fact you can enjoy it without having to be generous to anybody? What I am saying is if it works, you can just do the whole load for yourself and enjoy the profits. Just saying.

I'm not greedy and I'm ready to share, but not everything, only with interested people. My telegram @pasha90x
Okay.
I'll just wish you luck with all of the people that are interested in this one. Actually I am interested with arbitrage but I've got some idea on it already and I don't think that I'll commit with you on this one. But anyway, that's it and I hope that there won't be some sketchy thing might happen to you or to anyone that will hit your DMs up.

809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Hidden Gems! on: January 28, 2024, 04:58:46 PM
Hello OP, welcome!

For beginners I think bitcoin might be your best bet it is after all the top one among all cryptocurrencies
I agree on this one. OP, you don't need to find those hidden gems because it's either you're going to miss them or won't really them if you just ask and won't do your research. We don't have crystal balls and those that have found it are likely lucky and was just able to buy them randomly or intentionally in a way that they've done their research. As you start, it's best to buy Bitcoin while learning.
810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading Strategies for Newcomers: Pointers and Suggestions on: January 28, 2024, 11:46:46 AM
Be careful when your emotions are high because intelligence becomes low when you are on that state. And for some to be calm when the market is too hyper and you can't stop yourself of being chill at that time, all you have to do is to find something that you are comfortable doing or taking. Like some comfort foods, games to play, smoothies or anything that makes you calm when you drink. As in do anything in your capacity just to calm yourself because you'll be the biggest loser when you can't attain to stop your emotion and you're pushed to do these trades that you're not comfortable.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL and XRP have the highest market capture? on: January 28, 2024, 10:47:01 AM
You mean market capitalization? I think that most of them will survive but we'll still see that some of them might be gone within the next few years. There have been a lot of cases in the past where altcoins that have been popular lost their popularity and then got out of the market and forgotten by the community. Right now, they're still known and has a high market cap but we'll never know with the upcoming years if they'll still be the same. But I think with ETH, it's a different thing and it is going to remain at the top, might be replaced somehow but with the possible ETF approval, it will remain strong.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie traders, work on yourself. on: January 28, 2024, 09:39:09 AM
Newbies should just forget about relying with shortcuts and trade signals but none of them will help them thrive to be a good trader. But if they want to taste how it is going to be with having bad experience then they can try if they are okay burning their money.
Because no matter how they shill these groups and trading signals, only owners of it will profit.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple looking for ETF, would it be the second one? on: January 27, 2024, 11:59:36 PM
It goes now as a pattern from these financial institutions on how they do it. Soon, we might see XLM comes next and the other top altcoins that are popular to these corporations that are interested in applying for an spot etf.  This is making the idea of more money flowing in to the market from all of these possible ETF applications.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to get coin listed announced and trusted here? on: January 27, 2024, 10:46:28 PM
What's a bounty?
Check here ~> Bounties (Altcoins)
There are many bounties that are being done there and for your question how to get trusted is that, it takes time. You contribute to your own community and even here and everyone will notice your help. That's how you get the trust of everyone but it's a different thing from being an individual contributor to being a contributor under working with a project.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: January 27, 2024, 10:11:05 PM
It's almost 2 years since the OP has posted this thread and yet it's still alive and people have just ignored the project that he has shilled.

People who are so desperate to make money quick will surely fall to invest project like this. Most new project are like to be scam project , it is good for people to take their time to find out to know if a project is worth to invest.  New projects are always not reliable that it is very easy for people to lose their money. How people have lose good amount of money in investing new projects in the past should have been a good lesson enough for people to learn and not to trust every new projects
That is so true. Many of the new projects aren't worth it to invest in our time and money. But let it be to those who are spotting out the new projects because they think that they'll make money out of it and that's the type of investor they are. They're checking it with their first glance and then many of them turn the other way around and becomes a scam.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Staking - Increased staking reward! From 7% to 11.5% CHANGED TO 9%!? on: January 27, 2024, 02:46:41 PM
But I saw that they have changed the reward for Solana staking from 7% to 11.5%!! [...]

Update: Today it changed again to 9.09% - Strange..  Roll Eyes
That's not strange if they're changing the APY because that's designed to change over time based on how many people are staking there. The more people stake, the lesser the APY and that's why it changes. It's actually better if you see that the rates decrease because it means that more people are on it. But if you don't like that, you better careful with the ones that are giving high APY's because you already have the idea that the legit ones don't have that much APYs.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Save while young better than wait on: January 27, 2024, 01:49:53 PM
It's true that 100 is worth today but what will be its worth after several years? The purchasing power of it whether it's in the form of dollars or any fiat currencies out there, one thing is significant and the same is that it will be lessened due to inflation. As for saving while young, it's also best to teach them to invest while they're young. Anything that's going to help them be wise on how they handle money is a win for most of the young ones.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US gov’s planned $118M Bitcoin sale is ‘peanuts’ compared to GBTC on: January 27, 2024, 12:34:40 PM
Technically, it's a lot of money but comparing it to the institutions, it's definitely peanuts. If we see the impact of it, there could be a slight move but compared to what the institutions sell-offs and buy orders. There is no doubt that they've got that much. And if the seized one are going to be sold, it is for sure that many would come to take it as it's like cleaned already by the government as it's obviously because it came from them. WHat matters there is the amount of Bitcoin that will be put up on sale.

819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Claim $WEN airdrop if you are active on Solana on: January 27, 2024, 11:19:45 AM
Congratulations to all of the eligible airdroppers for the WEN. I've seen a lot of people celebrated on it and I see people telling that they're going to hold it.
I'm telling you, if it's made you money now. Take it or leave it and go away with the money that you're eligible for. You'll never know if it's gonna be big soon but if it's about the free money, everyone has won on this.
$80 worth of free money, yum!
820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: January 27, 2024, 10:37:47 AM
Indeed, if you are not careful following this kind of action you'll see yourself losing your money. There are many things that you need to consider following new projects that being listed to good exchange, things that will allow you predict and assess if it's still good to place position or your should need to forget about that project and look for other project to invest. Though sometimes taking that risk may give you decent profits just not to allow yourself doing and over trade or taking long engagement to a new project that can collapse any time, it's a big risk for your money, just do your DYOR and take time in each decision you need to take.
Taking risk is like a double edge sword. It's either you win against the market or the market will win against you. If the approach is wrong, you'd definitely be disappointed with the result. And that's why you always need to test the waters so that you'll see if it's in your favor or not. If not, the wrong approach will teach you some lessons that you can apply when you're okay later. And if you don't, the cycle is there and you'll just repeat your mistake and you might over trade again and will absolutely lose the second time or more.
