1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - yes or no? on: December 20, 2023, 05:32:49 PM
Well there is alot of news about the Bitcoin spot ETF. And now there is suggestioins that XRP might also be getting a Spot ETF filed by wallstreet insitituons.
This is very 'bullish' news for me. And XRP tokens will gain big profits if this does happen.
https://thecryptobasic.com/2023/12/18/heres-why-wall-street-institutions-may-file-xrp-spot-etf/
If BTC will get an ETF, there goes the other one which was Ethereum and then there goes XRP. I knew the pattern for what's going to be on this market. There will be more of this for sure and that's why it's going to head over with the other known projects in the market. People might think that it doesn't sound good and right whenever it happens because nothing has happened on it during the past bull runs. But maybe this will be its next reason for its bull run.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading new listed coin/token on: December 20, 2023, 12:21:09 PM
In the first few days actually, this is normal for the newly listed coins in exchanges that they'll get some value and that's going to determine if they'll stay for so long. But also the choice of exchange is an important thing to them if they'll stay here for a longer time. That's how new projects goes and usually a dump is followed by listings so, most of the early investors can get out. But if they survive, then the rest gets hefty load of profit.
the trend of the market that is bullrun right now kinda changed that routine right now many coin after listing still holding its value for long because many people are also getting fomo into buying the coin and holding it instead, sometime the coin after listing are also having some rally like if i remember correctly JTO was having quite good rally after listing and instead of dumping it have some rally that increase the price to be quite high, and recently its ACE that have the same rally, I guess bullrun does affect greatly towards the listing of new coin it also prove that the decision of many dev to hold for another bullrun in releasing their coin to be right.
right now I believe can be a good time to invest when at first listing so long we can get the initial price its already good enough because the trend is rally.
even though there might be some coin that dumps after listing thats because the coin is fundamentally weak so its different based on quality alone.
While that's likely true, the reason behind most of the newly launched projects that are holding with their market and prices is due to the upcoming bull run. This is one of the signs that we're entering the bull run because most of these projects are getting success with their pre-seeds and launches. When they hit the exchanges, that makes them very reliable on the eyes of most of their investors but still they need to rethink because they're just launched at the right timing.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When #Bitcoin goes up to $200,000, what do you think the #decred will be? on: December 20, 2023, 11:08:27 AM
While I am in favor to see Bitcoin goes $200,000 soon, I am familiar with decred like this was one of the popular coins during the 2017 bull run.
While it's known that most of the cryptocurrencies are going to be bullish whenever Bitcoin is bullish, so you probably are expecting or waiting for some people to tell you that it's going to be bullish. If so, I am not that person that you're waiting to say but I'd speak for general market if Bitcoin goes $200k. Btw, I truly like whenever someone says something like this for Bitcoin.  Grin

I've just checked my wallet and didn't notice that I've been far behind with the blocks but so far I'm already on 2022 and updating it as of typing this.
Maybe some of you don't even noticed that so I did the favor to you to check out your wallets and let the blocks update up to the recent date that we are now.

1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: December 19, 2023, 10:53:27 PM
He is? I thought that he has quit his position but yes, even if he has already quit. No doubt that he's still the main guy. And with the news[1] years ago, that's why I felt like it was an abandoned project and the community is the one that sets for running it and that's why it's still there.

[1] ‘Conflict of Interest’: Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee Sells His Entire LTC Balance

Charlie Lee sold all of his LTC to make the project more decentralized. It would not look good for a cryptocurrency creator to have a large stake on the network (conflict of interest). LTC is now in the hands of the community. Just like Bitcoin. It's one of the few projects that actually supports decentralization and censorship-resistance. While other coins have cheaper fees and faster speeds, they're often centralized and unreliable.

It's not about the hype, but rather the usefulness of a cryptocurrency. The time will come when LTC will gather the attention of mainstream investors and traders alike. It has a limited supply of only 84m units, making it second next to Bitcoin in terms of scarcity (if I'm right). The crypto market often behaves in strange and bizarre ways, so expect the unexpected. Wink
Well, that maneuver he did seems to have a significant impact to Litecoin. While the project is now on the hands of the community, if it's about the progress of it, it's visible that there's not that much happening on it. I think that he should have stayed and did made a lot but then, no matter what happens to Litecoin, it's still no doubt one of the best altcoins to be used for transfers but with investing on it. I'm done with it long time ago.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 19, 2023, 10:14:55 PM
Then that's good. If you want to take profits with those, you should because if I am on your shoes, I'd take my profit with those alts and won't be having a second thought. Most of these alts are very fluctuating and volatile and that's why you may see it grow more or you'd see a drop and might just give you a disappointment after wards.

One thing I advise on Alticoins is to set a price target for them should they meet the target I would say take off some profit and probably leave some there. If the amount even doubles or triples you can simply just withdraw your own capital and gamble on the rest. This tactics should be used mostly for Tokens most especially meme tokens, because they are mostly pump and dump tokens. If the price begin to significantly increase then be sure to know that some investors most especially those who earned it through airdrops will sell off which will result in price fall
There are moments that we do ignore those 2x,3x or 4x gain because we're having a thought that it can go that much. The reason for that is they see other people flaunting their profits and they think that they should also do the same and reach those 100x+ of gains.
It's a different case per investor and there's no need to get onto the shoes of those people flexing their profits and just look up to your own investing journey because many of these tokens/coins are truly pump and dump and you might even get left behind if you don't do necessary actions.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who knows about cryptocurrency arbitrage? on: December 19, 2023, 09:54:27 PM
I get it.

Yes, these hacks do happen sometimes. You can read on the internet about Gala and about Crv. When Luna dumped, that was also arbitrage, for example. So I'm looking for people who are also interested in arbitrage.
Okay, I didn't know about that because the normal arbitrage that I know is the one that you'll look for exchanges to exchanges and compare prices with them.

i don’t personally dwell in trading most especially arbitrage it’s a very complex way of trading
There's nothing special with it, it's actual trading but more job to do as you need to check and compare prices from here and there.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 19, 2023, 09:18:05 PM
I have other altcoins I am holding that I am up 3 or 4x on but have not taken profit yet but thinking of doing so ,
Then that's good. If you want to take profits with those, you should because if I am on your shoes, I'd take my profit with those alts and won't be having a second thought. Most of these alts are very fluctuating and volatile and that's why you may see it grow more or you'd see a drop and might just give you a disappointment after wards.

just take my investment out then I am holding more with no risk.
Just do this and you'll have no worry whatever happens to what's left with your coins.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: December 19, 2023, 08:46:11 PM
I am not sure about AIdoge but Solana has regained its popularity and its ecosystem is also growing very fast. It looks like it got support from big peoples that is actively investing money for the development of the ecosystem and actively doing campaign to attract new investors. Those airdrop campaigns in solana's ecosystem were one of the initiatives that took the price of solana to a new high after a long bear season. I am not sure if it can keep up with the ETH network or not but the initiative was well organized.
That's what they want to do with Solana, to keep up with Ethereum. But will they be able to do that soon? Well, with what they're doing right now, they're quickly gaining the attention in the market because it is one of the big winners that we have prior to the bull run that we're going to see. Needless to say, they're doing their best and does a lot of projects and these projects are probably also supported by Solana itself and that's why many of them gains popularity and capitals that are millions especially these meme coins that are built on it.
1031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: December 19, 2023, 08:02:19 PM
thats right but what important thing is to know the right time to invest, because we can be investing in the best coin out there but if we invest at around the peak then I guess we gonna get mediocre result if not worse.
right now investing in bitcoin is still good idea, not to mention the fact that there has been some correction these days just make investing in bitcoin all more alluring but i'd argue that investing in altcoin that are top 100 and above are just as good.
because they also have tendency of increasing in bullrun market and their increase usually are also quite high, i would say that investing in bitcoin for half of the portfolio and the rest to some altcoin distributed across many good coin that we consider to be good enough for long term increasing to get best of both worlds then we can safely say that our investment gonna perform good when the bullrun is coming for real.
because the worst scenario could only come when instead of bullish that come its bearish, but at that worst scenario we could just wait it out because we know the coin we investing in is just good.
Every time is a good time to invest if you know the investment that you're buying. Because you can't go back to the old times when most investments are cheap and good. That's why the best time is when you are ready and you want to buy it as soon as possible. Not just to have with talks but you're willing to buy it then as you wish. DCA is there if you don't know when and it's all about the belief for your coin and how much you're going to risk on it.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: December 18, 2023, 11:46:16 PM
We aren't done with trash coins yet until we realized that bitcoin is the only solution provider to this, aside bitcoin in cryptocurrency, other coins are altcoins, there are also a number of shitcoins that constitute same, but there's a way we can also invest on some prominent altcoins from the list of best rated ones starting from ethereum and few others we can choose to go for if we have the experience and the ability to risk on them.
Just choose the altcoins that you know and believe will someday grow or as you've said, the prominent ones. We've got a lot of them and it's your choice on which is going to be your pick. There's lesser risk with them and that's gonna make you like Bitcoin because it's always been the stable crypto in the market. Stable in that sense that you've got assurance that it won't be rugpulled unlike the choice of many folks today, meme coins, NFTs/tokens, etc. Too rampant in that scene.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Future and AAA Projects on: December 18, 2023, 10:44:54 PM
Do you think that AAA Games have a future in crypto?
It's better for them to just maintain their status with their own communities and don't meddle anymore with the crypto market.

How upcoming projects can avoid a downfall like Axie Infinity?
I think that they're too confused. They keep on making new meta, every season. While it is making these updates the game more competitive, when it's too much, the players and investors don't like it and you can see the reflection of it in the market. Go with little updates I guess and also stop minting new tokens that are into your ecosystem already.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who knows about cryptocurrency arbitrage? on: December 18, 2023, 09:43:05 PM
Why there's a need to write you a DM if you can just discuss it on this thread for everyone's info? Are you inviting people to join a certain group or you just want to know more about arbitrage? If you're asking, I can't find any opportunity with arbitrage because of how volatile the market is.
I guess a few years ago, I'm very much active on it and it was a fun thing to do during day time when I don't have that much to do not until I start to see that networks get clogged and the rise of the meme coins.
I want to discuss in DM because I am looking for people who know, but I can discuss in this thread. I don't have any groups, but if there are any, I wouldn't mind joining to share my experience and learn more about arbitrage.
It's also because a newbie rank like you has got limited features for DMs. That's why if you're asking and want to discuss, it's better to stay here for everyone to see and you won't have troubles in replying.

And about the relevance you are wrong, arbitration was, is and will be. Of course now no one is arbitraging bitcoin from binance to kucoin for example. Often arbitrage comes from hacks, delistings, etc. And if there was no arbitrage, I would not write that I found an address with good arbitrage deals.
That's what I think because it doesn't work for me anymore. Arbitrage from hacks and delistings, that's new to me honestly.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: December 18, 2023, 08:50:59 PM
The aim of holding any coin is to get a good profit from it but the most important thing is to enter the coin at the right time.
And this requires patience, holding isn't just about waiting. Sometimes we're too impatient and we're losing it when the market doesn't do good temporarily.

If we buy it at the right time, we will get good profit. A wrong time entry can never give us good returns no matter how long we hold it.
I agree. We have to buy at the right time but there's also a counter there that we can DCA if we can't buy at the right time. That's the perfect strategy if you're missing a lot of good times to buy it in the past but if you believe into that coin, you better DCA.

1037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: December 18, 2023, 03:11:30 PM
I think, to identify scam projects in crypto. Their websites should be checked thoroughly. If their information is found to be similar to the projects that have been victims of scams, it should be understood that there is a high probability of scams in that project. Especially scam prone projects always offer high quality. And scammers use different tactics to attract people to those projects. But in my opinion it is very difficult for new entrants to crypto to understand the difference between legitimate project and scam project. Expert advice and reviews should be taken very seriously to identify and avoid scam projects.
A lot of these projects don't even have a real team. They just grab pictures on the internet and even names are the same. When you see something like that and the photos are odd, that's one way to know if they are real project or not. That's like the stage 1 of figuring out and there's more. If you will ever get into a better team, still, doubt them because not all looking professionals are also real. Always be in doubt when you are checking them.
1038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: December 18, 2023, 01:13:26 PM
that is if you have experience but most new project investors are also new to crypto in which being lured  in other platform such twitter and instagram so they have no complete idea what they are entering instead they are just seeking for instant profit that will bring them to doom eventually .
While those that are found on Twitter or any social media or channels and groups are taking advantage of these newbies. Yes, not all projects are bad but many of them are there to do harm to their investors. It is the problem of these new investors when they don't do their research because that's their money that shall be placed on this market and if they invest to the projects that they don't know, that's the mistake that they are making upon entering this market.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure your crypto wealth by not having it all in crypto on: December 18, 2023, 12:03:41 PM
Those that know how to store their cryptos won't have any problem having an all-in portfolio with 100% crypto.
Even if you know how to secure it, it's better to diversify and minimize risk exposure to one asset class.
Yes, but if it's about storing our crypto safely. We know how to do it and I also advise to diversify because it's best to get more exposure from different investments and assets that we may have.
That's a good strategy for you to grow on yourself and get a better portfolio aside from the crypto portfolio that you're building up. But again, if someone is confident and fine with having 100% of crypto on his portfolio, that's also fine.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I’m done with trash coins!! Looking for something promising on: December 18, 2023, 10:04:26 AM
I don't know how to trust Small capitalization projects now because indeed that back in the days , those small caps coins are best as they can go hype easily but nowadays they have been used by scammers to make their projects looks legit with lower caps but ending they are not.
Iagon maybe a good target but lets see if OP find this better though I doubt that he will still visit this thread of him.
From these people, they don't literally trust a project. As long as they can see some opportunities within them, they're buying it and that's why it's all about the early and potential profit when they're about to exit. It's about the tech? Forget about it, it only applies to Bitcoin and even if there will be new technologies that will roam this market, it's always going to be replaced with something new.
