2221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 11, 2019, 07:20:33 PM
In fact, if you are more scrupulous in approaching this issue, then any independence of a person and of those systems that he uses is quite illusory.  Independence does not exist, and the same can be said about anonymity, which is simply a manic idea of many, which is not feasible in our realities.  But in the future it’s very difficult to talk about it at all, as technologies are developing at a rapid pace.
Actually, I don't believe in the idea of being fully decentralized in the world. We may have in the far future but till then, we will be on other planets. And those who believe in fully decentralized worlds will be having a single planet for their ideas. On earth, it doesn't seem much possible.
Yes, we may reach the greatness and power but I'm still thinking that there's someone that will rule as the greatest of them all. It's very impossible for the idea of being a decentralized world because there will be always power and the desire to control things.

Even we're in modern technology where we use advanced technology, even the internet was developing, the decentralized world is very impossible.
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incorect price on Coinmarketcap.com on: October 11, 2019, 07:12:30 PM
There are times that CMC or coinmarketcap can't be considered as standard basis of the price of bitcoin. Maybe they're trying to average the value from different exchanges and it didn't result in your expected price.

Actually, our local wallet also has an exchange that gives an inaccurate price of bitcoin, it's kinda unfair but can't argue with that since it's a local wallet only.
If you're downloading on a reputable platform like google play/play store, there's nothing to worry about it.

Para naman sa mga nagdodownload ng modded apps sa apkpure, some of it are harmful sa smartphones pero most of the time, good siya. Pero not recommended to install modded apps since hindi ka rin sure sa source of the app (especially sa mga nagiinstall ng modded apps para makalibre ng subscription).
2224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we looking at Bitcoin down to $5K? on: October 11, 2019, 05:53:56 PM
I hope bitcoin will not reach less than 8k$, the year 2019 is coming to an end and still, bitcoin has no sign of getting up. The market is still fragile and unstable, long term investment is sure for now.

I thought bitcoin in 2019 is similar to 2017's bull run.

2225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: John McAfee Announced Bug Bounty Program on: October 10, 2019, 05:30:18 PM
--
He sold that company years ago, McAffee is more known now for his $1,000,000 Bitcoin dickline, where he's betting that Bitcoin will be worth $1,000,000 in ten years (less now) or he will cut off his penis and eat it. He's also known for drug related news and some weird body double leaking information (?)

It's just not someone I'm willing to put my trust in with coins on an exchange.

I see, so are you saying that it's not really worth it to trade on this exchange since it's related to someone that has many issues? I mean the DEX still has a good name since it's very popular and I think there's people that will still invest in this.

Well, there's a lot of coins that are valuable there so let's be wise on this.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: John McAfee Announced Bug Bounty Program on: October 10, 2019, 01:29:57 PM
If I'm not mistaken, McAfee is the security software right? and the company was named by the owner which is John McAfee.

It's a nice idea for them to enter the crypto world and apply their software to make maximize security on their platform. I noticed something that most of the popular software, apps, and other brands are trying to get their own coin, maybe for more profit.

John McAfee has earlier launched McAfeeDEX, a decentralized exchange. McAfeeDEX further announced the Bug Bounty Program on Oct 9, 2019.

https://coinpedia.org/cryptocurrency-bulletin/mcafeedex-bug-bounty-program/

I saw it on his twitter:

Source: https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/1181550249783054338

this will not end well for him and this exchange, I hope at least he will try to dig deeper into the consequences of his actions and make sure that people don't get hurt because of him

I think he should be more responsible for his actions since the community of crypto is bigger and many investors/users might turn off because of its statement.

2229  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Ban rate. 162/310 members = 52.25% on: October 07, 2019, 12:13:46 AM

I've also noticed that kasi ako mismo nagcheck ng forum nila, medyo yung iba paid to post talaga kaya andon sa group samantalang yung iba non-sense at common questions parang nagtransfer lang ng content from here to there.

2230  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Small-time tech shops accept Bitcoin as payment on: October 06, 2019, 11:55:48 PM

2231  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [GAME CONTEST]--💰🎁PREDICTION PRICE OF BTC in Q4🎁💰-- on: October 06, 2019, 11:53:46 PM
$11,699 is my prediction.

My 2nd time to join your contest, hoping to win this time. This is a risk for me since hindi naman ako sigurado kung babalik pa yung value ng bitcoin this time.

TA is to be follow.

Yes, napansin ko rin yon dati, my prediction was still counted sa list kahit wala akong TA. Maraming naconsider na walang TA that time pero nasa list. Technical Analysis can be done in different things at included na din don ang predictive model which prediction din, everyone can make their own TA based sa pinagbasehan nila. If ang basehan nila is just speculations from other people or kung ano mang source na hindi naman tayo sure kung legit, same lang din yon.

Yes, they wanted to have shitpost free in this forum kaya nila ginagawa yon. Some post are just trash at masasabi mong mema lang kaya nadedelete.

And good job for our moderators who still keep doing their best to make our community better.
2233  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Duration ng deleted post? on: October 06, 2019, 11:38:38 PM
Follow up question lang po.
Quote
Expect? Why you should expect na ma de'delete post mo?

Nope, you cant say to the CM na nabawasan ka ng post kasi pagkukulang mo yun, you didn't manage to create a good thread or post para hindi madelete yung post mo, hoping na maging lesson sayo ito to be better.

So it means na pay to post lang talaga ang main agenda mo, mahirap kasi pag ganyan ang gagawin, if you're motivated to create quality post baka sobrahan mo pa, be better nalang next time para hindi ka mabawasan ng post, basta hindi ka nakapag comply sa required post, wala kang reason para iconsider yung nagawa mo.
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZON IS A THREAT ON FACEBOOK'S LIBRA on: October 06, 2019, 10:57:28 PM
I am not sure why amazon would build something like that. Facebook makes more sense because their main income came from ads and it's hard to build a good social network when it's going to be infested with ads. So they wanted to expand and have even more data and money from their users. Their own money would serve the purpose perfectly for them, collecting more data and basically printing money by running masternodes.

Amazon on the other hand is already making money, they want the user experience to be easy. They might introduce easier payment systems but dabbling with crypto would mean they had to educate people to use it. And all they want is easy gui with easy shopping experiment.

Lol, amazon is more relevant to make a digital currency since they're a business where it involves money because it's an online store where you pay digitally. Facebook's Libra is just for the payment on the platform which is very irrelevant since we didn't expect that facebook will evolve on this level, i only see it as a social media platform.

That's another reason, amazon is making money and they can enter the cryptocurrency world whenever they wanted, they will not hesitate to do things because it's an advantage for them, they will not lose 'cause they can back up each gap on their actions.
2235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 06, 2019, 10:52:50 PM
I'm already thinking that bitcoin is my future, imagine that I'm also studying with a great course that's related to technology. Think of something that bitcoin will be more useful in your life not just investment but a business while bitcoin is still there to support you. Bitcoin has many things can contribute to our society to think something extraordinary that will make your life more wonderful because of this.

Investment was a great thing for investors (obviously) but I think there's something more that bitcoin can do, we still don't use its maximum level of existence.

Blockchain now was very useful and it's being applied on different studies, even in medical you can use blockchain, as long as it's data, you can apply those because blockchain is a new technology that we should focus also. Same with bitcoin, think of something that will apply it in different things, make it sure that's legal and very unique so people will also adopt the way you treat bitcoin. It's our future, make use of it..

Bitcoin is not just a digital currency that you can use when you need to do transparent transactions or anonymously and an asset that will help you earn profit thus it will give you a bright future when you use it in different ways. Actually people are using it in different ways now, people make it as business like bitcoin payment gateways.
2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 06, 2019, 10:45:37 PM
Exacly what is the Reason bull run have not started yet?
There is allready good things happening Bakkt, Binance, bitmex large volumes and so...
Still that all its not enough?
May be the bull is taking rest because all the events are not relevant  Tongue. Have you got any idea about the volume in Bakkt and if you are watching the market when Bakkt was launched the market started to fall, what do you understand with that situation, the market was holding together because of the hype it created and after the launch the investors were not impressed and started selling off. Who knows the volumes in those exchanges are real as these exchanges are known to provide fake volumes too. Have some patience we will have the rally in a couple of years time hopefully.

I think Bitcoin's downfall this month has no relation with BAKKT.

Just observe other things, not only in the crypto world because it might have similarities or factors you can consider to make bitcoin fall in the market. The bull run already started but doesn't reach the value it reached last 2017 but 2019 hasn't ended yet so still there's a chance, just wait and see. Black Friday is coming and people will invest more to have a little profit, people/investors/users always do this things.
2237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future prospects on: October 06, 2019, 10:41:23 PM
Bitcoin is for long term, don't make assumptions that it will have its downfall because market is just doing its purpose to make all assets like a signal, sine wave. The probability of bitcoin to be collapsed is when the whole internet crashed, that's the only thing I foresee to make bitcoin a huge downfall.

Regarding to gold standard, actually it's happening right now that's why you can see topics or threads that ask what will you choose, is it gold or bitcoin? Some people will always choose gold as the typical and common thing to invest since it's a physical thing you know that will stay longer. We don't know yet if bitcoin will really stay since it's digital and we're hoping that we wouldn't go back in the stone age.

That someone who's trying to take advantage of bitcoin is Craig Wright, people think he's the legitimate satoshi even though he doesn't give any valid evidences that he's the real satoshi. I'm tired of him already...
2238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Relying On ‘Coffee Stains’ And ‘Rusty Staples’ In McCormack Case on: October 06, 2019, 10:34:55 PM
Obviously the court will no longer approved his request to be the owner of bitcoin and be satoshi, so many trials but still no good evidence.

What kind of evidences is that? It's very shady and he's doing it just for the show. This is a good plagiarism technique to make something special in your hands, putting some coffee stains and rusty staples on the paper. I'm really done with Craig wright, he's being desperate on this. The fact that he doesn't own the million bitcoins and doesn't have any proof that he made the whitepaper, then he's not satoshi. The real satoshi is already resting because he/she made a wonderful idea that is being used by millions of people.

Craig wright don't know when to surrender but don't know how to fight, lmao.  Grin
2239  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: October 06, 2019, 10:18:48 PM
Congratulations on this update bustadice and happy to be part with you even though i'm just in a campaign.
This is the one of the great patch notes on a betting site that I've seen, typical update but new changes.

Unfortunately there aren't any other decent investment opportunities that I know about. Yolodice recently closed investment completely (I think the owner had most of the bankroll, so it makes complete sense). Crypto-Games returns are quite low. And there isn't much more.

My advice to any investor is that they should stay put and see how the format works for them because when you weigh up less profit along with safety, security and excellent reputation - sometimes it makes sense to at least invest with an almost guaranteed winner rather than website that might guarantee some profit but has nowhere near an excellent reputation as Bustabit/Bustadice.

If after a few week investors decide to pull out then at least they gave it a fair try. Hopefully they will find something else that makes them happy.
Agree, tho there's a lot of gambling sites out there that guarantees you to give huge profit but bustadice will give all you wanted, not a common gambling site and has a great reputation for how many years. Hopefully, bustadice will still continue its legacy in this scene.
2240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is successful? - this one statement sums it up! on: October 06, 2019, 10:01:34 PM
Are you referring decentralization? The fact that you said you where no one can control bitcoin because it's decentralized. That's why investor and other users wanted it because of its potential as an independent cryptocurrency.

Another thing is having an anonymity gives great factor for those who wants to do transaction secretly but the tx is recorded and transparent in the block chain. But still, bitcoin is being promoted by other people who is affiliated to satoshi or admins, some of it are are being promoted in social media so I think they're still doing and have social media. I don't know if it's legit but if satoshi really created this forum, then theymos is one of the employee here, but not in bitcoin, only in the forum.
