2241  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 24, 2013, 11:36:01 PM
Will someone tell me what bcp19 exactly wants?

A friend maybe, to derail the thread possibly. He did invite me to his house to see his accomplishments earlier. Stranger Danger went off in my head.
I really don't care if you sue BFL or not, it's your money.  That said, a lot of the claims made here are flat out fiction.  In honesty, the inflammatory statements and outright lies made by some make it appear they only want to bankrupt BFL regardless of where or not they truly are a scam.  They are rallying the hordes to their cause and shout down any attempt to shed light on their claims.  I must be a huge friend to BFL to call them out for only having gone through less than 10% of their orders in 2+months.  I could be wildy wrong, the refunds I estimate at 10% of orders could be as high as 30%.  Maybe they truly did only have 90 total mini rigs ordered and are closer to 50% shipping on them.  It's all wild speculation though.

You're the one who kept calling me a child, were you afraid I'd get you on charges of being a pedophile?
Reminder:
BFL started shipping on April 1st 2013 according to normal folk, but according to Luke Jr. they started shipping on March 31st 2013.
(Counter-to-counter courier services provided by Josh Express®)

So it has actually been 4+ months.

too bad my IQ isnt higher... maybe i wouldnt have wasted 10 minutes reading this this crappy thread...
If you had an IQ of 190 and EQ of 10, you would have known this before having started.
2244  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to sue ButterflyLabs - Big Single-SC owner let's league for class action on: August 24, 2013, 09:47:58 PM
Holy crap. BCP19 is the latest BFL sock. Everyone hail to the king of socks!
A sock? Hmm.
IQ: 148
Attended M.I.T. for 4 terms (could not afford to graduate)
worked odd jobs for 2 years
Joined the military.  Scored in the 98th percentile on the ASVAB.
Trained as an Aviation Electronics Technician
Worked and flew on the P-3C, in excess of 3,500 hours of flight time.
Retired after 20 years.
I sure don't see sock puppet in there anywhere, sorry.
Alright, I take that comment back.

- because no one on the Internet lies
- because anyone who feels the need to advertise their IQ has a problem with their ego

The truth as I see it is that 148 isn't in all actually very high.

I have witnessed very intelligent people (with IQ's slightly higher than 148) who are inept in all sorts of ways. Intelligence is just a small part of the equation in a really swell functioning human being.

(No, I am not kidding)

In either case, that IQ should help him in the warped logic being applied at BitCoinTalk. There is never a guarantee that it will help him (as the mods will no doubt be nodding as they read this).

Fraud is easier to prove in this case. All the elements of fraud are present in this debacle. We all need to contact the Department of Justice, FTC as well as write your Congressman. The more you shed light on BFL's practices, the sooner they will get investigated if they aren't under investigation already. So let Joshua and his minions of puppets keep trying to derail the thread and put doubt in your resolve.
Then get off your butt and stop posting!  Go file that lawsuit!  Let the lawyers be the only profiteers!!

I think you should grow up and have some maturity. Don't you have some homework to do child, the adults are speaking.
Then you should leave the room, sonny.  I'm retired military and the homework days are so far behind me that you probably can't count that high.
bcp19, are you against people filing against BFL?
I am neither for nor against it, I just feel that more facts than have been thrown out here need to be considered.
Can you list a few bullet points that need to be considered?

If you were standing in these folks homes right next to them. What would you advise as a course of action?

But, Judge, Josh Zerlan called Satoshi Nakamoto a Monumental Asshole.

Case reopened!
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PG IS SATOSHI NAKAMOTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FOUND HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What? no reward?Huh?
Josh, is bcp19 your latest sock?

I want to state that I have reason to believe that this is not the case, and that they are two different people.
Do they work at BFL?

Edit: Don't tell me...It's SLOCK?

Nah, just a dude in Iowa.
Why does he/she/it agree with absolutely everything that BFL does? Heavy investments or just shilling for the sake of shilling?

He is even hitting the BFL forums pretty hard right now. (bcp19)

2251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL MiniRig Line:Concerned on: August 24, 2013, 06:38:18 PM
In my opinion every mini rig that is shipped with a pay date later than the current single date is a stolen board from that production line (they use the same boards if I am not mistaken). Every single that is shipped ahead of the current 3rd mini rig ship date is stolen from that line.

They are absolutely not following their 1/3 shipping plan and they are just doing whatever the hell they feel to give the illusion of shipping faster or giving certain people benefits.

They way they are running this show is a completely retarded train wreck.

Furthermore their monarch line released last sat morning starts a whole new pay date regardless of your original pay date unlike current waiting line. The early numbers for that (people who supposedly will get the cards months before people who converted a day or two after the announcement) were sold out almost immediately..Gee I wonder who got the heads up on that....
wow, they stole for the mini from the singles while stealing for the singles from the mini?  That means they stole from the mini for the mini!!!!!!!!
Sonny, is BCP19 your latest sock puppet?

^Yes, keep items at their starting price forever and make ROI near end of time..
Has anyone ever made ROI on an AsicMinerUSB ?

Well I am new to Bitcoin mining and I am looking to get 10 Erupter to get to learn a bit the mining scene.

I dont expect to become rich but according to bitcoin profit website, 10 USb Erupter of a total of 3330 Mh/S x  current difficulty 50,810,339 x BTC/Block 25.00 x W25 (w2.5 x 10miners) x Electricity per kwh USD $0.15 = $315.29 on a 3 months frame.

Plus counting the raspberry pi which I will be using to run the mine client which I would assume it might be an additional $15 to skim off, you will end up with $300 on 3 months frame, means that you will be able to pay back the miners within 5/6 months, this still according to the bitcoin profit website.

Again, you certainly don't become rich, but it's something, and once you have paid back for the miners and ur hw, the rest will be ur effective small ROI.

you've not accounted for a 75%+ increase in difficulty every month.  When you do, you never pay off the investment.  This has been the same with every price point on the BEs since they were released.  Do the math again, and every ~11 days, increase the difficulty by 25% and see what you come up with..
Exactly.

The sad truth is, that Friedcat should have sold his USB versions for the price they are going at now...way back then.

If he had, then everyone would be happy. Resellers and End users.

That isn't the case and never will be...He is perfectly aware of how he is setting his prices and what that does to everyone down the line.
Almost an MLM scheme...

Wait a second latrina...(nice name by the way)...

Are you factoring in climbing difficulty in your calculation or are you just using 50million difficulty and multiplying 1 month by 3?

2259  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC Firmware & Hardware, Understanding & Optimization on: August 23, 2013, 01:22:16 AM
Please note that the two reported temperatures from the single-sc are not everything. This values are coming from two sensors, which are somewhere between a 8-ASIC cluster and the +1V regulation for this cluster. They are not in the ASICs or inside the 8-ASIC cluster circuit nor inside the +1V regulation circuit.

Even if you may see only a small temperature increase by changing the fans or even see a decrease by changing the whole setup by e.g. opening the box or something like this, it doesn't mean that the ASIC's or any other important parts are not getting much more hot than they should. Also watch the hardware error rate carefully!

Soon I'm ready to report my results from looking for fan alternatives....
In effect, what you are saying is...the chips are actually hotter than reported. Correct?

Is that a good thing?
