Put me in for $16990.

I figure we'll rally in Nov/Dec but fall just short of an ATH and then dip by a grand or two.
_________

One-six-nine-ninety
Autumn rally will fall just short
And then dip slightly.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going sideways I see... currently $8181USD/$10835CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Ho hum.

Caring about the environment is for pussies. You're supposed to eat raw meat and fart diesel fumes if you want to be a right wing Alpha in this day and age. If you want to prove yourself go bleach a coral reef and burn down a rain forest.

Hey. Don't denigrate raw meat.

I love raw meat and I'm not some knuckle-walking conservative redneck. Not some politically correct goody-two-shoes liberal either.

Alphas have better things to do with their time than waste it on politics.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $8k continues... currently $7969USD/$10555SAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Seems like only last week we were battling for $10k. Oh yeah, it was just last week.

Shit happens. Hopefully I won't have to buy any fiat for month-end expenses.

Go Bitcoin go.

I think Schlitzie was a guy.

Indeed. Born Sept 10, 1901 in the Bronx possibly as Simon Metz but dressed and billed as a woman for theatrical reasons.

In Todd Browning's "Freaks" she was always referred to as a female but later in life he was billed as a male. I still remember the barker's spiel: "Schlitzie is here! Schlitzie wants to see you! Is he a man or is he a monkey? He has a head shaped like a a coconut... turned upside down!" She still wore the pretty little frocks though.

IRL he was pretty androgynous. Apparently those close to her called her "he" and "she" interchangeably. She always struck me as more feminine than masculine so this is why I called him "she".

It seems strange in this age when people think they can choose their "gender" by what they identify with, that there was a time when it was chosen by other people.
2264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 26, 2019, 10:36:37 PM
your mom is ugly

Hey. Leave Schlitzie alone.

I met her back in the early 1960s when she was still working the freak shows.

She was actually quite the charmer (for a microcephalic).

Probably smarter than some of the trolls here too.
2265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 25, 2019, 03:05:30 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

I see we've leveled out around $8.4k... currently $8412USD/$11166CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Hopefully that was it for the pre-Q4-rally shakeout.

Go Bitcoin go.

some may have pre fork btc sitting around. so by default, it doesnt really matter as one has all versions since anyway.

HODL has many advantages for the lazy.

No kidding. Especially for the more security-conscious.

If it takes time and travel to access most of your many cold storage wallets, there's a tendency to leave them alone.

Therefore they tend to still contain all the forkcoins along with the real Bitcoin.

When the need to sell some coin arises, it's easier to sell post-fork coins because they're probably closer at hand.

As it is, whenever I sweep a cold storage wallet, I mark it as swept and keep it for possible future forkcoin retrieval.

Wow. Nice dip. Too bad I didn't have a bunch of spare fiat laying around to take advantage of it. Oh well.

Seems to have bottomed out around $8k.

It sort of reminds me of the Sept 2017 dip when it crashed all the way down under $3k after hitting $5k in August.

Let's see what Nov/Dec bring.

Good morning Bitcoinland from the lovely Muskoka Lakes of Ontario. September is the loveliest month here. The days are warm but not too hot, the nights are cool but not too cold, and the bugs are gone. The lake water is still fairly warm, the forest floor is dry enough to walk almost everywhere and the wildflowers are resplendent. Best of all, because so many people think summer ends with Labor Day, the place is almost deserted. No screaming kids or drunken yahoos. Life is good.

Meanwhile, the Bitcoin price has taken a wee dip back to 4 digits and we're waiting to unbart... currently $9915USD/$13158CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

The battle for $10k continues. Not too many more weeks until launch time though.

Go Bitcoin go.

Damn!
Real life got me in the wrong moment!

EDIT:
I swear I saw  serveria.com message as the winner.

Yes me too.

Someone has deleted posts, this is not serious, gentlemen.

Remember page 10000?

That was some serious deletion jockeying.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 16, 2019, 03:34:46 PM
25000

This isn't nearly as much fun as pages 1337 and 2600.

My posts on those pages are probably moved way up though, even if for no other reason than Ritchy deleting all the Chartbuddies.
2271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 16, 2019, 03:12:14 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Tiny dip but still going basically sideways... currently $10180USD/$13499CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Yawn.

When page parity?

When double page parity?

2021?

Fuck lawyers, the only time they have their hands in their own pockets is during a Blizzard.

What's the difference between a rooster and a lawyer?

A rooster clucks defiance while a lawyer...
_____

Actually, I don't hate lawyers. I hate other people's lawyers.

 Grin

Don't forget to pray to the God to bring more bulls here. Grin

Don't worry. We've got lots of bulls (and fatted calves) here already.  Cool
2274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 13, 2019, 02:26:31 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Still going sideways... currently $10317USD/$13646CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

I guess no news is good news.

Roach its about time for you to make your prodigal son's journey home to Bitcoin the almighty father of coins.

-snip-

You forgot the part where the devout Bitcoin-loving neighbors, jolly from a lifestyle of eating fatted calf and drinking fancy drinks daily (we won't name names) raised their glasses in laughter and rejoiced in the fact that maybe the silly twit had finally come to his senses.

Hallelujah!

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The summer-long battle for $10k continues... currently $9975USD/$13135CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Ho freaking hum. More coffee please.
2276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2019, 06:33:28 PM
Good day Bitcoinland
Ten four four two U.S. bucks
(Bitcoinaverage).

Still going sideways
When will this crap ever end?
Maybe November.
2277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 07, 2019, 02:03:34 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Leveled out and going sideways after yesterday's little correction... currently $10420USD/$13725CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Still well up on the week though. It's starting to feel like we're almost done with 4 digits.

A couple more months and we should be on our way.

Go Bitcoin go.

Are you long or short? What % of capital? What are your take profit and stop loss levels?

Long.
Almost all of capital (excluding personal items like art, real estate, antiques, musical instruments etc.)
No stops.
Take profits only when absolutely necessary.
Acquire more whenever possible, especially when the price dips.
Live happily ever after.
2278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 05, 2019, 10:47:59 PM
Wtf exactly is a “libtard” anyway ,ffs?

It's a term used by conservatards.

 Grin

Actually, I prefer "polititard".
2279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 03, 2019, 01:23:57 PM
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Nice to see we're back in 5 digits again... currently $10701USD/$14305CAD (Bitcoinaverage). Also back up over 70% dominance (CMC).

I still think it's a little early to declare the battle for $10k to be won but the autumn (N. hemisphere) run up should be starting in not too many weeks.

Go Bitcoin go.

Not sure how accurate this source is.

Yeah, but you did not even provide the source.

The sources are in the image.

This must be an older graphic, the user base has definitely grown hasn't it?

2013 to be exact.

Indeed a lot has changed. The age range has expanded considerably and there are many more women involved now, at least where I live.

Also the income profile has probably expanded as the Bitcoin community has grown. 6 years ago we were mostly well-educated geeks with comfortable tech jobs, businesses, or retirement/investment earnings. Now there are more students, laborers, pensioners, and others with smaller incomes involved.

I'd also guess that "Americans" (North, Central, and South) no longer are in the majority.
