I downloaded the jar file and also did not open. After starting nothing happens.
I don't know what to tell you. I don't have 32-bit windows to test it on, but I've had several other people say that it works for them (presumably on 64 bit windows). Maybe if you launch the jar from the command line you'll get some kind of error message. It's kind of hard to diagnose what the issue is when you just say, "After starting nothing happens."

Do you have Java installed? You need to have a JVM installed to use the program.
Yes, I have Java installed. JVM and JAVA is the same or not? Yep, they're the same. I think you need at least Java8. If the program isn't even opening, it's nothing to do with simplewallet. Maybe download the jar rather than the exe and see if that works, or if you can manage to get some more useful error message than it just doesn't open.

Hi people! I downloaded Monero light Wallet from the official site but when I try to run it is not anything going on. A site virustotal generally defines a virus in this file. What should I do? My operating system is 32-bit Windows 7
I just checked on virustotal and the only hit is for: McAfee-GW-Edition BehavesLike.Win32.Suspicious-JAR.rc 20160414 Maybe that's because it's a jar stuffed inside an exe? If you don't trust the exe, run the jar. If you don't trust the jar, you can build it from source or don't use it. I just checked, and even if you don't have simplewallet in the same folder it should still open. Do you have Java installed? You need to have a JVM installed to use the program.

Maybe I'm retarded, but I can't even see how to launch the game in the browser anymore from spellsofgenesis.com. Can someone post URL of actual page where you begin a new game? Also, everytime I log in it sets French as the language, and if I switch to English it stays as I browse website, until I clike on the My Profile link, then it switches back to French...which is kinda weird. Does that count as a bug? edit: Nevermind, think I found it, it was just in French on my profile page :/ Here is the link in address bar on My Profile page: http://www.spellsofgenesis.com/users/my_profile?lang=enIt says 'en', but it's all French, the button to test says "Tester la version Beta". If I click that it takes me here: http://www.spellsofgenesis.com/users/alpha?lang=frWhich is in French, but if I manually switch 'fr' to 'en' it is in English now. Definitely seems buggy...

HI I am a new to dashcoin, and i just install my wallet and want to make transaction and i am confused what to do with id payment, can anyone explain to me how can i know what is my id payment or how to find it please thank u you can send coins without using payment id, if you will send coins to poloniex exchange, payment id is required though.. haven't generated payment id for myself...anybody who can teach how? If you mean a new payment ID in poloniex, they have disable that possibility. no, I mean generating payment ID from my PC, using our dashcoin wallet...I believe this is what NEKOGAMI is asking. It's just a random hex string (well, doesn't have to be random, but it is a 64 character hex string). You can do it in a one-line function with python like: # Generate random hex strings for payment id def gen_paymentid(): return ''.join([random.choice('0123456789ABCDEF') for x in range(64)]) Or you can use this website: https://www.randomlists.com/random-hex

I'm interested. Gotta buy the whole lot, or could I buy five or ten rounds?

It's a feature, not a bug!

OK, thanks, I didn't realize they had 32 bit builds there now. I'll see if it works for me and PM you when I get around to it.

I did so, but the program does not start
Hmm, I haven't tested with the 32 bit binaries. Could you tell me where you downloaded them from and I'll try to test it out this weekend or next (not sure I'll get to it today or tomorrow and then I'm traveling for a week)?

I put the file lightwallet.exe in the same folder with the file simplewallet.exe but a graphical shell is still not started. What am I doing wrong?
Did you find a 32 bit copy of simplewallet? The one on getmonero is 64 bit and won't work on your computer.

I was thinking synereo was possibly meant
Ohyea, could be, I'm often wrong when pretty sure

Sonearo...
I don't even know what that is, and I've never posted about it (and only rarely about ETH). But let's try to stay on topic on this thread and discuss Monero. This is not a thread about 'negativity' and whether you think crypto should be full of smiles and flowers and campfire songs. Not sure if you intentionally feigned ignorance, but I'm pretty sure Sonearo is a mangling of Monero, intended to evoke So-near-o, as in the GUI will be out any time now, it's so near (o).

Well, I don't know why it would say it's a virus, maybe cause it's a jar stuffed inside an exe, but you can't run it on 32 bit Windows unless you have a 32 bit simplewallet binary to use with it. You have to put simplewallet.exe in the same folder as lightwallet.exe (it's just a gui wrapper for simplewallet). The release is here: https://github.com/jwinterm/LightWallet2/releasesI think there are some 32 bit binaries available, just not official ones I don't think.

For the record, it was I that purchased the 230k.

Is the new(er) version(s) only for Android and iOS? You can't play on desktop or laptop anymore?

Nice job!
I'm just curious but wouldn't it cause issues if let's say half the network start mining x17 and blake on the new wallet while the rest of the network is on the old wallet rejecting those blocks?
I mean shouldn't the changes happen universally with a fork at block #x for everyone?
Think there is another hard fork planned at block 350000, the changes happen for everyone then, or you get dropped off the network that the exchanges are on (well, besides yobit apparently).
