2261  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far bitcoin will it go this time and why? on: May 10, 2019, 05:12:46 PM
12k by end of this year.
20k one year from now.
75k by end of 2020.
100k two years from now.
250k by end of 2021.
Fall to 25-50k by 2022.

Alternatively, there is the hypothesis of a five-year cycle.
Although the halvening happens each four years, a five-year cycle would imply in a more smooth increase, and a smaller bear market in turn. For a five-year cycle, we would reach 100k by end of 2021, 250k by end of 2022 and 1 million by end of 2027, in which point I think it would stabilize. I have a guess that some exchanges want this to happen, as it would bring more adoption of bitcoin as a currency, and not just as a speculative asset. Also, 2027 follow Casares prediction. This gives plenty of time for LN to develop and increase bitcoin use for retail markets.

Interesting figures but I would really like to know how did you get them. Probably just out of the blue because I can't see any solid ground based analysis that would support such figures.
It's interesting to see how every time when the price goes up we see exaggerated predictions based on nothing and as soon as starts to fall there start threads about Bitcoin being dead. Let's see what will happen this time.
2262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rises very fast! on: May 10, 2019, 11:35:16 AM
It's obviously more investors present on the market and demand is bigger but I would be very careful with fast price rise. This can often turn the other way around. Although now the price is not so sudden and not even continuous, some smaller corrections are happening all the time. Anyway, I prefere more steady, slower rise than instant pump.
2263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that bitcoin has crossed $6100, what are your thoughts? on: May 10, 2019, 08:23:38 AM
The first step was taken when bitcoin rised by 1k usd in one day. After that price went up and uo from 4k with some falls but quick fixes.
Now 6K will be a stable line, maybe we will see price under 6k these days but soom it will become stable amd rise will continue slowly up to 7k and more. I think this will be a logical continues of current situation, especially when binance's hack had zero negative affect on bitcoin's price.

That is all true, except that nothing doesn't have to be logical when it comes to Bitcoin. Although price has crossed 6000$ I'm still not sure that resistant limits are broken. There is still possibility for price to pull back. Maybe this sounds too harsh but years spent with Bitcoin has thought me to be very careful with predictions and expectations.
2264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still bother to engage non Bitcoiners? on: May 09, 2019, 07:26:51 PM
There will always be people who will not support Bitcoin. It's impossibe to achieve that everybody likes everything and so it's with Bitcoin too. I try to explain people the benefits of Bitcoin and encourage them to try it on their own but I'm not trying to persue anyone. But I still beleive that with time more and more people will embrace Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies the same way they did it with fiat money.
2265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that bitcoin has crossed $6100, what are your thoughts? on: May 09, 2019, 05:38:01 PM
Well, the price went down a little and now it's just a bit over 6000$. Although I'm happy that price is showing recovery signs I'm still not convinced this is the process that will continue. To my opinion in the next period of time price will still fluctuate between 5000$ and 6000$.
2266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 09, 2019, 09:01:18 AM
Every user probably has developed its own way how to best protect the coins according to the needs and preferences. Personally I never keep my coins in online wallets or exchanges. These are the most vulnerable places and you can easily lose your funds.
Also it's very good habit to keep coins in multiple wallets, not in only one and it's good that one of these wallets is hard wallet.
2267  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lack of Bitcoin debit card providers on: May 08, 2019, 07:14:22 PM
So far Wirex and Bitwala have been the only one to be able to recover the Wavecrest fiasco, after months and months of bureaucracy and a lot of money.

As ever it's the crypto bit that's easy. As soon as it hits conventional finance it becomes much, much harder.

It looks like Wirex and Bitwala have negotiated exclusive partnerships that must have taken quite a bit of convincing to secure.

I think people are expecting another Wavecrest, who clearly didn't a give a shit, to start issuing again to anyone who likes the idea. Not gonna happen.

I know Bitwala partnered with Solaris Bank (or SolarBank) in Germany. So they use a Baas (Banking As A Service) instead to rely on something like Wavecrest. On top of that, your funds are guaranteed by the govt (like any bank account; At least in my country and Germany, I suppose other EU countries have this guarantee too)
For someone who wants to create a company like advcash etc, It's much more flexible in the end, and there are established Baas like Treezor or Fidor.
Using a Baas seems to be a more convenient alternative they can use but pretty sure the company location matters as well. See for example Coinbase card for UK, Wirex is from UK

So, how it's Bitwala, any experiences? I use Wirex and so far I'm pretty happy with their card but I would also like to have another one, as an alternative. Wirex is UK based and I.hope Brexit will not influence their business and policy but you never know.
2268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance traders are making more money than other traders on: May 08, 2019, 05:51:12 PM
I don't think that any exchange has more favourable conditions than the other that would enable bigger profit for traders. Binance is not exception. If such claims were true then all traders would use the same exchange so that makes no sense and I don't think that anyone would fall for this.
The only difference among exchanges is user experience, customer care and safety and security features but not bigger profit.
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: No bull market for 2019 on: May 08, 2019, 12:39:22 PM
Everyone are talking only about bull market will it come oe or not, are we having it now or not and whatelse. But instead to be so focused on predictions and expectations of bull market users should more focus on present situation and what market is currently offering, how profit could be made now. It makes no sense spending time just waiting for something that might or might not happen.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin recover again above $ 8000? on: May 08, 2019, 09:21:18 AM
First the price has to reach 6000$. Although this might seem very close and easy don't forget how easily Bitcoin price can change.
It's possible, of course, to get to 8000$ and it will happen eventualy but it's the question when. Currently we have a situation when next short period of time will show if the price will cross 6000$ and move forward or it will stay fluctuating in current range.
2271  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: May 07, 2019, 07:26:05 PM
Those who have big capital will surely get big profits, and they know the big risks they will face but they are brave and the risks they will face will be defeated with ambition to make big profits.
and whatever the risk will be a lesson that will produce good profits, the most important is knowing the right time to sell it.

Big investment could bring big profit but big loss too. It's very important to define the risk apetite and how much you can afford to lose. Big investors usually have a big free amount to invest so they could potentialy handle the bigger loss to but no matter to that it's always good to have back up and exit strategy because no matter the trading skills, experience and different analysis trader should never forget that Bitcoin could be very unpredictable.
2272  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is This The Last Time To Buy Bitcoin Cheap on: May 07, 2019, 06:55:17 PM
Bitcoin is volatile, price fluctuations are its nature. Currently it looks like the price is on the rise but don't forget that this will not last forever. Maybe now the new price downfall it's not expected but that doesn't mean that price can't change in negative way soon.
So I wouldn't say that this is the last time or last chance to buy Bitcoin relatively cheap, price will certainly have some corrections, it's just the question of time.
2273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin remain above $4000 this time around? on: May 07, 2019, 01:21:00 PM
Currently the price and the market are in green but no one can't predict how long this will last. It could happen that the growth will continue and maybe cross the "magic limit" of 6000$ or the price might pull back. At the moment, even if some corrections happen, I don't expect for price to go under 4000$but it's not excluded that this will happen again in the future.
2274  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS IT TIME TO BUY MORE BITCOIN? on: May 07, 2019, 06:27:28 AM
Currently the price is on the rise so it isn't the best moment for buying. But again it's expected for price to further grow now or someone's in the future so if you want to invest in future profit and you have extra funds, go for it and buy.
2275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hate wave? on: May 07, 2019, 05:17:10 AM
That's the indicator of bull...  Cheesy

We will see more hate waves in the following months. Hold tight!..  Grin

I wouldn't be so sure. Not every attack or bad news spread by others on Bitcoin is a sign of bull run.
It's funny how people are trying to find bull run in every single details and so far we have seen so many annoucements about bull run begininig but we are still not there. This is still only a phase of positive correction.
2276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bulls need time on: May 06, 2019, 06:42:05 PM
Yes it is true that time is always important and it will happen only it reaches it's perfect time then only the the possibility of bull Run will available but in today situation I think it will already starts so we need to wait very low time then the profit is easily available for us.

The problem is that many Bitcoin users don't have enough patience. They want everything now so they don't respect time and that is mistake. Nothing happens over night and not every price rise is bull run. But users behaviour shows that Bitcoin price has become the only thing that matters.
2277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin on its way to $20,000? on: May 06, 2019, 05:13:32 PM
Every time when the price is growing, no matter how little, people start to dream about Bitcoin reaching 20000$ again. Yes, with Bitcoin is everything possible but still I don't like such exaggerated predictions. Look at the market, make some good analysis and make your predictions in some realistic framework. We still have very long way to 10000$ and 20000$ seems like utopia at the moment.
2278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: May 06, 2019, 11:57:51 AM
Bitcoin is one of the rare investment type where there is no lower or upper investment limit. That gives investor a complete freedom to decide how much is he willing to invest. To my opinion that is one the biggest advantages.
Trading with very small amounts is good when you are learning or testing the market but if you want achieve some real results and at least some profit you have to enlarge the sum and get the real feeling of trading.
2279  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 06, 2019, 09:35:59 AM
That depends on defintion of being rich that might vary from person to person. But to my opinion rich people are only early Bitcoin adopters who kept their coins long enough.
Anyway, if you set your goal to get rich with Bitcoin this is kind of utopia from my point of view. You might get decent profit if you stay involved in Bitcoin long enough but be also prepared for occasional losses. I think that big majority who expects great deal of money ends disappointed.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our bitcoin private key will be in danger, sometime in the future on: May 06, 2019, 08:04:23 AM
It's true that security and safety is getting harder and harder to maintain and crypto users are exposed to all kind of threats all the time. Despite all the efforts about data and privacy protection.
But I think that that private keys are pretty good protected due to cryptography so I can't see any real danger.
