1321  Economy / Speculation / Re: My opinion about the price movement of BTC on: January 11, 2020, 01:13:39 PM
I think the price movement is due to 2 reasons.

1) The price has been hanging around $7000-$7500 for a while and investors see it support or a bottom.

2) We are getting close to the halving and this could start another bull run.
Halving influence things around this market, with this event, investors are aiming for good market movements and if fate allow them it will be a good
timing to buy in and wait for the next pump. Many opinions that might affect the current situations but more on halving time.
BTC is creating a good sign from the beginning of this year.

I don't think this is because of halving. Halving will probably influence the price but not yet and not in so extensive way that this might have really significant impact and not on long term. That is my opinion.
I think that price will continue to fluctuate and the values will be kept in.current range, somwhere between 7000$ and 8000$.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 11, 2020, 08:26:22 AM
The world economy is at its worst, not only America. Almost each and every growing country has been experiencing a big economic downfall. War situation make the economic conditions go even worse. The same impact will get reflected over the market, but this won't be big crash or big pumping.

It's not the worst, we've seen worse situations in the world economy but it isn't good, that is for sure.
Unft, there are always countries in the world where war is going on and therefor they can't recover their economies for decades.
If you refer to.Iran US relations I hope we are still far from war because that might have consequences for whole world.
Im situation like that, cryptocurrencies might be solution and help for individuals but they can't help whole countries.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi think that quantum computers will exist? on: January 10, 2020, 09:46:10 PM
I think Satoshi was a visionaire otherwise he wouldn't create Bitcoin but if he had idea about quantum computing it's hard to say. To me sounds more possible that Nikola Tesla had such.idea and vision, he was really ahead of his time and predicted some inovations that happened almost century after his time.
1324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: January 10, 2020, 09:10:14 PM
That's really true, whales keep manipulating the market so everything is easy to them.

Making money with just a little movement for them is possible and it's more possible because there are investors who risk investing but does not have enough knowledge on what they are doing, that's the reality for now but hopefully small investors will be educated in the future so whales power to manipulate us will decrease.

I can't beleive that everyone thinks how whales are guilty for everything and every.time when price isn't favourable whales are to blame.
I definetely wouldn't agree with that and I think it's irony that everyone claims Bitcoin is independent and on the other hand that is manipulated by individuals or groups of individuals.
1325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: January 10, 2020, 06:40:29 PM
I'm not convinced that will happen. Few days ago some thought Bitcoin might reach much more than 10000$ even this month but the price pulled back again and now it's seems that is moving back and forth.
It's much more likely that price will continue to fluctuate in current price range but it will not touch 10000$ this month.
1326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we getting a pump and dump for this month? on: January 10, 2020, 01:01:02 PM
Nothing unusual is happening, just common volatility process.
At first everyone was so thrilled about price rise expecting 10000$ or more even this week. But people always forget that price can easily pull back and that there is no guarantee for continuous growth.
Anyway, I expect for price to go back and forth in the next period of time and I don't think that we will see some major changes, probably it will stay somwhere in the range between 7000$ and 8000$.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you go to blockchain/crypto events? on: January 10, 2020, 09:21:41 AM
I would like to go to more such events but unfortunately I don't have enough opportunities and there are not many such events in my country, at least not at high quality level. It's also important who is organizing it and who are the speakers but such events, especialy if they are international, could be very useful for getting new information, learning something and making new contacts so my suggestion to everyone is to participate.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 09, 2020, 06:18:35 PM
I expect further growth and development of cryptocurrencies. Also, implementation of blockchain technologies into almost all areas, business and industries. However, despite further progress I don't think that 2020 will be revolutionary year for Bitcoin, nothing so dramatic will happen.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: What is safe asset? And If USA dollar weakining what is Next Fiat? on: January 09, 2020, 04:08:23 PM
Dollar weakining because of war seems you were really expecting war happened between Iran and US but i think if supose can it should can be avoided because i'm sure the war between them will have bad impact for world economies so let's hope this won't be happen however regarding the questions actually i was expect bitcoin can appears as dollar replacement but seems it won't be happen and maybe the best next currency after dollar is euro

Of course that war should be avoided on all means not just because of possible weakining of economies but that might be the trigger for next world war and that might be the end of the world we know it.
Dollar will not get in worse position then it is now and I don't think that any currency will replace it, especialy not cryptocurrencies. However, I think that Euro is very good, stable and reliable fiat currency, maybe even better then dollar.
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: January 08, 2020, 07:07:33 PM
At first, it is hard to manage your portfolio efficiently while having a full time job because i don't know where to focus, that is why i started to train myself to manage my time at work and in my trading. So i decided to trade for a long term that i don't need to check it daily, only for weekly or monthly for me to have a focus on my real time job.
Need to set stop limits so you can adjust assets automatically.

actually it can still run smoothly if it is always progressively monitoring the daily candle, but our main work is indeed consuming a lot of attention. I can always make time every night, but often it's still not optimal because of fatigue. maybe it's time to consider using a trading bot service.
In my opinion, it is still better to do trading manually because it will help you a lot to grow into a better trader. If you really want to make money through trading then you will always have motivation to work even you are tired from work. You should keep hustling until you get what you want. Learn to budget your time so you can still have time to rest to be productive for the next day.

indeed it is difficult to divide time in day trading when we work, in addition to not having full control in trading the focus on permanent work that he does can also be disrupted. choosing long-term trading is the only way that both can be done and can be more calm not to disturb the regular work that must be done every day

It's hard to keep the balance between full time job and trading. It's always that other one that distracts you and if you are not commited fully you will not have good results in neither of them. So if you don't have intention to quit your daily job or get fired it's better that you choose type of trading that is not so demanding on.a daily basis.
I agree that long term trading could be solution but you will also need to count on lower profit.
1331  Economy / Speculation / Re: $9k next week on: January 08, 2020, 02:27:35 PM
with the way price jumped and the way that the media is currently hyping up everything and scaring people with the drama in middle east and tries to make a link, it wouldn't be surprising if the price had much faster rise. not to mention that the market has been waiting for a very long time for this rise to start in 2020 and all the money that has been waiting to jump back in, will FOMO buy back in and price could shoot up to $13k by next week.
yeah 9k is too low a guess. i am hoping to crack 10k next week

Very optimistic. It's funny how apetites grow every time when price starts to rise. If someone asked two or three weeks ago no one wouldn't even mention 9000$ or 10000$ as a possibility. And we also need to have in mind that the price might pull back so there is no guarantee for continuous growth.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason behind creating Bitcoin. on: January 08, 2020, 10:22:34 AM
I would put my opinion on this as I understood from the Introduction in the Bitcoin Whitepaper [1]. The objective of Satoshi Nakamoto is that the need to have a cryptographic based electronic payment system instead of the trust that is usually given to the middlemen. No more third party. I don't think there's anything more to say because the objective is clear on that one.

[1] - https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

Exactly, that was the reason. I would only add that motive was probably disappointment with traditional financial and payment systems and Satoshi wanted to offer something new and different, some alternative and people recognized and accepted that. For all these reasons cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin can only grow and develope further.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Return of the bull? on: January 07, 2020, 10:08:00 PM
It was funny how it was $6000 before the new year and now it above $8000.
Some people speculate it is the call of an incoming war on the horizon. But I just cant validate this being the reason why.
It was a sudden spike in a week just about the same time this happened. So it could be a correlation but I just dont see it.

Actualy it's not funny, that is how Bitcoin is functioning. Price can change very quickly and sometimes that surprises us because we are not prepared.
However, I wouldn't draw conclusions too early about recent price pump. It's yet to see if this is just temporary price pump or some growth that will last longer period of tiime and bring us some significant positive price change.
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Think Craig Wright is Satoshi and Why That Matters on: January 07, 2020, 09:42:32 PM
Another speculation about Satoshi's identity. Of course without any solid evidence. I reallly don't understand why are people so eager to reveal identity like that would change anything for them or for Bitcoin. That really gets boring and all these theories about Satoshi that appear all the time are ridiculous.
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: January 07, 2020, 05:24:00 PM
What happened? Volatility, conditions on the market. Did you really think that the price will go only one way, up? That is not sustainable and sooner or later price must fall, the question is only how much.
When investing you always need to have volatility in your mind, counting on risk and possibility that you will suffer loss. When Bitcoin is involved don't always be too optimistic and once you see howard trend don't forget that sooner or later you will see downtrend also.
1336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin have a price increase before the halving like we saw in 2016? on: January 07, 2020, 02:32:38 PM
That is hard to tell for sure. So far Bitcoin has proved that it doesn't necessary behave according to some patterns so it's not very clever to compare with situation in 2016.
To my opinion we might see some price rise before halving but that will probably be temporary and it will not last for a longer period of time. Also I don't expect to see some huge price jump.
1337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $10k soon according to Bloomberg? on: January 06, 2020, 08:44:56 PM
I'm not sure how relevant this prefiction is. We have to many fake Bitcoin experts and fake Bitcoin news so sometimes it's better to ignore them.
10000$ isn't impossible although from current position it seems not so easy to achieve but I don't think that will happen so soon. It might happen that we will not see that price within the first three months of this year.
1338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 06, 2020, 07:10:20 PM
I don't think it was ever easy, maybe just the opportunities were better.
Making any kind of profit isn't easy and doesn't come without efforts. It's very important to set realistic goals according to your possibilities and capabilities and to have enough patience. Success and profit don't come over night.
Skilled and experienced traders stil can make very nice profit but that takes constant dedication to the market.
1339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin will move up if there is a war with Iran on: January 06, 2020, 02:52:16 PM
if a war happend in iran ; it can make much country in war too becausr iran dominaces some strategie like sea and other places.  bitcoin will effect for sure if war happend or any other crisis . bitcoin can move up but bitcoin can rise without any war for sure

Exactly, war with Iran might be trigger for world war. I hope none of these will happen
And I don't see connection between war in Iran and possible Bitcoin price rise. I don't know what kind of analisys came to that. In general people give to much influence to politics regarding cryptocurrencies than it actually has in real life.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin is not that good as currency? on: January 06, 2020, 01:17:16 PM
Maybe I wouldn't use the expression.that is not good as a currency but there are certainly some obstacles that affect its performance as currency
Some of them are volatility, limited number of coins and lack of regulation and legal background.
But Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are still developing and in the future some better solution might be found.
