1341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How difficult is it to change total bitcoin's 21 million suppply? on: January 06, 2020, 10:45:03 AM
How difficult it is?It's impossibe. Limited suppy is the way how Bitcoin is created and designed and that can't be changed. The whole Bitcoin technology and functioning is based on that and that is also the reason why we have halving and similar. You can't change just number of mined coins without intervening into whole Bitcoin system and functioning, so that is not possible.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme, then fiat is a get poor slow scheme on: January 06, 2020, 08:35:05 AM
Neither of these two it's true. You will not get rich with Bitcoin over night and fiat money will not make you poor if you don't make foolish things.
You probably don't know how to handle not Bitcoin nor fiat money so such claims don't reflect reality. But since almost children are also posting here on forum I would say this might be the case here so I will say such attitude is result of lack of life experience.
1343  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future. on: January 05, 2020, 08:26:43 PM
How much can Bitcoin cost will be determined by market, by demand and supply ratio. So, the highest level can't be predicted or determined bur we have to follow conditions in the market and mood of investors.
Currently it's not very likely that price will rise strongly and that will reach 10000$ soon but the whole year is ahead of us so we'll see what that will bring to us.
1344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 05, 2020, 05:26:00 PM
Maybe you refere on Bitcoin price on Iranian market. But US Iranian conflict, whatever form it might have, will not influence the Bitcoin price globaly and certainly it will not push it that high. Generaly I think that politics doesn't influence Bitcoin price that much as people think, Bitcoin price is still rather isolated compared to traditional financial markets.
1345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: January 05, 2020, 01:28:05 PM
I can't see any reason why would someone hate Bitcoin. I understand that people who suffered loss are angry and disappointed but for that they can't blame Bitcoin but their own decisions, maybe lack of knowledge and experience.
I think that Bitcoin gives equal chances to everyone,it's very sophisticated technology that made finances better and changed investing world as we know it. It is only up to everyone of us how we will use this opportunity or not.
1346  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: January 05, 2020, 10:35:43 AM
I really can't understand why people compare Bitcoin and gold and take them as a reference for each other.
These are completely different assets and don't have much in common except that people invest in both.
So comparing the behaviour and position in the market of these two or analysing the history of gold and Bitcoin you will achieve nothing and you will not come to any useful conclusions.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying Bitcoin in Iran? on: January 05, 2020, 08:29:46 AM
Their economy may be in shambles if they decide to go to war with the US.

It is the US that is trying to go to war with Iran. This latest even is an act of war by the US, and is not based on any proven action by Iran.

That is true but Iran might decide to strike back US and that might even mean begininig of world war.
Anyway, any war activities might effect economy in Iran but I don't think that Bitcoin could play any role in that and the state will definetely not turn to Bitcoin, maybe only some individuals.
1348  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders spend crypto when they can? on: January 04, 2020, 10:36:16 PM
What is the point of making many when you don't really enjoy the result? Saving some portion of your profit is important for everyone, reinvest it? would be better but if you don't spend your some money and enjoy it then why do you make money?

I agree, you have to spend something of your profit so that you can enjoy it and have real use of it. I think many traders are aware of it and besides reinvesting part of their profit they also spend it. Afterall what is the use of trading if not making profit that you can use in real life? Trading is not purpose for itself, that makes no sense.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price be $20000 next year? on: January 04, 2020, 09:23:55 PM
With start of every new year people start to have high hopes about Bitcoin price. Their predictions are often driven by emotions and sentiments rather then analisys and realistic situation on the market.
Also, 20000$ is often seen as some magic price level.
When it comes to Bitcoin nothing is impossibe but still I don't think Bitcoin will touch 20000$ this year.
1350  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year and forecasts on: January 04, 2020, 08:17:21 PM
In my opinion the price will reach $15000 this year

It is very possible.  Bitcoin goes up to $14k last year without any major event being announced so why would it not reach $15k due to halving.  We all know that halving often gives the market a great hype and history had shown that BTC price goes up before and after the halving event.  Investors think that due to halving of the block reward, Bitcoin became more scarce and that means more demand and less supply.  With this in mind FOMO may possibly break out pushing the price of BTC higher.

At the current moment 15000$ looks very far away although it's not impossible. The year has just begun and there is plenty of time for price to grow but I don't think that halving will be trigger for price pump. It might have positive effect but that will probably only be temprary and it will not be so significant. If price reaches 15000$ to my opinion that might happen in the second part of year.
1351  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: January 04, 2020, 04:40:22 PM
I strongly believe that the true value of cryptocurrencies is exactly their use in real life. They are not created only with the purpose to be stored in some wallet as an asset of value but to have real purpose in real life.
That is why I use cryptocurrencies for my daily needs, I spend them for daily purposes. Of course they are useful for savings too and as a long term investment that is why it's important to find the balance between spending and saving so that we can have the best of cryptocurrencies.
1352  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 04, 2020, 08:25:27 AM
I can't see the reason why Bitcoin would fail if identity of Satoshi is revealed. It's not the mistery of Satoshi that that keeps the value and popularity of Bitcoin.
Also, I don't think that is very likely for identity of Satishi to be revealed. If it hasn't been so far why would that happen now? But like I said, even if that happens it will not influence the Bitcoin.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin halving!!! Bull run??? on: January 03, 2020, 09:30:04 PM
That is pure fundamental and sentiment analysis. Many opinions in the cryptocurrency market that keep saying that the bitcoin can have a strong upward move after the halving. It is just their prediction and we should not fully rely on it. Yes the feature will be improved but we are still do not know if there will be an effect to the supply and the demand of the bitcoin in the market.

It's true, many Bitcoin users use their emotions and wishes when making analsys instead of reasonable thinking. That is why many results of such analsys are exaggerated and don't have connection with comon sense.
Also, every event connected with Bitcoin, like halving they see as magic that will push Bitcoin price to some huge price. At the end result is usualy disappointment.
1354  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 03, 2020, 02:38:32 PM
I still think that sometimes could be dangerous or at least useless to follow advice here on forum.
They come from different users, with different knowledge and experience and sometimes they don't need the smartest thing to.
To never sell Bitcoin is one of such advice because what is the purpose of jusf indefinetely holding without real use?
Also, I wouldn't expect that much of halving, I think that people dream of some exaggerated prices that don't have much to do with reality
1355  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 03, 2020, 09:06:10 AM
Banking system is changing quite a long time. It's becoming more digitized and online based, with more and more new financial products and services for clients each day.
Also, many banks are already testing blockchain technology and that will change banking even more because it will be implemented soon.
I don't think that banks are not interested in cryptocurrencies, they are just trying to find the way how to implement them and wait for them to be regulated. But don't be surprised if banks offer to their clients crypto related services.
1356  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless Economy: Is Society ready for transformation? on: January 02, 2020, 06:22:13 PM
That depends from country to country, there is no general answer and attitude.
More developed countries that are more digitized and with better digital skills of their citizens are on bigger level of readiness for cashless society and for overall technological and digital transformation. But don't forget that are still many people on this world that still don't have electricity and Internet and new technologies are science fiction for them.
1357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin stats to kickoff 2020 on: January 02, 2020, 11:57:05 AM
- Around 30,000-60,000 people with more than $1 million worth of bitcoins
Really? How do you determine this? Is it assuming one address = one person?

Another exciting stats is Bitcoin is just about 132 days away from the next halving! This year and the next should be really interesting for crypto space.

That is very interesting information for me to. I wonder where this data about Bitcoin users come from. It's well known fact that the number of Bitcoin users is very hard to determine and the number of Bitcoin addresses definetely can't be criteria. So, every data about users I found so far is based on very rough estimation and exact number can't be determined.
1358  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 01, 2020, 07:27:56 PM
Few years now but I trade occasionaly and I'm not daily trader. I think if you have moderate apetite for profit and you don't take big risks then you can do trading quite a long time. Of course that is not very serious trading it's more for fun.
But many people go into trading too ambitious, with high expectations but very often they are not well prepared and don't have enough experience so in short period of time they experience loss and very often give up. Everything depends on your approach, expectations and goals.
1359  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think? on: January 01, 2020, 01:28:37 PM
I'm not so convinced about that. Although we have the whole month ahead of us and Bitcoin price in certain conditions can change very quickly the price is at current moment far away from 10000$. For that we would need steady growth for a longer period. Maybe later in the year but for now price will stay in current range, that is my opinion.
1360  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 01, 2020, 10:43:56 AM
So, what is the point of just holding Bitcoin in your wallet and never selling it? What is then actual use of Bitcoin? I understand that you want to keep it long enough to get sone value and profit but there is no use of keeping Bitcoin indefinetely.
I'm strongly convinced that Bitcoin is made to have real use in real life not just to keep it as some kind of souvenir.
As far as halving is concerned don't expect too much in terms of huge price rise.
