1461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: December 07, 2019, 06:06:10 PM
I'm holding but not just that, I'm also spending Bitcoins. In fact I'm trying to find some balance between holding and spending because I beleive that Bitcoin isn't made only to sit idle in some wallet. No matter how much I beleive that Bitcoin is most profitable investment on long term and holding is good option, I.also think that Bitcoin should be used in real world for real purposes.
1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi steal other people's ideas for Bitcoin and one reason why he left? on: December 07, 2019, 04:58:12 PM
I see that we have another conspiracy theory that involves Satoshi. People are so eager to know everything about him or her that they are even making up all kind of stories.
We don't know true identity of Satoshi as well as we don't know all details and scenarios about Bitcoin development and guessing and making up.strange and funny stories will not help to.reveal the truth.
1463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finding the new predictor of Bitcoin Price on: December 07, 2019, 12:21:56 PM
To be honest I'm not influenced by all these Bitcoin price predictors. They are usually so called Bitcoin experts but without actual knowledge about cryptocurrencies and usually such predictions are pure guessing.
People easily fall under influence thinking that will help them with better and profitable investment but at the end they often need to face loss and disappointment.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: don't screw with the market with fake stuff anymore: im contacting attoneys now on: December 06, 2019, 09:09:47 PM
Is this serious or you just posted this to amuse us? It's really funny to what ideas some people got and how much efforts they put to convince.the others this is the right thing to do. I guess this is just another proof that human stupidity really has no limits. Good luck.
1465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: December 06, 2019, 06:18:22 PM
I'm not really convinced that you can earn cryptocurrencies while sleeping. I don't trust trading bots and don't believe that all options are covered without human touch. You need to be present in the market and be able to react quickly on changing conditions in.the market. To my experience only active, assertive trading can give full results and only that way you can have control.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin increase as in 2017? on: December 06, 2019, 02:51:09 PM
Don't expect for 2017 to repeat, it's not very likely and you might get disappointed.
That was specific year for Bitcoin with specific conditions in the market. I'm not saying that Bitcoin will not again reach price of 19000$ or more but that moment isn't now.
Some expect from halving to start another price pump but that is only speculation.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto earnings on: December 06, 2019, 12:29:42 PM
Based on our country, you cannot actually get away from taxes in cryptocurrency conversion to fiats. How? Because if you have local exchanges, then that is the place where you need to convert your cryptocurrency. In this case, what you need is to pay transaction fees with taxes from conversions. What is good about it is that, if you have huge accumulation of cryptos, instead of converting, you could transact and pay in crypto without taxes.

If we want to actually use crypto in real world for payments in most cases we need to face the problem of conversion. Thus we lose money on exchange rate, taxes, fees and etc. So far the only or maybe the cheapest solution for me is to use crypto debit card. No need to worry if crypto is accepted, no transactions fees and taxes.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have there been any money laundering schemes that used cryptocurrency? on: December 06, 2019, 08:52:21 AM
I read some news in media about cryptocurrencies being used for money laundering, even for terorrism financing. How much of that is true or proven I don't know but it puts a bad light on cryptocurrencies. However, we need to have in mind that anonimity and lack of regulation contribute to misuse of cryptocurrencies but that is not characteristic only for crypto, fiat is abused too.
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi should be in Time's influnetial person of the decade list on: December 05, 2019, 09:10:50 PM
Satoshi definetely has huge credit for inovation and promotion of cryptocurrencies but it first appeared before current decade. On the other hand, only a small percentage of people in the world is using cryptocurrencies so the question is how big his influence really is.
Last but not least we don't know the true identity of Satoshi, is this a person or group of people, he, she, or something else so from that point such reward wouldn't have sense.
1470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: December 05, 2019, 06:53:30 PM
I don't expect some big and sudden boost. We are in phase where growth, if happen, will be more moderate and graduate. Many expect for pattern of.price pump to.repeat but crypto doesn't behave according to patterns and you can't predict how and which way the price will move. But don't expect for 2017 to happen again, it's not very likely.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: How does the US and China trade war affect bitcon? How do people think ? on: December 05, 2019, 02:29:04 PM
It could affect the economy, after all it is a trade war between two countries, but I seriously doubt BTC would be affected. BTC IS decentralized, not controlled by neither countries, so even if a trade war DID happen, nothing should happen and BTC should just continue on with its everyday transactions. It could increase the buyers and sellers of BTC though, but that's pretty much about it. The economic flow of BTC through the market should still basically be the same, before, during, and after the trade war.
Bitcoin does get affected by the economical changes of the world. Either it will gain value or lose some. When the existing money system will fail in helping people, then bitcoin would be the answer. By decentralized, it means that no one can claim to control or own it. And that is true because if it was possible, then the country with such power would have been the richest and definitely super power.

I don't think that Bitcoin is higly affected by economic changes. If you take into consideration that Bitcoin is decentralized than that makes sense. However, people beleive that Bitcoin is much more under influence of economy and politics that in fact really is and to my opinion US-China trade war doesn't affect Bitcoin significantly in term of price or demand.
1472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If she becomes a US senator next week, will Bitcoin thrive even more? on: December 04, 2019, 08:53:31 PM
Surely she would be a proponent and advocator for the recognition of Bitcoin in the Senate however she must have a full support and backing of other senators before any tangible decision, hearing and deliberations about the adoption of Bitcoin can be heard, however her possible entrance into the Senate is a welcome development and as a Bitcoin enthusiast definitely Bitcoin is going to gain more recognition.

Yes, she is a Bitcoin enthusiast but how much could she actually do. Without support of broader politics and powerful people outside Bitcoin community there are not much possibilities. However, with hard efforts she might achieve some progress in Bitcoin recgonition.
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can one have any expertise in Speculating? on: December 04, 2019, 04:14:48 PM
Some brief thoughts on this subject:

I noticed that speculators often do a lot of speculating. With that said, is it possible to focus on speculating only, reading nothing else but all the speculating topics and then somehow becoming better at speculating than others?

in my observation, natural born speculators have an intuitive sense about market psychology and sentiment. they are generally contrarians---they must be, since the crowd is usually wrong. i definitely improved as a trader when i learned to play against my own fearful/greedy tendencies, and against the prevailing market sentiment. (ie "buy when there is blood in the streets)

in that sense, you could certainly use other peoples' speculations to your advantage, by observing sentiment and playing the contrarian when bullish/bearish sentiment becomes extreme.

Well, natural born speculators are very rare and they don't have any learned skills about speculation, it's kind of sixth sense. So, we can't speak of any kind of expertise and I don't think that speculation can be learned. Using other peoples' speculation might turn good but still you can't know how good speculator is.
1474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are the world’s governments not using cryptocurrencies? on: December 04, 2019, 08:49:24 AM
We can't trust the government 100% on this and i am sure there are some people in the government that are already making use of a privacy coins to make anonymous transactions. Some bank workers are already transacting with bitcoin. Some in the government knows about crypto and shows interest but what is keeping them back is FUD and threats.

This is not entierly true. First of all you don't make difference between individuals and government as an institution. What private persons do, even if they are politicians, is one thing and official policy is another.
Governments are testing cryptocurrencies and they are not strictly against it but they need a legal and regulatory framework how to implement it into system. Would you like that economy of your country depends on something volatile like cryptocurrencies are and without any legal framework that would define what is legal or not and without any protection? I don't think so.
Using cryptocurrencies as an individual for private purpose is one thing and using it to run economy and society in some state is totaly another.
1475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading platform on: December 03, 2019, 07:27:59 PM
I have to say that from the start you have completely wrong attitude. You think that trading platforme is the cause of your losses and not yourself or better to say your trading methods and possible lack of knowledge and experience.
There is no magic trading platform that will recover your loss, that can only be you so try to figure out what were your mistakes and accept that this time maybe you will not be able to recover your loss.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $ 19k again before 2022? (poll inside) on: December 03, 2019, 05:12:08 PM
When it comes to Bitcoin 2022 is a distant future. You definetely know how fast and how many times situation can change on a Bitcoin market and it's really hard to predict what will happen with price.
I know that 19000$ many see as a magic number they would like to see again and it's possible for price to reach that value but then fall back again as well.
1477  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: December 03, 2019, 01:05:22 PM
In some countries that are already highw developed blockchain might represent additional trigger for further boost and growth of economy. Also, for some less developed economies that might be new opportunity if they will know how to use it.
However, knowledge and awarness about blockchain are still rather low and like with all new emerging things there is also some resistance present. And some people still think that blockchain is related only to cryptocurrencies, which is not true, so they don't understand the full  potential.
1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: At What Price would you stop investing more money into Bitcoin ??? on: December 02, 2019, 07:41:33 PM
I think there are different types of investors who would buy Bitcoin at different price. There will always be enthusiasts who will think that no matter how low price it is, there is always opportunity for profit because price should go up sooner or later.
But everyone has its own limits and sometimes pressure is too hard. I never really thought about my limits but I guess that might be 200$.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries testing digital assets in 2020 on: December 02, 2019, 05:59:58 PM
This is actually nothing new. Countries, especialy their central banks and other financial institutions are experimenting with cryptocurrencies for a while. They are also preparing a packages of regulation and that all together should prepare them to formaly introduce cryptocurrencies into system. The way how is this going to happen is still not known but many countries have decided not to ignore cryptocurrencies anymore.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: December 02, 2019, 02:41:00 PM
I know there are some disappointed users who thought that Bitcoin will give them opportunity to get rich over night in a easy way. Reality is not that simple and maybe only early adopters who kept their Bitcoins long enough we can call rich people. But they are only few and there is no need for dreaming of.impossibe.
Bitcoin still gives opportunities for decent profit as long as you have realistc goals and know how to trade and invest smart.
