2261  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: December 23, 2016, 03:07:18 PM
join some signature campaign , but 0.1 per week is hard i think

I think that's impossible nowadays, but a friend of mine was earning 0.1 per week a bit more than a year ago in a signature campaign on this forum (the price of 1 BTC was much lower than though). Right now 0.05 per week is a max I think, and even that you can have only if you are a Hero member or higher.
2262  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-23] Bitcoin Price Analysis - Lift off on: December 23, 2016, 02:57:10 PM
Nobody can predict the fluctuation of the price, but I am very surprised that the price has moved from 800USD to 900USD in a little span time. Like the article mention is very risky to trade at this time because the price can also move down.

The best strategy for myself was always keep and hold my bitcoin.

That is a good strategy. However you will never make money if you are not risking, and the more you risk the more you can earn. I'm not encouraging anyone to risk a lot to have big profits though. Risk only the amount you can afford to lose. But in times like this you can definitely earn more with trading than in times of stability. You should just do it carefully and responsibly.

They predict in the article that the price might drop to $820-$830 for a short period of time. That would be a great time to buy IMO.
2263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zcash soon 0.2 btc! on: December 23, 2016, 02:43:40 PM
0.2TBC must be a joke, the price can only come down, it is just a simple law of economics demand and supply. January a can see the price at 0.02BTC range

That is a more realistic prediction in my opinion. ZEC is at 0.0585 now and still dropping, 16% drop in one day. I think nothing can save the coin, even bots buying very small fractions of the coin at 0.066. Nobody will fall for that, people are smart nowadays.

Zcah worth 10$! Maybe 15-20$! All over 20$ isover priced!
Newcoins with same stuff offering coming that are under 1$! So why yse zcash for 20$ if you can use coin for 1-2$ fir anonimum transfer! 😜👍🏼

If that is the case, you should short the coins and make over 40$ each when it does drop to $10 or even lower.

I do not think the ZCash price will go that low.

Each time it drops, even when there are pumps, it keeps going lower every time. It's already at an all time low at 43$. At 35$, I'll stop mining it, if not before, and so will other "normal" people (by that I mean home miners who have like 2-3 rigs tops). Maybe if people stop mining it, the number of newly generated coins will drop, creating a void in supply and price will rise again, but I don't think that'll happen.

I don't think it works like that. As far as I know the less people are mining the lower the difficulty becomes so basically the number of newly generated coins is not dropping when fewer people are mining. If I'm missing something here it would be great if someone would explain it better to me.

It might be good to mine the ZCash now, the difficulty is quite low.

Yes, but have you calculated how profitable the mining would be taking into account the price of ZEC now? Another important thing is that ZEC might drop even more in the future and what would you do then with all of your mined coins? I think low difficalty is not the reason to start mining a coin, it is the potencial of the coin what is more important.
2264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: December 23, 2016, 02:29:37 PM
Missed happy hour again. I wish I could find where they said they would announce all their happy hours on their twitter and Facebook pages...

Oh yeah....

blog.primedice.com

That's where it was at. Hmm. Now only if they would actually do wha they say they would do. Seriously, how hard is it to announce happy hour? Is it that tough, Stunna/Edward?

I think the beauty of the Happy Hour is that it is happening unexpectedly. You think you'll have 150 sats from the fuacet and BOOM! you've got 10k. To me it never happened even once that I saw an anouncement about a HH and then immediately used the information, but I was getting 10k couple of times unexpectedely and thet was great.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: December 23, 2016, 02:13:24 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?

I would definitely not use the winnings to gamble more because I know I would lose all in the long run. So I think if I win big I would withdraw all my winnings except for a very small part which I would leave in my balance to tip some good people in the chat and to gamble a bit, to try my luck once again.
2266  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Happy mining on: December 22, 2016, 12:11:47 PM
It's Not a Difficult Activity It's an Easy Activity All Can Do This

Of course, everyone can mine but not all can earn a profit out of it. For example, you consider all the costs of your capital from the mining rigs to the power costs. If your country has a huge power cost then you can't earn a profit from it knowing that mining rigs consumes huge power and if you can't earn any profit you can't get your capital back and you won't make any money. That's why everyone everyone has the option to mine but not all can mine but cloud mining is another thing though.

I hope you don't mean that cloud mining is a better thing than just mining. Theoretically it can be a better thing and I also was reading with big interest all those investment plans on cloudmining sites but in practice those are only words. Cloud mining services are what people should avoid, for now at least, because most if not all of them are using a Ponzi scheme in their structure.

This guy called the latest price with 100% accuracy.I now follow him for the best trading ideas and its free or can donate by the looks of it.

This guy has made a pretty good prediction couple of days ago but what about now? I was unable to find anything he says about the nearest future exept that "it will be a bumpy ride". Is he predicting that Bitcoin will drop a bit and then will rise again or what?

Btw looking through all the replies in this topic we can say with certainty that the price of Bitcoin does matter.
2268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: December 22, 2016, 11:14:34 AM
The secret of healthy gambling is to do it responsibly and in an intelligent manner. There are a whole lot of strategies that players use to make gambling profitable. In this article, we will give an insight on how to make gambling profitable...

http://www.newsbtc.com/2016/06/14/turn-gambling-profitable-activity/

I'm not going even start reading. "How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity" sounds like "How to turn War into Peace" to me. Gambling can't be profitable, period. There are hundreds of posts confirming that on this forum. If you have the worst enemy, convince him gambling can be profitable and he's done.

It can be profitable but not in a gambling way but using gambling as in investment way. There are a lot of gambling sites that are looking for investors even those sites who are already running for years. And can make gambling into a profitable activity but just simply being an investor of them and deposit your bitcoins to their bankroll.

That's a nice strategy. In fact the only gambling strategy which can make you profit in the long run. Of course it's not exactly a "gambling" strategy but rather investment strategy with which I agree. As long as gamblers are losing their money to gambling sites probably it's a wise decision to invest some coins in their bankroll. I'd avoid newly crerated sites though. They might disappear in a month from the opening with all investments.
2269  Bitcoin / Press / Re: []2016-12-21]2016 China Bitcoin Ransomware Report 4.97 million PCs infected on: December 22, 2016, 10:47:38 AM
Qihu 360, the leading IT company in China, releases an annual report on the development of ransomware in China and predicts 10 times growth of potential victims or 50 million in 2017.

http://news.8btc.com/chinese-bitcoin-ransomware-report-11-9-victim-pay-to-recover-their-files

First I thought no wonder Qihu 360 are trying to scare people so they start using their antivirus products. But on the other hand maybe they are right in a way. There are more and more ransomware has been developed lately and who knows, maybe the number of potential victims will really reach 50 million in 2017.
2270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the location affect when we gamble? on: December 22, 2016, 10:12:23 AM
I still wondered after watching one dice gambling tips on youtube. she suggested to use a vpn American countries. Do you think the state and affect our current location to gamble? , please give your opinion

As far as I know this is the other way round. If you are from a country where online gambling is forbidden, like Americe for example, you use VPN to have the possibility to access the gambling sites. That's it. Your location in no way can affect the rolls you are getting while gambling.
2271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash is closer and closer to 20$! on: December 22, 2016, 09:50:56 AM
Wasn't Zcash 700$+ just a month back , that's how shit coins evolve and doom eventually. I see it going beyond 0.001BTC. It was not worth buying then and even now.
I dont know how it was able to raise its value t 700$+.

yeah and a lot more then 700$..now 38$ today after some pump Wink
But why people are still buying it? I think most of the buys these days are made by bots to keep it from falling lower. Only 6 weeks ago ZEC was 1.8 BTC. Poor guys who were investing in the coin back then.
Bot? tell me the proof. All of them are not a bot, but the people still exploit the zcash today, assuming if A was buying it at the 0.035 and he was getting some zcash and try for putting the sale was at 0.037 and the others was doing same with it. It's bot in your speculation, dude.
They just try for use the volatility residual of zec.

Okay, right now I checked the Trade History on yobit and I agree with you, they are not bots, because the smallest amount bought lately is 0.00204211 ZEC at 0.0495 and this means that they paid exactly 10k sats for that which is the smallest amount you can buy with on yobit. But I'm sure I've seen they were buying much smaller amounts days before and only bots can do that.
2272  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-20] More Chinese Bitcoin Miners Arrested for Electricity Theft... on: December 21, 2016, 03:13:59 PM
These chinese miners are getting out of hand! Now I think we should think twice before trusting a chinese miner offer his services. We might even get caught up with the problem and get imputed as one of their partners or accomplices. Not to mention, losing our investments with these guys. This might bring down the number of miners in china. China might create some laws that would restrict or even ban bitcoin mining in the country.

I hope that won't happen. The guys in question were arrested for theft not for mining Bitcoin. And those other 74 arrests earlier in 2016 were also related to electricity theft.

I think Bitcoin mining in China is such a huge business that some of the top politicians are already involed and having profits from it. So those politicians will do everything they can to prevent the prohibition of Bitcoin mining.
Can your provide source of this information? I never heard of any Chinese politician taking part in mining bitcoin openly.
I am not saying that it is not happening, but there is no info I could find about this.

Unfortunately I can't provide you a source because they are not doing this openly, but I'm sure that top politicians are involved in anything which brings big profits and Bitcoion mining is one of those things. If they were not involved they would ban Bitcoin mining in their country already because governments always ban things they have no profit from.
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 50 Dollars a Day! on: December 21, 2016, 12:59:59 PM
Hello,
If you wanted to make 50 Dollars a day what betting strategy would you take?

I propose you to change the way of thinking about gambling. Gambling is not something you can have a regular income with. You may gamble for your entertainment if you want but you should never see it as a way to earn money. Even $50 per month is hardly possible to achieve, let alone $50 per day.

http://news.8btc.com/chinese-bitcoin-ransomware-report-11-9-victim-pay-to-recover-their-files

In the article they are saying that criminals who have committed frauds with value of more than 500,000 RMB (which is $71,500) will get lifetime imprisonment. I'm wondering if hackers robbed 100 victims for $800 will they get lifetime imprisonment? If the answers is yes, and most likely it is, the hackers should think twice whether it worth the risk. What a life! First you are robbing innocent people and then you spend the rest of your days in prison.
2276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Managedgambling.com - We help you to make good profits from gambling on: December 21, 2016, 11:15:59 AM
Guys, I don't get it. If you are saying "Once a reasonable profit is made, you have to pay our share and withdraw your balance" why don't you play by yourself and have all the profit not just a share? Also you say on your site that the minimum investment is 0.1 Bitcoin which is a big money and and I can't see why would people invest such amount on an unknown site.

2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: December 21, 2016, 10:15:06 AM
Go guys!
In many cultures and countries is gambling consider as a bad thing which only the poorest and silliest ones do. Many gamblers try to hide that they gamble from their friends and families and feel really shameful for that. Do you consisted gambling as a bad thing? Do you feel shameful or proud for being a gambler? If it is shame what you feel what do you about it? How do you hide you're a gambler and who do you hide it from?
Let others know!

If you can't think about anything else but gambling the whole day and if coming home the first thing you do is turning on the computer to gamble as soon as possible and if after you start you can't stop until your whole balance is lost, then yes gambling is a very bad thing for you. But if you just like to relax gambling for an hour or two and you can stop any time and you don't lose big money with it then there's nothing wrong with that IMO.
2279  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-12-18]Bitcoin worth has exceeded $ 800 on the exchanges in China on: December 20, 2016, 03:35:49 PM
For me, and I am sure for other people as well, it doesn't have much value when Chinese exchanges go through certain price levels in advance of the western exchanges. It will be taken seriously as soon as Bitstamp, Kraken, BTC-E, Bitfinex, etc, reach such levels. China is now around $10 ahead of the western exchanges, which means that if they go up another $10-$15 in the coming days, that we'll see exchanges globally sit at the $800 levels. If it will happen, then it happens somewhere next week, if not, then we'll most likely head down a bit, or remain around current levels till the end of this year.

But how is it possible? Aren't western people also participating on those Chinese exchanges? And if not what is preventing them from joining? Or maybe the $10 difference doesn't give you a possibility to make money on that. But still I can't understand why is there a difference.
2280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Attraction on: December 20, 2016, 02:55:46 PM
I had knowledge about e-currency since a few years ago i guess due to movies or news.
So, one day some weeks ago i was looking for a way of making money online (but a way that won't care about who you really are, what country you live in, politics) whithout worrying about too much for payments methods, i mean make transfers as easy as just by giving my bank account (in this case one of my wallet's address) and receive funds Smiley

So for me it is the decentralization + earning money + no restriction

I'm new to this maybe i'm wrong

I'm new to this too but I don't think you are wrong. I was also looking for a way to make money online, not big money but at least an amount you can't call insignificant compared to your wages. And only Bitcoin gave me that opportunity and I'm grateful to Bitcoin for that.
