1261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: September 26, 2017, 04:47:41 PM
Hey! guys i need your opinion and help because i didn't know about this trading thing i only know about how you can earn bitcoin by gambling but still my friend told me that gambling is not the way to earn bitcoin but if you try trading you will earn much profit why is that so guys? trading is better than bitcoin? how? why? where to find that trading thing?
Gambling is more risky than trading because if you gamble you don't know if you win or not but gambling will give you the money in an easy way unlike in trading you should wait until the coin you are selling has a high price.
Don't you know the same coin or commodity can also decrease in value and that wil amount to a loss same way as in gambling? So take note that trading isn't all about waiting for the price of your selling commodity to go up but the opposite can ensue.
The price of crypto coins do not remain same and indeed there is always a dump phase. During the downfall, traders know that the value gain will take place and they buy more coins, which they sell out in pumping phase. Trading at least gives assurance of earning but gambling does not.

It depends on the game you gamble, you cannot be gambling big on dice which is purely luck game and expect a clear cut plan to profit in future. It's just random. But you can gamble on sports and make s good return if you're disciplined because it's not just luck but a skill based game.

I'm not sure about whether sports betting should be considered as a skill based game because to win big you have to bet on a team which normally plays badly and this team should win the game. Isn't that based on luck? Trading is another thing. You can buy a coin about which many people say it will rise in the nearest future and yet, if it rises indeed, even though many people new that, you can still make a good profit.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: September 26, 2017, 02:50:36 PM
Which altcoin will have the maximum price increase
(X20 x100 x1000) by the end of 2017?

Other coins will be added on request in the subject line.

I think Ethereum may rise two times by the end of the year, but not X20 or X100. My vote went to IOTA (MIOTA). I don't know whether it will happen this year, but this coin will rise X100 in my opinion.

Also I think that NEO should be added to the list. This coin, "china's Ethereum" as they call it, is on the rise now and it can cost 4 times more by the end of the year.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does BTC control a lot of the other altcoins on: September 25, 2017, 11:03:02 AM
Not all altcoins rise or drop together with Bitcoin, but most of them do, that's right. I think the reason for that is not that bitcoin "controls" other cryptos but rather that they are traded for BTC on most exchanges and if a coin costs 0.003 BTC for example and the price of 1 BTC in USD rises or falls the price of the coin in question rises or falls subsequently. But, as I said, not all altcoins behave like that. Some of them are heavily pumped in a particular period of time and some of them are really promising and that's why more people want to buy them and their price rises.

I don't know for what reasons you want to invest in NEM, but I would recommend you to research IOTA (MIOTA), because my sister, who knows abouts altcoins much more than I do, says that this coin has a really great potential in the years to come.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker on: September 25, 2017, 10:22:07 AM
I enjoy playing poker online, but I've had a hard time finding a place to play. many sites require you to download and install software. I don't necessarily mind doing that, but having a mac limits my options somewhat; it's far more convenient to play through a browser. that being said, nitrogensports.eu seemed like the perfect fit. I like the look and functionality of their poker client, which is all browser based. their hourly freerolls always attracted 50-70 entrants, with as many as 600 for special weekly events. nitro does well to respect players' anonymity, but that also provided for a great deal of collusion, which ultimately lead to the discontinuation of the hourly freerolls.

now that the hourly freerolls are gone, so are most of the players, which is arguably the most important aspect of a poker site. for the past few weeks, I've been playing at BTCkings.com, a relatively new poker site that exclusively deals in bitcoin. the only thing they lack is a solid player base. there are a handful of regulars who can be found playing there, as well as a few bots, but unless more people come, I can't imagine it will be around much longer.

I really hope more of you start playing there. it's a simple site that is easy to join and seems to be run by honest people. besides the small player base, I only have one little gripe, and it's purely superficial: the poker software, which is conveniently browser based, looks like a time capsule from 1997. I don't know why.. it just feels kind of dated. but I like that it's simple, and it seems to function just fine.. so if you can see past that, I'm sure you'll find it to be a fantastic option for online poker.

what's your experience playing online? and is there any place you can recommend?

thanks!

Hi, stevrev! I play on btckings too. I was even advertising the site wearing there signature for some time. What I can say is that the owners are honest people and that more than 10 people withdrew there winnings from there successfully, some of which won hundreds of USD in couple of weeks. I think the only thing this site lacks is a good advertising, because if more people knew it's legit they would play there for sure. So, if you ask me, I would recommend to play on btckings, because unlike other similar sites, which I tried too, btckings allows you to withdraw without any problems, which was confirmed by several other users in there official thread.
1265  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 22, 2017, 09:34:35 AM
they believe bitcoin price will go more than 10,000$ so that they save it

So you mean that bitcoin price wont go that high? I am the witness of this coin, from $100 and now it is $3k per coin. Do you still doubt this coin? With big of adoption this price will increasing fast enough and no one can predict it. And nowadays I jusr found out that most of my friend just started it. So it will never be too late to save this

I haven't really seen it with my own eyes and even witnessed it before, but i have high hopes and expectations that it will rise that high in the future. Maybe some are really doubtful just because they jsut getting started or they haven't seen it before or maybe afraid that it was another schemes from past that they were being victimized.

Bitcoin indeed may look to some like a pyramid scheme, they even say it in the media. In a way any business is like a pyramid scheme in the sense that if people will stop using it it will die. But in fact there's a big difference: any pyramid scheme is supported solely by the money of the people involved, nothing else supports it and when people start to leave the pyramid falls down. With bitcoin, like with other good enterprises, when some people start to leave the others, who remain, will start having more profit.

1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh Shit! - China bans Bitcoin yet again. This time for real. on: September 20, 2017, 04:49:47 PM
Sorry, you should not "burn" people to sell their bitcoin just because the news ; China banned bitcoin for real. I don't think it will give us a good effect, because without china bitcoin still run. CMIIW.

I think it was an ironic statement. You can tell from the avatar of RawDog that he rarely speaks seriously. But this time he even put "How many times are stupid people going to care and fall for the same story? " to make it more obvious.

I'm sure many wise people took advantage of the situation and bought more BTC for themselves below $3,500. And I pity people who fell for the story and sold their coins at low price.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Vs. Ethereum on: September 19, 2017, 02:07:51 PM
Does any one thinks that Ethereum can survive with the rising of Waves? I've heard that "Waves will be the next Ethereum"

I wouldn't say so, Ethereum is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies, comparing to Waves it is more stable, ETH has more peculiar features and, as far as I know smart contracts aren't implemented into Waves. On the other hand, Waves price in June 2016 was $ 0.7 per unit, and now it is about $4 per unit, and this increment sounds quite promising, but I would still settle for BTC, LTC and ETC.
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to do when price keep dropping ? on: September 17, 2017, 06:35:22 PM
What to do when price keep dropping ?
Depends on cryptocurrency. If you are talking about bitcoin - I wouldn't suggest to sell it in the nearest future, because obviously it will rise again, so you'd rather buy it, when the price keeps dropping, instead of selling. In case of altcoins, which seem reliable, like LTC, ETH, XMR - you can sell some part of it, like half or more - then if the price still keeps dropping you at least saved some part of it, if it drops and then rises - you even made a profit. But as for new and too promising altcoins I'd say you better sell all of them, because it's 99% scam.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WTF - CloakCoin +60% on that red sea..... on: September 15, 2017, 06:18:28 PM

Can somebody explain this situation with Cloak why is up when everything else is sinking? Huh

Such things happen regularly with coins with small marketcap because the price can be easily manipulated. Probably the devs and investors decided that many people will react like you did and will buy the "rising" coin. And I don't think this "rising" will last long, though they still can make some money on the manipulation.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: September 15, 2017, 05:51:14 PM
its hard to earn $40 everyday.

It's hard to earn $40 everyday if you don't have day job, if you don't work hard and if you don't do something for your living.

Get bitcoin every day via online market .There are Money source of earn bitcoin everyday. you can make bitcoin via freebitco.in

Freebitco.in offers faucet but it's not enough to earn too much everyday but it's good if you'll have this source everyday.

Yes, it's good, I use the faucet too, but the the amount you can get from there is really small. Yes, if you are very lucky you can win $200 in the free roll on Freebitco.in, but normally you just get the minimum amount, which is $0.002 every hour. Even if you make 20 rolls per day that will be around $0.04 or $0.1 max if you were lucky enough to win $0.02 couple of times. You said yourself that it's not enough but I want emphasize that the amount is really negligible.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 15, 2017, 05:19:50 PM
strategic people are wise/smart people, there are lots of kinds of intelligence that make a man smart. But if you compare people who live by the book or should i say those people who typically good in class but sucks in real life against those people who are smart enough to outsmart people in real situation, i choose those strategic ones than those who attain their knowledge solely in school.

As a person who studies a lot and reads a lot of books, I disagree with you. Those street-smart people can succeed in the beginning, like ones who are bluffing a lot in poker for example, but like in a big poker tournament they rarely make it to the final round. Eventually the one who really knows how to play wins.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 15, 2017, 04:18:03 PM
I think,  the best strategy for win is a little goal. My experience often was, that I won a little and then lost. So I stop now at little gains and take the little profit.
why not if you can earn profit in this way then do it never try to earn so much in just one day because you will lose after some time make few % daily and slowly double your bankroll with a more safer way if you are gambling always do it with less profit the higher you aim the more you lose
i don't think it still could be a working strategy , no matter how much you set a winning target.

sooner or later with its -EV your winning will get back to zero and even more losses to come. gambling are not game of money only , but it is game of time where usually you given the winning at first to lure you make more money deposited and it is work everytime to fool you.

Don't you think that on provably fair sites that solely depends on luck? No one is making that you win a bit at first to make you deposit more money. I understand your logic. This is how the cheating casinos were acting back in the old days. But now, if you play on provably fair gambling sites, there is no such thing there.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCKINGS - bitcoin only poker site on: September 15, 2017, 03:56:45 PM
I would like to thank BTCKINGS for the great time I had promoting this awesome poker site.

From now on I'm working for another campaign, but I will be visiting the site regularly because I think there is no better place to learn how to play poker.

Yours sincerely,

just_Alice

Actually there are hundreds or even thousands better places for you to learn how to play poker, you are just pretend to be a blind man about it. Or maybe you were just too lazy to find free poker sites.
Anyway, how much you have earn while promoting btckings? Was that paid signature campaign or you wore it as you like to get referrals? If it was your own choice (non-paid signature), how many referrals you got and you how much you have earned from the referrals?

Actually I was paid good by BTCKings for wearing their signature but I'm not going to disclose the amount to you. No, it wasn't for referrals. Smiley

You know, you may have your own preferences on where to learn how to play poker, but if others don't agree with you that doesn't mean they are blind.

Good luck!

1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on Freebitco.in and Bitsler on: September 13, 2017, 06:27:14 PM
Thank you all for the advises.

You seem like a polite person and as I can see from your other posts you are not afraid to admit your mistakes and to share your bitter experience with others so they won't make same mistakes. I hope you will never download again a "winning bot" and you will never be playing on freebitco.in or bitsler or any other gambling site in order to win money. Gambling is not the place where you can earn money, use it for entertainment purposes only.
1276  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 13, 2017, 06:07:09 PM
If a person is smart he would also be strategic. Both characrerisitic is needed in order to become successful. Because it's not really enough to become smart. It would need implementation that requires strategy.

I'd like to add that smart people know very well how any strategy can fail at some point. That's why they don't rely on any particular strategy but rather invent new ones almost every time depending on the situation. If someone thinks he has a good strategy which will work in any case I don't think this person is smart. No one can always know how to act in this or that situation beforehand.

I agree, making big bets in order to win big is very risky. I'd recommend making smaller bets with very low win chance, like 1% or even 0.01%. Thus, if you don't make a lot of bets of course, you will not lose much and you'll have a chance to get that great feeling when you win with very low win chance. This is basically my dice game strategy: making 20-30 small bets with very low win chance and then quit if I didn't win.
