2281  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 17, 2023, 10:39:00 AM
For playing the WOF spins you get for holding FUN tokens (premium membership), you don't need to check your email at all.
You will see a message saying "You have X free WOF spins. Play them here." on the website

It is clear to me that I have to buy tokens for Premium membership, I was just wondering how I get WOF as a Premium user - thanks for the clarification.

If you are willing to become a premium user I suggest you to start with the 12,500 FUN package, because it's the most cost efficient one.

Yes, 12500 FUN tokens seems to be the sweet spot as you get a nice amount of WOF spins (I think it is 6 in the beginning) and you get a cashback when placing bets. The most interesting feature is probably the increased interest as that can really add up quickly.

I played a bit with the "Amount of FUN held" option and 12500 tokens doesn't seem like a bad option, although the starting number of WOF per day is 5 and not 6. Somewhere I saw a topic in which a member calculated how much he needed to return his investment (found it here), maybe even in Micro earnings, I have to search. What I am also interested in is what happens after 1 year of Premium membership, is it automatically extended without additional payment/purchase of extra tokens or? Also, can tokens be bought directly from the balance or only with a deposit?

~snip~
And when Bitcoin price goes up, WOF rewards goes down, as it's connected with BTC price. So, with collected WOF spins now you can win less BTC/RP/tickets than month ago.

It's gambling in a way, because even though it's true that with a change in the price of BTC, the rewards also decrease, there is still a chance that the price will drop again - and the golden ticket as well as the golden watch and similar rewards are always constant. Maybe some just want to try their luck over a long period of time, not all at once.

I can't say that what you claim is not true, but I have read that sentence too many times and convinced myself otherwise. In case you give a vouch copy for MB, I am ready to try it and write my feedback in this thread.

You can send me a private message in that case, but don't send me the license that way.

Traditional finance is a much larger casino than the cryptospace so uncle Warren does not have the right to criticize us.

He or anyone else has the right to criticize anything and anyone if we live in a democratic society where every individual has the right to express his opinion. What's wrong is that after 10 years of his criticism of Bitcoin, you or anyone else still finds such news worthy of attention.

Don't listen to the OP, he's completely lost in his fantasy that the whole world revolves around the FED - not to mention that this is just another thread where he repeats his ideas over and over in the hope that he'll be right one day.

Just look at his post history -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=972626;sa=showPosts

Thread was reported due to repetitive content and senselessness of the same.
2285  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ✔️ Selling antivirus Accounts and Keys (malwarebytes-avast-nod32-kaspersky..) on: April 16, 2023, 03:11:24 PM
I don't know if anything has changed about Malwarebytes, but I gave up buying keys this way at one point, because none of them lasted more than a week. In addition, some members were permanently banned, and the sale of MB licenses was mentioned as one of the possible reasons.
2286  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc accelerator sites on: April 16, 2023, 03:01:27 PM
Given how easy it is to enable RBF on a transaction, there really shouldn't ever be a reason to require a transaction accelerator anymore.
~snip~

There are still a lot of people who have heard about some magical transaction accelerators where you can speed up your transaction even if you have paid a minimal fee, and they are not too interested in the RBF option which actually does what they didn't even want at the beginning, pay $0.50 or even a little more for their transaction.

Which coin is Nano?
Because of low transaction fee, someone should hold altcoin instead?

It was one of the few projects in which I participated by solving captchas and thus "mining" Nano coins, which were not even called that at the time (RaiBlocks). Although many things later went wrong when it came to that project, the fact is that the coin cannot succeed even when it has 0% fee and instant confirmation.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About football betting on: April 16, 2023, 02:35:21 PM
I am not a football fan and any form of prediction is still a gamble to me, but I have gamble on few different online casinos and I believe that gamblers on casinos gambles with the casino games, meaning it's between the gambler and the casino, but with football it is different, your bet is on the performance of a soccer team and the gambling platform will only win your money if your football team loses, right?

It is logical that you cannot compare sports betting with any game in a casino, so even though they have something in common, they are two different games. Although some will say that there is a method of "prediction" in some games such as blackjack or poker because some players know how to "count cards", it is mostly a combination of luck and patience in the game where the player tries to outsmart the game and the house.

Sports betting has a completely different component in the sense that it is possible to analyze each individual event in great detail, and thus filter and find those that have the highest chances in our favor. Of course, everything depends on how skilled someone is in gathering information and how many resources they have to minimize the risk as much as possible. Sports such as football, basketball or handball have three possible outcomes (1x2), while for example tennis has only (1 or 2), which means that in the first case there are three possible outcomes, and in the second only two.

If you play type 1, in the first case you have a 33% chance of winning, while the bookmaker has 66%, and in the second case the chances are 50-50. In the event that you combine several events, your chances drop drastically, while the bookmaker's chances increase significantly, so I would conclude that in that case we can already talk about classic gambling.

Freebitco.in has been doing this for years, I don't even remember when they first started but they do have one raffle each year at least (??)

A few days ago, the lucky winner was drawn in round 8, and each round lasts 180 days, which means that the first Lambo was awarded 4 years ago. Although it should be noted that Lambo is only option 1, while each winner can also choose a cash prize of $200 000, which will of course be paid in Bitcoin.

The deposit address is Legacy address - P2PKH, which means that you will pay a lot of fees as mining fees.

I think this is the smallest problem that the OP has, considering all the other "doubts" that have already been raised in this thread. The fact that the OP obviously does not understand the difference between Legacy and SegWit, given that he uses the former, perhaps speaks volumes about the technical savvy and seriousness of the project.

It is more than obvious that recently there has been a real mix fever in which everyone wants their piece of the cake - and that means that we cannot expect everyone to be professional in what they do.
2290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Progression in price on: April 16, 2023, 11:19:31 AM
Adam Back said and i qoute him: in Q1 2023 bitcoin price increased from 31 dec 2022 - 31 mar 2023 by ~70% (~$16.6k->$28k). interesting to note if that rate continues bitcoin would be:  jun $48k,  sep $82k, dec $140k. or for $100k by 31st dec, price growth would need to fall from 70% to 53% for Q2,3,4.

I don't know who's the bigger fool in that story - the one who thinks Bitcoin will continue to grow 70% every few months (in the year prior to the halving), or the ones who "qoute" it as if it's worth mentioning at all. People who live in senseless illusions deserve to stay there, and when they are already there, I suggest that if they want to quote someone named Adam, let it be Black Adam😈

I agreed with the price progression but it may not hit those percentage, what determinant factor do we hold on? that the big cities like U.S, China and Nigeria kicking against it can freely allow surviving of the price to hits such imaginable price of $100k by DEC. Least am expecting by DEC is probably 70k bull.

These are not cities but countries, and regardless of the fact that you obviously don't pay attention in geography lessons, what does China or Nigeria have to do with the price of Bitcoin?

I've had posts of my own in my own thread talking about the topic of the thread deleted by Troll DT1 Trolls who are admins or mods.
~snip~

Do you claim that one of the 2 admins that exist on this forum deletes your posts for some reason without any valid reason? It seems to me that they are dealing with much more important work than stooping to such a low level, which would include some kind of personal revenge in the form of deleting posts.

In addition, in almost 10 years of your presence on the forum, you have only had 33 deleted posts, so I don't know where you see that someone is against you in the sense of how you imagine it. It must be extremely difficult to live in the belief that only you are unique, and all others are alt accounts of some other alt accounts...
2292  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 16, 2023, 10:21:35 AM
Yep, 7k is a huge number of golden tickets for most of us, but it also means that the winner only had a 0.37% chance of winning the Lambo in round 8. So he really got lucky.
As for that user with the 100k golden tickets, I remember him winning daily leaderboards very often, and it looks like he wagered over 520 BTC in six months to get 100k+ golden tickets. Unfortunately for him, that number of tickets turned out to be useless as the coveted Lambo eventually "drove past him."

He is a serious player, and if he continues like this, he has a great chance to win the Lambo in one of the next rounds. I am personally thinking of becoming a Premium user and taking advantage of everything that this possibility offers - and as for WOF specifically, are the spins also received by e-mail or are they available on the website? I ask this because I saw that some members accumulate them, and somehow it does not seem to me that it would be practical through links that would come via e-mail.
2293  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: April 15, 2023, 04:07:14 PM
Is this just the usual news recycling or have I missed something in the meantime? The last time I read about "recovered assets" it was about $10 billion and it was the beginning of January of this year...

What's happening with FTX ever since it declared bankruptcy is all muddled up. Everything looks shady to me. Not only do the authorities seem lenient on Sam Bankman-Fried, there is also an apparent attempt to salvage whatever is left with the exchange. It seems there is an effort to revive it and not so that its users will be made whole again but so that those powerful personalities will recover the large amounts they have lost when the bankruptcy happened.

Considering who Bankman is, and how many companies are connected to FTX, it is in the interest of many to save what can be saved, without the main actors ending up in prison. All these stories about lost/found billions of $ seem really unbelievable, because it seems like it's about children's toys or something similar, and not about serious money and everyone who is harmed because of the dirty games of Bankman and his greedy company.

7000 tickets is a ton, thats not a cheap entry as such but his luck is still quite immense.  This isnt even one half of one percent chances to win, dude just did very well for themselves.

When we look at the top 10 list, then those with 10k+ tickets can feel really unhappy, and what about the one who had 100k+ golden tickets Roll Eyes 7000 is not a small number, but in the end you need to have a bit of luck, no matter what your chances are.

Congratulations to the lucky winner🎊🎉🍾
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Croatian League - Hrvatska nogometna liga 2022./2023. on: April 15, 2023, 03:23:29 PM
I think that after a long time, Dinamo has a chance to become a quality-led club, without problems from the past.
Simic managed to get into the Dinamo board and bring Biscan as the coach of the first team. The fans have a great influence on the club's policy, and a new club statute is being prepared, which will give them the opportunity to finally enter the club's Assembly.

There is always hope for a new beginning, and although it seems to some that it is different now than before, I think that the possibility of some new "crisis situations" should not be dismissed yet. I think that there are still some people that the club should get rid of as soon as possible, especially those who still maintain ties with the old boss - so although some will say that it is a finished story, for some Dinamo is still an ATM that they want to continue using.

The team is preparing for the next season, and it seems to me that the worst crisis in the club passed after the victory against Lokomotiv, when the players showed character and responded very well to the pressure.

So who will Dinamo beat if not its younger brother, because it's no secret how deep the ties between these two clubs are. In the betting world, that would be called a safe bet Smiley

2297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is racist on: April 15, 2023, 11:04:43 AM
Fortunately, it's not the SEC official position, this is a letter addressed to the chair of the SEC by the Investor Advisory Committee.
~snip~

I was immediately relieved, because I thought that everyone who has anything to do with Bitcoin will be given another label - and we are already running out of space for all the labels that have already been applied to us.

I can still somewhat understand that they accuse us of destroying the environment, that the world will remain in the dark because Bitcoin will consume all the electricity, up to the point that we finance terrorism and launder hundreds of billions of dollars through Bitcoin - but to bring Bitcoin in any way in connection with racism is one of the biggest nonsense. Those geniuses definitely deserved the Nobel Prize for stupidity...
2298  Other / Meta / Re: why bitcointalk don't advertise anywhere. on: April 15, 2023, 10:32:49 AM
But I have never seen bitcointalk advertisment anywhere but yet there is traffic.

Have you ever seen that another forum advertises on football matches? Not only does it make no sense, but such advertising is quite expensive if we are talking about top football leagues such as the English Premier League or the German Bundesliga. However, if you have money and want to buy advertising in a special place, no one will forbid you to promote bitcointalk, not even on the jersey of your favorite football team Wink

And don't we think there will be shortage of users here as time passes?

This will most likely happen in the future, given that forums are not something that attracts new generations. In fact, the number of active users and posts has generally decreased in the last 5+ years, some will say because the merit system was implemented, and some will say that it may be for some other reason. However, I think that for anyone who searches the internet for information about Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general, the search can very easily lead to this forum.
2299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I become productive in this forum? on: April 15, 2023, 10:03:07 AM
but i also hope that he doesn't turn into a robot here..
like i see many users have, with almost same pattern of posts..

I too would like to see as few as possible who behave like bots, and as many as possible who think for themselves and make even a minimal contribution to the forum. You noticed that pattern well, there are too many low-quality forum members who get the opportunity to participate in signature campaigns, and I have no doubt that there are a lot of them who use several alts, so it is not surprising that their posts are monotonous and follow the same pattern.

I will be very honest, I see a similar thread every day here on the same board. Why not try and search for it instead of creating a new thread?
Even If you are not good enough with basic forum functionality or didn't know "search" exists, you should try a new technology in the market called ChatGPT.
~snip~

I hope that your advice will not turn the OP into a robot who will create even more low-quality content and wonder why he is not progressing on the forum. Any use of such technology in a way that serves for communication on the forum is equal to plagiarism in my opinion.

Of course, your advice does not go in that direction, but pointing out that such a tool exists is dangerous in itself. I hope that as many people as possible will understand the negative consequences of using such tools.
2300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking the biggest limit since match price push on: April 14, 2023, 03:29:23 PM
Is there any correlation between CPI and Bitcoin? Or only because influence the FED decisions?

People all over the world look at the FED and the CPI as some kind of sacred cows by which the whole world is aligned - and if Powell just says something negative in the context of cryptocurrencies or even hints at what the FED will do, people buy or sell Bitcoin accordingly. We defend the fact that Bitcoin is decentralized, but we cannot in any way refute the fact that most of those who invest in Bitcoin are completely centralized idiots who try to outwit the market by listening to what the leaders of that market say.
