I have more then 120 $ in several alt`s, I don`t invest much, I started to invest and hold some altcoins few months ago, and I buy some alt`s every week, nothing much when i see price is red I`m buying 3-10 mbtc, depends how much I have in that moment. I don`t plan to stop with this kind of investing in alts, when ever I have some bitcoins I will buy some alt`s.

Many people have different experience on guessing the price of bitcoin, but everyone knows that after Japan makes bitcoin is a legalized currency in their country then the price of bitcoin increasing, no one knows where it will stops.
Yes, the Japanese government accepts bitcoin, which is why the bitcoin is rising rapidly, however, the bitcoin value is always moderately controlled, in other words, virtual currency. Never change the value of cash, it is always dominated by governments. Well yest after this decision bitcoin price is on boom and it has crossed 1800 +. lets us wait first now if this will cross 2000$ or some dip will take place before it rises further. On the other hand awaiting news from India if they decide to ban or make it legal let us check out. And not just Japan, Australia is also making some new regulations regarding bitcoin, they will not be double taxed like it was case until now. They lost a lot of money cause some companies left Australia, and now they are doing this and promising huge investments in technology sector. All that is good and this rise is phenomenal, but I'm not sure that we can hold this high price, this is the effect from the good news in some point people will start to sell coins and we will see price going down. |

Not fair but I think it is reasonable. If you want a faster transaction, you shell out additional fees and lower fees for not so fast confirmations. I think it is not automatically setup but you have to select it manually in your wallet.I hope network improves so that it is convenient t0 send and receive transaction just like before.
the fee is already cheaper than any money transfer service, people who say it's unfair, better get off sending the money by themselves because they always consider the fee even a cent as unfair yes sir! i spent a lot of money on money transfer fees, and the fee they charge on bitcoin is very reasonable compared to money transfer services, bitcoin transaction is faster and cheaper!  Fair has many different meanings, compared with fiat money transfers and fees like western union have ( I used them few times in the past ) bitcoin fees are fair and reasonable. Who doesn`t wish to wait pays a bit more and he have faster transaction, for all the people who don`t like fees can use some wallets without any fee, but don`t complain on a little waiting sometimes. |

1200 - 1500 USD is very likely. This rise is unsustainable, we are days away from a big dump I think. Take the opportunity to load up if/when it happens.
I also think that this rise can`t last for long and eventually we will see a price going down. I`m reading comments and many people are surprised with this new records that bitcoin price is making, my prediction is based a bit on history and a bit on current situation, current news about Japan is driving price up and in one moment that will stop and price will drop and settle around 1500 $, more on less. and this is short time prediction for next month or two, what will happen until the end of the year is almost impossible to predict. |

We are close now to $2,000 and I believe that we are going to reach that point before the end of the year. But I doubt that it is going to happen for this year. Well see, because the movement of bitcoin's price is very fast and most of us here didn't expect this early that the price of bitcoin is going to reach at $1,700.
That is more reasonable prediction then 3000$ by the end of this year, that is too much. Price is going up for some time, this is already surprise for many people, and I`m not the only one that thinks that we will see some drop in near future or correction, call it as you like. At the moment bitcoin is better for daily trading I think, and for holding some other altcoins. That is cause of the price, just look at the charts people who know to follow pumps&dumps can earn a lot from that, on other side we have cheap alts that can have some promising future. One more thing we need to hold some decent amount of bitcoin to have have high profit, and decent amount of bitcoins at the moment is very expensive to buy, who can afford that now.

Cause of the cases in past people are afraid to keep money in online exchange sites. I keep my alts on poloniex and for me they are much reliable then yobit, that is not just my opinion you can see in forum that more people have trust in poloniex then in yobit, that's why I'm not using yobit anymore. Bottom line is that you choose how much will you trust in some online exchange site, nobody can guarantee you that everything will be perfect all the time.

0.5 bitcoin is not so big amount, therefore you can risk it easily. I will tell you what I'm doing with bitcoins, first is gambling, secondary is buying altcoins. Both are risky, gambling have well know risks, buying altcoins can also turn in catastrophe, so it's better to try both way and you will see what is going better for you, if you are lucky you will harvest profit from both gambling and trading.

I think BTC is better than Gold. BTC can raise up to 10k Dollar Gold not.
BTC is undoubtedly better than bitcoin not only because of prices but many other factors. One of the prominent of those is the real use of btc vs gold other than speculative activities. Bitcoin can be readily use as currency but use of gold is limited to jeweleries and coins and these form cannot be realised at real value of gold. BTC we can use it whenever we want, and we want money we can sell it and get money. And we have options to pay our bills directly through Bitcoin. And the main thing is the price of BTC is high, and there is no comparison to Gold. Holding money in the bank and holding gold both are same no more profit but a safe investment. You two are talking about advantages that bitcoin have over the gold, and question is about is there more gold holders or bitcoin holders? Gold is much older, and in some counties gold is a cultural thing, its probably more gold holders in the world at the moment but situation is changing, many crypto currencies are at rise. Fact is that in last 9 years people earn more on crypto then on gold and precious metals. |

The reason Why I keep coming back is that I'm looking still for fun and amusement. Because it is already gives you happiness whether you don't care if your not winning in the games but sometimes you win which is for it is still nothing but can be a bonus or reward to your play in the gambling.

Only safe investment is investing in casino bankroll, on that nobody complained so far. All other options are very risky, loans here and on some sites can always go wrong, I don't wish to mention cloud mining services majority lost money in that.
Looks like the ones who kept coins safe for all this time they took most of the profit, and that is best investment in bitcoins directly, services are mostly scams of simply they didn't make profit and they crash sooner or later.

Uh you have wallet's for more altcoins, but I don't use wallet for every coin. Like some other people I also hold some of my alts on poloniex and I think they have good protection. My amount there is a little more then 100 dollars, that isn't much, but I don't know would I keep there 4000 dollars. So if you are buying ltc, ETH, dash, lisk or some other big coin you can make wallet's for them, other coins keep on poloniex and problem solved. Good luck!

Bitcoin investment is really one of the risky investments out there because you don't know where it will go, that is why trading is the best for it. I don’t know why people are so obsessed to try to squeeze every cent out of the market at the 1500 almost everyone must be on the green zone and being able to get some profits, if you feel like selling then do it bitcoin is not going to be 10000 overnight you can always buy again when you feel more comfortable with your prediction. They are obsessed cause they don't wish to sell on 1500 and to see 1700 in couple days, and that is not couple cents, if you have more then couple bitcoins that can already be 1000 dollars lost just for hurrying. I am not that sure why people that gamble online have their payment method set up with PayPal or the other mainstream payment companies when they often shut down accounts and not return the money that the person made. Since Bitcoin is against that type of stuff it would be better for them to just make money by using btc to earn money and be able to hold onto it when they requested a withdrawal from the gambling website.
If Bitcoin is around in the near future then more people will be using it to gamble.
For me the rising of online gambling casino is catering the high demand of people using bitcoins. I don't even believe in that non sense that bitcoin is dead ? It has been a few years they said that ! But it didn't came true because there is no big reason that bitcoin can be possibly dead even it is not accepted by the government, bitcoin cannot be dead.
Bitcoin is still very young and is still growing and it keeps getting stronger everyday. It is impossible that it will die at this point of time but it can be possible 50 years from now when there are new kinds of alternative currency that is much better compared to bitcoin. But right now let us enjoy bitcoin ans also enjoy the profit that we can make from it. That is reasonable thinking, bitcoin is young and its far from any kind of death. This is an odl topic, back in the days this threads could create some fear among forum members and maybe even start some panic selling situation. This has been here for a long time and people have been recommending so much here. I would say that the best way is to get a real life job. It doesn't have to be in an office or wherever, you can still get a job online if you want too. Just get a job where there is an employer that will pay you for your work and don't rely on investments if you want it to be a steady income
yeah this has always been the most given option to have steady income and it definitely it is. there will be a consistent amount you'll receive every pay out and all you need to do is finish the task given to you. no need to shell out any capital and all that. This is also real life, if you can do something from your computer and without leaving home that is perfect way of earning, and perfect working surrounding in my opinion. Now programmers earn good money, and some of that have option to work from home. I think someone who started with bitcoins earlier and bought when price was very low, back then and now he could invested good amount of bitcoins into something and to just take cream from the top, that is steady and high monthly income without any actual working, is there anything better then that? |
