2301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: November 12, 2021, 07:26:31 PM
I don't think there's anything to worry about here, except if Chelsea really want to win the group then the next two matches should to win. But if Chelsea have decided it's okay to be runner-up, then I think a draw in the next two matches will not be a problem and not only that, even though it only gets one draw and one loss the fact it will still make Chelsea in same position. So yes, this match if they have to win basically only one it is about prestige, but if they leave that factor aside because they are also still focused in their respective leagues in the EPL and Serie A, then I think this match will just go on as usual without the tension is so high.
It really does matter for teams to finish at the top because you may actually get a subpar team if you finish at second, and sometimes you may end up against a team like Chelsea as well if they finish second, so all in all first place is a very doubtful position that may or may not provide you with easier opponent.

However, second place guarantees that you are going to face a first team and that is not going to be easy for sure 100%, not saying first position will face easy opponent and it is not guaranteed but second position will definitely face a difficult opponent. This is why most teams try to finish first as much as possible since it guarantees at least a chance of an easier next stage.
2302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I not lose money in trading cryptocurrency? on: November 12, 2021, 06:49:06 PM
You just have to understand the market, you need to be able to study and know when it’s a right time for you to invest and withdraw your crypto currency. And also remember only invest money you know you can make back even if you lose the money.
I am glad that you are already aware the potential of investment over trading. I think the next step that you must need to learn right away should be the potential of bitcoin investment. Usually the first step for most people is, they need to learn about the merits and demerits of trading and investment but it seems that you already got some knowledge about investments hence the next step for you should be learning about the potential of bitcoin investments.

This way you can get into bitcoin investment with long term plans which will definitely get you struggle-less easy profit over the time. Like you have mentioned that trading is always involving lots of struggles which could be eliminated when you are opting for bitcoin investments.
2303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance and Coinbase on: November 11, 2021, 06:22:20 PM
In search of reviews about two popular exchanges(Binance and Coinbase), I came to this site. The site does not look like any kind of scam, but I have never seen similar websites. What do you think this site is and why was it created?
https://binance-vs-coinbase.com/
I have used both of them before and I can clearly say that Binance is wildly better. You may write as many posts about your website as you want, and we will talk about it here as well to help you out, but there is really nothing to compare, there is no need for a website like that at all in this world. Binance is clearly better, by a big margin as well.

And to think that coinbase is so legit that it is literally sold on stock market, you could literally own a small part of coinbase if you want to. That should tell you how great Binance is, if a place is sold on stock market and the other one is still better than that one must be really good. Binance is really that much better.
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH choo choo time ? on: November 11, 2021, 03:30:20 PM
Other traders were saying that the market now were too good that almost the top 10 crypto in the market were all in bullish trend and somehow as a trader it mean that we must be careful because if there's no price correction takes place after it then we will might going to see a massive price drop again, it is still expected that the correction may takes place which we don't know when but I am also waiting for a price correction of bitcoin. I am expecting that there might be a little price correction coming after hitting $68K which is another record for the ATH of bitcoin.
That's the risky part that we should be looking out for, but if nobody buys at peak prices then we won't have new peak prices neither. I mean we should be happy with going up, but we should also be thankful for people who buy at these prices as well because they are the ones who are taking it that far.

I personally would buy if at the start of the month it is still high, I put aside a small percent of my money into crypto every single time I get my paycheck, maybe not this month since it has been a little hard for the past few months but I will be doing it again during spring when all of my debt is gone and I am doing well again. I hope that people would realize that you should buy bitcoin no matter what the price is because the future price will always be higher eventually.
2305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: November 10, 2021, 06:58:04 PM
I start trading and learn from a friend of mine paying nothing but just a snack and coffee. I spend less and that seems not a big deal but we talk about paying dollars for mentoring and still, it guarantees nothing, I don't think that is fair. That is a big question mark and that is why I shouldn't have to spend much to learn since we can get those things freely on the internet.
And I see you were right, that means that trading is too difficult to make money unless if you are a pro-trader because if that is wrong, why he should spend time teaching instead of focusing on his trade.
That was your friend, you paid only snack and coffee and he didn't really look for making a profit from you. That is very different from someone selling $999 course deal on udemy or whatever. Those are the people who are not looking like a decent trader to me. Of course, I had people who shared their insight in the crypto trading world with me, those people didn't look for any money at all and they were people I know that made profit from trading.

I have been chatting with them for nearly 5 years now, and I have seen them buy stuff and they told me they are buying it the moment they did, and months later they told me they were getting out when it was like 8x higher. So, I have seen them get richer, and that is why I trust them and they never asked for any money from me at all. Those type of people are understandable, but the ones that ask you to pay money? I do not know how much I can trust them.
2306  Economy / Economics / Re: What books do you recommend for economics? on: November 10, 2021, 05:22:39 PM
I just want to ask you all what books do you read for economics?
I for one doesn't invest in books or read books physically because it's so quite expensive these days either in local bookstore or buy the books online. I usually search and read it in google or watch it in Youtube because it's usually free and no charge. It's the advantage of the internet nowadays so why not take advantage of it.  Cheesy

But if you're looking for some physical books for you to read about economics, I can recommend some that I found on the internet if you need. Happy to help!

https://www.investopedia.com/best-economics-books-5186983
That kind of makes sense. Most major publishers turned to ebooks as well. That way they have literally zero cost, they just email you a PDF and you read that, which means there is pure profits for them and less price for you, since they do not have a cost, they also sell it for cheaper and you can buy it and start reading quicker.

However some people still prefer reading the book itself, I guess it is something that people got used to, a kindle would do exactly the same job and it is the same book so I have no idea why they are not getting one kindle and then save 50%+ on each book, but I guess it is just getting used to something and having trouble switching to the new tech.

But I get you, I do the same, I do not even buy ebooks, I just read stuff online, all the things I want to learn is already out there and that means I could find it for free and a lot more compact than a whole book.
2307  Economy / Economics / Re: There are many online jobs out there. Crypto Opportunity. on: November 10, 2021, 10:46:05 AM
There's always a job for people who wants to work! With some skills, it's easier to find a better paying job, but even without skills people can decide to start from zero, of course, they should be ready to work for some minimal paycheck or even for nothing, but they will learn something that will allow them to earn more in the future!
I don't wish to generalize, but I have friends that have some barriers in their minds... they wish for a high paycheck, they don't have a lot to offer, they are not ready to start at some lower levels and fight their way to up! They are proud, without money and work, their dignity doesn't allow them to accept reality! Maybe the worst part is their way of thinking, they think they "deserved" some good job, and there's no need for them to learn more! They are stuck in life, and sadly I believe that will not change, the situation for them will just get worse with time!
There isn't a job for everyone who wants to work, there is free jobs for everyone who wants to work that's the difference. If you do not have skills yet, no experience, no CV that you could show, no previous work that could boost it, nothing that you made yourself just to show, then how are you going to get something even if you are willing to work? So, what do you do?

You work hard for yourself first, you make zero dollars, then you find jobs that pay zero dollars but you could put on your portfolio, then you get good at it and eventually you start to find jobs that actually worth something.

I have been in crypto freelance world for 5 years now and I can tell you that it is not simple to get in. Sure after you get in and you are doing a good job, it becomes easier to find more jobs, I have a stable job so I do not look for it but I have been asked maybe 10+ times so far to do my job for other people as well but declined because I am so busy, imagine being so busy that you reject job offers, that's how you become in the end.
2308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: November 10, 2021, 08:03:15 AM
Imagine, if you open short position on futures trading right now, it means that you can get 50% profit it price falls on 30K USD and in this case, the money that puts you into risk of liquidation is 120 000 USD, i.e. if bitcoin reachs 120K, you'll get liquidated but if you think that bitcoin won't go further and it's late to buy, then you can get decent profit on your capital.
It is NEVER too late, you are always on time and it will always be on time as long as you do it. People imagine that if they buy bitcoin now or tomorrow or a month from now or a year from now will be too late but the reality is that it is something that keeps going up at all times so you are never too late. Sure you may not make the profit that some other people made back in the day but that is still fine you will be making some profit.

Plus, there are some small cap ones that comes out around when you join, there is always a few and if you pick the right ones then you could make a profit from it as well. People should not be worried on what they have, but should be worried about what they could have because future is still bright.
2309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: November 10, 2021, 07:12:39 AM
It is better to learn directly from an experienced person. It will take less time.
Having a mentor for guiding you in trading if not that easier one because people who are experts in trading must be having lots of scheduled works rather than guiding you for free of cost or even for a fee. I agree if you are having a mentor then it will save a lot of your time but definitely it will cost a lot at the same time which is the reason why most people are not going for it.
I believe there is also a question mark about how mentors could be making money by trading anyway, so why would they charge someone for teaching them something?

I understand that they are spending their time and that is why they are charging money for mentoring but if they are so good at trading shouldn't they use that time to trade instead of teaching me? Would be a great way to make a profit if they are so good at it enough to be a mentor. This dilemma means that you either have no mentors because they are all trading, or you have mentors that you do not trust the abilities, and that is why it becomes a challenge to find a mentor that you actually trust.

I personally do not use any mentors at all, I try to do as great as I possibly can without the help of anyone else, sure I read and watch but not because I think they are mentors but because I know what I am looking for and what I want to learn.
2310  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH choo choo time ? on: November 10, 2021, 06:52:47 AM
BTC Next low should be 50k area I think and to get these higher price objectives it should occur before we break out.    The best price accumulation comes in a regular form of a high and a low and right now I think we're still too extended some to say it can safely rise like this.   BTC isnt totally predictable but ebb and flow of waves back and forth is fairly reliable and recognizable as people naturally buy then sell after profits, any fallback we've seen so far is not enough when viewed over a year.
BTC just getting a new high now, see if it can avoid retracing below something reasonable like 65 or 64k in which case it should run.   A failed break up and a drop back below those points I will start to wonder on the more bearish take to our movements.
If a "fall" happens to 50k, then it would be amazing. If we can fall from 64k to slightly under 30k and then move to around 68k levels, then imagine how higher we would go if the price goes down to 50k. That would mean that we could potentially move to a lot higher levels, like 100k could actually happen this time around.

People are afraid of the price falling down but the reality is that if the price falls down that usually means that it is getting ready for another attack. It will not go down forever, it will go down for a while but then it will skyrocket higher and that is where we are at right now. That is why I am quite happy with what we have, but would be even happier if it went down to 50k and didn't fall any further down.
2311  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deron Williams to fight in an undercard on Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul fight. on: November 09, 2021, 10:00:52 PM
Even if they are not fighting for sure both of them are well trained since we know Deron is former NBA player and for sure he used to trained everyday since that is what his routine even since before and Paul is already trained fighter so its expected for them to have this training but this will matter only on how they discipline their selves. Also I think age will play a huge role here knowing William is already at his 30's.
Training for basketball and training for boxing are very very different two things. Plus even if you "train" boxing while being a basketball player, that is mostly for conditioning, since boxing is a very very tiresome sport and after just few rounds most people have huge fatigue that they can't handle, it is clear that most of the time people end up with tired arms and can't continue and it is a great conditioning training. So not like they are training to be great boxers, they are training to get their arms trained with boxing so that while shooting in a game, they won't be as tired.

Now using that training boxing won't be enough, they would need to get a lot better and a lot quicker. They won't do that, they will train a bit but not really take it seriously, just for a few weeks and that’s it, then they are back to their lives. This is simply exhibition for making some cash and nothing else.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 09, 2021, 09:32:34 PM
When you look at the game critically, you will still see that Bayern deserves to win that match, despite Freiburg playing their best and their form being superb this season.
The game looked difficult for Bayern at first, but because they have so much quality in their team, and because they are not tensed when pressure comes,it made them to be able to come out with a win.
When one team has 29 shots and 11 on goal, while the other has 13 and 3 on goal, even 2-1 result is funny. I would have expected Bayern to beat Freiburg with a lot bigger difference but they were unlucky with some of their shots. They have 64% possession as well, mainly dominating the game in all parts.

However, sometimes you could do your very best and still lose, like have 60%+ possession and 20+ shots and the other side has only 1 shot on goal and they win 1-0, we have seen that type of game all the time and it is a very common thing. I am not saying that it is the only way to go, of course there are so many other methods but we are still talking about something that is very uniquely shaped in some cases, this was "almost" like that.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 09, 2021, 09:11:37 PM
Napoli are really looking good, they are playing some exhilarating stuff and when needed are grinding out results. Their team spirit is equally high and with a good guide they should become a very stable force not only in Italy. Millan on the other hand are looking like they want to learn from their capitulation of last season. Verona were just dangerous in the opening stages of the matches and Napoli should be feeling lucky that Verona did not end their unbeaten run the way West Ham have ended Liverpool's. Napoli have only played 2 of the big 6 so far, they're yet to play Milan, Inter, Lazio, Atalanta. While Milan have played all the big 6 except Napoli and are still unbeaten and are on the same points. Napoli do not seem to last long in the first position.
That grinding out results part is the most important thing. I feel like when 11 players all get together and play their very best then there aren't that many teams that could stop them, sure the bottom table teams are not like that but most big teams are like that.

So, when you have a manager that really puts all the team into a shape and makes them play with 100% every single minute, you are going to get great results. Even teams like PSG sometimes just "have fun" or do not play with 100%, imagine players like messi, neymar, mbappe playing with their hearts out every single game, they would get tired easily but the results would be very different. So, Napoli is not the best roster in the league right now, but they are the most hard working talented team in the league and that is how they get their success as well, that is just what I believe root of their success comes from.
2314  Other / Archival / Re: The beginning of the end of traditional payment processors? on: November 09, 2021, 06:09:32 PM
If Bitcoin continues to rise, there's a high probability payment processors will adopt it for their own benefit. After all, everyone wants a pie of the pie. I don't think payment processors will go anywhere since Fiat is too big to fail. Crypto may be faster and cheaper to use at times, but it's widely unstable in price. This makes Fiat a true winner for day-to-day payments.

We're going to have to see whenever El Salvador's decision to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, will force payment processors to close up shop. I highly doubt that'll happen because of the reasons described before. It seems to me that crypto and payment processors will co-exist for generations. Just my thoughts Grin
That's what people do not understand. People think that payment processors, banks and other places like stock market companies and such are "afraid" of bitcoin or crypto because it may takeover. What they do not realize is that if there is a dime to make from it then these places will jump on it. Binance and Coinbase are making so much money from it, it is only matter of time for Banks to get involved.

Your bank allowing you to buy/sell and hold bitcoin is not too far away, that will happen eventually and during that period you will realize how fragile crypto regulations are and how quickly it can change. Since, these places love to bribe politicians and politicians love to get bribes, they will just pay them to make a law like that and allow banks to do something similar. If exchanges are allowed, banks getting into it should not be too difficult to allow neither.
2315  Economy / Economics / Re: The Largest Crypto Exchanger in Thailand has been acquired by Commercial Bank on: November 09, 2021, 03:38:42 PM
OP's concern is about security of the exchange and I am also confident a bank level management can easily run a crypto exchange more smoother. When a bank is entering into a all new business definitely they might have done all the required field work about what to do and how to do. So, how they are going to run a crypto exchange definitely is an unnecessary question from an enduser side.

I am also expecting any announcement from Thailand government about legalizing bitcoin as a legal tender which might help triggering very strong bull run in this crypto space for sure. Anyone could enlighten me on such possibilities?
Maybe it is not a bad idea, because when an exchange is adopted by a bank that means the exchange will be linked to the bank and users who are making use of the bank will be able to find it easier to trade on that exchange and withdraw their money straight to the bank without having much delay on it.

But, people who prefer decentralized exchanges and maintaining their privacy are not going to like such an exchange, because since it has been acquired by a bank the exchange will now start becoming centralized if it is not, and they will start requiring information about users when they’re registering on their platforms. And there wouldn’t be anything like peer to peer or decentralization on the exchange. So, it is up to the users whether it is going to suit their needs or not.
2316  Economy / Speculation / Re: New All Time High Baby! - $66,974.77 on: November 09, 2021, 05:31:30 AM
Presently the price is approaching the last ATH at $66974 as it is now any moment from now the price will break the resistance at ATH thus the possibility of price hitting another ATH before the end of this month is very feasible going by the high volatility and momentum of the price. however reaching $100K before the end of this year is unsure probably after a new ATH there might be a correction based on the slang 'price history repeat itself' thus I agreed with you that price might hit $100K next year  provided that there is no negative fundamental news that might hinder the present bullish trend.
I have to say the approach has stopped and that type of stuff usually scares me. Not that I would sell or anything but I usually expect it to do a lot better in the long run and that is why I do not believe in short term moves making people react because it is just short term thing.

However I have to say the price skyrocketing high and then stopping just before breaking ATH proves that there is still a psychological warfare in the crypto world and that should matter a lot, I can't really emphasize on how much of a problem that is, but it is still a problem and we should be dealing with it in some sort of way. I do not know how long we could wait for it to break before our psychology breaks but if we can wait long enough then maybe we could win and get a new ATH.

^^I get that it may not look like it is much, but the reality is that we are talking about chasing what someone else put in front of you. How much fun could you really have when there is another person that manages what you are doing?

I am not saying that it is a bad idea, but it certainly is not the way I like to play. I could play slots, I like them let's not say I love them but I like them, I love poker and sportsbook and dice those are the three that I keep gambling all the time and I won't chase what some other person challenged me to do no matter what. Only one would be just "gamble more" ones like wagering requirement, that could be decent but that's about it.
2318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 07, 2021, 09:15:11 PM
I do not know why people keep on cashing the challenges, and I never understood it until I asked someone who did something like that. To me it is still not a good enough reason, but I guess there are some people who like to have some "aim" or goal that they could play for, that way they are not just gambling for nothing, but they are aiming at doing something and that makes the game more entertaining even if you do not win.

I do not know how well that resonates with me, I want to gamble the way I want and not with some aim that another person put for me. I get the goal reaching or achievement or whatever feeling but when some other person decides that for me, then I do not feel like it is really right for me.
2319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Key words (short sentence) to explain BTC on: November 06, 2021, 05:05:14 PM
If I am to explain Bitcoin to anyone, I’m just going to say that Bitcoin is a decentralized and peer to peer method of transaction.

And of course, it is volatile and you can decide to choose whether you would like to invest your money in it and hold it as an asset. But, the most important thing is to let them know that it is a currency that can be used for transaction.

When Bitcoin came out, we all know that the main purpose that it was created was just transaction, but for the fact that people realized that it is volatile and can then increase in value to make them profit, that made them decide that it would be good for investment and they started investing heavily on it which for sure it is a good investment. so it can be a lot of things.
2320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: November 05, 2021, 06:30:39 PM
Some of the lowest fees in the industry include the following: TRON, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Bitcoin
When you are considering about the lowest transaction fees, you must consider about the stability of the coins as well so that we can hold them even we are NOT transacting on daily basis. Because, there will be no point of transacting with a coin which is fluctuating ups and downs as such high volatile nature might be ending up losing money in the end when we are targeting about saving in transaction fees.

I am not seeing EOS or BCH this way a good option as these coins may get dumped at any time. Litecoins and Tron could be better choice if you target lowest transaction fees.

ANOTHER SUGGESTIONS: XRP, SOL, DOGE, IOTA, XLM, MATIC, BNB, BSW
Most of the coins in this list are completely new to me and I am not sure about their volatile nature hence I like to go with above list of coins always.
