1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Bitcoin on: October 26, 2022, 08:48:19 AM
Today, bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can be converted into other forms of money and deposited into user's accounts in an instant. Most crypto can be transacted anonymously, generally safe to use and difficult for malicious hackers to break.
This is the primary goal of Bitcoin. It was created to provide another source of wealth for its users, which is why it is anonymous; with the help of blockchain technology, all Bitcoin transactions are transparent and fast, which is why you can convert your Bitcoin to FIAT whenever you want and it is very fast; and it has brought a solution to keeping your money with third-party like banks, as you are now your own bank.
Interestingly, that wasn't the reason why bitcoin was created. The idea of bitcoin was to have a currency that would be decentralized and could be used in a way that it’s both unbreakable (nobody could hack into it directly) and would be something that would not be like worlds fiat where it’s totally up to governments on how much valuable it is.

With bitcoin, you would earn and spend a currency just like you would do with fiat, but this time around it’s up to people that use it to make changes on it. This is why it took so much to go to segwit, and this is why it is taking so long to build lightning network as well, because we all have to go there. It's democratic money, and that’s the purpose.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV the end. on: October 25, 2022, 08:58:51 PM
Craig Wright’s BSV chain has been captured by a single miner

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/news/craig-wrights-bitcoin-cash-hardfork-under-scrutiny-why-a-ban-is-imminent/ar-AA133UWh

One miner on the Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (CRYPTO: BSV) network is in total control of the hard fork, mining empty transaction blocks to capture over 80% of the BSV hashrate.
BSV price doesn't need to move, it has already crashed so hard in the rankings so far, this was a top 10 coin at one time for some weird reason (never should have been) and right now it's nowhere to be found in the top 50 even, and that is proof enough that it's a shit project. If you could end up preventing anyone from buying it, you would do that no matter what.

There are some "crypto hedge fund" type of places that accept fiat payments, in return of doing crypto investments on behalf of people in my nation, and they literally did a whole press release about how they are never touching BCH and BSV even on early days, even though people wanted them to do it. It's that obvious to all people who know about them.
1303  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: October 25, 2022, 04:30:33 PM
Currently, the fierce competition in the business world is also what makes small businesses prone to failure. because of the many competitors in the business, forcing business people to always be able to innovate and adapt quickly. and business people who adapt slowly, they are usually the first to fail. so to be able to survive in business today, of course what is needed is to continue to innovate, adapt to the environment, be it market trends or the like. skill and careful planning are also definitely a must-have. and many other factors.
When there is a business owner with 1 million  dollars, and one that has 100k dollars, you know which one will win that competition. Startups are growing only thanks to big bank money to help them out, and that is how the ones that stand end up achieving something. You think facebook would have been what it is today without getting some rich people to invest into it first? Of course not, we all know that it would have been gone already, but that doesn't change the fact that it grew out of that.

So any business that starts small, without huge investors, would be prone to failure, and that is why the ones that failed are proven to be ones who didn't get that big investment.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 25, 2022, 06:15:03 AM
Real Madrid are not short of money and this clause will be easy for them but of course this is not going to be made easy by Dortmund because even if they set a price they certainly don't want to lose their assets so quickly.
I think it's going to be a bit long and January now won't happen for this move especially as there are several clubs that are trying to get close of course they will hold on for as big a price as possible.
who doesn't know madrid and who doesn't want to play at madrid, everyone knows that big money and reputation belongs to madrid so I'm really looking forward to the latest news about bellingham on the transfer market next year

dortmund are famous for their habit of selling their great players, so don't be surprised if they later sell bellingham to madrid, bellingham's future is brighter at madrid
Interesting thing is, I was expecting Jude Bellingham to go to Premier league, I mean he is an English and is a superstar so that would really make sense for an English team to get him.

Real would be of course great, they already have a great midfield with tchouameni, camavinga and valverde all who are young, with Jude they are going to have 4 great midfield, and they have rodrygo and vinicious as great wingers, that's literally 6 great young talent in each position there, other players are good too they can replace them slowly. It's just unreal at this point instead of real lol. However, I still think a team like City would definitely pay a good amount to fight for him as well.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 24, 2022, 08:19:19 PM
Qualifying for the next round is almost impossible for Juventus. Because Juventus have lost three out of four matches. And now they are 5 points behind second placed Benfica in the table. Benfica can only qualify for the next round if they manage to draw one of their next two matches. Benfica will play against Juventus and Maccabi Haifa in the next two matches. It will not be difficult for Benfica to get 1 point in these two matches. Because they are in pretty good form now. And Juventus will face PSG in their last match. It will be very difficult for Juventus to get 3 points against PSG.
Juventus chance qualifying to next round quite heavy behind 5 points left from PSG and Benfica, actually if win from Benfica and PSG still not guarantee qualifying to next round depending with Benfica vs Maccabi Haifa and PSG vs Maccabi Haifa matches. Juventus can get 9 points maximum if want 2 match later but Benfica can get 11 points although loss from Juventus but can win from Maccabi Haifa in the last match. Juventus really need help from Maccabi Haifa to win at one of two match left between PSG or Benfica.
Honestly? I think they would do much better in europa league. Now I know that if you go up a stage in UCL that means more money, but it also depends on the long run results. If you asked me if I would rather go up a stage and lose there versus being in semi-finals of Europa, I would pick semi finals, or even winning it, but if they are going to be in quarter finals of UCL or just lose the next game on Europa as well, then it's of course better to be in UCL instead.

I believe they are going to face easier opponents in Europa, looking at how they are not doing that great neither in league nor in UCL, I could see them doing a lot better in a lower level.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 24, 2022, 07:08:40 PM
Manchester United have improved a lot in their form, point by point they managed to collect in the Premier League after suffering a crushing defeat to Manchester City in the derby. Indeed, they are not entirely good because they always have problems with their consistency.
Moreover one of their players has a problem with the Ten Hag coach, I haven't heard that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave this January, but if you look at the problems that exist, chances are it will actually happen.
If it could really happen to Manchester United, I don't think Manchester United's appearance and performance itself will change so drastically. Because before that problem, Cristiano Ronaldo also didn't play fully in every match so the impact for Manchester United would also not be that big if the team had to lose a Cristiano Ronaldo.
Because Ten Hag will definitely try to keep the team on a good track with better performances every season.
That's the thing they were trying to handle, and it's not really that much of a bad idea neither. They are in need of a good striker that's true, Rashford is not enough and to be fair they could replace Rashford and Martial with Ronaldo and that would be a problem that's true. However, we are also talking about something where one of the players is 37, nearly 38 years old.

So they need to think about their future, not playing Ronaldo (and sort of Maguire too) means that they could build for the future and arrange everything perfectly. They can see their missing pieces easier, and they are handling it accordingly. No striker? No problem, use midfield and wings on offense a lot more.
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will digital dollar be a threat to bitcoin? on: October 24, 2022, 05:48:20 PM
Visa, Mastercard, and there's Paypal and the online industry is becoming a norm with stores like Amazon and eBay becoming huge but we haven't heard of any governments creating CBDCs. CBDCs only came up serious when Bitcoin and some of the top altcoins like Ethereum became big from millions to billions and then they just continue to grow bigger reaching into a trillion-dollar industry. Governments and banks tried to stop the growth of Bitcoin before but to no avail. Big companies are starting to realize the value and potential and they are also starting to adopt. So someone tells us if Bitcoin is not a threat to this old inflationary centralized monetary system? Grin
I believe that it wasn't a big thing because there wasn't a technology behind it until now, there is one now called blockchain. Visa and Mastercard and Paypal did not use a technology that was unavailable, they used one that was already there, which is servers, and they believed that they could definitely store it safer than anyone else and allowed people to use it, governments could 100% replicate what they have done, they just didn't want to take that risk of servers getting hacked or any other trouble. Meanwhile, blockchain is a new technology and that is why it's definitely much better, and that is why governments are looking into it a lot more now.
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 24, 2022, 05:05:11 AM
Dogecoin currently is traded around $0.06 that is a very good entry. Price chart still has an open gap under $0.06 but it is a good support for Dogecoin. I believe it will bounce back from $0.06 to about $0.1 to $0.12. I don't wish Dogecoin to hit $1 and $0.12 is enough for me in a bear market.

You are right too that Dogecoin only can hit $1 if there are two conditions occur: Bitcoin is in its bull market. Dogecoin gets a massive support and an explosive news like being accepted at Twitter as one of its payment methods.
That is your opinion, you think that it is a good price to buy and it will go up when the bull run comes. But I personally believe that it will not do well, and it will be doing quite terrible in the long run. While everything goes from 2x to 10x, this will not and it will cause the price to drop a lot as well.

I am not saying it is a bad investment, if you want to invest into it then go ahead, but I believe there are better investments out there and that is a lot better to look for, if there is something better than why go ahead and invest like that? It doesn't matter if you are investing at something that goes up, only if it goes up better than others.
1309  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's next for cryptocurrency? on: October 23, 2022, 09:01:22 AM
January is still far off, I am more interested in what happens during the black Friday sale and new year's time when there are major movements happening. True, that January might show bigger changes but it will depend on December.

Definitely is a good time to buy with chances of both rising and dropping from this price. Whether we might see good profits, only time can tell, holding it might give better prediction to comment on.

Year end is a critical time for traders to be on their toes. But also don't forget to spend some time with friends and family.
I guess that new years is a big deal because a lot of people get bonuses, and a lot of people have a different financial income. Like for example my wife will be getting a good amount of increase in here income on January, something like 50% more, and that is a good thing, which means she will be available to invest more after that.

If everyone is like that, then it would make sense January would be a good month, and as we can see December to January is the biggest jump usually because of everyone getting ready for a new financial status. I personally won't have much change, benefits of being freelancer is that I make as much as I work, not based on anything else.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: And officially worst year for investors on: October 23, 2022, 05:39:02 AM
I don't see it like that. It's an entry point for investors that are thinking about purchasing cryptocurrencies.
A possible chance to make profits in the short term if ever the market goes healthy again. I mean, we don't really know when it will pump so it's better if they buy the dump.
Opportunities like this may not come anymore. After a pump, a new bottom will come and that's it. Just look at Bitcoin now, I doubt it will be back to 4 digits in USD.
The strategy of others don't go like that. They wait if there's an action in the market and that will be the time that they will start buying. Because they don't like how passive and low the market is right now and don't take the opportunities that it is setting right now which is a good time to buy for everybody. Well, those that don't see the market to be like that will always have that regret when it's greater this time to buy rather than to wait when it's quite late.
That is alright if you have the money saved aside, you could take action when the time comes because you would have your investment ready. If you are a billionaire and do not want to invest right now, that's fine because you can wait in cash and you would be making an insane amount of return when the bull run starts and you end up buying it all.

However, for people like me we do not have that much money and we get to invest whatever small amount we get into bitcoin right away so that when it all starts we are not too late, even that 10% difference is a big deal for us because we have not so much and getting to profit like that helps in every way.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is due for a big break on: October 22, 2022, 08:10:41 PM
I don't see any significant updates for litcoin, I feel litcoin is quickly satisfied with the current achievements and doesn't want to experience big changes such as ETH or BNB which continues to innovate to be the best.
If it continues like this, I'm sure litcoin will remain a shadow.
The development is still in progress and some already posted by litecoin official twitter account https://twitter.com/litecoin
It seems like that this time the development of litecoin is focusing into the massive adoption. I saw that if walmart was interesting to accept litecoin to give an alternative crypto payment to the its customers. this sounds good for me but im not sure this has been giving impact to the price of litecoin.
Even if the walmart deal doesn't happen, which would be expected to be fair because if litecoin is on walmart that would be the unexpected result, then I would assume that it could still grow. As long as they are working on it, litecoin is a good project which will end up going as high as possible and stay at that high level as well.

Doesn't mean that it will be growing to a point where it's at top 5, I don't think it will get there but slowly it could creep back into top 20, top 15, and then eventually top 10 and it could stay at 10th place all I care because that would be good enough. People need to realize this is a long term project and doing well, just because it had a bad period doesn't mean it's bad.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 22, 2022, 06:35:22 AM
With bull market the price used to drop after fluctuation happening within specific limits. With the bear market the scenario is exactly different. The increase in price takes place after the fluctuation happening within limits. So, whether the market is bullish or bearish there is price volatility along with increasing and decreasing price. We should have the ability to make the profit out of the difference.
You can always make money within the "ups and downs" in price. But not everyone is able to do this successfully, as it requires patience and some discipline. Only professional traders will be able to profit even during a bear market. For the novice trader or newcomer into crypto, it's recommended to hold off until the dust settles. Usually you'd get to see a bullish market after a prolonged bear market.

If you bought cryptocurrencies when they were at their lowest price, you'll be able to reap huge rewards once everything goes back up again. Bitcoin is considered to be the main trigger of the crypto market, so I'd suggest anyone to invest in it heavily to obtain great results in the long run. Just my opinion Smiley
That is because it's not an easy task, and the ability to be able to make profit from the ups and downs, is a very difficult talent to get. I mean you would have to not only study a lot, for a long time, to become good at it, but you also have to do it plenty of times to get good at it as well. Meaning it would require years of both practice and studying to get there.

This is why not that many people are capable of doing it, because not many people are willing to spend years to become that good of a trader, you see copy trading questions, trading bot questions, leader copying questions, people who use signal groups, influencers, and all that, why? Because people rather get rich quickly.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 21, 2022, 10:40:11 AM
Honestly the Meta-verse to me felt/feels very much like the whole NFT market craze. Completely over hyped and well ahead of itself. I look at both NFT art Meta-verse as something that I can’t believe so many people were buying in to especially with Meta as we really just don’t know where things are heading with. Like what is this nonsense we seem to be 100 years too easily for. I dunno, I never got it either.
The difference is, all those "metaverse" things we have seen on crypto is just roblox type of idiotic stuff that people fell for and lost a quite good amount of money, and couldn't have been built any good at all, it was definitely a bad replica of what should have been, just to make some profit.

On the other hand, meta is not doing it for the money, in fact they have lost more money trying to build it so far than what all those projects are worth right now combined. Which means that they really want to do this for the technology of it, and not for the money they could make, or maybe money plays a role but not the first thing in their mind.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 21, 2022, 09:40:32 AM
Quote
So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
Yes, that's true. I don't also believe in hasty generalizations too. I try to factor in the fact that what works for one may not work for another. I've benefited maximally too from newly launched projects I bought and they performed unbelievably well with ROI out of this world.
That is the age old "holding" period, the more things you buy, the more you may end up profiting. Well simple, let’s assume you invested $100 into something, the max you could lose is 100 dollars, but the amount you could earn is unlimited, meaning you could make 100x from it as well, and this is possible during bull period quite commonly.

It means, if you invest into 50 things, you could have 1 or 2 things that does 100x and cover all the costs, if you then use it to buy into another 500, that would give you even bigger chance. So, the more things you get involved with, the more chances you will have to profit from the brand new ones.
1315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: October 21, 2022, 05:58:41 AM
Enjoyed reading the writing made by the author. Whatever predictions are written from sources I hope can happen. But if we look at a lot of news that it is likely that 2023 is a difficult year due to the state of the global economy and the rise in bank interest rates increases. This gives the world a chance of a major recession. According to the sources I have read at the moment, there have been many Banks that interest-rate increases. Meanwhile, economic growth is moving slowly.
If you think about it logically, If a recession really occurs, will the Halving period of 2024 still make prices increase? The reason is that many investors are afraid to enter crypto, investors choose to keep USD, so there is no large enough flow of money to crypto.
Global economy is literally the reason why we could go up. Because, if the fiat world is crashing down, it means we could crash down as crypto world too, that has happened in 2022 and that is a good example, but we have also seen fiat world going down and everything else going up at times as well and maybe 2023 will be more like that?

We can't possible know without seeing it first, and that means if the recession really hits, and everyone is unemployed and the world is in a poverty mode all over again just like 2008, then it means we could possibly see people going into bitcoin to save their money, and that could make them a lot more profits than a hurting fiat world.
1316  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: October 20, 2022, 09:30:21 PM
Is it just me or the odds are getting better and better? I get that the more customers they have, the less margin per bet they require, which means they could offer better odds since they are growing non-stop. However, I can clearly see another website, a huge name, and they have like at least 0.10 odds worse than sportsbet.io, sometimes as much as 0.20 worse, and they are bigger in customer numbers too, and yet odds are not getting better there.

I LOVE sportsbet.io because of this, they do not run it just like a regular old "business", they run it like a shop that we all go into, and hang out, chat, have a good time, like we are friends, and to be fair I feel like I know Steve enough and chat with him here enough to say I can say he is a good person and love hanging out with him, its obvious. All in all the odd thing took my interest today, some games I looked at was the best in anywhere I have seen, I checked out places as well, but sportsbet.io had the clear best odds for those NBA games I checked.
That is mainly because sportsbet.io comes from people who wagered on sports games before they created the website, meaning they knew what they wanted as a gambler, and they created a sportsbook based on that. No matter what you do, no matter how much rewards you give, no matter how much marketing you do, it doesn't matter putting candy on top of it, none of that works if your odds are not as big.

So sportsbet.io knew about this since they are also gamblers, and they ended up realizing long time ago, even before creating the website, that you need to provide the most competitive odds you could possibly do, and that will gain you the most gamblers, because people look at that before anything else.
1317  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price drops as US inflation reaches 40-Year High on: October 20, 2022, 10:49:30 AM
If anything the inflation makes BTC to rise more probable as dollar itself becomes worth less, you are reducing the common denominator to prices so like a balance scales the other side to the price is more likely to rise.
The reason why we see the opposite is main markets are quite fearful of rising interest rates and other measures (if inflation is persistently high).    BTC is still quite well comparatively, we are past the 30 day average and I hope make a good challenge to the 50 day.
People have seen the increase of inflation even today, and think that inflation causes bitcoin to drop. What they do not realize is that the real inflation increasing stuff happened a year or two ago when pandemic happened and there were trillions of dollars printed, and that meant devalued dollar and that is why people were capable of buying bitcoin in bulk as a whole world, now?

Now there are no printing and there are situations where people ended up putting their money into interest, meaning they took it out of the market and people cannot see that for some reason.

Yes, the inflation is still high but they are fighting against it, which hurt the price of bitcoin, we need to learn to see that.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Altcoins? on: October 19, 2022, 01:39:02 PM
Bitcoin not even comparable to Altcoins , though it can be considered as investment coins also but Bitcoin si too strong to be compared to altcoins.

And I am always supporting Bitcoin against all altcoins so just INVEST IN BITCOIN now matter what happens.

I may have holding some altcoins But BITCOIN IS ALWAYS MY FIRST CHOICE ..
I have the same logic, even though I invest into ETH and BNB as well for token reasons because I like the idea that they are the father of some projects and many tokens are listed on their chain, which could give them power so I have nearly 30% of my coins in eth and bnb, I still hold 50%+ in bitcoin because I believe that no matter what happens to the market, bitcoin will always be strong and will always worth something. That’s my understanding of bitcoin, and how I think it will play out in the future for sure.

This is of course just my idea, doesn't mean that it will be a right idea, maybe I am wrong and other coins will go up more, but I feel more safe this way.

I play only Craps, and I'm a newbie/pleb. I believe you're right, I probably need to find a new betting strategy with lower win/lose volatility to help me avoid being emotional.

Has anyone tried to play Craps? It's one of the most enjoyable casino dice games with low house edge. A small amount of money can let you play for hours if you play a safe betting strategy like the Three-Point-Molly.
I would say that it’s not about being a newbie or a veteran neither, you could definitely become good overnight, all you have to do is study what the masters of blackjack does, what their strategy is, like mr.brightside, and repeat that and do not get out of the zone just because you lost some, if you keep grinding it, you would probably still lose Cheesy because it’s a casino and you should technically lose in the long run, but you would at least have a better angle on how to gamble, and would lose a lot less.

Craps is a game I have never gambled, it's beyond my scope of casino games, and I just do not like going into new games, like to stay with the ones I know.

Maybe they will try to buy someone in the winter transfer window, but then you have to plan and negotiate now with the agent of the player they want to try to buy. I therefore have my doubts that they will be able to buy anyone before the summer.... I have my doubts they will have money problems, and it might not be that big a deal.
haven't heard which player Juventus really wants, it looks like they are still satisfied with the squad they have now. I still think that the best thing for Juve to do in the January transfer window is to look to other top coaches, there is no reason to keep Allegri, he will not be able to bring success to Juventus.
I believe that dude is a great manager, and he has brought so much success to City so far, as long as they keep winning the title, he should be kept. Yes, I know that they want the UCL, but that doesn't change the fact that they are dominating the league, and that’s not an easy league to dominate, they make a good amount of money from it. They literally turned into the best club of the entire league thanks to him (and spending a lot of money).

If they win UCL along with it one year, that would be awesome, but if they can't, that’s still fine. I can see this team being the only team that ever wins 7 titles in a year, but it would be very difficult to do that.
