1321  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 17, 2022, 11:41:23 AM
in working the heart and mind are in harmony, so that from previous failures we can think to improve it so that it does not happen again. having several business fields will bring us to a healthy business stability, considering that all our efforts have been planned beforehand, and finally we leave the results to God, because we can only try our best, and we should not be arrogant here
These days starting a job is as cheap as it gets. You could literally start any business with $100 alone and would do a good job, all you are required to do is making sure you can do it yourself, and not hire other people to do it for you. Or you could partner with someone and you can cover each others shortcomings as well if you want to.

I used to have this dream of starting a brand, but I didn't know the field very well, I knew the marketing part well enough, and I found a friend who was good at the field, and we wanted to partner together but it didn't happen in the end. So if you really want to start something and then fail, it’s cheaper than ever now.
The skill required is the real expense. I can afford to spend thousands of dollars, not that I have that kind of money but I could get a loan, that’s not the trouble, I would be able to get a loan as high as 10k dollars. But, can I start a job? No, I cannot, why? Because I do not have expertise in any field other than my own, and my own is a saturated market that I cannot do myself.

This is why it’s clear that we are talking about not money, but skill that is keeping people away from it. Running a business requires some sort of experience where you would have to learn the job, and after you learn it at a good level at someone else’s company, you can then quit and start your own.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 17, 2022, 05:59:03 AM
As long as crypto is not yet globally accepted, most likely people will see bitcoin or crypto as a profitable investment than just a plain currency. Although spending it is one way of promoting crypto, but at the end of the day profits is more than important. That is why I chose not to spend my crypto particularly if the value is at loss, I will just wait for a good price to sell and spend crypto like a currency.
It is definitely understandable not to sell it if you want to make a profit from your investment. There are people who are running whole business' with the crypto world, meaning they earn bitcoin and spend bitcoin to keep it going, it makes sense for them to spend, but if you are just a regular person like you and me, then we should not be selling it because the ones we spend are gone and they are not coming back.

I am trying my hardest to save these days, but seems like it's not going to happen until new years, and when that happens, I am going to end up saving so much finally. It's a bad thing to say, but I really want it to stay at these levels for another year or so, so that I can save more money Cheesy.
1323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years ago this man was accused to be Satoshi on: October 16, 2022, 09:18:20 PM
There are many candidates and most of them have self portrayed them to the world they are original creator of bitcoin but didn't have any valid evidence to prove themselves against their fake claims so in my opinion we should not look for some connections and disturb the personal life of people and making them in whole media coverage if they deny the fact and let this mystery as it is because we all are satoshi in the end.
Maybe they are not even there anymore, maybe they passed away, we do not know. Plus, I feel like it doesn't even matter, we shouldn't really look for satoshi because in the end satoshi doesn't even matter, I personally believe that the best thing he ever did was to remove himself from the calculation, that allowed him to continue existing without caring about what could happen to him, and allowed us to not be worried about the owner doing something silly.

Even satoshi "saying" something bad, would cause bitcoin to crash, it has nothing to do with bitcoin itself, but just because he is the creator, that would be bad. Hence, it's best we do not know who they are.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 16, 2022, 02:16:52 PM
indeed Barcelona have a small chance in the El Clasico match later but isn't that a strong accusation they will lose before the game starts. Things on the pitch can easily change and I won't cry over the bettors who chose Barcelona tonight. barcelona have a good capital in this match where the previous meeting with real madrid they were able to win the match even though it was only a friendly match. So I also believe Barcelona can win this match because Barcelona since the defeat to Inter in the Champions League made the chances of barcelona very small to qualify for the next round and Xavi has given a strong determination they will focus more on Laliga, most likely he will put pressure on the players  to be able to steal goals early in the match later. Real madrid has a pretty good trend in the champions league and in Laliga so some betting houses prefer that real madrid will win the El Clasico.
People may consider Barcelona not ready for this game, but they have been getting ready for this game all year and I am guessing that it will be the easiest win for them. Because they may not be doing as well as we imagine, but they are not doing that badly neither, which is the point.

I believe that we should not be letting this game one way or another in our minds though, so you may think Real will have an easy win, and I may think Barcelona will win it easily, but we are both wrong, it is going to be hard game for both teams. So, ager a smaller amount and you will do a lot better. It will definitely help people earn a decent amount of money.
1325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: October 16, 2022, 09:18:10 AM
It will give you slight advantage in any game that can be played that utilizes some form of strategy. I was so inspired by Mr. Brightside, that I played longer than my usual one or two hours, then I started losing in Craps, becoming emotional/no longer disciplined. Hahaha.

It wasn't a very big loss, but it would have been smaller if I quit before becoming emotional. Lesson learned. Cool

Did anyone visit the chatbox? Everyone is looking for "Mr. Diggy". There were replies that said, "He's in the hospital being cured for hemorroids". Haha.
This is possible if you have done something for a long time and saw the advantages of it. If you are a newbie gambler and haven't played blackjack for too long, or any other game, and you see a strategy and you do it, and if you end up losing a few times in a row, then you are going to be pretty upset about it and change it.

However, if you are a master of it, and even if you lose a few times in a row, you will know that as long as you keep pushing it and follow your own rules, you are going to bounce back. This is only possible with experience, no newbie could be born this way, and brightside had that experience to grind through any problems along the way and win.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 15, 2022, 09:29:33 PM
Redbull are already Champions for this year in both constructors and drivers Championships. This season is closed and we can say anything we like but it won't change anything, this season was won in the tracks where they dominated, don't know if the other teams would be so competitive even if they spend more money than the cap, first of all is the engineering team that creates a perfect car or if it is not perfect it is still up to them to fix issues one by one and at the engineering Redbull excelled this time.

For next year I don't think to spend over cap will be needed as 80% of all teams have started early their car preparation for the 2023 season so I expect a very strong season in the next one.
You know what would be the perfect "FIA did it again move"? I think that it would make sense for them to want more competition isn't it? Last year's deal where the winner was decided on literally the last lap was something awesome for their viewership. I do not know the ratings or how much money they made, but that must have been one of the most watched races of all time, at least up there somewhere.

This means we are talking about something that is a big chance again, how? Well, Red bull could get points deduction, and Max could get it as well, how much? They would get it enough to make it a tough challenge between Max and Charles, that would work out for them for the good.
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is a creeping beast on: October 15, 2022, 06:32:23 PM
Inflation is a common problem at any time, it is difficult to get rid of inflation, even countries that have very strict financial control are also often affected by inflation, and what the state does is continue to increase production so that the inflation rate can be controlled.
I would assume that they are the main reason why we have inflation, let alone be able to control it somehow. I mean we are talking about government printing money which caused inflation this time around, which means that we are going to be in trouble for a while now because the only way out of pandemic they found was printing money and giving it to people, all of which ended up spending it to survive, so the money went to people who do not need it, but could store it aka the rich.

That's why I am not guessing that we are going to end up with any government help to get out of inflation neither, it's going to be us working hard to find a way to get out of it, without help.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price consolidation at $20k for 4 months on: October 15, 2022, 04:20:33 PM
Quote
BTC has been hanging on the $20k area for 4 months now since early june.
Yes, because the time for investors to experience bear season in the crypto market has come, because during the pandemic that affected many assets in the countries didn't affect Bitcoin investors. I guess, this is a sign that bull season will be longer than this bear season that just completed 4 months and some days in the community for investors to continue holding until the price increase to $50k before they can sell to make a good profits.
The market is currently very difficult and it seems that the negative trend will continue, and it seems that this year's price will be difficult to leave the $ 20k area, if we focus on the long term then now is the best time to buy more, I'm sure in 2023 the market can rise again .
I wouldn't be certain about the market being low for the rest of the year. I mean there is no guarantee that it will recover neither, so do not mistake what I am saying as we are about to go on a bull run, no. All I am saying is that it's unknown, and by the end of 2022 we could end up with either 20k or 50k and anything in between, it's all about believing what will happen.

This is why it's going to be something decent to invest right now, since there is a chance that it will grow bigger. That's why I think we should be accumulating right now, and make a profit, and whenever the time comes for it to grow, we will be ready for it.

1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: October 15, 2022, 06:21:41 AM
in this case not only for beginners but for all cryptocurency users should know this because scammers will not target beginners or legends but all crypto users. so in my opinion before making an investment it is certain that we do research on the altcoin we want to invest or DYOR. because without doing research will be high risk for yourself.
The scammers don't care whether they are newbies or old people in the cryptocurrency space. What they think is how the victims can be ensnared in their modus operandi. We cannot eliminate things like this because it is easy for scammers to enter. Moreover, they are smarter than us, they package the best possible projects they will create to attract interest in their projects.
I have to say it's not going to be that impossible to save ourselves from them, unless we look for risky stuff. I mean isn't it obvious that we are looking for a thing where people are capable of scamming us, if we do not do anything that yields that risk that we can't be scammed and that's what we should be aiming at. I personally never got scammed before, and I believe I can keep on doing that, why and how?

Well, simply because I never put myself in a position where I could be scammed. This is not that hard, you go ahead and buy some bitcoins and ethereum and store that in your wallet and that's all you do, is there a way people could scam you in between this? No.

Elon musk did buy Twitter but I don't think it will have anything to do with Bitcoin for now,
we know that Elon musk is indeed a person who influences cryptocurrencies,
and if Twitter is going to accept cryptocurrencies then it might as well have an effect later, so just wait news comes again.
I think, Elon musk is an investor like you in the community, I don't think, he has the power to control the price of Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that is not control by any investors in the community. If Elon musk win the case in court, I think, he will use the compensation money to buy Bitcoin in this bearish season and hold until the price of Bitcoin increase to $100,000 before he can supply to market to make a huge amount of money.  Elon musk is a potential crypto investor that is good in long term holding, even though the price increase higher he will not sell because he is waiting for the price of Bitcoin to hit $100,000 before he can supply to market to make a good incomes.
I do agree that it's about the hype and not about the news, if there is a hype to a news then that news could cause the prices to go up, if there is no hype to a news then it could be the greatest news and it would be nothing. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really be worried about anything right now, no news would be that much of a big deal, it's going to be a very boring thing in the end.

I personally would love it if bitcoin was impacted by this and went up, who wouldn't want that (aside from short futures buyers)? But just because I want it, doesn't mean it will happen, Elon could tweet about bitcoin everyday for the rest of his life, and as long as people are not hyped about it, it won't change a thing.
1332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency is silent why? on: October 14, 2022, 09:51:33 AM
As far as I understand what he is saying, the silence here means that the market is not bullish, not that it does not have any activity. OP is just trying to look at price movements and doesn't care about market activities and this is why many people will get bored and leave the market when bear season comes. It can be said that everything is still operating normally, the projects are still continuing to build and develop non-stop, it can only be that the price is not noisy.
There is a big difference between not being in a bear market, and being in a bull market. We are not in a bear market right now because we have that hope, I mean it’s not crashing like last year, so it’s doing fine right now, last year after the ATH we crashed hard, at least we are protecting the situation for the time being and that’s fine. On top of that we are talking about something that is near bull right now, why?

Even if it’s not bull for a while longer, that doesn't mean that we are going to stay here, if the general consensus is that there is a bigger potential to go up, compared to going down, then we should realize that it’s doing fine.
1333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy trading profitable? on: October 13, 2022, 06:21:23 PM
perhaps, you will know also if that particular strategy(ies) that you have followed is working or not as we are blind enough. I'm not against of doing it because I started trading by using this one, but of course, it was not I want to keep doing this, and that is a reason why I make my own strategies. Maybe you will also think that having our own way of trading will succeed but sometimes it will also fail. As for me, whether it was copy trading or not, as long as we are in profit, that is still fine and I will keep doing that without hesitation.
The idea that it’s not sustainable should be implemented, that’s how you managed to start. There are people who think this is the way out of poverty and they will be able to get rich doing this, but the reality is that we are not going to be as rich at all. We are going to follow some people and that’s understandable, but he reality is that we are not going to be rich in the long run by following others and not understanding how it works.

This is why it’s better to learn how to do these yourself, so that you would be able to invest and earn your own money without needing anyone. Sure you started that way, but you learned later on, everyone needs to do that.
1334  Economy / Speculation / Re: October price guess on: October 13, 2022, 04:28:22 PM
Basically no one knows what will happen this October, so everyone is free to predict where the Bitcoin price will go. All possibilities can happen, especially since we know that Bitcoin's movements are very volatile, therefore it is difficult to predict. So it's better for us to make decisions based on our own research and analysis, rather than relying on other people's predictions that don't guarantee accuracy. But if we see the bear market has been running for almost a year and there is no indication that the bear market will end.
It is definitely easier to just wait for it for the longer term because in the end we are talking about something that will take a very long time to do. I mean imagine a situation where it would be near impossible for you to end up with a result that is a loss if you just hold it as long as possible.

I am not saying that it will happen right away, but in the long run it will happen after a while, and that’s a lot better. If you focus on the short term, then you are not going to end up with a profit at all because it’s much harder, even if you are right once, you could be wrong the next time and there is no reason why you should be doing that at all.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to investigate and research new projects ? on: October 13, 2022, 05:10:35 AM
Currently investing in new projects such as gambling, all techniques I have tried to see if the project I am participating in will rise or become a scam, and the best thing so that we can avoid it is to invest in new projects that we have analyzed and then with a small or minimal value.
It is definitely a smarter understanding of how we could avoid losing too much money, because in the end investing into something smaller and brand new means that there is an added risk to it, doesn't mean that others are not going to go down, even bitcoin does, but a brand new thing could turn out to be either a scam or a failure which will result with a big loss for all of us.

I have seen projects who turned out to be scams, and I have seen projects who were not scams at all, but failed to go up because creators didn't know what to do. Which is why it’s wise to put 90%+ of your investment into trustworthy things like bitcoin or ethereum, and then you can spend a small amount on new things.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Take shelter, a storm is coming in October. on: October 12, 2022, 05:43:51 PM
With the many facts that have happened in all countries, including the one I live in, and when looking at a much wider country and faster economic growth, it turns out that the crisis will hit again. I think it's better to be vigilant than to relax as if everything is fine. It is undeniable that European countries can now demonstrate to us transparently that no one will be saved forever. Fear of course there is even a fear of a more severe recession that makes us have to immediately provide supplies in advance.
Being ready for a big crash is a hard thing to do, because you do not really know what exactly you should do. If you end up buying gold, the prices of gold could drop during a crash, if you buy some stocks then they will for sure crash during a crisis, or as we can see if you buy crypto then they will crash too. So when you are expecting a crash, it is easier to hold onto your fiat and then you could end up buying something after the crash for cheap.

But if you wait on fiat, that means you are going to lose its value if there is no crash, fiat is something that gets devalued after a while, so you need to be certain that there will be a crash or you will lose value.
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: "The times ahead will be radically different from those that we've experienced". on: October 12, 2022, 02:32:51 PM
This "new world order" thing has quickly becoming complete gibberish. All the anti-western "analysts" keep talking about a "new world order" but all I see is authoritarian regimes(Russia, China, Iran) vs. the democratic countries. Is this the so called "new world order"?
So the "Chinese empire" is rising, but China also has big debts and financial bubbles. Can this "billionaire investor" guy explain this simple fact?
Does he think that China offers an alternative to freedom and democracy? What is the alternative? Being censored, having no political rights and working like a slave 12 hours a day for a miserable salary? That's a great alternative. Grin
I'm no fan of USA and the US foreign policy, but Russia and China don't provide any compelling alternative to the USA.
It is basically a question mark on how you could improve as a nation vs individually. In a world where only one person rules the nation, if that person is a good person, then he could improve the nation, but not on an individual level, you would live a horrible life, but the nation will be strong, look at China, they caused a lot of worker deaths and harsh conditions and cheap manufacturing, but that did allow them to gain a ton of USA debt, but regular person didn't profit from it.

In comparison look at USA, they are crumbling, their finances are terrible, they have so much debt, high inflation, but everyone would prefer to be an American with a job then a Chinese person with a job, that’s the difference.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: October 11, 2022, 06:08:24 PM
Inflation rapidly increased this year. Basic food stuffs like egg, oil for cooking, meat, and fish here in our country almost doubled compared to its price last year. I'm wondering if it's possible that the price of commodities will return to its previous years. If so, how or what will cause it to happen. It's just scary to think that our money continues to depreciate over the years. Will there be a time that will come where average earners like me won't be able to afford a basic life anymore.
It's not about "can they?" it's about when they will. Economy is ever growing meaning even if we could tackle inflation, and even if the fed rates stay high for a while, eventually one day we will grow back to where it was one day. Maybe it will take a few months, maybe it will take years, but we will get there for sure.

It took decades for someone like warren buffet to reach 60 billion dollars and be the richest person in the world at some time, but then took just a year or two for Elon to go from those levels to 300+ billion levels, all because of high inflation that happened and stock prices skyrocketing. Doesn't mean we will have it that quickly, maybe it will be very slow, but it will get there one day in the future.
1339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with a business mindset on: October 11, 2022, 06:41:09 AM
We are talking different things on what is traded and I don't think it can be fully applied to trading crypto (or anything that has a price chart). Business people can almost accurately interpret the level of market demand, for example the need for basic goods. They can therefore adjust the numbers that consumers can reach so as to maintain regular profits.
Producing a good and selling is a very sensitive subject. Because if you produce 25k items and then sell 1k of them it would be your bankruptcy, if you produce 1k and there are 25k people who wants it, you are missing profit, but if you end up producing exactly how much you should sell with only a few leftover items, that means you produced as much as you had to and that’s great.

Too many things that are unrelated in this and with crypto, you can't do something like that with crypto, its not a business but an investment and there are not that many paralels to this situation and crypto. Or at least if there is one, I haven't seen any.
1340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto agents on the increase on: October 11, 2022, 05:00:03 AM
Never ever believe someone that will offer you an investment scheme that promises a huge return because those are definitely a scam. This is one of the common reasons why newbies get scammed. Scammers use crypto as the front to attract them, they use the historical growth of it to easily deceive newbies. They're quick to believe that investing into cryptocurrencies can make them rich in just a short amount of time.
It is wired because if you tell people not to do it, they would say "I am not an idiot, of course I won't believe in it", but if you keep any ponzi scheme long enough, there are tens of thousands of people who would believe in it. I have seen one with over a million people once, think about how long that has gone.

I mean it is obvious that when you have that many entries, you are going to pay people back each month, but these people kept it going for 2 years, so they paid some people multiple times what they invested, just to get a lot more people and make it look good. At that point people do fall in the trap of ponzis because they made it look legit.
