2301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I no longer work for Butterfly Labs (BFL) on: June 23, 2014, 07:04:16 AM
You claimed you had your ASIC device. You claimed you had a shipping label and tracking number for the device
Both of which were true.

Of course both are true, but tell us how close were you to the actual miner at the time of the post. Have you actually touched it or it was at BFL warehouse at the time of the post?

BFL stood to gain 1000 BTC (now worth roughly $600,000) if they could claim the device had shipped by April 1st.
I don't know anything about that.
But to use present-day valuation for something that occurred in the past is ridiculous.

You didn't know anything about the bet, but you posted right before the deadline? Please allow me to NOT believe that. And 1000BTC is 1000BTC no matter the exchange rate. It's somethin BFL gained just because of your post, not because of their direct actions.
2302  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: June 23, 2014, 03:34:41 AM
So then the real devices will be available? And what specs will be?

Not sure if you are trolling or just trolling.
2303  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I no longer work for Butterfly Labs (BFL) on: June 23, 2014, 03:32:47 AM
BFL can't keep playing the "Oh well we made our best effort guess of when development would be done for our products."

If that is true then they have THE WORST development and planning team in history.

Pushing of deadlines over and over and over is unacceptable. I thought the first batch of suckers who bought BFL vaporware would have set a precedent for people to learn from their mistakes. I guess not.

Hey smoothie check this out about how bad is their development team:

You think the customers are frustrated?  You have no idea how the employees feel.  Try spending an hour swapping components you can only see through a microscope sometime...

Year 2014, design and create high performance ASIC chip, BUT swapping small components by hand! An he feels frustrated because of that. Amaizing.

...
I can very plainly state that there were NO 28nm chips available during that time frame.
...
Considering there were *NO* working 28nm chips until late April...

So after lying for the last 9 months the shill comes here and wants to tell the truth! RIGHT! Notice the emphasis on the "NO" chips. Please tell us more bcp19. We DO believe everything that you say. There were no chips before April and Inaba will commit seppukku if he misses the power draws! Yes we believe everything that a BFL employee says. Tell us more about you changing microscope components by hand and how were you so frustrated about that. It surely helps your customers who lost money on their BFL pre-order scheme. We know that ALL BFL customers are idiots because you made "ROI" because you asked for a refund.

There were NO chips before April. Please remember that everyone!

I jumped on BTCGuild luck's train, but I will be back.

@Tupsu Sorry for confusión with your nick. Lips sealed

There is not true at all. As far as I know, they are produced 1100 units to delivery in August, and all has been sold.

Thanks for referring me to such interesting reading.

- Each month we want to produce 3,000 miners

....

I think the 1100 units in August is closer to the truth. 3000 units are for September.
2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 22, 2014, 10:07:42 AM
Is there anyone who DIDN'T know this was going to happen?

You've all been told this was going to happen a load of times, you just don't want to hear.

Could I spell it out any more plainly than I did in April?

P.S. Don't forget KNC have said they are hoping to set up 2 more datorhall's, pretty much as soon as they can. So you'd have to assume they are waiting for Neptune to be ready and then they will build them asap. So those who don't think the difficulty will sky-rocket are fooling themselves. And those who get later batch Neptunes are screwed, regardless if you get one or two.

By the looks of it they already started. FU Sam Cole!

2 more 10MW DCs would mean around ~26PH and if they replace the Jup one that would be a total of ~40PH. Yey!

Is anyone having problems with Neptune's shutting down due to thermal issues or is this yet more FUD being spread by haters and envious ne'er do wells towards KNC ?

Anyone who? Only 1 Neptune is in the wild!

I figured you'd be lurking somewhere nearby RoadStress … you are never late to a KNC FUD party and your merry band 'o gentlemen can not be far behind. Now that we have OKAVNGR and RS in play, where is the raskul when you need him ?

If we want to start discussing bitcoin miners that you could cook breakfast on, lets start with that howler the SP10.

SP10 is out of stock so any talk about it at this point is useless. How many Neptunes are you waiting?

No, but I remember them stating that they will use the same model as Jupiter's. They never said separate boxes.
...

I knew it! Thank you! They even have the Jupiter picture there...

Isn't "Bitcoins first ever..." spelled wrong?
2312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 21, 2014, 01:23:39 PM
Screw the display!

We need more hash power!!

How? You really think they will sell separate boards/boxes? I doubt it.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 21, 2014, 01:19:24 PM
Yep! I stand by my theory that Neptune was supposed to be 6 chips. But some cheap bastard named Sam made an executive decision to save a few dollars when they discovered that the 5 chips could be overclocked to reach 3THs. Nevermind mind that the board components are near spontaneous combustion temps.

No need to wonder why the warranty period is 3 months now.

I thought that the Neptune was supposed to be a 4 chip because they said they will use the same Jupiter case/model.

Do you really think they had actually designed a box before last week? Lol. Even the Jupiter case looks like it was designed and built just days before shipping.

No, but I remember them stating that they will use the same model as Jupiter's. They never said separate boxes.

I do plan to continue working on P2Pool, and eventually great changes will happen. Unless something changes though, don't expect it to happen too quickly, and don't be surprised if people who disable donations get bugged a bit more when they start P2Pool (or with any other similar change to increase donations).

Thank you for the hard work. As soon as I will organize a group buy, my next donation will go towards you. Also there might be a full or 1/2 SP10 hashing for your donation address in the appropriate future.

I got to figure on how to put pictures in my post. I see I was able to do it by quoting. I'll figure it out I guess.

Just use "[ img]LINK.jpg[/img ]" without the spaces.

For the SP30 accept escrow payment?

No they don't.
2319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 20, 2014, 05:31:33 PM
GCminer version 4.4.0

And it's 666 Ghs for one chip (you need many more Jup-chips for the same).

LOL!

another download link to the exact same custom firmware as page 50 http://www.megafileupload.com/en/file/543339/kncminer-1-01-custom-bin.html

Nove Jupiter here. Just applied the custom fw and my chips are running at 900MHz. Can I overclock it from the Advanced tab without logging to ssh?
