1361  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Asics Technologoes - 6 THS Bitcoin Miner - First PICS! on: October 13, 2014, 06:35:30 PM
Well it seems that nobody else is complaining so this was a very lame attempt of a scam because nobody bought it. Suckers!
1362  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Negative Difficulty (Difficulty DEcrease) on: October 13, 2014, 06:28:31 PM
Unless we get BTC fiat jumps.

Or technical improvements leading to significantly better J/GH or GH/s$, some of which are already in the pipeline.

Those take time. At least 3 months from tape out and no future generation chip has taped out yet.
1363  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: October 13, 2014, 06:26:08 PM
Under IPO we go @ 0.09BTC/share. Will we see 0.01BTC/share before the turn around? Long, cold winter for AM part deux.

Well, I don't think we'll see 0.01 BTC... That's just too low!

Ok!
1364  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: October 13, 2014, 01:14:43 PM
I actually had increased the start and max on the slower unit befor posting here to see it helped but it did not.

Fans are set to 80

That is a good speed that you got on your slow SP10 so I don't think there is much that you could do. Slow batch is slow  Grin
1365  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 2^256 Deep Space Vagabond on: October 13, 2014, 06:50:32 AM
I the mean time, any developers who want to jump on board to help speed up development for the user friendly platform, please message us, there are about a dozen of us [developers] working on this now, along with a few dozen mathematicians, statisticians, and even a half dozen cryptographers with over 45 years combined education.

This is an interesting project, but I have some questions as a spectator of it. Do they do it as a hobby in their free time? If not then who is paying the team? Are they on a payroll? What is your budget that you are dedicating to this whole operations? Because you can't do it with 3.3 BTC.
1366  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: JustHack.net Trusted? on: October 13, 2014, 03:47:38 AM
Thanks man.
My friend ordered from here and he confirms that this is safe.
i will deal with $800 let's hope its LEGIT

Did he received anything from them? Good luck, but don't come here if you get scammed.
1367  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Still buying Hardware? on: October 12, 2014, 03:52:41 PM
I'm not the one who thought of the idea. I didn't even know it was debatable until now.

What exactly do you find difficult about using a miner as a space heater?

There are a lot of things that make it difficult. Lack of energy circuit power, kids, lack of physical space, pets, wife, loud noise etc. Miners have lots of cables and need a big power circuit because you don't want your breaker to trip when you plug in your stove or washing machine or iron. And I would really like to see a bedroom heated by miners. I wonder how will the wife sleep with your new toys.

Using miners as a space heater is only available for a few miners. For the majority of them this is simply not doable.
1368  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 12, 2014, 03:47:31 PM
3) Lack of support? They're the first company to actually hire a proper representative purely to increase communications.
4) Untested firmware releases? Engineers were getting heckled so much for a firmware update that they pushed an update with one file location wrong. It was fixed within a day, and within the meantime another member of staff had already shown the workaround.

Yes lack of support. I think that you missed this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=515448.msg9163035#msg9163035 It seems that the S2 firmware isn't up to date and all S2s are in danger of having their hashrate stolen. Don't judge entirely on the past actions, judge by the present actions. (like in AMs case where they are represented by not having preorders when they DO have preorders)
1369  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitFury BF3500/4500 Purchasing? on: October 12, 2014, 10:28:55 AM
Although the BF864C55 is still a very competitive chip when rated by efficiency, I would advice you to wait to see if our next chip would be more suitable for your project.

Any hint when your next chip will be released?
1370  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: October 12, 2014, 02:44:44 AM
Happy 400 pages Spondoolies Tech!

1371  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 11, 2014, 10:38:43 AM
OK, so maybe they want to off load some risk or find some suckers who will pay more than it's worth. Pure nonsense Roll Eyes

Isnt that the essence of AM's business model (and that of every other asic vendor) ?

No, it's yours and Bitfury's. AM is still operating on the profits they earned from the capital they raised from IPO and have already paid shareholders 6x what they invested.  That's the difference.

This was in the past. How is the present and the future for AM?
1372  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining Asics Technologoes - 6 THS Bitcoin Miner - First PICS! on: October 11, 2014, 07:59:28 AM
jjj is on vacation probably. Used to post every day, but last post is Oct 01 and "Last Active: 2014-10-06". I'm sure he'll update us when he comes back.

I don't  thunk he will update because there are no updates.
1373  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 10, 2014, 08:36:47 PM
100MW. Thats ~125PH with todays tech and if he achieves his 0.2J/GH goal later this year, thats 500 PH. Or 1EH next year if he does get it down to 0.1JGH Shocked

I wonder if FC will address this issue.
1374  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 10, 2014, 08:42:17 AM
He won't answer that as he knows perfectly well he and other at BFL lied about burn-in.

Don't forget about FCC approval. Not sure what happened with the CE markings.

Is there evidence of statements that they were seeking FCC, CE and other marks?

Since there is no evidence they ever received any certification whatsoever on any of the products they sold.

FTC would possibly be interested in that as it goes to their credibility.

Of course there is. I don't feel like searching much so I only found this:

When is the Jalapeno getting FCC approval?

Maybe two weeks? We are waiting for the test lab to issue the test report.

With the bump in power requirements on the MR and the new screen, we had to make changes, although the new screen is already certified.  We are doing all the devices at once, since they all share the same board.

I am sure that our good friend Phin or Google can reveal more evidence.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The time of Dogecoin is nigh on: October 10, 2014, 08:31:29 AM
....And not to mention, bitcoin's max block size of 1mb is nearly reached (currently around 300kb per block)....

Stopped reading here. If for you 300kb is nearly 1MB then we have a problem! Stop wasting people's time with useless posts.

Black Arrow, There is talk on Ecoin that you are broke - Is it True?

Can we get  some kind of official answers as to what is happenin?

Why would you believe anything that comes from BA?
1378  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 10, 2014, 05:52:10 AM
Why would I delete that one post and not the others?  FFS, can you display your complete lack of critical thinking more blatantly? Can you stop and think for one second before you hit that reply button, or do you just post a stream of consciousness as it occurs to you?  Is it a compulsion?  I'm seriously trying to understand why your posts are filled with so much stupid on a regular basis.  Do you seriously not realize how idiotic you sound 99% of the time?

Your posts are getting really boring since they all look alike. Please try to diversify. We got that you have word manipulating skills, but let's move on!
1379  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: October 10, 2014, 03:40:49 AM
Which only took what, 10 years?

1 year for AM.

You are lacking reading comprehension.

Bitfury just raised another $20M, so there's some confidence out there that asic development can still be a profitable.

Source?
