Is this a new trend on this topic? I am not drunk, but I'm seeing A LOT multiple posts from the same person. Is this something like the macarena dance?

Well after a week in the DC, I can clearly state these tubes SUCK!! total junk!! Unreliable heat MONSTERS!!
Out of 40 boards 10 are severely under performing and I had 1 start on fire today. Now to see IF the RMA process is as botched as the sales process.  Angry Angry Angry

Sorry for your mining operation, but now you see why is it worth to pay a bit more for some reliable and stable miners?

Are people really advocating bitcoin-qt for noobs? Noobs will not backup their wallet after every transaction so I consider this to be a bad idea. Why is armory so hard for noobs is beyond me. The armory client has 3 versions of UI and I find it to be pretty intuitive regarding back-up and transfers and wallet management.

Instead of making the noobs learn their way through Armory you would prefer to have them make a back-up after each spend they make? Maybe I am missing something. Did the bitcoin-qt client changed regarding the back-up and I am not aware of this?

[6/5/2014 7:40:21 PM] Joshua: in general - the conversation ended with me ripping up a 1 dollar  bill into 16ths and placing it on the table demonstrating how psychological the world is not ready for a fractioned coin, they want to have 1 or a whole something especially something that doesnt exist anyway
[6/5/2014 7:41:32 PM] Joshua: its a good idea, and would fix the industry. I went there because I actually got all the major mining ceos in one room to discuss the idea and at least discussing mutual problems in order to form some sort alliance or at least trade association of sorts..

Epic chat! So the scammer who can't build a miner now talk about the financial psychology of people. I don't want to even extrapolate about what he said, but it's just pure retardness...

Did we ascertain whether the SP30's come with zero, one or two power cables?

2

The SP30 comes with 2 cables for power, but not the ones that you plug into your socket. They are only an extension that goes between the power cord and the PSU. You still need to provide 2 PSU power cords.

I get the sense that the profitable elements of the company have been removed, or planned to be removed, from AM's stock and into other entities.

I don't know if you are a shareholder or if you are affiliated with any other company, but I am glad to hear someone else have this opinion. I expressed it in the past too, but having an affiliate link in the signature got me only insults.

what like rockminer? they still have to buy the chips from AM

Sure, but at a minimal/nonexistent profit for AM.

If FC sold all the chips then he should have at least 10 million easily. How much VC money were you thinking of and what would FC use it for?

"If"s don't move anything. Money move stuff.

Edit: An unsatisfied customer of the Tubes:

This is September. Last September I sold BTC2000+. Now,

"I will not sell 2000 BTC this month. I will not sell 2000 BTC this month. I will not sell 2000 BTC this month."

 Grin

Please sell so we can have another liftoff! Please sell so we can have another liftoff! Please sell so we can have another liftoff!

Why not sacrifice 2k BTC for a bigger wealth? I would If I had at least 4k BTC!

If this were the case and AM was transitioning profitable aspects of the company into other areas off the book, board members would likely be the first to be aware of this and sound the alarm. A few of the board members post here the odd time, I would expect this would have been vetted here in the shareholder thread by now in such a scenario.

You mean the board members that got ~6x their initial investment in form of dividends? What if they are shareholders in the tick companies? Or what if they just don't care?
1612  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 05, 2014, 11:54:05 PM
Although, I am not sure why FC would take VC money, I do not think operating capital is currently a limiting factor, I may be wrong.

My personal opinion is that you are wrong here. You can do a lot of things when you have lots of cash.
1613  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AMT fucks us over again on: September 05, 2014, 11:50:55 PM
My order is quite large, so it may be a bit longer. I'm interest in owning the hardware, and no other US based company is offering that now.

Please post a proof of your big ass hashrate or else go eat a bowl of dicks!

This isn't like before where he could just flee Romania and lay low as a fugitive.

By the looks of it, it's actually better since there is nothing going on. Maybe you can prove me wrong by taking him to curt.

Please elaborate exactly how you know there's nothing going on?

I don't know, but usually people share information about this kind of stuff here in the main thread. If it isn't the case then I get it and I hope you put him behind bars! Good luck!

You guys obviously need to check the Subject of this thread...

Nobody gives a rats ass about your cooling or power issues...we're here for miner pron.
Well, if you kept up with the thread then you know that the comments about cooling referred to pictures that were pulled down.

Who comes to a "Pictures of your mining rigs!" thread to read?  I think you're missing the point.

This! There are dedicated thread for all the other things. Keep this one with miner pron please.

Hello All.

I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Paul, a client of AMT. I ordered a few miners back in March and I've received both of them and they are mining just fine. I too, to some extent share your feelings, but I realize that your hurting all of AMT's clients by continuing to bash AMT. See, I'm a realist, I ordered from each company as a hedge. I knew there would be delays, and I was in touch with AMT throughout most of it. But you guys can't be dumb enough to think that hurting the company is going to help anyone get what they want.

The accusations of sock puppet and shill account are due to come. But we'll get passed that in time. See I followed their threads from time to time, I mean who has the time to sit on a forum all day?  And I liked this Opeium character, but now its just obvious that you sucked up to AMT in order to receive your miner faster and jump the line. And the day you received it you start bashing them again.

Mr. Opieum, please understand that I commend AMT for trying, and eventually delivering me something. I lost over $80,000 to the whole hashfast situation. Prior to purchasing from AMT, I did drive down to Philadelphia to meet those two, and I have recently had discussions with them again about "investing" (placing a substantially large order) which would allow them to get back on track. So your sir, are claiming to hurt my investment. It is something we'll surely need to discuss.

Hello Redbull Zipkin. Care to share with us how come you felt the need to came here and defent scammers from AMT? How did you find out about AMT if not from this forum?

Also care to show us your order invoice or some proof of your AMT miners? What about your HF order? What about the miners from each company? Do you keep the SP10 in your house?

At least BA was/is a legitimate company (even if its useless), but this scammers don't have anything.
1619  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 05, 2014, 10:09:23 PM
this is only possible if you used coupon for an expensive early order.

That's why I try to get at least one miner from every batch.

Thanks, but not very clear. So, I cannot use two of my own coupons on one order, but if I have a coupon and bought another coupon from someone, then I can use two?
This is not very logical.

Yes that sounds weird and I think it's mostly miscommunication. You should be able to use two of your own coupons on one order.

SP31 failed? Grin Tongue Cheesy

Nope. Just ordered one for ~2k$!

No, unless you have a special "roadstress" price.

Or a coupon.
