2301  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a partner in escrow service on: February 14, 2022, 07:04:44 PM
Hey,

Doing my best for a good reputation, and i am trying to be as transparent as i can in the business.
I will check that out, but there is no public information on how they got started, i will be including a mixer service as a feature in the escrow, and creating one too atm.

Build a community around your product/service. Many businesses are starting to discover that this is the fastest way to gain customers. Promote your platform through bounty campaigns. You can set a bounty program and give some rewards to people who write reviews about your platform, affiliate users who refer new users and contribute ideas for improvement, etc.
2302  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie on: February 13, 2022, 10:35:06 PM
Hi All,
I am new to crypto investing and want to purchase my first Bitcoin but I am totally confused as to which platform I should use to make my purchase, currently, I have been using etoro and have in my portfolio several crypto's.  But I am not sure if this is the best platform for buying 1 bitcoin as it seems to lack good customer care.

Etoro is not a good platform to buy crypto. What's more, I don't think you can withdraw a cryptocurrency from their platform at all, all you can do is trade.

1) If you were to recommend a platform which one and why.

Depending on where you live, you can use one of the local exchanges in your country. The second solution is some of the globally popular exchanges as other members have already mentioned. Furthermore, you can probably find a local seller and buy crypto in person if you do not want to go through KYC procedures.
2303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why don't popular micro/freelancers sites adopt bitcoin? on: February 13, 2022, 09:37:24 PM
We have many freelancers sites that accept Cryptocurrency I remember hiring one on https://www.banigig.com/, unfortunately, freelancers and userbase are small, big companies like Fiverr like to use Paypal because they want to protect their clients because of the chargeback and also to verify their users and freelancers, Fiverr three years ago accept Bitcoin I hired people to do writing job and always pay via Bitcoin

Yes, I remember Fiverr accepting Bitcoin for a while. Sadly, they stopped accepting it five years ago. I never found out the real reason why Fiverr made this decision. They explained it in business terms and said they had little interest in such a form of payment (which I could not believe), but I think something else was behind it. It is possible that they had difficulties due to the legislation at the time.
2304  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 13, 2022, 08:43:06 PM
@Haunebu  KYC is not that mandatory on Roobet and the last time I checked it the amount you want to withdraw will determine if users are going to go through KYC. However, these rules are set by the Roobet Master license holder.
Wrong. KYC(Level 1) is mandatory on Roobet and they made that change sometime back which upset many gamblers including me. Weird that you aren't aware of this when you are literally advertising their signature.

This is correct. Either he hasn't gambled on Roobet for a long time or he has another definition of KYC, so he believes providing personal details, such as names and places of residence, is not KYC. In either case, it is not wise to provide false, inaccurate or unverified information to other members.
2305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vikingbet.io launched this week. on: February 13, 2022, 07:23:57 PM
For this casino to gain the attention of many anonymous players the KYC requirements on the site should be worked on because not many of us will like to give out KYC documents to the casino just to play a couple of games on a new casino,
Hope to see the admin of vikingbet will attend to all requested comments and suggestions.

I agree with that. The choice of a new casino for many gamblers depends on their preferences, and it is well known that KYC does not rank high on that list. The introduction of KYC was a bump in the road for me, one that I had to overcome in order to continue using my preferred platform. Many popular casinos only require KYC for withdrawals of large amounts of money, as required by AML laws in their jurisdiction. However, Vikingbet has decided to go the other way and request KYC from the start, which is not that popular in the crypto world, so I am afraid it could turn away a lot of potential players.

Well, i am a bit confused on the trust part, since basically no one in the forum tried the escrow and tested it to trust it even!
So how can i earn trust? even tho i am more than glad to let on one of the escrow providers in the forum in and he can have control of the wallets as well.

I do not know how you can earn trust, but as far as this forum is concerned, I assume members are more inclined to trust more respected senior members than newcomers. Regarding your service, put yourself in our shoes. Would you be willing to risk your money on some unknown guy just so that he can build his trust score? Where is the incentive for us?

I suggest you look at how some of the most popular mixer services got their start if you want some ideas on how to get your business off the ground.
2309  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: SCAM upozorenja Zbirni topic on: February 13, 2022, 03:02:55 PM

JBG, meni tih ljudi nije zao.

2312  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit blocks withdrawals with 0.53 BTC in account on: February 12, 2022, 11:12:39 PM
Or it is another 1xBit shill account who is trying to show that 0.53 btc scam accusation got solved.
Usually 1xBit does not even respond in 5 days and now I am supposed to believe that they resolved issue that fast within 0.53btc on the line?

Indeed... Even more: who would get copper membership for posting the "relevant images" of the scam? A complete newbie would be probably lost, somebody who's not planning to advertise would probably just post the links to the images.
I won't say anything definitive without clear proof, but it indeed smells fishy.

Yes, this seems to be all an elaborate ruse. There is no real surprise here. We can already see their shills bragging about a complaint that was successfully resolved in 1xbit ANN thread. Moreover, his whole betting history seems a little too good to be true.
2313  Other / New forum software / Re: Progress? We're waiting... on: February 12, 2022, 09:12:28 PM
Wordpress is much worse for security and it's much easier to hack, so I would never run a forum like this.

It's more accurate to say Wordpress is not secure enough by default. There's good reason why Wordpress is most popular option for blogging/personal website.

WordPress is used by 65.3% of all the websites whose content management system we know. This is 43.3% of all websites.

And besides, I do not think WordPres can serve as a serious forum platform, since it was not designed for that purpose. There is no way it could successfully run a forum of this magnitude such as bitcointalk. It may be the most popular content management platform for simple websites, but forums are quite another story.

Update: For now this campaign can be considered to be put on HOLD. It may be coming back sooner than you think but for now you can remove your Signature and Avatars and join other campaigns if you'd like.

I also want to know about Merit earning.Becasue I will try to be a Jr member in this forum at first and to learn about crypto deeply.

Why do you want to become a Jr. Member so soon? You don't need that to learn about crypto. The only thing you need is to take an interest and read about crypto and ask questions. It's really that easy. Ranking up will come naturally if you take the time to engage in the discussions.
