Hope intersango dies with bitcoinica, withdrawl your bitcoins now they can't be trusted

lowest ask there now is 8.45GBP which is $13.35 and people are still picking up coins at that price

Uhh i see them for 7.37 GBP not 8.45.

it can change in seconds  ,they were that price when i posted it and soon after started dropping
im sure there is some chart somewhere that will confirm intersango prices last night

2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: is speculation the dumbest, most exciting thing going? on: August 03, 2012, 08:52:44 PM
Pull back when we hit a top of $12, you heard it here first :p
So by that logic you gonna sell now?  Tongue

i acquired a good few  coins around $5-6 so $12 would be quite reasonable to cash out ..........but i think
il give it a bit more time  Wink
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pirate Manipulation behind the recent price spike? on: August 03, 2012, 08:50:17 PM
someone is buying at 8.00GBP  or 12.60 USD on intersango

 Shocked

It is more likely pump and run.

have a look a at intersango

the GBP buying is out of control

i think it all the people who are scared intersango is going to default (since GBP withdrawls are still blocked )

combined with everyone whose needed coins the last 3 weeks when the 3 stoges were on holiday and interango

was unoperational

if i had anything deposited there ,i would join them and withdraw it ASAFP!
2308  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: August 03, 2012, 07:15:27 PM
if their metro  account gets locked for AML  ,good luck getting your GBP outta there

i think withdrawing as many coins as you can ASAP is probably not such a bad idea

before this turns into Bitcoinica 2

2309  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: August 03, 2012, 03:20:27 PM
I think everyones making this overly complicated unnecessarily

the system has payb.tc has been originally designed is working  perfect for withdrawls and deposits IMO

it may take up to 24 hrs but it may only take a few minutes if u get lucky
+1 here too

With a savings account paying this interest (that's 6.9 friggin' percent A WEEK guys!), I have absolutely NO problem whatsoever waiting 24 hrs for a withdrawal.

its beyond me that people are designing more complicated withdrawl programs when the current ones are fine

its probably a good thing that payb.tc has to glance over the withdrawls manually and then them approve them as doing by script would be another way fraud coould happen if the site was hacked when he was sleeping and someone managed to steal the coins
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: probably too many white people already on: August 02, 2012, 07:44:09 PM
try again folks. i am black. i used a provocative subject line and there is indeed 'racism' here, but it's nothing that you aren't aware of already. do black people identify with their own subculture, the borders defined by them largely by skin color? absolutely. i don't agree that this is somehow a good direction for humanity, but i never said anything about dumber/slower, either... that you came up with THAT is 'racist'.

I am curious, though.  How would you, as a black person, promote bitcoin to black people?

I would feel more refreshed and helped if the money i gave intersango about 3 weeks ago was credited to my account istead of lies ,excuses and more lies  Shocked

2313  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 02, 2012, 04:24:30 PM
Here is a BitTorrent magnet link for the movie Chasing Madoff.

Worth watching, in my view. It is a documentary, approximately 1:30 h long.

Unfortunately this forum does not recognize the magnet protocol, so you'll have to feed it into your BitTorrent client in some other way. For example, in µTorrent you use the command File, Add Torrent from URL..., then you copy the following magnet link into the dialog box (one line):

magnet:?xt=urn:btih:00552b8d379a0eed0f6e252816560d593a8f56e4&dn=Chasing+Madoff+2010+DVDRip+XviD-WiDE&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.openbittorrent.com%3A80&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.publicbt.com%3A80&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.istole.it%3A6969&tr=udp%3A%2F%2Ftracker.ccc.de%3A80

If pirate hadnt locked his own thread ,it would have kept all the bitching in a nice neat and tidy place

people who dont trust him could state  their observations there and people who do trust him could defend the scheme but now its taken over every thread and a poker player  is trying to make himself famous on the back of it for some reason

locking pirates thread was only going to cause multiple new ones ,a subject like a btcst possible ponzi or not was never going to be hushed by simply  locking a thread .....

i am president of a large bank in lagos , attending urgent matters  in london but i would need the items shipped immediately to my son in nigeria as birthday gifts

I will make an offer of 4000 btc for the gifts as i need them urgently delivered by express
2317  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: August 02, 2012, 11:00:59 AM
I Will believe it when I have my money........

The IRC Channel Intersango is full of people "sideing"  with them which believes me to think they have people in the channel trying to down talk people's arguments.

Phatomcircuit will speak for a bit but just copy and pastes the same info to me time and time again.

I don't understand how they have access to the account but cant make deposits to our Intersango account ? Technical errors are usually fixed ASAP for customers, especially a company thats constantly having deposits made to there account. Is it that they have access but have a load of payments with no Payee ref that we put and there just going through the backlog then when they match our lost or sorry "in Limbo" (as I was quoted) money with date/time ac number etc it will appear....

I appreciate the update but is it really THAT helpful ? They should be taking this VERY seriously and updating the status at least daily/half daily ?

This is my first experience of Intersango and its been a very off putting one. I wont be advising anyone I know to buy/invest in BTC from Intersango as this has been a COMPLETE fiasco. I work for one of the biggest companies in the world and we officially have one of the highest customer satisfaction rates in the UK. I couldnt talk about my companies and Intersango's customer support on the same day its that bad.

If its not in my account by Saturday I WILL be seeking legal advice.

*rant over*

sounds like scammers buying more time
this is about the 7th excuse ive had in 3 weeks
they are criminals and i will also make a police report if i dont get my cash (its GBP (not btc ) so i imagine the report will be taken as seriously as any other fraud case

2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacks and thefts are mostly a good sign on: August 01, 2012, 08:34:25 PM
who are you going to call when your btc wallet gets hacked for $10,000 of BTC ?

The flip side of freedom is responsibility.

if bitcoin is going to grow to mainstream  ,it has to be more usable

right now its just too complicated for the simple minded average person

even a monkey could use a credit card and  4 digit pin but keeping your coin encrypted well
requires a bit more effort
