lol everytime the price goes up $10 everyone goes crazy!

There was a time when the price going up $10 meant doubling the value of your bitcoins!!

I'm not screaming moon yet, but price has increased over 20% in 7 days homie

That happened 2 weekes back as well. So unless, its over 400, and stable, no point in speculating.

Its never going to be "stable"
It should behave in either direction in tandem with corresponding buys and sells
1782  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 378$ on: November 11, 2014, 09:58:22 AM

And it's Sunday, we're supposed to have a dip. Will next week bring us 400+?
Will this week bring us 400+?

edit: changed the topic's title a bit, and added this:

pic related: bull feeding frenzy continues...

Really nice to see bitcoins recovering. Just found this forum, but I hold a lot of bitcoins.

There are some really nice people in this bitcoin community, and all of them(at least 99.9% of them) believed in the bitcoin prices going upwards in the long term, and they have kept the coins, even when it's at the very low. If they have sold the coins, then the whole market would have crashed.

I think bitcoin is going to touchdown at $480 on Christmas, or even more. There are some people who believe it's going to skyrocket to over $1,000,000, but I don't personally believe that. Nice and steady is my type.

Please fasten your seat belts gentlemen, for soon we shall have hookers and blow on the  moon!  Smiley
1783  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Arrested for feeding homeless people on: November 11, 2014, 01:47:35 AM
Not sure why a city thinks they need to regulate this man's charity. There seem to be more homeless now than ever in my lifetime. Keeping them out of site isn't going to make them go away.

If we stop feeding them there will be less homeless than ever in your lifetime.  Survival of the least lazy.   Wink

Until they start helping themselves, muggings and burglary and street crime will all go up if they stop feeding the crazys in any western city
1784  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: turtlehurricane - ripped me for $1000 on: November 10, 2014, 11:36:52 PM
He was making 500usd a day from just you every day and he ripped off 900usd?

Doesn't make much sense.....

Satoshi should send him an email back saying he's got a million btc from the genesis block onwards so he can spend 24,500 btc on a blowjob and some   lunch..... Smiley
I heard Satoshi was a genderless Reptillian High Lord from the Andromeda Galaxy, so he doesn't have penis and therefore cannot receive a blowjob.

I heard satoshi has a 14" cock and stones like trombones.... Only one of us can be right son..... Smiley
1786  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cop arrests random girl, takes her cell, steals nudes on: November 10, 2014, 08:41:34 PM
anyway, if any entity that has to be watched&control the recording... I smell the catshit already...

Imagine, a cell, the camera is only pointing on the left side... what will happen on the right corner will still be matter of discussion... but once the wall themselves will speak, no place un turn will be left for the criminals... Mercy isn't my +.

You don't got the proof of police brutality that allegedly happened off camera, they can shoot you in "self defence "and say you attacked them  and they will get away with it

I know which one I would prefer...
1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will start a new rally? on: November 10, 2014, 08:35:41 PM
the actual rise of the bubble happens in a markedly opposite manner: quick and violent.

What's the reasoning behind this? Other than it's the history of bubbles. Why does it explode as opposed to steady increase?  All of a sudden demand increases 1000x and everyone buys at the same time, seems kind of remote? Is it just crazed excitement?

History does tend to repeat itself if you look at almost any other commodity, there's no logical  reason to think btc will be any different

Expect a rollercoaster because its not going to be smooth sailing on calm seas all the way
1788  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Cop arrests random girl, takes her cell, steals nudes on: November 10, 2014, 08:27:01 PM

Not when they know they're being recorded they don't Smiley

I prefer when they don't know... the shadows have ways that are more fun to bring truth to light.

You will still get a beating and sent to jail unless you have someone else to be a witness and present the video tape to your lawyer etc

It takes six years to learn the law but only six months to be handed a badge and a gun to enforce it

That's why most cops can't even recite the law they claim you have broken and end up like the  stuttering fucks they are

There are plenty of videos online of cops arresting people for things that are not even illegal and getting into arguments when they occasionally do encounter a lawyer or a citizen who knows the law they usually back down or make a false accusation to save face...

They don't stutter, they just beat you up and throw you in the car

Not when they know they're being recorded they don't Smiley

And in regards to your last statement, there are not enough jobs for everyone, it is that simple.  Regulations constrict the economy to the benefit of the present establishment.

Robotic integration results in a system that values growth of the system without any regard for the well being of humans.  Sorta like a virus, leaching off the life of humanity.

And how could a system as such tolerate sharing?  That devoids the power of the system completely.

Dank - just fuck off...
1792  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Arrested for feeding homeless people on: November 10, 2014, 08:17:22 PM
I hope they're happy when the crime rate rises because an army of homeless people who have had their food supply removed from them will more than likely start helping themselves and I would rather live in a neighbourhood that feeds the crackheads than one that doesn't Sad
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: November 10, 2014, 08:01:53 PM
Just bought 3 more BTC for 1k, like a fuckin BOSS

Oi! Showing off is prohibited. stop it!
Smiley

If you have it, flaunt it.
There were people who felt pretty smug because bitcoin's price "fell" to $500.
They don't look so cool now.

I don't agree, whats the point of flaunting, making people feel worse about themselves? MEAN!

Now is the time to get in, you think when the reward half's again  your ever going to get Coins this cheap again??

If you don't buy any now, don't complain when they're  over 10,000usd each........ Sad

You can lead a horse to water, but I guess you really can't make him drink lol

There was a time when the price went from 1 to 10

There will be a time when it goes from  400-4000
A bit of good news or a couple of rich investors decide to jump in the price could double or triple in a matter of hours never mind months
1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are killing Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency as a whole on: November 10, 2014, 08:34:55 AM
lol @ the alt currency homos crying about the altcoins Cheesy

Kinda funny, no offense!

Dear sir,

In your infinite display of intelligence and wisdom, as evidence of your post, you have shown me the error of my ways. From this day forward, I shall never again touch another alt coin and stay true to Bitcoin only, for fear that I will become a "homo" (since that is such a significant insult, because homosexual people really are the bane of the earth right?).

But Everyone knows alt coins are gay, no ?

You need to spend money to make money. Sitting and holding is a gamble of a sort - planned and well executed investment with sound knowledge is necessary if you want to be 'rich'.

Be aware that bitcoin can go anywhere the heavy weights want to take it. You could invest in legitimate projects while doing your own research and analysis of the merits of such investment if you want to maximize your profit. Holding 120 btc is better than 100, and 200 would be even better.

Plan carefully, find legitimate partners.

That's like asking to get scammed lol
How many legitimate btc "investments"  have there been so far? And how many people got burned, and lost coins in the past that would be worth a fortune at today's prices?

" how many people got burned" - I can answer that one, One, ME  Roll Eyes

Bad news, but its all too common

Have a read of this and is not even up to date : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83794.0

Is they're some reason you can't keep them safe yourself  at home?  On paper or in a safe  or sd cards, bank security boxes etc

If you were Bill Gates or Sir Branson, how much money would you get in BTC?

I'd probably send $40 million over to Bitstamp  Cool

That'll get you around 111,100BTC at today's rate

Don't know about Gatesy but think Brando already picked up and currently bagholding  Grin

Bill Gates is already at the stage where he doesnt give a fuck about money (as in getting more of it)  so I doubt he's going to be here watching to see the highs and lows but he's said favourable things about the tech model and sir Richard Branson as a billionaire  doesn't need the money either but he is happily accepting them for his  space tour flights   and probably even hodling them since he would have no need to cash out into fiat anytime soon  lol

that's an interesting discussion but did you know that this year alone there were more new billionaires than ever before?

I'd bet the first thought of many new billionaires is: "now I must make sure to remain billionaire" which means they are going to buy some bitcoins and that's a cold hard proven theory!

in the bitcoin world billionaires don't exist Cheesy even a millionaire is fine :p

Satoshi would be easily a billionaire if he still has the first million btc ever mined
Ross ulbright from silk Rd would have been a billionaire too if they hadn't have caught him and they're probably not the only ones with large amounts either

Branson is worth around 5 billion I think but he owns a lot of stuff that generates revenue every year

I was very happily surprised to see him getting into Bitcoin in its relative infancy but he obviously sees the potential in it

He's right more often than he's wrong and he didn't get 5 billion by being dumb
