Yah the scale on that makes it look super dramatic, barely a hiccup really.

Bitcoin be like ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GRuzaMwvrA

Stay calm gentlemen, there was erratic behaviour very similar before the last ath too
Its all to be expected on the way up
1724  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ on: November 14, 2014, 06:22:14 AM
3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ $394! .... $340? Yeah "it's happening" alright, mini rallys getting crushed is happening

Amazing what a little belief, sideline money, short covering, and massive fake media hype can do for bitcoin in a day... Just remember here today, gone tomorrow!

Couldn't you follow your own advice and be "here today, gone tomorrow"  please
Your negativity has no place here, your motives are obvious but they aren't going to influence the price so you can buy cheaper......

1725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Well that didn't last long... on: November 14, 2014, 12:56:24 AM
Price is going back down quickly, seems like bitcoin cant sustain price growth or higher price levels.  The downtrend seems to still be in tact.  Was it just another fake pump?

hang on
its barely  breakfast time in china now
the buying may well continue all day like it did yesterday and ease  off in the evening (chinese time )
1726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the new 3 billion Euro Hedge fund take bitcoin to moon? on: November 14, 2014, 12:51:21 AM
Has anyone seen a confirmation or futher details on that statement "hedge fund will start trading on OKCoin's platform"?

All the news I found with Google, a few hours ago, were entirely based on that phrase from that audio file.

Has anyone seen anything about that on OKCoin's site?  They have a forum/bboard somewhere in there...

True or not this is no good for bitcoin price! They know how to buy at a bargin... Buy in with all funds possible... Then start shorting near the peak to bring the price all the way down to basement bargin prices. I wouldn't be surprised if they want coins at $111~

fud fud and more fud ................Smiley
1727  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to buy Bitcoin with cash? on: November 14, 2014, 12:49:16 AM
I have a question

My mail gets delivered to my home
I don't get it at the usps office
I have opportunity to tamper with the mail after I receive it  just as much as the sender had to tamper with it before he sent it

Can you really not see how a scam is waiting to happen from 1 party?

Totally agree. Sending money in an envelope is dumb.

Can you see how signature confirmation and an appropriate demand for the correct video footage would remedy this?

You can do safe deals if you want to, it is your responsibility.

If you act responsibly, the exchange will rule in your favor.

who would listen to a scammer  with a a negative trust rating  of -12  advising people to post cash lol
why are we even having this conversation ??

you should repay the people you robbed and shut up at least until then

1728  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ on: November 14, 2014, 12:26:23 AM
So the overall consensus is that we're going to hit $525 then drop under $300, yes?

overall consensus lol Cheesy

Yes it is my first post and I am already helping out this coummity buy using my money to find out if this is real or not.
Instead of being smart assed maybe you should thank me for using my first post to tell you guy's my trip with this guy.
Now Everyone I sent this guy 100.00 usd to see if it's real and works so you guy's do not have to.
Any ways I contacted the guy thru e-mail and he got right back to me.
Then after I sent the BTC I have heard nothing so far but the BTC is still pending.
If I don't hear from the guy after that I will come right back here and let you guy's know to save your cash.

1730  Economy / Goods / Re: High limit Plastic VISA card 15000PLN ATM daily wihtdraw limit with unique IBAN on: November 13, 2014, 09:44:57 PM
Well everyone I sent this guy 100.00 in BTC we'll see if it gets here.
I'll keep coming back and update how it goes.
That way if it is a rip job you guy's can save the money.

Nice first post Wink
1731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the new 3 billion Euro Hedge fund take bitcoin to moon? on: November 13, 2014, 09:25:08 PM
This is actually horrible for bitcoin... Now somebody besides the miners will start dumping!!! Think about how a hedge fund works!

Now this huge increase will be a chance for them to open some serious short positions so they can make a really low bottom to buy back in at.

THERES IS NO WAY THE HEDGE FUND JOINED AND STARTED BUYING IMMEDIATELY, THIS ISN'T HOW THEY WORK! They will treat this like any other security, meaning yes we get a nice huge pop like yesterday, so they can open shorts, and make discounts for themselves

Meh/ doubt it

They're is enough interest this year to blow last year away

I think we have a new ATH on the way
1732  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 454$ on: November 13, 2014, 05:54:10 PM
Aaaaand we're back down to 407...

lol, more cheap coins!!!!

Relax, it's after midnight in China now so they're probably won't be any big spikes until they wake up again and start buying Smiley
1733  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rally - this is gentleman on: November 13, 2014, 05:52:18 PM
Bitcoin is really taking off! hit 434 allready. Cant wait to see where this goes.

430$ on Bitstamp at the time of this post and it went to 453$ on Bitstamp and higher on some other exchanges. 290$ was a great entry point considering today's price!

I didn't understand how "the gentleman" is related to any of this Tongue

I believe it hit 490 on the Chinese exchanges when it was hitting 450 on stamp
1734  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange do you trust the most? on: November 13, 2014, 05:44:52 PM
I trust BTC-e. All good for now  Cool

People used to say that about Mintpal Cool

1736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to buy Bitcoin with cash? on: November 13, 2014, 09:19:06 AM
Here's a magic trick for you, seal an empty envelope and write the receiver name on it, place another envelope on top, turn on the camera and video yourself putting the money in the envelope, writing the address and giving the bottom envelope to usps and get a mailing receipt

Now you have video evidence that you paid when you haven't because the envelope usps got was empty

We could argue all day but there is a million ways to scam from both sides

1737  Economy / Speculation / Re: $400 has been hit way too quick, people will get burned buying here on: November 13, 2014, 08:50:21 AM
It has pulled out from under and CCI, MACD and Divergence are all positive now after a very very long time. Once EXP is out to positive territory, anyone looking at charts is going to think twice about going short.

This is not a joke, we are getting out to the postive side completely.

It certainly appears that way but were not there yet. It could be all smoke & mirrors. If everything crosses for a consistent period of time with a huge buy behind it, were good to go. If its a small creep over the line with minimal support it could be a good time to sell before a potential massive sell-off which could go to sub $200.

when will we know it?

You should already know, this maybe the last time we ever see 4xx again never mind 1xx

Ask the sad people who didn't buy at 1,5,10,20,50,100, etc
1738  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 435$ on: November 13, 2014, 08:36:29 AM
I wouldnt get too excited just yet. Give it another month or 2 before you decide where price is headed.

Pick the winner if you can before they are too expensive to acquire
Its not like it's close
The alts may die off,  I know which I'd rather be holding
1739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the new 3 billion Euro Hedge fund take bitcoin to moon? on: November 13, 2014, 08:33:32 AM
Cant see any sign that they are actualy investing in BTC.

The sign might be in the price rising since yesterday, maybe they know something in China we don't know yet
1740  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's happening! --- 3̶6̶0̶$̶ 435$ on: November 13, 2014, 08:29:26 AM
so many green candles, even in the alts.  This is why i love cryptos.

eh....the alts ?

http://coinmarketcap.com/#BTC

Wow they are being hammered.

Not surprising, anyone with even half a brain would switch their alts to btc before the incoming ATH
