1661  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin goes down to $200 this week? on: December 16, 2014, 04:52:25 AM
^ The only thing the market realizes is there are too many bitcoins being made daily & too many in existence & no where near enough buyers

Coins will become more scarce as mining costs increase and block rewards get slashed

Another garbage troll post from falling/fewcoins  Smiley
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 14, 2014, 03:26:10 AM
Now that MSFT is onto it, we are one step closer to the new "PoWers that BTC"

and yet the price remains rocket free.

That's ok.
We need both - growing adoption and affordable price.

I wouldn't expect much of a price action before scalability upgrade next year.
Maybe denomination to a smaller unit at the same time would help reduce psychological barrier to entry.

It will help when people can acquire mbits easily and cheaply.... Some People will think xxxx dollars for a Bitcoin sounds  expensive but x dollars for an mbit would be  more acceptable....
1663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft IS ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 04:28:45 PM
A casino won't get a lot of new customers, just because the grocery store on next street started to accept their chips as direct payment.

Bitcoin is a gimmick for payment and the main attraction lies in speculation. So, news of new payment opportunities always have little effect. That's the hard truth about bitcoin and merchant adoption.

Obviously the concept of btc has gone right over your head and you fail to see the benefits

You need to go back to square 1 and read more, or process what you read in that mini cpu between your ears
1664  Other / Off-topic / Re: Aliens vs. Predator vs. Terminators, who would win? on: December 11, 2014, 08:34:59 AM
There should be at least a few t1000 liquid metal terminators to make things more interesting.... Smiley

and robocops ,superman and batman too ...........
1665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit about to fully integrate bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 08:19:29 AM
Lmao at "if I had written bitcoin it would have been in JavaScript."... GJ taking the risk and good luck!

it isnt a risk ....... Cool
1666  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft IS ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 08:17:56 AM
Microsoft is not accepting Bitcoin for Microsoft products. Microsoft is only accepting Bitcoin for Microsoft partners who sell through Microsoft's online store system. From the Microsoft page:  "You can only use Bitcoin to add money to your Microsoft account and then purchase digital goods at select Microsoft online stores. You can’t use Bitcoin to purchase Microsoft products and services directly at this time."

So why would they do that if bitcoin is so good or if Gates really liked it that much... Why aren't they invested in it or at least buying some???
If there was the slightest chance we could hit $1,000+ per coin again don't you think they would buy some? Don't you think the government would have held on?
Maybe all these people already know the end is here... Maybe that's why that ETF is not coming out in its current form.
The jig is up!

keep  on grasping at those strawz lol

1668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft IS ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 06:29:50 AM
in future we will see more big merchants looking into bitcoin as payment option

This isn't a good this with the current way they get paid (USD)

Big companies accepting bitcoins hardly made wonders for bitcoin price recently, isn't it?

It actually has a huge negative effect on the price for many reasons... This high pop we got to $360ish~ because of this news is going to hurt even more tomorrow morning

Do you never get tired of being wrong?  Lol
1669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft IS ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 06:16:11 AM
Big companies accepting bitcoins hardly made wonders for bitcoin price recently, isn't it?

They will when they figure out the real benefits, such as saving millions of dollars a year in processing fees and all sales are final (irrereversible transactions)  and such minor details like that Smiley
1670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft IS ACCEPTING Bitcoin! on: December 11, 2014, 05:06:25 AM
pump and dump wahle exit. Bulltrap of the 1st order.

Its mainstream acceptance kicking in, it just takes time.....

All your defence is bullshit to anyone who wants their money/coin back , you say I don't have the facts

If you know everything , pray tell...

Disclosure is necessary when the customers have been defrauded in the change of ownership deal

Perhaps you are one of them and as such don't appreciate such questions being asked ?  Smiley

Disclosure is not necessary when it could potentially reveal to the opposition what the game plan is.

FYI, I lost 2.8 BTC as well.

HTF  would knowing how much mintpal owners profited from the sale/scam  affect ryan kennedys eventual  arrest for theft ?

more strawman arguments ............Smiley

the owners people trusted with btc are  guilty until proven otherwise ........if they gave the keys of the safe to kennedy as claimed
theyre still responsible for the loss in part

1672  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Arrested for feeding homeless people on: December 10, 2014, 08:43:27 AM
I am not sure if this is a good idea or not. On one hand the numerous arrests have clearly not deterred this person from sharing/giving away his food to the homeless, however on the other hand it does disregard the rule of law as what he is doing is clearly against the law

If they want him to stop they have to put in some infrastructure that provides food   for the hungry and  homeless at the very least..... If not amenities as well

Murica turning into Africa?

That infrastructure already exists in the form of soup kitchens, shelters, food banks, and other organized charities.

The old dude chose to ignore that infrastructure and the applicable food safety laws.

The Free Shit Army uses the homeless as a weapon to threaten the middle class, and so insists on feeding them without regard for time/place/manner regulations.
The food safety laws is the whole point of the arrests. Although the homeless and hungry likely could care less about the food they are being served being prepared in a sanitary manor, the public should care as they are the ones who will end up paying for healthcare in the event that a homeless person ends up sick because of what they ate

ive seen homeless people eating from garbage cans ........im not sure thats the issue because they do plenty of other stuff that would could make them sick
and medical bills are not taken into consideration
maybe turning public property into a soup kitchen attrcting even more homeless to congregate there is part of the issue
and as already mentioned ,after they eat, they will shit wherever etc and nobody will clean it up

if there was adequate charity soup mkitchens in place ,why would they bother eating this guys food

is it so delicious they cant resist  Smiley or is there a shortfall in whats needed and whats actually available ?

Is he very wealthy or how can he afford to run this unlicensed charity?
Just slap him with a million dollar fine every week until he  is homeless as well and can join his friends in the park would be very easy solution to the problem for any forward thinking  judge  Smiley

No need to lock him up at all, just take all his assets and that's the end of it.......

Get the facts out of you have them

How much did the mintpal owners benefit from the sale?

No idea, you'd have to ask them, but people don't normally share that kind of information, regardless of the business sector.

Hope it was a lot because they gave away the keys to the safe without any regard for the property within which wasnt even theirs in the first as they were only safeguarding it for the owners...?

The same happens with any/every business sector, there was no 'without any regard', the old owners are easily searched online, people know them and they were not to know anything like this would happen

Was the sale announced in advance and if so when?

About 2-3 months in advance.

We're coin owners given notification that new ownership will take over in advance?  (they should have if they weren't)

See above, ample time.

This is all too hard to believe without transparency and if they have nothing to hide they should come clean,

Believe what you wish, it doesn't make you right though Wink

I mean, they facilated and profited from the theft of millions of dollars of Coins they were entrusted with no matter what happened )

With all the questions you are asking, you seem, in reality, to know very little about what's actually happening. I'd probably refrain from posting until you have all the facts, eh?

All your defence is bullshit to anyone who wants their money/coin back , you say I don't have the facts

Seems some persons here attacking without enought knowledge of what's going on. I understand the frustration (i've some) - but I would first get a clearer picture before to accuse. The whole situation is a mess, but some people are doing their best to resolve it. I mean, fight the right battle, hit the good target !

1677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are the whales getting beaten? on: December 07, 2014, 02:10:01 PM
They're will be a hell of a lot more new infrastructure by the time the next block Reward halves so Bitcoins will have a lot more " spendability " and a lot more scarcity

This can only have a positive impact on the price going forward but I think they will get a few times more valuable  even way before all that happens sometime in 2016....

not me

Acab ftw
1679  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are the whales getting beaten? on: December 07, 2014, 04:24:25 AM
It seems like there are either fewer dumping whales right now or that they are not able to manipulate the market like they used to. Which is it?

It is that the weak hands have all gone and the whales cant start a sell off because there are few willing to sell?

Miners are selling to pay for their hardware, maintenance and electricity; as the price goes down they need to sell more BTC to have the same number of Dollar which push the price lower.

and the price will continue lower and lower and lower and lower.......

Oho No it doesn't  Smiley
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - MintpalJustice.com - Report Missing Funds on: December 05, 2014, 06:21:17 PM
So ask them what the fuck they does with one from the best exchanges. They migrate working exchange to piece of ugly shit. Maybe it was only part of the plan and they are enjoying our money together. BTC is going down, so best business is steal whole exchange and dump all coins.

They sold it, it wasn't them that did that....

They allegedly sold it to a thief who proceeded to rape the  coins
They are at least partly responsible even if they weren't involved in the theft, they should have had a responsibility  to ensure the safety of the customers and that would involve not giving the keys of the shop to a scammer....

I completely agree.

Sorry, but they should reimburse a portion of the money to us with the money they made on the supposed sale of the company. Honestly, this entire thing is shady as all hell.

If the exchange was sold along with everyone's Coins how much was it sold for?

Was the announcement of change of ownership made Before the sale?

Who would sell an exchange that was making a nice profit anyway?

It really does sound shady as hell,we sold the business and immediately the new owner scammed everything but the old owners are completely exonerated...... Bullshit

Does Ryan green/Kennedy even exist and even if he does there's no way to prove they all didn't share the 4000+ btc and blame it on a "new owner"
