2301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funny thing I'm learning... on: July 25, 2016, 03:15:14 AM
Not really surprising. If you spend a lot of time on the Internet, chances are you have clicked into a website that gives you 1m satoshi. We usually just ignore stuffs online that we think are a scam or too good to be true. Maybe you signed up on one of those kind of offers or maybe a faucet site that you are in is giving out bonus.

I think you have surfed the net a lot and just can't remember where did you get the bonus.
2302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do bitcoin accepted in your country? on: July 25, 2016, 03:10:10 AM
Yep, we do have this online wallet, coins.ph. You could convert your bitcoins into fiat and withdraw it via an atm. And also, there's a convenience store found on most places in the city where they really do accept bitcoins as a payment.
2303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum Amount To Start Trading? on: July 25, 2016, 03:03:01 AM
I think there's no minimum amount of money to start trading, only good amount. More capital means more coins you can invest in. You could start small but even when you profit, the profit would be small as well. Be careful though, more capital doesn't always mean more profit. More capital could lead to more loss too.
2304  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Ideas! on: July 25, 2016, 02:51:22 AM
Some people are thinking about merging the idea of PokemonGo and Bitcoin. If you could do that, I guess a lot of people would be satisfied. It would need a lot of funds though and it would be sort of hard (I think) because the whole thing needs GPS and PokemonGo took 20 years before they finished the project.
2305  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed on: July 24, 2016, 09:24:28 AM
In another topic he try to sell trackers and he delete each time my reply where i warn about him
You could atleast write on his feedback so you could warn people. He cannot delete that.

Even if you prove that he scammed you, the decision of you getting back your money is still based on the other party. I find it amusing that you (the one who's using Paypal) is the one who got scammed. It's usually the person who's trying to trade his Paypal to BTC who scams people.

More so what is the point of opening a scam accusation thread if your proofs are coming SOON? You might as well make a soon to be scammed post...  Roll Eyes
Humor is so hard on this one. Made my day.
2306  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit SCAM random accounts. on: July 24, 2016, 09:20:29 AM
Any update from you OP, if yobit still didn't paid your withdrawal request yet? Its been more than 10 days since you post it here, and I guess there are so many issues like this that yobit got involve but they always resolve like this issues. But if still and nothing happens then let the members here decide what is the best we can do for yobit.

Took me 20 seconds to know the answer to your question. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1544868 He created 2 threads and he didn't lock this thread after the issue was resolved. He got his BTC but he did get a negative trust from Shorena.
2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alarming bad publicity to bitcoins in social media on: July 24, 2016, 09:13:51 AM
I think it's actually a good thing that some people on social media are giving bitcoins a bad name. If the viewer is dumb enough to believe everything that he could read on his phone, then he's stupid enough to be not in this industry. We don't need those type of people.

Media has given a lot of good things a bad name so this one isn't surprising at all.
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Random guy asks you about this internet money BITCOIN on: July 24, 2016, 09:08:32 AM
If that's from our country, here's the three (3) things that I would say:

1. The government can't put tax on you if your salary is on Bitcoin. (Tax is a major issue in our country)

2. You can't be scammed by some people out there when they're paying you with bitcoin because it's irreversible. (Unless you're stupid)

3. If you do have a wallet, a bank account, and some coins, just imagine that those 3 things exists online as well. You know how those three works, that's how it works online as well (basically).

I have received my payment after sending yahoo a message. I think the new spreadsheet is done with the counting of posts since all of us were paid now, but my rank still says 'Full Member'. I'm a Sr. Member already since last Wednesday.

Thanks, guys! Feel free to point out my mistakes, I will fix it as soon as I can. I have removed the table on my previous posts so this thread wouldn't look spammy. I would only leave the latest table posted so people could see it. Here's the pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/BspT0s22
2311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 23, 2016, 10:41:07 AM
The most common mistakes for newbies include going to the lending section and asking for a loan and using their new bitcoin account as collateral.  Does not make much sense to do that, because the account is not worth nothing as a newbie, but you never know what is on their minds!!

"Not worth nothing"? Double negative infers positive. Maybe you mean 'not worth anything'. It should be a common sense to anyone that a newbie account is worth nothing because you can make a new account in a minute. You can't actually blame them. They're "newbies" and that means that they know very little in this forum. But some people really are just pretending to be a newbie and are trying to scam the lender.
2312  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think bitcoins will disapear or become unused? on: July 23, 2016, 10:26:34 AM
Not a chance, do people stop using fiat? No. Maybe they update the design of their fiat money from time to time but they do not stop using that currency. Unlike in bitcoin, we do not have to update the design of it because it's purely digital. Bitcoin has no physical appearance, it's a data. There might be some people who make physical coins for bitcoin but it's not mainly used by people.

I think you missed mine. Smiley btw, I'm a Sr. Member now.
2314  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 23, 2016, 10:05:10 AM
Thanks for helping out. Just a small nitpick the PNYC text should be in yellow.

Maybe this is more practical. A table only, remove the detailed part. It takes the most time when doing updates and I personally think that its least used. Not sure when Mitchell will be back to read it, just a suggestion.

You're welcome, Shorena. Yep, if you think of it, the detailed part isn't used that much. People would just click the link of the signature campaign they want to be in and check the original thread anyway. I changed the PNYC to yellow. Pastebin here: http://pastebin.com/MStHb2Mr. The OP used the orange color in PNYC, in that case, here's the orange version: http://pastebin.com/3UC97L4M

I know it's not my responsibility to update the table but sorry for the delay. I was busy that I wasn't able to update the table for ~2 days. Here's the pastebin for the table: http://pastebin.com/MStHb2Mr
2316  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan 0.013 btc on: July 21, 2016, 01:09:11 PM
^ This and you sould be able to sign a message from an unedited staked wallet that is at least 3 months old.

I don't think so, OP should have posted his address 2 days after (April 21, 2016) he registered in this forum (April 19, 2016) to make the address 3 months old. Also, even if he's able to do that, his account is not worth 0.013 BTC. This "loan" request is just OP's way to sell his account as seen in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1558715.msg15646497#msg15646497
2317  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 21, 2016, 01:01:58 PM
Loans aren't too risky for people that are cautious. But for me, loans are risky enough that I wouldn't do it. People usually just run away after they got the loan that they wanted. Some even would offer a collateral but they never cared about that collateral since day one. Some people use getting a loan to get rid of something they want to sell. It's pretty obvious though when someone just want to run away with your money. There's some people in here who have made some profit out of lending even if they don't require collateral.
2318  Economy / Services / Re: ♦♠♥♣♪♫[Free Personal Signature Design]♫♪♣♥♠♦ on: July 21, 2016, 12:45:40 PM
Wow. This is such a great idea, Hmmm. Can you try to design this quotation for me just to make an example for your topic.
"Try not to become a man of success but a man of value''. Thanks in advance.

A Jr. Member signature isn't a good sample work for signature design. We wouldn't know OP's potential until he makes one for a Hero Member. There's not much you can do in a signature design of a Jr. Member, look at what he posted, just a simple combination of special characters + the text that you wanted.

To OP, it would be really really cool if you have posted a sample work for each rank so we could see what is your level in making signature designs. Also, I wonder if you'd make signature designs to someone who asks for a signature design for all ranks.
2319  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: July 21, 2016, 12:40:57 PM
Bitcoin didn't change the course of my life or smth. It didn't have a big impact on me. Actually, it's just a usual thing for me. Going online to make some money has been the normal thing for me since 2014. I usually do stuffs by running an Android platform on my PC by using bluestacks. I play different applications like Whaff, 8share, etc to earn some money.

But when I got into bitcointalk, it did change my routine. Instead of checking new money making apps, I could just sit in front of my PC and post things in here. As simple as that, I can earn money. It saved me a lot of time that I could focus on other things after.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 21, 2016, 12:22:13 PM
I think you can't stay away from addiction of gambling by this way. The best way to stay away from addiction in gamble is give your hand to the Lord.
It's all in your head that you want to gamble, you just can't.

If you're able to "give your hand to the Lord", then you surely are already in heaven (In christianity). Anyway, I have no idea what would the religion do if you try to ask them for some help. Try going to a church and ask the priest to help you stay away from gambling. It's either he'll make you as a servant of church or he'll just said Godly things like "God has forgiven you. Do not repeat such action again." or "Your addiction is caused by the devil." To be honest, those words wouldn't even do any thing that would lead you to staying away from gambling.
