2301  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Funds Available - [btc]0.0475) Wanted Borrowers! on: September 17, 2019, 02:51:26 PM
Tingin niyo possible ang idea ko na ito and fair for borrowers and lenders?

For example
willing ako mag borrow ng worth of 200USD in BTC sa ngayong oras, so may price yan in BTC.

Like what @asu said, sobrang risky at malulugi yung magbibigay ng fund sa requested loan mo.

Cheesy

It's not easy to lend money, kaya sa pagpapahiram ng pera, I think dapat pabor pa rin sa kanila kasi sila yung tumutulong sa mga nangangailangan. Also, we can't predict the value of Bitcoin easily, di mo naman sure na bagsak ang BTC for how many months at mahirap din maging kampante.

User finaleshot2016 (full history)

Having a ratio of 0.3048, it's not bad for an average user here. Thanks for this info.

I might increase this ratio at least 0.5 and once I reached it, the next goal is flat 1. Maybe it will take a lot more years before I'm successfully have done that. I need more people to appreciate my threads in local. lol  Cheesy
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CSGO Match Predictions on: September 16, 2019, 12:25:39 AM
There's a recent league which is BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019 but it's already ended yesterday.

BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2019 will start on November 2019 while the GLOBAL FINAL 2019 on December.

Just vote for Astralis and you'll be good. Have faith on astralis, I might bet on them but still I need your predictions.
Gonna get notifications.
This is what I'm doing where do give my bettables to team astralis and it did pays off well.
I'm aint saying this do give out some assurance but high chances on making money.
Team liquid is also a good option not this team stand out on Dota2 but also on CS:Go as well.

For OP, try to start giving out predictions on upcoming events and I might consider on tailing it out.

Well, Team Liquid has a plays too but I'm still going for Astralis. Even TL is on the top of the series with 28 points, Astralis is on 22 points, it's just a small gap. If Astralis won the Copenhagen then they will be the leading participant of global final 2019.

I'm still waiting for OP to show his/her predictions and hoping there's an explanation to that.
2305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZON IS A THREAT ON FACEBOOK'S LIBRA on: September 16, 2019, 12:21:34 AM
They still don't have their own coin to become a threat against Libra Coin, so how can they become a threat to Libracoin, unless they have a plan to follow Libra Coin's lead, then we have something to compare and debate, Amazon is big but Facebook is progressing with their Libracoin.

All popular companies have high possibilities to enter cryptocurrency since they have a community that will support them. So if ever Amazon entered the crypto world, it will be a huge threat for Libra. Google can also cause threat on them but they're affiliated with facebook.

Like what I've said on my thread:
Quote
According to analyst company, which is cindicator, they told that Amazon is a big threat for facebook's libra. We all know that Amazon is the world's largest online retailer and have more potential to be on the top than Libra. Since Facebook has still scars to be fixed due to its issue last year.

2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / AMAZON IS A THREAT ON FACEBOOK'S LIBRA on: September 15, 2019, 05:24:14 PM
Since Facebook has already entered the crypto world and presenting the facebook libra. Last June 2019, they announced that facebook's libra will formally be released in 2020 and the whitepaper is already out on the public.

Whitepaper of Facebook's Libra:

According to analyst company, which is cindicator, they told that Amazon is a big threat for facebook's libra. We all know that Amazon is the world's largest online retailer and have more potential to be on the top than Libra. Since Facebook has still scars to be fixed due to its issue last year.

Regarding the issue of data compromised on facebook way back 2018
Facebook discovered a security issue that allowed hackers to access information that could have let them take over around 50 million accounts, the company announced Friday. “This is a very serious security issue, and we're taking it very seriously,” said CEO Mark Zuckerberg on a call with reporters.

People already lost their trust to invest more in the upcoming Libra of Facebook, so I think it's a great loss for them when Amazon releases its own cryptocurrency. There's still no specific date or action if Amazon will release their own coin so stay tuned. Any thoughts?

Prooving it here or might stand as reference: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/6b72b87cbe383b60/addresses. Yes, the bitcoin address itself ay personal wallet nga lang. No other bitcoin addresses connected, which means na nagiisa lang ang may ari ng 94,505 BTC na yan.

Guessing again na this is somewhat na early bird kay bitcoin that invested way back na sobrang baba pa siguro ng value ni btc, like miners.

Based on OP, dito nanggalin yung 94,505 BTC: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/07fdd3e04d226670/addresses. Lots of huge bitcoin transactions happened here in this btc address and I don’t see anything na crypto exchange na connected dahil walang ni isa na bahid na transactions sa exchange yung bitcoin address.

So malayong mangyari na yung BTC is from an exchange, may doubt na rin ako na galing sa exchange yan kasi kailangan ng transparency sa isang exchange. If manggagaling man sa exchange I think may record yan sa mismong platform.

36 transactions lang meron and the first transaction on this address happened this September 6, 2019.

2309  Other / Meta / Re: [REPORT] Fake Conversations Alerts on: September 15, 2019, 03:54:19 PM
Shitbumping was common in altcoin discussion using alt accounts. I know someone that is doing the same thing but don't have enough evidences to prove that it's alt accounts. It's very disgusting if you're just talking to yourself, such a poor human trying to bump his own idea through fake replies and supports the idea.

The worst part of having fake conversations is the alt accounts are earning through BTC sig camps while doing fake conversation. I can't report those (it will be another bad report) since it's very constructive and people are too lazy to check and observe if they're just spitting nonsense on a thread.
2310  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: September 15, 2019, 03:34:50 PM

The thoughts or opinions of those person na naunang magbigay ng pahayag ang mas priority natin since sila din ang cons for having another merit source.
This is a debatable topic, I hope people here should care what's happening kasi lahat tayo makikinabang dito.
2311  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas - sMerit Distribution Summary on: September 15, 2019, 03:25:04 PM
If I found someone na sobrang ganda ng sagot, di na ako nagdadalawang isip magbigay pero yung ibang post na nakikita ko na sobrang basic na kahit sa social media like facebook or other platforms ay makukuha mo yung info na ganon ay nakakakuha pa ng merits. Sobrang unfair diba? Obviously, hindi nila kaya ipilit yung sarili nila to engage more knowledge about cryptocurrency, blockchain and other stuffs since this forum is tech, knowledge, discussion related website pero yung iba focused sa pera.

I agree with you except on these points. This forum is bitcointalk but it does not mean that this forum will only cater to Bitcoin topics and discussions. One thing that this forum offers, and offers abundantly, is freedom. Here, we can discuss about altcoins, even shitcoins and scamcoins, and the like. There is/are a convincing reason/s why there are sections devoted to politics and society, gambling, goods, lending, various services, and even off topics. Otherwise, this forum will appear a highly exclusive one in which only a handful of nerdy/geeky/techy programmers/coders/IT individuals could relate and contribute.

It shouldn't be tolerated at karamihan lang naman dito is nag-engage sa forum because of the benefits which is hindi natin matatanggi. The reason why they created this forum at first is to get any updates about bitcoin itself and the technology behind it. Pero the whole purpose of this was to discuss anything about bitcoin.

Quote
*hindi nila kayaipilit yung sarili nila to engage more knowledge about cryptocurrency, blockchain and other stuffs
Quote
this forum is tech, knowledge, discussion pero yung iba focused sa pera

I think walang mali dito, depende nalang sa pagkakaintindi or baka kasi may naoffend kasi totoo. Some of them are trying to engage kahit mahirap (Kasi ako, ganon ako) at may mga kilala akong ganon din pero yung iba kasi wala talaga so sorry nalang if this words are very offending pero that's the fact here at hindi na mababago yun.

Hindi ko rin sinasabing more on tech dapat tayo, I also indicated the term knowledge and discussion so general siya. I'm just hoping na tech or other stuff that is related to BTC ang dapat nangingibabaw.
"pero yung iba focused sa pera", it's a direct hit, paki-include rin siya kasi isang buong sentence yon. Kaya namimislead kasi baka yung highlighted lang yun mapansin.

I don't think that a post is only deserving of merit because it is complex or techy. For me, any post that is constructive, well-researched, well-thought of, putting forward creative or new idea/s, and so on could earn a merit. In other words, a post that significantly contributes to the discussion or thread is worth a merit. Although I have to admit that even with this standard, our local board couldn't provide much.
My points there is kahit complex na yung ginagawa mo, they still give merits on common statements. Sa part na ito is yung pagiging fair sa bawat isa dito and hindi naman nirerequire na gumawa lahat ng complex na threads or post. I know we have freedom on giving merits pero what's the purpose of having this community kung pati sa pagbibigay, bias. Yes, anything that contributes or add information to our local is worth to be given merits, pero dito lang sa community natin hindi nangyayari yon or maybe nangyayari pero sa limited lang na tao and hindi ramdam. Even now, may merits, does my arguments are wrong? hindi naman.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 15, 2019, 02:57:10 PM

Most people prefer soccer, I think the biggest sports gambling is soccer because soccer is much preferred. many sites offer bets such as guess what. but I don't like online but offline, that's more certain.
Basketball is only popular in America, in other parts of the world basketball is not too famous. different from soccer which spreads evenly to all parts of the world. but I prefer gambling online only, because offline is more complicated you have to find an opponent or dealer first to gamble

Soccer is not popular in our country also because basketball is the leading sports here in the Philippines. But according to the statistics, the reason why soccer is more popular than basketball because soccer is known in a big continent like Europe and Africa that consist of many people.

The soccer has a big community also, even in social media platforms around the world.
2313  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [DISCUSSION] Candidate for the next Merit Source. on: September 15, 2019, 02:36:23 PM
I'll gonna bring this topic up again kasi feel ko need talaga natin ng another merit source.

I need more discussion kasi ang dami ng nagbigay ng thoughts dito regarding sa dagdag ng merit source pero wala pa akong nakikitang magandang sagot until now sa cons, it's just a personal desires?

This thread has a lot more sense than the other topics kung totoong may care talaga sa local, try to contribute any opinions kasi wala namang mali, lahat naman tinatanggap pero may natatalo sa debate right?

I'm hoping this to thread to become a debatable topic pero walang may kayang pandigan or i-prove na tama yung sinasabi nila.  Roll Eyes

Since tayo na yung mga may alam at mas nakakataas, I think tayo na rin mag-engage ng mga quality discussions to avoid shitthreads/shitposts. Since nasa atin na rin ang standard, sana tayo na rin magsimula to have good threads. We are always saying na wala ng mabibigyan ng merits 'cause we don't have enough quality threads that have quality discussion, what do they call themselves? pare-parehas lang tayong quality poster here na may standard, syempre we're one of those people na makikinabang. Other local boards have a lot of merit source kasi nga free lang naman mag-apply, it's an opportunity that we should grab. We have the ability to change those rankings kung ang thinking natin is may consideration sa lahat, not only by ourselves.  Wink

--
All of us has the ability to send because we have sMerits, so some people asking kung paano maibibigay yung merits at masasayang lang daw kung wala ng nagpopost, gumagawa ng threads or wala ng active? then what do you call yourselves? Ang dami na rin nating quality poster, even here in this discussion, lahat ng arguments and opinions niyo, welcome sa thread ko and I know all of you deserve sMerits kasi you've participated in this discussion. You can receive more merits naman, wala naman tayong minimum sa pagbibigay ng sMerits. We can give them more depende sa deserve nilang sMerits. So my point here is walang masasayang na sMerits sa atin, sadyang tayo mismo ang gumawa ng standard na +1 lang ay okay na.

I think para mas maging fair na yung local natin, let's support kung sino man ang magaapply sa pagiging merit source. All I can see here are pure personal lang yung mga actions, let's build our local here.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Money is Dirty Money on: September 15, 2019, 01:50:20 PM
I think it's based on the culture or perspective on gambling.

If gambling is really just for entertainment, you can't say it's bad. I mean you won that money through your instincts, what's the wrong with that? people lack understanding in situation like this because of social media.

Media are trying to pollute the minds of the people through negative news about gambling so their perspective on gambling will be also negative. That's how toxic our culture is, only open-minded people appreciate what's gambling for and its true purpose. Regarding dirty money, if it's gambling is legal in your country then it's not dirty money, people should be more practical since we're having a crisis even on education.

Dirty money comes from illegal actions like corruption, that's the time you can call it dirty.
2315  Local / Pilipinas / Re: [NEWS] 5th Richest bitcoin wallet. on: September 15, 2019, 01:32:27 PM
Pagmamay-ari ng palitan yan.
Reference?  Grin

I'm still searching about the owner kung sa exchange ba ito, known company or sa iisang tao and wala pa akong nakikitang valid article na makakapagsabi na galing ito sa exchange. Millions of money or billions rather ay posible rin sa iisang tao so we can't say na sa palitan 'tong wallet na to.

Any thoughts?

Probably yung holder is madaming hawak na company if mag i-assume lalo na sa latest transaction ng btc address nato 18fyEQXaZQgCbNoE5Qjs6W7Pnqc9Yp4PQD that has a name na Human Rights Foundation,

Still we don't know the exact info kung galing nga ba ito sa exchange, thanks for the additional info @asu.
Maybe this is owned by a company since meron itong transaction with a foundation dahil madalas ang mga private company ay nagkakaroon or nagfufund ng pera para sa mga foundations.

If it comes from an exchange, hindi ganyan kalaking pera ang bibigay nila for the foundation.

2316  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pilipinas - sMerit Distribution Summary on: September 15, 2019, 01:17:43 PM
Any concern regarding sa merit distribution ng ating local?

Even I'm not active during weekdays kasi i'm currently studying pero nagoobserve pa rin ako kung san patungo yung local natin.

I think I'll spit some real talk here kasi medyo marami na rin nakakapansin, our local is kinda going down for real.  Cheesy

After maka-receive ng sandamakmak ng merits from @DarkStar_ nung June 9, 2019, bumaba at bumaba ulit yung merit distribution natin.

It might sound offending pero I think that's the reality we're facing here in local.

Sobrang unfair diba?

Same. We have high-standards pag ganon kasi nga we're tired of seeing common topics na nakikita lang din sa social media platforms.
2317  Local / Pilipinas / [NEWS] 5th Richest bitcoin wallet. on: September 15, 2019, 12:52:50 PM
This news can be seen in the BTC discussion already but I think it's worth to share here in our local also.

Any thoughts?

This news was really interesting, he/she will be known as the owner of 5th bitcoin wallet that has a lot of BTC or also known as the richest bitcoin wallet in history.

Since the OP didn't put the blockchain tx which I'm very curious about, I searched about it. Here's the link, https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/4410c8d14ff9f87ceeed1d65cb58e7c7b2422b2d7529afc675208ce2ce09ed7d
The BTC address received exactly 94,504.03465148 BTC from 1JCe8z4jJVNXSjohjM4i9Hh813dLCNx2Sy.

As of now, there still no claimant on the wallet even here in bitcointalk. Maybe its owner is the CEO of a known international company.
