2321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's heard about bitcoin pure? on: November 14, 2017, 06:18:44 PM
I think it's a very big and good project

Are you just spam posting or just very new to crypto? "bitcoin pure" is a shitcoin
2322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Participation? on: November 14, 2017, 06:17:32 PM
Before investing you should evaluate the coin, and then from that you will be able to tell if it is a good investment in your opinion. Some ICO's are over evaluated and some are not, most are however. Just because money is being made right now ( we are extremely early in the crypto world ) doesn't mean it is a "good" investment. Lots of people are getting lucky and getting greedy. I have seen people get frustrated there coin only went up 20% in a month, that is ridiculous. You will see a falling out with ICO's as more and more people get burned. I will link some helpful YouTube videos I created about this.

Bitcoin has bigger problems than the fork situations.
2324  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin Speculation thread on: November 14, 2017, 06:09:47 PM
Where do you see bitcoin in 1 year?

Bitcoin has always been a hard investment for me to hold long term, because I still don't think the utility of the coin is worth the $100b+ market cap. As crypto currency gets more popular, I think we will see governments and big companies creating there own coin which will have some more utility. If a government creates its own coin, that will be the coin that is successful since it has some sort of backing. No one likes it when someone says bitcoin will fail, which is NOT what I am saying.

What are your thoughts on bitcoin as a long term investment? Do you think it is reasonable to allocate 60% of your crypto investment portfolio too it? I personally see merit in investing 15-25% of my portfolio into bitcoin.
2325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 14, 2017, 05:58:38 PM
for me personally, until now, a little part of trading it, because I have not done as you do, and for and a small part I invested it, because I prepare this for my child later, to guarantee his life later. maybe the next day when I have not had offspring, and I find the price at the top very high, maybe I will sell what I invested earlier. and i live in indonesia.

So you are more interested in the financial investment rather than the utility?

2328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Enjin coin reach a $100m Market Cap?? on: November 14, 2017, 03:56:54 PM
Anyone else investing in the coin? Did you buy it via the ICO or did you buy it on a exchange? We see a increase in the coin today, but it is pretty artificial.
2329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum heading to the moon? Speculation Thread on: November 14, 2017, 03:55:33 PM
Yes it will go way up, just give it time. Bitcoin also took its time going up and it was a pretty good year for ethereum. I think 1000-2000$ ethereum is pretty likely in the next year.
So you think that Ethereum is going to go up 3x to 6x in a single year? I’m not an expert in predicting anything but I think the chances of that happening are very low, ethereum grew a lot in this year but the market cap was a lot lower, now that the market cap is this huge we cannot expect the price to go up that much in such a short time amount of time.

Yeah I certainly dont think it will jump 3x-6x, however I dont think $600 is a bad prediction for next year sometime.
2330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets Create NEW ICO standards! | Ultimate thread on: November 14, 2017, 03:49:40 PM
In 21st century we are already tired of standards and regulations and this explains the boom of the cryptos and ICOs. If you want standards and regulations you can go the traditional way which we have at present. You mentioned it in your last sentence "As investors we need to make smarter decisions with our precious coins".

Regulation and standards are 2 different things. Making standards is not restrictive to the ICO frenzy.

I think it should be standart practice that funds unlock at milestones. For example 1/3 unlocked when BETA release, 1/3 when full platform release etc.

That would certainly be nice
2331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What upcoming ICO's are you most interested in? on: November 12, 2017, 08:41:52 PM
Anyone else interested in a ICO that is not listed? I have done a little research on a few of them and will certainly take a closer look at some.
2332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Enjin coin reach a $100m Market Cap?? on: November 12, 2017, 08:40:40 PM

2333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airswap a decentralized exchange token, could it be the next 10x? on: November 12, 2017, 08:37:59 PM
Has anyone else seen this coin, or invested in it? I am always willing to hear new opinions on any coin that I review.
2334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 12, 2017, 08:36:07 PM
I do live on crypto currency daily. It is a strange story. I always wanted to do that, but never felt brave enough to start doing that. Recently,  I had to move to another country, and therefore i had to quit my job. Today, i am sitting home doing full-time crypto currincy jobs and spending them with my bitcoin debit card. So i actually live on crypto coins Smiley

That is very nice to hear Smiley It is certainly not easy off the bat.

living on cryptocurrency daily is future holdings funds in trezor ledger buy altcoins and shopping through debit card is future fait currency slowly fade away

I dont think it is really fading fiat.
2335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin entering colleges and universities| DISCUSSION | on: November 12, 2017, 08:35:18 PM
I've seen in some news (sorry, don't have the link) that in some universities they already have subjects dedicated to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. But I think that at least for now there's not enough space in the education system. My bet is that cryptocurrency principles will be taught in many universities soon, but probably just as a part of a more general course... for example within cryptography classes.

Interesting, I will need to do more research then. I didn't know some places already had it in there system. I know there are training websites etc but I wasn't aware of any colleges or universities.
2336  Other / Off-topic / Re: Crypto Currency Youtubers on: November 12, 2017, 08:34:20 PM
Starting a youtube channel is very hard, but you did it greatly, i've been also starting such kind of channel but it didn't work. Nice job bro, it can help all people that are interested in cryto currency. I hope it will continue to become successful.

Thank you very much for the support Smiley I appreciate your comment.

Is there a general roaster or list of crypto youtubers that anyone of you can share with me? I have tried searching for some, but with little to no result Smiley

If you type in crypto currency topics on youtube I am sure you can find a few :p however I am not going to advertise any in here.

I just saw your youtube channel and congratulations! You did a good job so I hope you'll be engaging next time in upcoming ICO or currently running ICOs because some of our fellow bitcoin enthusiasts like me
can't assess them easily.

Thanks I appreciate the comment Smiley I will have a lot more coming up, I just got back from traveling so I will be back to the grind tonight.

Crypto currency was shown a lot of short and long movie in the Youtube, but still we cannot earn income thru watching movie in the youtube site.
Since the latter site are partners of crypto currency I'm looking forward that when they are consuming internet thru watching in youtube, they were earned income from they in returned to us.

I am not very sure what you are saying here.

Could you add about trading technical?
like swing trading or something like that.
tips when there's buy support with the news and not FOMO.
with MACD tools for example.  Smiley

Yeah I will put this on my list of videos Smiley Thanks for the suggestion.

Congratulation this is important step for you. I was thinkg trying something similar. Cheers

Thank you very much, if you create a YouTube channel then good luck with yours!
2337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever convince or encourage someone to invest in Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2017, 01:51:41 AM
I have convinced a few friends and family to invest in Ethereum and bitcoin. I gave them the tools and resources to make their own decision

Well I tried to convince my friends in ETH not bitcoins because BTC is kind of expensive now as an asset ,the value is around $7.3K and still going up.
On the other hand ETH is $300 and is affordable to buy as an asset.
But investing or not it's on them , if they feel that investing in cryptos are risky then they should drop my suggestion.

They can always buy a fraction of a bitcoin. A 1% increase is the same amount of money
2338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x cancellation discussion on: November 09, 2017, 01:49:59 AM
Hey guys, how about we create our voting here in the forum about the Segwit2x. Someone should create it for us to know if Bitcointalk forum agrees or not. This can shade light in our stand about this move. Anyone agrees with it? hehe. If someone create the voting, please post the link here for us to vote...

Would be cool to see what favor the bitcoin talk community is in, check out the poll here : https://twitter.com/cryptoassetnews/status/928439080714670080

I will also add it to the OP so everyone can see it. Good idea
2339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to buy eth and altcoins with lowest fees on: November 08, 2017, 11:01:18 PM
I personally use coinbase, however it can have fairly high fees. And can take awhile if you have not made a lot of transactions
2340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x cancellation discussion on: November 08, 2017, 10:58:44 PM
Video analysis : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9XlstCRTLM

It will be very interesting to see how the price of bitcoin is affected, I know a lot of people that bought into bitcoin because they wanted the "free coin". It is currently up around 2% however the news is so new that people are likely still analysis it. I know I am personally glad they didn't go through with it, and am very happy with the way the crypto currency community is involved. I like the idea that the community/miners/investors etc can reject it.

What are your thoughts on it?

What free coin? Aren't you mistaking 2x with Bitcoin Gold fork?
There's no free coin here. If that's what is supposedly driving people to buy you all should sell ASAP, before they wake up seeing there was no airdrop Cheesy
As for the fork I thought there was an agreement made months ago to push it through and people were happily buying into a coin that was about to get hard forked and suddenly now they have cold feet. That's cute.

I have seen a lot of people that think there is a "free coin". I am not 100% as to why everyone just got cold feet. We could possibly see something like this again in the future anyway.
